Abstract

This study explores the relationship between transformational leadership style and employee performance, incorporating the mediating variable of work engagement. The intense competition in the industry requires companies to have solid business strategies and quality human resources (HR) to enhance employee performance. HR, being the core of company operations, requires continuous development through training to achieve the desired performance. Previous research indicates that employee performance can be influenced by various factors, including leadership style, compensation, motivation, and job satisfaction. Specifically, the transformational leadership style is considered to enhance performance by inspiring employees through a clear vision and proactive support. However, previous research has shown mixed results, with some studies finding significant positive effects, while others find no significant impact. Additionally, this study integrates work engagement as a mediating variable, which is a positive state of employees who are fully engaged and enthusiastic about their work. Past research shows that work engagement has a significant influence on performance improvement. In an effort to fill the gaps from previous research, this study aims to delve deeper into how transformational leadership style affects employee performance, considering the role of work engagement. It is crucial to verify whether integrating these factors can effectively enhance performance in a competitive context, as well as provide insights for future HR development strategy improvements.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of job description and workload on employee performance in a pharmaceutical company in Cikarang. The study emphasizes the importance of human resources in an organization and how a workload that does not align with the job description can affect employee satisfaction and performance. Initial observations conducted in one of the pharmaceutical company's departments in Cikarang indicate that the workload does not match the job description, leading to dissatisfaction and suboptimal performance. Job description is described as a crucial factor in an organization to acquire quality and productive employees. An imbalanced workload can result in fatigue and various negative impacts on employees. Employee performance is interpreted as the qualitative and quantitative output achieved by an employee in line with their responsibilities. Employee performance is influenced by the job description and workload they receive. The research methodology employed is quantitative, utilizing a questionnaire for data collection. The analysis is conducted using Algorithm R Square and Bootstrapping Path Coefficients analysis in SmartPLS. The implications of the research include steps to enhance the quality of job descriptions and manage workloads, along with recommendations for workload equalization and continuous monitoring.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of competitive strategy and green supply chain management (GSCM) in the performance of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in West Java. Using a sample of 87 MSMEs, data was collected through questionnaires distributed to various MSMEs in the West Java region, using a Likert scale for response evaluation. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through the Smart PLS program.The results of this study indicate that both competitive strategy and GSCM have a significant influence on MSME performance. Competitive strategy, which includes product differentiation, cost leadership, and market focus, has improved the operational efficiency, market responsiveness, and competitive advantage of MSMEs. Meanwhile, the implementation of GSCM, which emphasizes environmentally friendly operations and sustainable resource management, not only improves compliance with environmental regulations but also strengthens the reputation and legitimacy of MSMEs in the eyes of stakeholders and consumers. These findings confirm the importance of adopting and integrating innovative and sustainable business practices to improve MSME performance. Consequently, this study suggests the need for more strategic policy interventions and support for MSMEs to develop their capacity in competitive strategy and GSCM, thereby strengthening their position in the market and their contribution to the regional economy and environmental sustainability

Abstract

This study examines the influence of social media balance and family support on the balance of female workers in the Bekasi area. The population in this study involved women who work in various sectors and are active on social media. A total of 96 respondents were selected through random sampling method from various social media user community groups. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed online, relying on a Likert scale to assess respondents' perceptions. Analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the Smart PLS program. Results show that social media use balance and family support have a significant influence on female workers' work-life balance. The findings highlight the importance of effective time management on social media platforms and the role of family support as key factors in achieving balance between work demands and domestic responsibilities. This research provides important insights for companies, HR practitioners, and policy makers to develop initiatives and programs that support the well-being of female workers, especially in the context of increased pressure from social media and the need for ongoing family support

Abstract

Turnover intention pada dasarnya adalah sama dengan keinginan berpindah karyawan dari satu tempat ke tempat kerja yang lainnya. Turnover intention dapat menjadi masalah yang serius bagi sebuah perusahaan yaitu meningkatnya biaya pengeluaran untuk penerimaan tenaga kerja baru, seleksi, pelatihan serta terhambatnya target yang seharusnya dicapai oleh perusahaan. Peningkatan turnover intention pada penelitian ini difokuskan pada PT. PND sebagai objek penelitian, kerena setiap tahun turnover intention mengalami peningkatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengujiapakah terdapat pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, kepuasan kerja dan komitmen organisasi terhadap turnover itention karyawan PT. PND . Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah nonprobability sampling yaitu dengan metode sampling jenuh. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan bantuan program statistik SPSS version 22 for windows (Statistical Package For Social Sciences). Hasil dari penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh negatif dan signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dengan turnover intention karyawan, terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kepuasan kerja dengan turnover intention karyawan, terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara komitmen organisasi dengan turnover intention karyawan.

Abstract

This study aims to prove that knowledge management acts as a mediator between talent management and employee performance. The population of this research is the entire employee population of the firm services based in Bekasi, and there were 70 people who responded to the survey. The method for data collection that was used was a questionnaire submitted through a Google form, and the data were analyzed with smart PLS. The findings of this research reveal that talent management has an influence on employee performance and that knowledge management has the ability to act as a mediator between the influence of talent management and the influence it has on employee performance. The talent of management has become a determining factor in the success of businesses and the power of resources. Organizations are being put to the test to see how effectively they manage potential great people. Knowledge Management is able to develop expertise and motivation at work, which in turn pushes performance enhancement for individuals and companies. Every worker needs to have their own understanding of the company's knowledge because very bad knowledge is limiting and will keep the company from growing. The study thus still has drawbacks, one of which is that the data collecting instrument employs a questionnaire, which enables data to be acquired without being able to extract the information needed in a way that is comprehensive and in-depth.

Abstract

Kinerja karyawan merupakan sikap nyata yang ditunjukan oleh karyawan sebagai prestasi kerja yang dihasilkan sesuai dengan perannya dalam perusahaan. Kinerja yang tinggi pada karyawan akan mengurangi angka absensi karna malas, dan membuat pekerjaan yang diberikan ataupun ditugaskan kepadanya akan lebih maksimal. Responden penelitian ini adalah semua karyawan di CV. Tanjidor. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 84 responden. Teknik analisis penelitian ini menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan program Lisrel 8.80. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa disiplin kerja dan komunikasi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dan budaya organisasi tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh organizational support terhadap inovasi karyawan dengan employee engagement sebagai variabel mediasi pada karyawan perusahaan manufaktur di Bekasi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 70 responden yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling, dengan kriteria karyawan tetap atau kontrak yang telah bekerja minimal satu tahun. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner tertutup menggunakan skala Likert lima poin dan dianalisis dengan SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa organizational support berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap employee engagement dan inovasi karyawan. Employee engagement juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap inovasi karyawan. Selain itu, employee engagement terbukti mampu memediasi secara signifikan pengaruh organizational support terhadap inovasi karyawan. Nilai R Square menunjukkan bahwa model memiliki kemampuan penjelasan yang kuat. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa dukungan organisasi dan keterikatan karyawan merupakan faktor penting dalam mendorong inovasi karyawan di perusahaan manufaktur.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh budaya digital terhadap workforce agility dengan adaptability sebagai variabel mediasi pada karyawan perusahaan manufaktur di Bekasi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei. Sampel berjumlah 75 responden yang dipilih menggunakan purposive sampling dengan kriteria karyawan telah bekerja minimal satu tahun. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner elektronik dengan skala Likert lima poin dan dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling berbasis SmartPLS 4.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya digital berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap adaptability dan workforce agility. Adaptability juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap workforce agility. Selain itu, adaptability terbukti mampu memediasi secara signifikan pengaruh budaya digital terhadap workforce agility. Nilai R Square menunjukkan bahwa model memiliki kemampuan penjelasan yang kuat, terutama pada workforce agility. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa penguatan budaya digital yang disertai peningkatan adaptability dapat mendukung terciptanya tenaga kerja yang lebih agile dalam menghadapi dinamika transformasi digital di sektor manufaktur.

Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 70 responden yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling, dengan kriteria telah bekerja minimal satu tahun. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner elektronik menggunakan skala Likert lima poin dan dianalisis dengan Structural Equation Modeling berbasis SmartPLS 4.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa knowledge sharing berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap digital competency dan kompetensi inovasi. Digital competency juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kompetensi inovasi. Selain itu, digital competency terbukti mampu memediasi secara signifikan pengaruh knowledge sharing terhadap kompetensi inovasi. Nilai R Square menunjukkan bahwa model memiliki kemampuan penjelasan yang kuat. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa penguatan budaya berbagi pengetahuan yang didukung kompetensi digital penting untuk meningkatkan kompetensi inovasi karyawan di era transformasi digital.
