Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of competence, professionalism and independence of the government's internal supervisory apparatus (APIP) on the quality of examinations at the East Java Regional Supervision Inspectorate. The research shows that there are various factors that can affect the quality of internal audits in their implementation. A common problem in this study is the existence of audit findings that were not detected by APIP as an internal auditor, but were found by an external auditor, the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK). This study uses a quantitative approach. The population of the study was 40 pariks / auditors at the Regional Supervision Inspectorate of the Regional Police of East Java. Sampling using simple random sampling method. The research data were analyzed using multiple regression method with the help of SPSS. The results of this study found that partially and simultaneously the variables of competence, independence and professionalism of auditors had a positive and significant effect on audit quality

Abstract

Application of Nano Meniran Extract Technology in Feed and Management Practices to Enhance Economic Independence of Goat and Sheep Farmers in Sepande Village, Sidoarjo Abstract The purpose of this program is to increase the productivity of goats and sheep through the application of complete feed technology with the addition of nanoparticle feed additive of meniran extract (Phyllanthus niruri). The main problem faced by farmers in Sepande Village is the low productivity of livestock due to traditional feed management and lack of understanding of the right feed ration. The methods used in this program include counseling, training, and evaluation using nanoparticle-based complete feed technology. The results obtained showed a more specific increase in the daily weight of goats and sheep, from 0.3 kg/day to 0.5 kg/day, which showed an increase of 66.7%. The post-test evaluation also revealed that 90% of farmers stated that they would continue using this technology. The increase in livestock productivity has a direct impact on increasing farmers' income by up to 30%. This program contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 2 (No Hunger) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), by supporting food security and inclusive economic growth in the livestock sector. Abstract

The increase in the minimum wage for Sidoarjo Regency from 2013 to 2023 shows a sharp increase. This makes open unemployment even higher and places Sidoarjo Regency in first place with the highest number of unemployed in East Java. If the minimum wage in Sidoarjo Regency experiences a very significant increase in the following years, more companies will go bankrupt or even move outside Sidoarjo Regency to prevent greater losses, resulting in more unemployment in Sidoarjo Regency. This research aims to determine the impact of forecasting increases in the minimum wage on open unemployment in Sidoarjo Regency every year 2024 to 2030. This research uses the ARIMA (0,1,0) model, which is then analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 25 version. The research results show that open unemployment in Sidoarjo Regency over the next 6 (six) years is likely to increase by 0.43% every year. This happens because of the increase in the minimum wage which tends to get higher every year.

Abstract

AbstractGeneral background: Small-scale poultry farming in rural Indonesia faces challenges of low productivity and environmental pollution due to traditional feeding practices. Specific background: In Sepande Village, Sidoarjo, Muscovy duck (Cairina moschata) farmers struggle with suboptimal growth performance and unpleasant waste odor, exacerbated by high feed costs. Knowledge gap: While local feed resources and herbal additives have been studied, the integration of nano herbal technology into fermented feed for Muscovy ducks has not been explored. Aims: This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of nano-extract meniran (Phyllanthus niruri) as a feed additive in fermented pellet feed to enhance productivity and reduce waste odor. Results: Application of 1–3% nano meniran in duck feed led to a 50% increase in body weight (from 1.5 kg to 2.27–3.0 kg within three months), a 30% increase in farmer income, and a 93.75% improvement in regular odor-control practices, while significantly reducing waste odor intensity. Novelty: This is the first integration of nanotechnology-based herbal additives with fermented local feed formulations for Muscovy ducks. Implications: The innovation supports food security, farmer welfare, and sustainable livestock management, offering an eco-friendly model for poultry production in developing regions. Highlight: Nano meniran feed boosts duck growth by up to 50%. Odor reduction improves farm environment and sustainability. Farmers’ income increases by around 30%. Abstract
