Abstract

The luxury automotive industry in Indonesia continues to demonstrate stable growth despite economic pressures and technical challenges, particularly in classic models. BMW, as a dominant luxury car brand, has successfully maintained user loyalty, including for older models such as the E46 and F30. This study aims to analyze the influence of brand experience, brand trust, and brand image on customer loyalty, with brand resonance as a mediating variable and brand value as a moderating variable. A quantitative approach was employed by distributing online questionnaires to users of BMW 3 Series (E46 and F30) in Surabaya, Jakarta, Bekasi, and Solo. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) with AMOS 26. The results indicate that brand experience and brand trust have a positive and significant effect on brand resonance, while brand image does not have a significant effect. Brand resonance was found to significantly mediate the relationship with customer loyalty. Brand value also positively moderates the relationship between brand resonance and customer loyalty. These findings highlight the importance of emotional experience, community involvement, and perceived brand value in fostering loyalty, even for vehicles that are not the owners’ primary cars. This study emphasizes that loyalty is shaped not only by functional satisfaction but also by long-term emotional attachment, particularly in the context of classic luxury cars.

Abstract

The growth of the local coffee industry in Indonesia as triggered intense competition. The ‘ngopi’ (coffee-drinking) culture, increasing purchasing power, and evolving lifestyles have created promising business opportunities. The homogeneity concepts among coffee businesses has driven the innovation of competitive advantages. Customer loyalty is crucial for sustainability of Kopi X. This research investigates the influence of brand experience on customer loyalty in local coffee shops, using Kopi X as a case study. This quantitative study employs an online questionnaire and structural equation modelling (SEM) with the aid of AMOS software. The independent variables are brand experience (sensory, affective, behavioral, and intellectual) and brand love. The dependent variable is brand loyalty, with age serving as a moderating variable. The research findings indicate that brand experience dimensions such as sensory experience, affective experience, and intellectual experience have a positive and significant effect on brand love. However, the behavioral experience dimension does not significantly influence brand love. Brand love exerts a positive and significant influence on brand loyalty. Age strengthens the influence on brand love on brand loyalty. This research is expected to provide empirical contributions to the understanding of the factors influencing loyalty in local coffee shops. The results can offer strategic recommendations for coffee business stakeholders to enhance customer loyalty through effective brand experience management.

Abstract

The research aims to optimize the geometry of taper blade profiles for the Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine (HAWT) to improve aerodynamic performance and minimize fabrication complexity. The study used blade linearization as an optimization method for identifying a desirable twist (β) and chord (Cr). This approach enhances accuracy and boosts computational efficiency. It simplifies the optimization process by reducing complexity. In contrast, traditional nonlinear methods are slower and more resource-intensive due to complex aerodynamic interactions. The best β and Cr distributions were found by linearization with elements 1 and 10 of the blade length and positions 5%, 15%, 25%, 35%, 45%, 55%, 65%, 75%, 85, and 95% of the blade elements. The linearization results were used to determine the optimum performance of the HAWT design using simulation. The optimal blades for HAWT were fabricated and their performance evaluated under real wind conditions. The linearization of the 45% twist and chord of elements 1 and 10 provided the best blade shape. Optimized twist and chord yielded HAWT performance with the Cp of 45% to 47% at rotational speeds of 200–900 rpm and wind speeds of 2–10 m/s. Twist and chord optimization increased the Cp from 39.71% to 46.43% with a rotational speed of 550 rpm at a wind speed of 6 m/s, as well as the maximum mechanical power from 424.28 watts to 500.35 watts at a wind speed of 10 m/s. The result from real wind conditions showed that manufactured HWAT produced an average electrical power of 294.19 watts at a rotational speed of 590.66 rpm. These results demonstrate that the optimized design approach presents a close match and is still reasonable in comparison to practical conditions.

Abstract

PT. Indocrane Wahana Solusindo (IWASO) adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang penjualan crane, menghadapi tantangan dalam mempertahankan dan meningkatkan pangsa pasarnya di tengah persaingan industri yang ketat. Berdasarkan kutipan dari Direktur diketahui terindikasi penurunan penjualan dalam beberapa tahun terakhir menunjukkan bahwa perlu segera mengembangkan strategi pemasaran yang lebih efektif untuk mengatasi tantangan pasar, meningkatkan pertumbuhan bisnis serta memperkuat posisi kami di tengah persaingan industri yang semakin ketat. Berdasarkan data penjualan perusahaan yang tidak kunjung naik, maka studi ini perlu dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi dan merumuskan strategi pemasaran yang efektif sehingga membantu perusahaan dalam meningkatkan penjualan. Tujuan penelitian ini mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor utama yang termasuk dalam Evaluasi Faktor Internal dan Evaluasi Faktor Eksternal IWASO, serta merancang strategi pemasaran yang efektif untuk penjualan crane di perusahaan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix untuk mengevaluasi dan menentukan prioritas strategi pemasaran yang paling tepat berdasarkan analisis terhadap faktor-faktor internal dan eksternal perusahaan. Analisis IFE dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi kekuatan dan kelemahan internal perusahaan, sementara analisis EFE digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi peluang dan ancaman eksternal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan mengidentifikasi kekuatan dan kelemahan internal serta peluang dan ancaman eksternal, IWASO dapat meningkatkan daya saingnya di pasar crane. Kontribusi penelitian ini adalah memberikan rekomendasi strategi pemasaran yang efektif bagi IWASO. Implementasi praktis dari hasil penelitian ini memberikan prioritas strategi yang paling efektif untuk diterapkan yaitu mengembangkan digitalisasi produk untuk meningkatkan pangsa pasar dan memperkuat hubungan pelanggan loyal dengan memberikan penawaran khusus purna jual.

Abstract

Artikel ini menguraikan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang berfokus pada pelatihan mental untuk atlet Lampung Berjaya yang sedang mempersiapkan diri menghadapi PON (Pekan Olahraga Nasional) XXI Aceh – Sumut tahun 2024. Pelatihan mental ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan performa atlet dan kesiapan secara psikologis dalam menghadapi tekanan kompetisi tingkat nasional, dengan menekankan pada pengelolaan stres dan penguatan fokus. Selain itu meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan para atlet dalam mengelola aspek mental yang pada akhirnya para atlet dapat memahami pentingnya latihan mental dalam meningkatkan performa secara keseluruhan serta mampu mengimplementasikan teknik-teknik latihan mental yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik mereka masing -masing agar bisa lebih memahami kondisi terkini terkait mental para atlet itu sendiri. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini melibatkan teknik psikologi olahraga, seperti visualisasi prestasi, self-talk positif, serta latihan mindfulness untuk meningkatkan kontrol diri dan ketenangan dalam situasi kompetitif. Program ini juga mencakup sesi konsultasi di mana para atlet dapat berbagi pengalaman dan strategi untuk mengatasi kecemasan, membangun kepercayaan diri serta memelihara motivasi selama masa persiapan dan kompetisi. Evaluasi pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa atlet yang mengikuti program ini mengalami peningkatan signifikan dalam aspek mental mereka, seperti pengelolaan tekanan, penguatan mental dalam menghadapi kegagalan dan peningkatan konsentrasi. Dengan pendekatan berbasis psikologi positif dan dukungan sosial antar atlet, pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat mempersiapkan para atlet Lampung berjaya untuk tampil maksimal dalam PON XXI Aceh – Sumut tahun 2024 serta memberikan dampak jangka panjang terhadap kesejahteraan mental mereka.

Abstract

Penggunaan media pembelajaran yang tepat dan inovatif dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan mengurangi sikap pasif siswa. Selain dapat membantu manusia dalam mengerjakan tugas-tugasnya, robot dapat dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran. Tujuan dilaksanakan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan kapasitas tenaga pengajar sehingga dapat secara mandiri membuat robot sederhana sebagai media pembelajaran serta mengajarkannya ke peserta didik. Pelatihan robotik sederhana dilaksanakan dengan metode diskusi dan simulasi. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner dan dokumentasi hasil pelatihan yang diberikan di setiap akhir pertemuan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman tenaga pengajar mengenai robot dan perakitannya meningkat.

Abstract

The development of Islamic boarding school education has brought changes to various aspects of human life. Although traditionalists are often not completely affected, there are similarities between traditional Islamic boarding school educational institutions and modernist changes. One of the Islamic boarding school education figures who made a contribution was KH. Abdul Wahid Hasyim, is known as a bridge between Islamic boarding school civilization and modern civilization. This research focuses on two main problems, namely the form of reform of Islamic boarding school education from the perspective of KH. Abdul Wahid Hasyim and its relevance to contemporary Islamic education. The research method used is library study, collecting data from various library sources such as books and articles related to Islamic boarding school education reform. The research results show that the idea of renewing Islamic boarding school education by KH. Abdul Wahid Hasyim emerged from disappointment with colonialism which was detrimental to indigenous people. These reform efforts include institutional, methodological, library and curriculum aspects. KH. Abdul Wahid Hasyim also founded Madrasah Nizamiyyah and developed Islamic higher education, which later developed into the State Islamic University (UIN). This reform plays an important role in advancing Islamic boarding school education and educating society. Its relevance to contemporary Islamic education can be seen in the transformation of Islamic higher education institutions in Indonesia. Thus, the contribution of KH. Abdul Wahid Hasyim has formed the foundation for the development of modern Islamic education in this country.
