Abstract

Accurate time estimation is the key to the success of KM Wilis repair activities at PT Industri Kapal Indonesia (Persero). Delays in ship repair activities will be able to cause losses for shipowners in fulfilling shipping transport service schedules. This study aims to develop a reparation plan for KM. Wilis with critical path method in order to obtain the optimal duration of repair work. Based on the KM Wilis repair list, repair activities were identified into smaller components (work breakdown structure) to determine the relationship between preceding and preceded activities. The repair list is also used as a guideline for data analysis, which includes job descriptions, labour, duration, and work volume. Critical Path Method as a time management method is used to identify activities that are on the critical path. KM Wilis repair time estimation obtained a duration of 33 days with critical path activities including tug boat services, docking services, hull cleaning work with water jets, hull cleaning work with scrap, unloading skerm bush pintles and rudder leaf pens, dismantling of the lowered rudder leaf on the dock floor, making new left rudder leaves, reinstalling rudder leaves, undocking services, tug boat services and sea trials.

Abstract

PT XYZ merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang memproduksi botol plastik kemasan. Setiap bulan perusahaan  memproduksi jutaan botol plastik kemasan dengan berbagai bentuk dan warna. Permasalahan yang masih terjadi saat ini adalah ketidak-efektifan kinerja mesin. Perusahaan ini sudah mengimplementasikan Overall Equipment Effectivness, akan tetapi masih sebatas penyajian data saja. Seperti capaian rata rata nilai OEE di tahun 2017 dan 2018 adalah 69.40% yang merupakan nilai OEE dari 10 mesin Extrusion blow molding. Dari 10 mesin tersebut terdapat mesin SMC 2000 DST 3 yang mencapai nilai OEE nya paling rendah di antara yang lainnya, yaitu 57.95%. Di lakukan perhitungan OEE untuk Januari 2019 sampai November  2019  pada mesin SMC 2000 DST 3 dan hasilnya  nilai OEE nya adalah 59.70%. penyebab tidak idealnya nilai OEE mesin SMC 2000 DST 3 ini karena speed reduce lossess. Kemudian di lakukan analisis sebab akibat untuk mengetahui penyebab speed reduce lossess. Melalui brainstorming dengan para pihak terkait, dapat diperoleh potensi akar masalahnya dengan menggunakan Fishbone Diagram. Di ketahui 8 penyebab dari 4 faktor mesin , material , manusia dan metode. Selanjutnya di buat matrix critical to quality untuk menentukan rangking permasalahan. Didapatkanlah permasalahan paling dominan yaitu pendingin cetakan tidak bekerja maksimal karena diameter saluran berkurang tertutup kerak. Untuk itu di susunlah upaya perbaikan dan implementasinya menggunakan metode PDCA dengan mempertimbangkan jadwal produksi perusahaan. Dengan perhitungan diameter saluran telah dibersihkan dan telah kembali ke ukuran semula, maka cetakan tidak lagi mudah panas sehingga speed reduce losses dapat diturunkan dari 27,6% menjadi 6,92% Kata kunci : Overall Equipment Effectivness, Speed Reduce Lossess, Brainstorming, Fishbone Diagram,  PDCA , Critical to Quality.

Abstract

The tourist activities at Blue Beach are divided into 3 categories: swimming, water rides and fishing. The implementation of activities in the water poses a risk to tourists, which has the potential to cause accidents and even fatalities. This is due to the lack of segregation of areas for the implementation of the three beach tourism activities, which makes it difficult for tour managers to monitor tourists. For this reason, tour managers will be equipped with knowledge on the importance of dividing beach tourism activity areas based on bathymetric contours and the use of warning flags as safety signs for beach tourism activities. This socialisation can increase the awareness of tourism managers of potential hazards and disasters in the tourist sites they manage, by completing early warning signs of potential hazards of beach tourism activities. This socialisation is done in partnership with community-based tourism managers, namely Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) of Tanjung Merdeka. The increase in knowledge and understanding of the socialisation material among the participants was 44.9 points. The service activity safety sign products were submitted by the service team in the form of a Blue Beach tourism activity map based on bathymetry contours and beach safety warning flags as occupational safety and health-based signs in the Blue Beach tourism area.

Abstract

The existence of coral reefs in Indonesia ranks first in area and type. The total area of coral reefs owned by Indonesia is 14% of the total area of coral reefs in the world. Coral reefs have an important value in life, both in terms of ecology to promising economic value. Therefore, the Department of Marine Engineering in collaboration with partners of the South Sulawesi Provincial Tourism Office held an activity “Coral Transplantation as an Environmental Care Action for sustainable use”. This activity has the aim of providing an understanding of the importance of knowledge about the economic and environmental benefits of coral reefs as a beach / sun tourism attraction for domestic and foreign tourists to visit the province of South Sulawesi, especially on Badi Island in Pangkep Regency (Pangkajene Islands). Coral reefs that have been damaged require a long time to recover, due to the slow growth rate of corals. Therefore, human intervention through various methods and means becomes indispensable to improve and rehabilitate the condition of coral reefs. One rehabilitation technique that has been widely recognized and applied in various parts of the world is coral transplantation. By using lecture and discussion methods, as well as coral reef rehabilitation efforts through the real action of coral transplantation. The results obtained showed that there was an increase in knowledge before and after the community participated in the activity and the degradation of coral reefs that occurred could be restored through transplantation of 500 donor corals. The conclusion of this activity indicates that the presentation of material in the form of lectures and discussions has increased community knowledge, and the real action of coral reef transplantation can increase coral reef colonies as a sustainable use.

Abstract

The existence of artificial reefs in coastal areas is used to repair damaged habitats by simulating the ecological role of natural coral reefs. The selection of placement locations under the sea is done so that artificial reefs can function properly. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of hydro-oceanographic characteristics on the placement of artificial reefs that have been carried out in several coastal areas in Indonesia. This research is expected to provide an overview of the effectiveness of artificial reef placement towards efforts to repair damage to the coastal ecosystem. Artificial reef data was obtained in coastal waters located in Java and Sulawesi Island. Review of the application of artificial reefs includes placement location, hydro-oceanographic data, and evaluation of the existing condition of artificial reefs after the sinking period. The review of the relationship between the initial data and the existing condition of artificial reefs after the sinking period at the placement site against the hydro-oceanographic characteristics of the respective coastal water location. The success of artificial reef placement as a coastal ecosystem restoration effort is strongly influenced by bathymetry contours, wave height, current speed, and sedimentation.

Abstract

Untuk menjamin keamanan dan keselamatan pelayaran dari bahaya kenavigasian dilakukan penataan alur pelayaran melalui penandaan atau pemasangan Sarana Bantu Navigasi Pelayaran (SBNP). Pemeliharaan SBNP menjadi hal yang penting untuk dilaksanakan secara berkala agar keandalannya dapat terjaga dan tercapai. Tujuan utama pemeliharaan yaitu keamaman dan keselamatan pelayaran bagi kapal-kapal yang berlayar sesuai dengan target keandalan pemerintah sebesar 95%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) Untuk mengukur efektivitas penerapan peraturan Menteri Perhubungan nomor PM 25 Tahun 2011 tentang Sarana Bantu Navigasi Pelayaran dan 2) Menyusun strategi peningkatan kegiatan pemeliharaan SBNP pada Kantor Distrik Navigasi Makassar. Dengan menggunakan metode Analisis Deskriptif Kualitatif dengan cara observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara, disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pemeliharaan SBNP jenis Rambu Suar dan Pelampung Suar belum efektif, sedangkan SBNP jenis Menara Suar sudah efektif. Beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas penyelenggaraan SBNP dalam hal pemeliharaan antara lain belum adanya rencana pemeliharaan secara detail, kekurangan anggaran, serta jumlah dan kompetensi petugas SBNP dan Anak Buah Kapal Negara kenavigasian. Penyusunan strategi peningkatan kegiatan pemeliharaan SBNP dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Analisis SWOT. Hasil analisis menerangkan bahwa pemeliharaan SBNP dapat dioptimalkan dengan membuat detail rencana pemeliharaan SBNP, mekanisme pemeliharaan menggunakan sarana moda transportasi darat, dan optimalisasi pegawai dengan peningkatan kompetensi untuk menjadi petugas SBNP.

Abstract

PT.PAI merupakan sebuah industri padat karya yang bergerak di bidang industri sepatu olahraga. PT.PAI memiliki karakteristik make to order dalam proses produksinya. Pada proses produksi sepatu X ditemukan beberapa pemborosan, sehingga untuk mengetahui dan memperbaikin pemborosan tersebut digunakan Tools Value Stream Mapping dan Proscess Activity Mapping. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan memperbaiki pemborosan (waste) pada proses produksi sepatu X. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan, diperoleh beberapa waste pada proses produksi sepatu X diantaranya yaitu waiting, motion, dan transportation. Dari hasil perbaikan didapat peningkatan aktivitas value added sebesar 44.29%, dan necessary but non value added mengalami penurunan sebesar 44.29%. Untuk persentase waste waiting mengalami penurunan 98.5 %, waste motion tidak mengalami penurunan, dan waste transportation mengalami penurunan sebesar 22%. Usulan perbaikan yang diberikan untuk meminimasi adanya waste waiting dengan cara melakukan 2nd process yang dilakukan oleh vendor, sedangkan untuk waste transportation dilakukan perbaikan dengan cara mengganti alat transportasi dari trolley manual menjadi motor trolley. Kata Kunci: Lean Manufacturing, VSM, Value Stream Mapping, PAM, Process ActivityMapping

Abstract

This research examines coastal erosion in North Galesong, Indonesia, by validating longshore sediment transport (LST) equations and predicting shoreline changes over ten years. To evaluate sediment movement and coastline alterations, it integrates field data on sediment grain size and wave characteristics with numerical modeling techniques, including the CERC equation and finite difference methods. Sieve analysis revealed a range of sediment textures (D50: 0.17–0.65 mm), predominantly medium-fine sand. Wave analysis indicated a dominance of moderate energy southwesterly waves (1.5 m height, 6.39 s period) that aid sediment transport. The empirical LST models, calibrated with local data, closely matched numerical simulations (error <20%), predicting an annual net northward sediment transport of 406,869 m³. Shoreline analysis across 15 segments showed significant spatial variability: severe erosion occurred in Cell 4 (Δy = -0.82 m), while Cell 3 saw accretion (Δy = +0.68 m), influenced by wave direction, sediment supply, and coastal morphology. This study underscores the value of hybrid empirical-numerical methods in data-scarce regions and emphasizes the need for local model calibration to enhance coastal resilience. The findings inform sustainable management practices, promoting adaptive strategies to address sediment imbalances and hydrodynamic changes due to climate factors.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini larutan komposit PVDF/BaTiO3/HAp disintesis menggunakan material Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF), Barium Titanat (BaTiO3) komersial dan Hydroxyapatite (HAp) yang disintesis dari tulang sapi. Selanjutnya larutan komposit disintesis menggunakan metode solution mixing dan dideposisi menggunakan metode spin coating pada subtrat tembaga (Cu), Silikon (Si) dan Platinum (Pt) pada kecepatan 2000 rpm, 3000 rpm dan 4000 rpm sebanyak 2 lapis untuk tiap sampel. Didapatkan bahwa kecepatan spin coating optimum pada 4000 rpm. Ketebalan dan kekasaran lapisan komposit PVDF/BTO/HAp yang dideposisi pada subtrat silicon (Si) dan Pt 2 lapis yaitu pada rentang 1,04 – 2,52 μm dan kekasaran < 0,1 μm. Dengan bertambahnya komposisi hydroxyapatite pada lapisan komposit PVDF/BTO/HAp dengan kecepatan spin coating 4000 rpm menyebabkan nilai impedasi, konstanta dielektrik dan dielectric loss (tg δ) dengan nilai konstanta dielektrik 15(100 Hz) pada komposisi komposit 35,83 Wt%:35,83 Wt%:28,34 Wt% dan 9 (100 Hz) pada komposisi 40 Wt%:40 Wt%: 20 Wt%, serta nilai dielectric loss (tg δ) 0,15 (100 Hz) dan 0,5 (100 Hz)  pada komposisi 35,83 Wt%:35,83 Wt%:28,34 Wt%. Nilai konstanta dielektrik dari lapisan komposit PVDF/BTO/HAp mengalami kenaikan dengan bertambahnya komposisi hydroxyapatite dari 20Wt% ke 28,34Wt% pada frekuensi rendah di rentang 10 – 1k Hz tetapi menurun pada frekuensi rendah direntang 10 – 100 Hz.
