Abstract

This research aims to identify the ways in which the urban regulations of Padang Beach have affected the ways in which street sellers do business. The author carried out this study by employing descriptive qualitative methods. Interviews and documentation are the means of data collection employed in this study. After completing the data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing steps of the data analysis process, conclusions were drawn. This study draws on Blackman's theory of urban policy, which focusses on public service provision and access improvement in metropolitan areas. According to the study's findings, both enabling and limiting variables impact the implementation of street vendor arrangements from an urban policy standpoint. The problems faced in structuring street vendors are regulations and institutions, availability of land for developing facilities, empowerment and supervision and partnerships and the role of the community. So, to fix issues with street vendor management in the Padang Beach region, we need a more holistic and coordinated approach.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of principal supervision, learning organization, and creativity on classroom management effectiveness among civil servant teachers at public elementary schools in Cisauk District. The research method used is quantitative, utilizing SPSS for statistical calculations. The research sample consists of 120 teachers selected through purposive sampling from a population of 221 teachers. Data were collected using questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that: (1) Principal supervision had a direct positive effect on classroom management effectiveness; (2) Learning organization had a direct positive effect on classroom management effectiveness; (3) Creativity had a direct positive effect on classroom management effectiveness; (4) Principal supervision has a direct positive effect on creativity; (5) Learning organization has a direct negative effect on creativity; (6) There is an indirect effect of principal supervision on classroom management effectiveness through creativity; (7) There is no indirect effect of learning organization on classroom management effectiveness through creativity. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of improving the quality of principal supervision, strengthening learning organizations that maintain space for creativity, and encouraging teacher innovation in classroom management. It is recommended that schools conduct regular training and seminars to improve these three variables.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the experiential learning process within the International Young Bodhisattva Program 2025, organized by the International Network of Engaged Buddhists (INEB) at Hongshi Buddhist College, Taiwan. This program is designed to develop a cross-national generation of young people with social awareness, deep spirituality, and practical skills for realizing social transformation. The research approach used was a descriptive qualitative case study method. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and activity documentation. Data analysis was conducted inductively through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that this program has a significant impact on the development of social awareness, spiritual transformation, and cross-cultural collaboration. This program serves as an alternative educational model that integrates spirituality, critical reflection, and social action, in line with the contemporary transformative education paradigm.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate models in terms develop Bongkudai Baru Village by the concept of Community-Based Tourism (CBT). Soft System Methodology (SSM) is used to complete these neccesity. Definitively, SSM can be interpreted as a process to find out what is most important from everyday real life; SSM users do learning that starts from identifying to achieving and optimizing the function of this problem (Checkland and Poulter, 2006 in Sudarsono, 2012). This is qualitative research, with observation, in depth interview and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to obtain primary data. Meanwhile, secondary data obtained through a literature study of sources that have relevance to the focus of the study. The results of the study revealed that the development model is based on activities carried out by the local community with the SSM method, namely: a) understanding and identifying potentials and resources availability; b) enhance community awareness in engaging directly and collaborating towards development process; c) create local institutional instruments; d) formulating actions, implementation, management and control; e) formulate operational regulations and procedures for the implementation of tourism activities; and f) Building and developing businesses in the tourism sector to increase equal benefits and comprehensive manner.
