Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hasil belajar siswa yang memiliki minat belajar rendah dan minat belajar tinggi serta interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan tingkat minat belajar siswa dalam mempengaruhi hasil belajar IPA siswa yang di ajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group invrestigation menggunakan Mind Map dan pembelajaran group investigasi concept map .Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen.Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V semester ganjil SDN Sei kamah II Tahun pelajaran 2021/2022 yang terdiri dari 4 kelas berjumlah 120 orang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara cluster random sampling .Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari tes hasil belajar dan lembar observasi minat belajar siswa.Data dalam penelitian ini di analisis dengan menggunakan ANAVA dua jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang memiliki minat belajar rendah dan minat belajar tinggi yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group invrestigation menggunakan Mind Map di bandingkan dengan siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran group investigasi concept map  dan terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group invrestigation menggunakan Mind Map dan tingkat minat belajar dalam mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Kata Kunci : Group Investigation, Mind Map, minat belajar, hasil belajar Abstrak: This study aims to identify the learning outcomes of students who have low learning interest and high learning interest as well as the interaction between learning models and students' interest levels in influencing students' science learning outcomes who are taught with Group Investigation type cooperative learning models using Mind Maps and concept mapping learning. This research is a quasi-experimental research. The population of this research is all students of class V odd semester of Sei Kamah II Elementary School in the academic year 2021/2022 which consists of 4 classes totaling 120 people. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling. The instruments used consisted of learning outcomes tests and student learning interest observation sheets. The data in this study were analyzed using two-way ANAVA. The results showed that there were differences in science learning outcomes between students who had low interest in learning and high interest in learning who used the Group Investigation cooperative learning model using a Mind Map compared to students who used the concept mapping  learning model and there was an interaction between the Group Investigation learning model using a Mind Map. and the level of interest in learning in influencing student learning outcomes. Keyword: Group Investigation, Mind Map, Interest, and Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

Sistem pendidikan terbuka dan jarak jauh merupakan sistem pendidikan yang sangat erat kaitannya dalam penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam memfasilitasi keterlibatan  mahasiswa dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Guru Pintar Online (GPO) merupakan salah satu portal di dalam situs resmi Universitas Terbuka  yang dikembangkan sebagai bentuk kontribusi dan dedikasi Universitas Terbuka pada dunia pendidikan dan pengembangan kompetensi guru berkelanjutan. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini  adalah untuk menganalisis dan mengevaluasai implikasi dari website GPO, serta mendapat gambaran website yang ideal bagi pengembangan kompetensi guru dalam sistem pendidikan jarak jauh. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode asosiatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini di ikuti oleh 526 responden yang tersebar dari 11 program studi yang ada di lingkungan Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Terbuka. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya unsur kegunaan, kualitas informasi dan kualitas interkasi layanan dalam pengembangan website. Dalam pendidikan jarak jauh website pembelajaran diperlukan untuk memfasilitasi guru atau calon guru dalam pengembangan komptensi secara berkelanjutan. Website pembelajaran hendaknya menampilkan desain tampilan yang sesuai dengan perkembangan jaman, sistematik, menarik, dan bermanfaat dalam pengembangan kompetensi penggunanya.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a reflective learning program that can be applied to the online tutorial in the Biology Education Department which can improve the reflective thinking skills of Biology Education students. The study was conducted in three years with using the research and development (R & D) which adapts the 4 D model from Thiagarajan et al. The research steps carried out preliminary studies, program design, program development -which includes program trials and program revisions-, and program implementation. What will be discussed in this paper is limited to how the program development process goes from the start until the right prototype is obtained to help students hone their reflective thinking skills. Reflective learning programs in online tutorials require several stages to arrive at the most appropriate prototype that is able to increase student participation in reflection which has the potential to increase reflective thinking skills. After going through several stages of testing and revising the placement of the most appropriate reflection activities, reflection activities are given every two sessions, namely in the second, fourth and sixth sessions

Abstract

This study aims to determine the storage of biomass in the mangrove ecosystem of Jakarta Bay compared to Ambon Bay. This research used descriptive quantitative method. Sampling technique using the Point Center Quarter Method (PCQM) which was measured around the chest height of mangrove trees (DBH). Data analysis was performed using an allometric equation where each mangrove plant has a specific gravity. The results of this study indicated that the composition of mangrove species in Ambon Bay consists of 6 mangrove species, namely: Bruguiera cylindrica (L.) Bl, Rhizophora apiculata Bl, Sonneratia alba Smith, Aegiceras corniculatum (L.) Blanco, Avicennia officinalis L, Ceriops tagal. In the ecosystem, Rhizophora apiculata Bl and Sonneratia alba Smith had higher biomass values compared to the other four species. Meanwhile, in Jakarta Bay, the composition of mangrove plants is dominated by Sonneratia alba Smith. The subsurface biomass in the Jakarta Bay and Ambon region is lower than the aboveground biomass.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of character education in inclusive schools at SDN Cisarua, Sukabumi City. The aspects observed in the implementation of character education include learning, example, strengthening, and habituation. This is qualitative research with a descriptive qualitative research design. The subjects of this research included school principals, class teachers, and students with special needs (ABK). The data collection techniques used in this research are interviews, observation, and documentation studies. This research data was analyzed using data reduction steps, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity checking technique using triangulation of techniques and sources the results of the research show that the principal’s policy and the role of the class teacher have been instilled in students in their class, especially those with special needs, through learning, example, strengthening, and habituation. In implementing learning, teachers emphasize instilling the character values of tolerance and caring. The teacher does this in learning by instilling concepts through explanations, discussing moral issues, stories, active learning, and collaborative methods. Apart from that, teachers also set examples in attitudes and actions, give awards, provide individual assistance, and familiarize students with mingling with friends with special needs, both in the classroom and outside the classroom.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti pengaruh hasil belajar IPA dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan video dengan pictorial riddIe ditinjau dari kemandirian belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan rancangan desain Treatment by level 2x2. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, terdapat pengaruh metode pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan video terhadap hasil belajar IPA pada peserta didik kelas V di Wilayah I Kecamatan Kalideres, terdapat pengaruh langsung kemandirian belajar peserta didik terhadap hasil belajar IPA pada peserta didik keIas V di WiIayah I Kecamatan Kalideres, terdapat pengaruh langsung interaksi metode pembeiajaran inkuiri terbimbing dan kemandirian beiajar peserta didik secara bersama-sama terhadap hasilbelajar IPA pada peserta didik keilas V di Wiiayah I Kecamatan Kaiideres, terdapat pengaruh hasil belajar IPA pada peserta didik dengan kemandirian rendah yang diajar dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan video lebih tinggi daripada dengan pictorial riddle, terdapat interaksi metode pembelajaran inkuri terbimbing dengan kemandirian belajar peserta didik terhadap hasil belajar IPA pada peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri di wiIayah I Kecamatan Kalideres. Abstract

As a prominent distance education institution, Universitas Terbuka (UT) plays a vital role in enhancing educational equity for Indonesian citizens by offering flexible and cost-effective learning opportunities. However, the exposure of UT, particularly the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training (FKIP), requires further enhancement. The phenomenon that occurs must be addressed by choosing a marketing strategy that targets various groups, particularly millennials. The purpose of this study is to investigate the most compatible marketing strategy for faculty in distance education institutions. In the initial year of this study, two key questions are explored: First, the optimal strategy for UT, specifically FKIP, to market its study program, and second, the most effective approach to diversify and promote UT’s study programs. Employing qualitative research, data was collected from 131 respondents and 80 students across four regional offices, supplemented by insights from marketing experts. The findings reveal the necessity for a balanced approach incorporating both conventional and digital marketing strategies. While the conventional strategy emerged as more effective based on the questionnaire and FGD results, the research highlighted the importance of developing a digital marketing strategy aligned with UT’s identity as a cyber university.

Abstract

This study investigates tutor-student interaction patterns in online learning environments, aiming to unveil effective strategies for optimising the online educational experience. Guided by a qualitative approach employing a case study design, this study delves into the interaction and written communication dynamics among 65 students and their tutors participating in four-course programs within the biology education study program. The observational and analytical phases focused on unravelling the nuances of online interactions. Subsequently, follow-up interviews were conducted to glean deeper insights and understanding into the observed patterns of communication and engagement between students and tutors. Through the qualitative analysis procedure, five distinct interaction patterns emerged from the analysis, ranging from tutor-initiated questions to collaborative exchanges among students and tutors. Each pattern offers unique insights into fostering engagement, feedback, and peer-to-peer learning dynamics. As online education continues to evolve, understanding and leveraging these identified tutor-student interaction patterns provide valuable insights for educators and instructional designers. Recognising the diverse ways in which interactions unfold is instrumental in enhancing the quality and effectiveness of online learning, fostering student engagement, and achieving the overarching goals of online education.

Abstract

The problem in class V of SDN Tanggungan is the low listening skills of the participants or only twelve students (48%) are complete. This study aims to describe the development of appropriate Audio-Visual Media (valid, practical, and effective) on the subtheme of Humans and the Environment to improve the skills of listening to factual problems of grade V elementary school students. The type of research is research and development (R&D) with the Borg & Gall development model. The subject of the study was grade V students of SDN Tanggungan which totaled thirty. The instruments used were validation sheets, observation sheets, questionnaire sheets, and listening skill test sheets. Data analysis refers to the criteria of validity, practicality and effectiveness. Based on the results of the research and discussion, the following were obtained: (1) The results of the validation of Audio-Visual Media experts obtained a score of 88.75% and were within the criteria of being very valid; (2) The results of observation of the implementation of learning and the questionnaire of students' responses to Audio-Visual Media obtained scores of 89.5% and 97.36% respectively and were in the good and very good criteria; and (3) The results of the pretest and posttest scores after the implementation of learning using Audio-Visual Media obtained  a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.00 < 0.05, so that there was a difference in students' listening skills between the experimental and control classes.
