Abstract

Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) occurs that almost all countries around the world have amajor impact on almost all aspects of both economic, social, cultural, and even education.Almost all levels of education that were originally done in schools are now directed online.This article aims to explain how effective online learning of 1st graders of Tlogomulyo stateelementary school during a pandemic. The data analysis used in this study is a datacollection, this study uses instruments in the form of observations with the number ofstudents as many as 17 students in grade 1 consisting of 11 men and 6 women. The resultsof the study, showed that Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) has an impact on theimplementation of online learning in the 1st graders of Tlogomulyo state elementaryschool, which is less effective in the learning process so there needs to be cooperationbetween schools and parents of students in learning at home.

Abstract

In the advance of the times in the era of revolution in the 4.0 era was one of the greatestchallenges facing teachers in Indonesia. Because the quality of education has become arefusal to measure the success of the younger generation in the face of the era of revolution4.0. A teacher in this age must embrace technology, for a teacher who is devoid or less ofknowledge of technology cannot instil in his students the critical power to become arevolutionary human being. This paper discusses the literature of technology utilization ineducation. The teacher and the pupil have the ability and knowledge in the field ofinformation technology. The various technological tools teachers use in school visits amongothers, LCDs, laptops, computers and so on. To be a teacher with knowledge of technologymust also be supported by the government through training, socialization, seminars.

Abstract

Learning a language is not only being able to communicate with the language, but alsoknowing and understanding the meaning contained in the spoken word or expression. Inlearning languages, especially English, most students have difficulty in speaking.Difficulty speaking is usually caused by difficulty expressing ideas verbally, limitedvocabulary, limited grammatical skills so that it is difficult to speak with the correct rules,limited ability to pronounce words (pronounciation), making it difficult to pronounce thewords spoken correctly, lack of courage to speak for fear of being wrong. To facilitatespeaking skills, there are several effective ways to try, including: increase vocabulary(vocabulary), reading aloud. As an English teacher, it is very important to know thelearning strategies to make the learning environment more enjoyable. That is whyteachers who teach English need several strategies in the teaching and learning process,such as using flash card media to introduce vocabulary and pronunciation.

Abstract

Because the covid-19, learning that was originally at school has now become home throughthe online system. Online learning has various limitations, for example, the absence ofgadget facilities (cell phones and laptops), low understanding of digital media and limitedsignal. Students who usually study in class and are explained directly to the teacher, nowthe teacher only gives reading explanations and gives assignments, this makes studentsmore confused because there is no clear explanation but are forced to understand by doingassignments. This study uses descriptive qualitative research that describes tutoringservices in reducing difficulties in student learning during the COVID-19 period. Studentsalways ask to be helped with assignments. Students need assistance in learning, so thatthe material can be easily understood optimally.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of parental awareness of children'sprose literacy in Semampiran Hamlet, Ketundan Village, Pakis District, MagelangRegency. This study uses a survey methodology. The data collection technique is thequestionnaire value given by the researcher to the research subject. Based on the resultsof the data, it can be concluded that students have problems in their prose literacy. Parentsdo not fully support students in developing their literacy with the lack of storytellingmentoring activities. Children also experience limited and delayed reading activities. As aresult, students have low reading comprehension and need time to understand a story text.

Abstract

Learning Technology was born from the reality of education and the audio-visualcommunication movement. Learning Technology was originally seen as equipmenttechnology, which was related to the use of equipment, media and means to achieve educational goals or in other words teaching with audio-visual aids. One of the audiovisual-based teaching materials is video. Indonesian Language and Literature subjects are oriented towards the nature of learning Language and Literature which states thatlearning Indonesian is learning to use a good and correct language.This research ismotivated by the problems that occur in learning Indonesian starting from the low level ofconcentration of students, then the difficulty of students in speaking in Indonesian, thedifficulty of students in reading, and then the difficulty of students in writing. This studyaims to determine the effect of using video media on learning outcomes in Indonesianlanguage learning. The attention function of video media can attract attention and directstudents' concentration on video material and the affective function of video media is ableto arouse the emotions and attitudes of the audience. The results of using this video mediain learning are to improve students' abilities in developing students' abilities in usingIndonesian.

Abstract

Education is a conscious and planned effort made to create a learning atmosphere andlearning process to provide a learning experience for students. This experience consists of3 aspects, namely cognitive, affective and psychomotor. This research was motivated bythe impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, which impacted the health and economic sectorsand the education sector. Therefore, the learning process for primary school education iscurrently carried out remotely or online by utilizing learning media. This research isqualitative research with a case study type. The data sources were obtained from 2research samples: the Sidorejo State Elementary School (village) and the Tempurejo 1State Primary School (urban) from the Magelang area, which learned in the epidemic era.The technique used is the interview. The results showed that elementary schools locatedin cities were easier to carry out bold learning. In contrast, in village schools, the practicallearning process was carried out offline, which could help students in the learning process.There were several obstacles such as unstable internet networks or even the unavailabilityof mobile phones to implement teaching-learning boldly.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the use of the RERIRO method can improvereading and writing skills in Slow Learners at SD N Keditan. This research was carriedout in one of the classes of SD N Keditan, namely class IV and apply experiments usingthepaper roll game Researcher's suggested that the RERIRO method can be used inteaching to improve reading and writing skills in children with slow learner. The resultsof the study indicate that there is an increase in the results of children in reading andwriting.Elementary school teachers to using the RERIRO method as a bridge in teachingreading and writing, especially in Indonesian subjects.It can make students moreinterested in learning activities that are being carried out.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the influence of the use of experiential learning modelsas a means of increasing student’s knowledge in the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses ClassAction Research (PTK) with a quantitative approach. The subjects in the study were 5th graderstotaling 22 children. But the authors only sampled 10 children due to the current pandemicsituation, which does not allow the authors to gather all the children in one class. Authors useessay tests to measure students' abilities. The average Cycle 1 score that students get is 71.5 andthe average Cycle 2 score that students get is 86.5. There is a significant increase in value afterand before the study using experiential learning models. The results of this study show that theExperiential Learning model has a positive effect on student’s knowledge.

Abstract

Learning the language is very important, including learning English. However, based onresearch conducted by EF World Institute of Education English First announced the firstcomprehensive report, the on index English proficiency index in 44 English proficiencycountries in Indonesia is very low in the 34th place. One of the biggest factors in Englishlearning is that students need vocabulary mastery. In learning English in elementaryschool the understanding of English vocabulary is still difficult because teachers deliverlearning only by lecture methods, let alone the use of very minimal media, so because ofthat method teaching and learning process makes the students feel boring because itfeels monotonous. One way to make English learning effective is to use a learning modelthat can provide meaning and fun for students. Team Game Tournament learning modelbased on Vocabulary Card Media is expected to make students active and excited so thatstudents can easily understand the material studied.
