Abstract

Pekanbaru City has 21 community health centers (Puskesmas), whose distribution influences the spread of diseases, including communicable, non-communicable, and chronic diseases. This study aims to design a web-based prototype to assist Puskesmas in routinely reporting disease data to the Pekanbaru City Health Office and to provide public access to disease information. A quantitative experimental method with a development research design was used. Data on the most prevalent diseases were collected through observation and documentation, then processed into a database. The research was conducted from January 31 to June 3, 2024. The resulting prototype was developed using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and is accessible via smartphones. Functional and feasibility tests confirmed the system works properly and is ready for use. This disease reporting and information system helps streamline data submission by Puskesmas and enhances public access to health information. It is recommended that the local government support its development and implementation across all Puskesmas in Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Health centers are government agencies in public health development services. It is difficult to find the highest disease in several health centers in the city of Pekanbaru. Many health centers still use manual records and systems that are not well integrated. This application is designed to provide accurate and up-to-date information about the highest disease in the region. With this application, it can make it easier for people to get information quickly and up to date. The search for the highest disease is integrated with technology, making it easier for people to access this service. Methods Community service activities by socializing the use of the highest disease application to community groups in Pekanbaru City. The results of this counseling are to provide information to the community and how to use the application inputted by the puskesmas on the website about the highest disease in the working area of the Pekanbaru City Health Office.

Abstract

Puskesmas merupakan instansi pemerintah dalam pelayanan pembangunan kesehatan masyarakat. Sulitnya pencarian penyakit tertinggi di beberapa puskesmas di kota pekanbaru. Banyak puskesmas masih menggunakan pencatatan manual dan sistem yang tidak terintegrasi dengan baik. Aplikasi ini dirancang untuk menyediakan informasi akurat dan terkini tentang penyakit tertinggi di wilayah tersebut. Dengan adanya aplikasi ini dapat mempermudah masyarakat mendapatkan informasi secara cepat dan terbaru. Pencarian penyakit tertinggi ini diintegrasikan dengan teknologi membuat masyarakat lebih mudah dalam mengakses layanan ini. Metode Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dengan sosialisasi penggunaan aplikasi penyakit tertinggi kepada kelompok masyarakat di Kota Pekanbaru. Hasil Penyuluhan ini untuk memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat dan cara penggunaan aplikasi yang di input pihak puskesmas di website tentang penyakit tertinggi di wilayah kerja Dinas Kesehatan Kota Pekanbaru.

Abstract

In today's digital era, the habit of reading the Qur'an has significantly declined, especially among the younger generation. This is due to the dominance of digital activities such as social media, gaming, and other online entertainment. In response to this phenomenon, a community service team in collaboration with the Generasi Umat Terbaik Foundation (YGUT) conducted a Qur’anic literacy socialization program through the "Istiqomah" initiative, which is based on a mobile application. This activity was designed using the Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) approach, emphasizing active community involvement in the planning, implementation, and evaluation processes. The socialization was carried out through application usage training, focused group discussions, and community strengthening via the application's interactive features. The results showed an increase in participants' awareness and interest in reviving the habit of consistent Qur’anic reading, as well as the formation of a digital Qur’anic reading community network.

Abstract

The low coverage of Exclusive breast feeding Clinics working relic in Melur in the city of Pekanbaru in 2012 i.e. 26,76%. While the targets set Renstra 70%. This research aims to know the factors that relate to Exclusive breast feeding and he knows what the level of mother's age, occupation, education, knowledge, the role of the family and IMD related factor is breast feeding on infants in the region Work Puskesmas Melur years 2014. Research methods design with Cross Sectional was held in May-June of 2014 in the city of Pekanbaru Melur Clinics Work. the number of samples of 82 and a population of 552. Measuring instrument used was a questionnaire. Data-processing by computerization. Data analysis for test with bivariat Chi-Square. The results showed that the variables have a meaningful relationship of exclusive breast feeding for the variable levels of employment p value 0,013 and IMD p value 0,017. Conclusion: there is a meaningful relationship between the employment rates of mothers, and IMD. Suggestions: Expected Clinics play an active role in providing guidance on early breastfeeding Exclusive breast feeding. Counseling emphasized to mothers have babies 6-12 months. Expected place instances of Working Moms may give allowances to mothers who have babies in order to provide Exclusive breast milk.

Abstract

Peningkatan jumlah rumah sakit, puskesmas, balai pengobatan, maupun laboratorium medis, berdampak pada jumlah limbah medis yang semakin lama semakin meningkat. Sehingga dibutuhkan pengelolaan yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui input, proses dan output pengelolaan limbah medis padat. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan jenis desain non-standar, yang format protokolnya seperti desain penelitian kuantitatif. Analisis data sebelum di lapangan, selama di lapangan, setelah di lapangan dan keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian ini adalah masih ada masalah sampah yang berserakan di tempat penampungan sementara sebelum dibawa ke tempat pemusnahan. penyebabnya dikerenakan sampah terlalu lama di tumpukkan jadi sampah keluar dari tempat yang disediakan. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pengelolaan limbah medis padat secara umum tidak dilakukan dengan baik. Permasalahan limbah medis padat ini seharusnya tidak terjadi karena pemerintah sudah mengatur pengelolaan limbah melalui tata cara. Persyaratan teknis pengelolaan limbah bahan berbahaya dan beracun dari fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan. Dilihat dari segi pendanaan tidak adanya masalah.

Abstract

Kota Pekanbaru, kota terpadat di Provinsi Riau, merupakan rumah bagi 31 rumah sakit yang menawarkan berbagai layanan kesehatan. Penyebaran rumah sakit ini memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap aksesibilitas layanan kesehatan, terutama klinik rawat jalan. Hal ini secara tidak langsung mempengaruhi status kesehatan masyarakat secara keseluruhan. Proyek pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan prototipe aplikasi berbasis Android yang membantu masyarakat dalam menemukan rumah sakit di Kota Pekanbaru yang menyediakan layanan yang dibutuhkan. "Aplikasi Pencarian Layanan Rumah Sakit di Kota Pekanbaru" menyederhanakan dan mempercepat proses pencarian layanan kesehatan yang dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat. Proyek ini dimulai dengan perancangan Aplikasi Pencarian Layanan Rumah Sakit di Kota Pekanbaru. Langkah selanjutnya adalah melakukan uji fungsionalitas dan uji kelayakan pada aplikasi Android. Hasil dari uji fungsionalitas dan kelayakan cukup memuaskan, dengan hasil 100% fungsionalitas dan 87 5% dianggap layak. Kegiatan workshop dilakukan dalam beberapa kesempatan, antara lain untuk siswa SMA, masyarakat umum, mahasiswa, dan pasien rumah sakit. Hasil workshop menunjukkan animo yang sangat tinggi dari masyarakat. Evaluasi terhadap kegiatan dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner, dimana 83% responden menyatakan bahwa aplikasi ini sangat dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat, sedangkan sisanya menyatakan belum dibutuhkan. Berdasarkan konsep aplikasi, 70% responden menyatakan aplikasi sudah baik, 25% responden menyatakan aplikasi ini perlu untuk ditingkatkan dan 5% responden menyatakan aplikasi ini tidak baik. Aplikasi Pencarian Layanan Kesehatan di Rumah Sakit ini berbasis Android dan Aplikasi ini dapat ditingkatkan untuk didaftarkan pada layanan yang dapat diakses oleh seluruh masyarakat secara gratis.

Abstract

Permasalahan utama dalam pengembangan sistem berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) terletak pada aspek keamanan data selama proses komunikasi antara perangkat IoT dan web server. Sistem pintar yang melakukan pertukaran data transaksi dan identitas pengguna memerlukan mekanisme integrasi yang aman agar informasi tidak disalahgunakan. Kelemahan pada komunikasi data berpotensi menimbulkan berbagai ancaman keamanan, seperti serangan man-in-the-middle, pencurian identitas, serta manipulasi data transaksi. Penelitian ini mengusulkan perancangan model keamanan komunikasi berbasis HTTP Request yang dilengkapi mekanisme autentikasi menggunakan JSON Web Token (JWT). JWT dipilih karena bersifat ringan, sesuai untuk perangkat IoT dengan keterbatasan sumber daya, serta mampu menjamin integritas data melalui penggunaan tanda tangan digital. Pendekatan ini memungkinkan setiap pertukaran data antara perangkat IoT dan server tervalidasi secara aman, sehingga risiko kebocoran dan perubahan data dapat diminimalkan. Metode penelitian meliputi analisis kebutuhan keamanan pada komunikasi IoT–server, perancangan arsitektur model keamanan berbasis JSON Web Token (JWT), serta evaluasi model melalui analisis latensi dan tingkat keberhasilan autentikasi berdasarkan skenario komunikasi yang dirancang. Penelitian ini berhasil merancang dan menganalisis model keamanan komunikasi IoT–web server berbasis HTTP Request dengan mekanisme autentikasi JSON Web Token (JWT). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan JWT dengan secret key yang valid mampu memberikan kontrol akses yang efektif, ditandai dengan keberhasilan autentikasi dan validasi komunikasi data antara perangkat IoT dan server.

Abstract

The science of pinched nerves is a very important topic, especially for the general public and parents. However, it should be noted that teenagers can also experience this condition. A pinched nerve occurs when a nerve is compressed by surrounding tissues or structures, which can lead to symptoms such as pain, numbness and paralysis. This article discusses the mechanism by which pinched nerves occur, highlights the risk factors that play a role, and reviews diagnostic and treatment methods. In this context, further research into the prevention and treatment of pinched nerves is crucial to improve the quality of life of patients and reduce their impact on human health. Researchers focused on community outreach as a strategy to disseminate information and knowledge about pinched nerves. This counseling aims to provide the community with a deeper understanding of the symptoms, risk factors, and preventive measures that can be taken. Through this research, it is hoped that a more effective solution can be found in the prevention and treatment of pinched nerves, so as to reduce the incidence of cases and increase public understanding of the importance of maintaining nerve health. Thus, this article makes a positive contribution to disease prevention efforts and improving the overall welfare of the community.

Abstract

The escalating volume of waste, driven by insufficient public awareness and the lack of effective waste management systems, has become a significant environmental challenge. Improper waste disposal, particularly of non-biodegradable materials like plastics and metals, contributes notably to environmental pollution. In Riau Province, Indonesia, where the annual waste generation reaches 862,013 tons, only 60.71% is effectively managed. Despite the presence of 267 waste bank units, much of the plastic bottle and aluminum can waste remains improperly discarded. The high cost of commercially available Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) further limits their widespread adoption, especially in regions like Riau. This study addresses these issues by proposing a cost-effective RVM that integrates Internet of Things (IoT) technology and a deep learning-based image classification model. The system enables users to exchange waste bottles for rewards through the Ecocycle mobile application, thus promoting waste sorting and recycling. The proposed model, tested on plastic and aluminum bottles, achieved 100% classification accuracy. Notably, this research bridges a critical gap by combining automated classification with IoT communication and incentive distribution in a low-cost, scalable system. The potential for this system to be expanded globally is evident, as it provides a feasible solution for large-scale waste management, particularly in regions lacking advanced waste infrastructure. Through both technological and behavioral approaches, this study contributes uniquely to the field of waste management by advancing accessible, effective solutions to foster environmental sustainability.
