Abstract

Permasalahan utama dalam pengembangan sistem berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) terletak pada aspek keamanan data selama proses komunikasi antara perangkat IoT dan web server. Sistem pintar yang melakukan pertukaran data transaksi dan identitas pengguna memerlukan mekanisme integrasi yang aman agar informasi tidak disalahgunakan. Kelemahan pada komunikasi data berpotensi menimbulkan berbagai ancaman keamanan, seperti serangan man-in-the-middle, pencurian identitas, serta manipulasi data transaksi. Penelitian ini mengusulkan perancangan model keamanan komunikasi berbasis HTTP Request yang dilengkapi mekanisme autentikasi menggunakan JSON Web Token (JWT). JWT dipilih karena bersifat ringan, sesuai untuk perangkat IoT dengan keterbatasan sumber daya, serta mampu menjamin integritas data melalui penggunaan tanda tangan digital. Pendekatan ini memungkinkan setiap pertukaran data antara perangkat IoT dan server tervalidasi secara aman, sehingga risiko kebocoran dan perubahan data dapat diminimalkan. Metode penelitian meliputi analisis kebutuhan keamanan pada komunikasi IoT–server, perancangan arsitektur model keamanan berbasis JSON Web Token (JWT), serta evaluasi model melalui analisis latensi dan tingkat keberhasilan autentikasi berdasarkan skenario komunikasi yang dirancang. Penelitian ini berhasil merancang dan menganalisis model keamanan komunikasi IoT–web server berbasis HTTP Request dengan mekanisme autentikasi JSON Web Token (JWT). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan JWT dengan secret key yang valid mampu memberikan kontrol akses yang efektif, ditandai dengan keberhasilan autentikasi dan validasi komunikasi data antara perangkat IoT dan server.

Abstract

The science of pinched nerves is a very important topic, especially for the general public and parents. However, it should be noted that teenagers can also experience this condition. A pinched nerve occurs when a nerve is compressed by surrounding tissues or structures, which can lead to symptoms such as pain, numbness and paralysis. This article discusses the mechanism by which pinched nerves occur, highlights the risk factors that play a role, and reviews diagnostic and treatment methods. In this context, further research into the prevention and treatment of pinched nerves is crucial to improve the quality of life of patients and reduce their impact on human health. Researchers focused on community outreach as a strategy to disseminate information and knowledge about pinched nerves. This counseling aims to provide the community with a deeper understanding of the symptoms, risk factors, and preventive measures that can be taken. Through this research, it is hoped that a more effective solution can be found in the prevention and treatment of pinched nerves, so as to reduce the incidence of cases and increase public understanding of the importance of maintaining nerve health. Thus, this article makes a positive contribution to disease prevention efforts and improving the overall welfare of the community.

Abstract

The escalating volume of waste, driven by insufficient public awareness and the lack of effective waste management systems, has become a significant environmental challenge. Improper waste disposal, particularly of non-biodegradable materials like plastics and metals, contributes notably to environmental pollution. In Riau Province, Indonesia, where the annual waste generation reaches 862,013 tons, only 60.71% is effectively managed. Despite the presence of 267 waste bank units, much of the plastic bottle and aluminum can waste remains improperly discarded. The high cost of commercially available Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) further limits their widespread adoption, especially in regions like Riau. This study addresses these issues by proposing a cost-effective RVM that integrates Internet of Things (IoT) technology and a deep learning-based image classification model. The system enables users to exchange waste bottles for rewards through the Ecocycle mobile application, thus promoting waste sorting and recycling. The proposed model, tested on plastic and aluminum bottles, achieved 100% classification accuracy. Notably, this research bridges a critical gap by combining automated classification with IoT communication and incentive distribution in a low-cost, scalable system. The potential for this system to be expanded globally is evident, as it provides a feasible solution for large-scale waste management, particularly in regions lacking advanced waste infrastructure. Through both technological and behavioral approaches, this study contributes uniquely to the field of waste management by advancing accessible, effective solutions to foster environmental sustainability.

Abstract

Rumbai Buki Health Center Health Cadres are spread across each posyandu work area. The cadres accommodate toddler and elderly posyandu. One very basic problem in the elderly is health, so efforts are needed to improve the health conditions of the elderly group. The existing posyandu cadres have an average education below high school. There are partner problems, namely the lack of ability to provide health services, such as poor communication skills, lack of knowledge about elderly health, lack of knowledge in screening the elderly Health Card, and lack of innovative activities from cadres. In addition, supporting equipment such as height meters, body weights, thermometers, sphygmomanometers, stethoscopes, and measuring devices for blood sugar, cholesterol, and uric acid levels are still very minimal. Problems in the field of information technology also exist, where recording of elderly health administration data is still done manually. The purpose of this PKM activity is to overcome problems in elderly posyandu cadre partners in Rumbai Bukit village, namely efforts to improve the health of the elderly through training and counselling to elderly cadres, counselling to the elderly, procurement of health support equipment, and designing information systems for computerized administrative management. The results of the service carried out showed that the elderly data totalled 52 people, consisting of 4 men and 48 women.

Abstract

Keterbatasan akses informasi layanan fisioterapi masih menjadi permasalahan di wilayah pedesaan, termasuk Desa Teratak Buluh. Tujuan utama kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan aplikasi Android sebagai sarana pencarian layanan fisioterapi yang terdekat dan terpercaya. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi penyuluhan, demonstrasi penggunaan aplikasi, serta diskusi interaktif dengan peserta. Data kegiatan diperoleh melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan umpan balik peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta mampu memahami fungsi aplikasi dan cara penggunaannya dengan baik serta menunjukkan minat dalam memanfaatkan teknologi mobile untuk kebutuhan kesehatan. Aplikasi dinilai mudah digunakan dan relevan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan literasi digital kesehatan dan berpotensi memperluas akses layanan fisioterapi di wilayah pedesaan.
