Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between participatory budgeting and managerial performance, with a focus on the mediating role of goal commitment. Utilizing purposive sampling, data was collected from 65 respondents via Google Forms and analyzed using the Outer Model to assess data validity and reliability. Subsequently, the Inner Model was employed to test hypotheses through SmartPLS 3.0. Results indicate a significant influence of participatory budgeting on both managerial performance and goal commitment. However, goal commitment was found to have no direct impact on managerial performance, and it did not mediate the relationship between participatory budgeting and managerial performance. This research underscores the importance of participatory budgeting in enhancing managerial performance while highlighting the need for further exploration of the mechanisms underlying this relationship. Highlights: Participatory budgeting's significant influence: This study uncovers the substantial impact of participatory budgeting on managerial performance. Role of goal commitment: It examines the role of goal commitment as a mediating factor in the participatory budgeting and managerial performance relationship. Abstract

This study examines the impact of green accounting and company characteristics on financial performance through environmental disclosure for manufacturing and consumer goods companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2017-2020. Using a sample of 17 companies selected via purposive sampling, secondary data were analyzed with Partial Least Square (PLS). The results indicate that green accounting and company characteristics positively influence environmental disclosure, but do not affect financial performance through it. Additionally, environmental disclosure does not impact financial performance. These findings suggest that while environmental reporting is enhanced by green accounting and company traits, it does not directly improve financial outcomes. Highlight: Green accounting and company traits boost environmental disclosure. Environmental disclosure doesn’t affect financial performance. Abstract

This study investigates the impact of financial literacy, financial inclusion, and the ability to prepare financial statements on the performance of MSMEs in Sidoarjo. Using a quantitative approach and multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS software, data were collected via questionnaires from 89 MSME owners in the food processing sector. The findings reveal that financial literacy and financial inclusion significantly enhance MSME performance, while the ability to prepare financial statements enables better financial control and decision-making. These results highlight the importance of improving financial skills and inclusion through targeted training and support programs to foster MSME growth. Abstract

This study evaluates PT Berkah Berabu Limpah's performance using the Balanced Scorecard method. It collects qualitative data from primary and secondary sources and analyzes it across Financial, Customer, Internal Business Process, and Learning and Growth perspectives. Results indicate good overall performance but suggest improvements in customer focus and employee training for enhanced competitiveness. Implementing Balanced Scorecard comprehensively is recommended for better performance management. This research contributes to understanding performance evaluation methods for strategic decision-making. Abstract

This quantitative study investigates the impact of marketing strategy and consumer satisfaction on sales growth in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) within the culinary sector of Krembung District, Sidoarjo Regency. Data collected from 100 MSME owners via questionnaire surveys using Google Forms reveals significant positive effects of both marketing strategy (Tcount = 3.568, p = 0.001) and consumer satisfaction (Tcount = 2.325, p = 0.022) on increasing sales. The findings highlight the critical role of strategic marketing planning and customer satisfaction in enhancing business performance and competitiveness, underscoring the need for MSMEs to prioritize these factors to achieve sustainable growth and profitability in competitive markets. Abstract

General background: Waste management in hospitals is crucial due to its environmental impact. Specific background: RSU Al Islam HM Mawardi Krian struggles with waste management while adhering to PSAP No. 1 of 2010 and maintaining efficiency. Knowledge gap: Limited research exists on applying environmental management accounting and operational strategies for hospital waste management in line with accounting standards. Aims: This study analyzes the impact of environmental management accounting and strategies on waste management costs at RSU Al Islam HM Mawardi Krian, assessing compliance with PSAP standards. Results: The hospital has implemented processes of identification, recognition, measurement, recording, presentation, and disclosure per PSAP No. 1 of 2010, managing waste effectively and incurring environmental costs. Novelty: Offers insights into aligning hospital environmental cost management with government standards. Implications: Structured environmental accounting and strategies can enhance waste management, improve hospital reputation, ensure regulatory compliance, and potentially increase revenue. Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the best financial ratio predictors on stock prices of companies indexed on IDXHIDIV20 of Indonesian Stock Exchange for the 2018-2020 Period. This research used total population sampling as sampling method. The sample data were taken from 20 companies indexed on IDXHIDIV20 of Indonesian Stock Exchange for the 2018-2020 period. This research used secondary data. The analysis method in this research comprised best-subset selection for selecting the best financial ratio predictors till panel data regression to analyze the selected predictors supported by RStudio program. The results of this research show Earning Per Share (EPS) and Price to Earnings Ratio (PER) are selected as the best financial ratio predictors according to best-subset selection using Bayesian Information Criterion (BIC). Regarding the results of partial significance test, EPS positively influences stock prices and PER positively influences stock prices of companies indexed on IDXHIDIV20 of Indonesian Stock Exchange for the 2018-2020 Period.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of dividend policy on financial performance with capital structure as an intervening variable. This study uses quantitative methods with secondary data as a data source. In this study the population data used are all pharmaceutical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The observation period was from the 2016-2020 period. In this study, non-probability sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling. There are 8 pharmaceutical companies used as samples in this study. The data analysis technique used in this research is Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Abstract

This At the end of 2019 in December in Wuhan, China, the world was stirred up and people were made restless by the corona virus (Covid-19) which had an impact on all sectors of human life, not to mention the world of education. Media information promotion facilities used at SMA Hang Tuah 2 in carrying out the process of accepting new students (PPDB) in order to build a brand image by using the Digital Marketing system. The type of research that will be used is associative quantitative research, namely research that is asking for the relationship between two or more variables. This study aims to determine the influence of variables, namely the variable (X) promotional media and brand image on (Y) the decision to choose Hang Tuah 2 High School Sidoarjo. The data obtained were analyzed using SMART-PLS. Promotional media has no significant effect on election decisions. Brand Image has a significant influence on election decisions. Promotional media has no significant effect on digital marketing. Brand Image has a significant influence on digital marketing. Digital Marketing has a significant influence on election decisions. Promotional media does not have a significant influence on the selection decision through digital marketing as an intervening variable. Brand Image does not have a significant influence on election decisions through digital marketing as an intervening variable. Word of mouth is the most powerful promotional technique in this study, the role of people is very important in promoting services. Customers are very close to service delivery.

Abstract

This study investigates the causes of defects in the production line of inlay soles in footwear manufacturing, focusing on the impact of malfunctioning machine spare parts. Using Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), critical machines—splitting, cutting, and moulding—are identified, along with their associated spare parts influencing defect occurrence. Process FMEA (PFMEA) prioritizes actions based on discussions with maintenance managers and quality staff. Results highlight top spare parts affecting defects, such as Fertinak, grinding stone, and V-belt for the splitting machine; hydraulic motor, hydraulic seal, and hydraulic filter for the cutting machine; and Solid State Relay, Thermocouple, and Heater for the moulding machine. These findings underscore the importance of maintaining machine performance and addressing spare part malfunctions to enhance product quality and operational efficiency in footwear manufacturing, providing actionable insights for industry practitioners. Hightligh: Critical Machines Identified: Splitting, cutting, and moulding machines analyzed for defect occurrence. Spare Parts Influence: Fertinak, Solid State Relay impact defect occurrence. Practical Industry Insights: Strategies for improving product quality and efficiency highlighted.
