Abstract

Transmission of filght plan from Samarinda Temindung airport to Balikpapan Sepinggan airport has been sometimes failed because of various things such as breaking off the communication way or another supporting facility failure such as VSAT. So if flight plan’s data from Samarinda BO to Balikpapan BO is not sent, then Samarinda BO will resend that filght plan. The objective of this design was to make an application which is able to monitor flight plan at tower of Samarinda Temindung airport and to invent a device which could be used to send notification to the technician if there any trouble on AFTN. The method of this design used microcontroller component, GSM modul, and Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 application. The aim of this design had shown the simulation of that device would be able to give a description about flight plan transmission monitoring system which transmit and receive into Samarinda Temindung airport.

Abstract

Safe and seamless flight traffic services are the right of consumers as service users, where the smoothness of traffic is influenced by human resources, service procedures and facilities used in providing aviation traffic services. Hasanuddin Makassar International Airport has experienced significant movement of aircraft for the last 5 years using Multiplerunway. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of multiplerunway 13/31 and 03/21 on the efficiency of Aerodrome Control Tower service delivery. The research method is qualitative descriptive analysis using runway 03/21 and runway 13/31. Runway configuration 03/21 and 13/31 unusual angular shape requires ATC to follow Multiple Runway Operation and Standard Operating Procedure in determining runway-use. The use of multiplerunway, not fully optimal for ATC in giving instruction of aerodrome control service because it still takes 6 - 8 minu/te departure process with runway in use 03/21 while departure process using runway in use 13/31 takes maximum 10 - 15 minutes.

Abstract

Gamar Malamo Galela Airport in Maluku Province. Flight services on the route Ternate - Galela PP by PT. Merpati Nusantara Airlines uses Twin Otter or DHC-6 aircraft, with a frequency of 3 times a week. This research is a non-experimental research and case study of an increase in demand for transportation services. Data processing uses quantitative and quantitative description approach based on secondary data through forecasting the number of aircraft movement requests. data processing using the SPSS 22 series program, forecasting the projected number of passenger movements. The results of the study are based on time sires data on the population growth variable showing the results of the Linear Regression Equation variable Y value = 2232.5 + 2841.1 X, with the coefficient of determination is R² = 0.653, while the Logarithmic model with a value of Y = 3205.823+ Ln (7885 , 107X) with the acquisition value of determination R ² = 0.813, Polynomial (cubic), with the acquisition of the value of equation Y = -20691.2 + 29790,952 X - 8512.5 X2 + 773.58 X3, with the determination determination R ² = 0.94 , the exponential model produces the equation Y = 187.871 e0.213x with the detremination value R2 = 0.603. Where the number of passengers demand for air transportation services at Gamar Malamo Airport in 2040 reached 238,179 people

Abstract

The need of public transportation is one of the communities needs that continue to grow in line with the increasing standard of economic life community. It shown on the role which the help movement accelaeration of information, goods, passengers, and especially in the tourism sector in order to attract tourists both domestic and foreign. of the three types of transportation that is land, sea, and air, by using air transportation is the right choice for the effectiveness and time efficiency, because it can be a solution of the problem of distance traveled in a relatively short time. The aim of this research is to find out how much the level of flight frequency and the volume of movement of airplane passengers at Blimbingsari Airport, Banyuwangi. This research is a non-experimental study, in the form of case studies of air traffic services, using descriptive and quantitative methods through the study of passenger movement data and the movement of commercial aircraft at the Blimbingsari airport in Banyuwangi. In this research, descriptive analysis contains data on the movement of commercial airplanes and passengers which occurred at Banyuwangi Airport in the period 2013-2018. Descriptive analysis of the results of the study can be known from observations of the data obtained during the study.

Abstract

The research aims to design the development of schedule information systems Flights that provide real time information based on the presence of an in-flight aircraft to the user, and generate an information system of flight schedules that are in fact that can provide time information of the aircraft appropriately. Designing the development of flight schedule information system is using UML (Univ (data flow diagram) and designing its application is using mobile technology with the utilization of webservices/API to access flight schedule and Weather information. The departure schedule is a JSON file obtained from the FIDS website of Makassar Hasanuddin Airport, while the weather information of the original airport and the airport passenger's destination is obtained from the Open Wheater API.

Abstract

LPPM (Institute for Research and Community Service) is an activity unit that manages all research and community service activities carried out by teachers in improving the quality of these supervisors. At this time research or service data is still managed manually by using the Microsoft Excel application as well as Word. This requires inefficient time when manipulating data to make a report. Delete this with a recording model like this can also be moved because of mistakes either intentional or unintentional. The purpose of this study is to build a computer-based information system that can be used to facilitate the performance of the PPM Center in organizing the results of PPM activities. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study, a series of activities or processes to reveal in-depth information processes that are used as a basis in designing information systems. The results of this research concluded that: (a) this information system can be used as a system that monitors research and service activities, and the absorption of research funds. (b) processing research data more efficiently and can be accessed anywhere and anytime because it is designed using responsive frameworks

Abstract

The non-smoking rooms at the airport are crucial. Cigarette smoke is very harmful to health because it contains various pollution substances that can cause a variety of cough diseases, cancer, and other health disorders. There are many ways to minimize the danger of cigarette smoke by making non-smoking stickers/banners and smoking prohibition seminars. However, the way is less effective because there are still some people who do not realize the importance of not smoking in public places and indoor or air-conditioned rooms. The purpose of this research is to design a cigarette smoke detector simulation tool in an indoor and AIR-conditioned room that is displayed through the Dashboard Floor plan Indoor Airport room, using Microcontroller Node MCU equipped ESP8266 Wireless module by using MQTT protocol for Data Communication sensor node to server with system test using black box testing approach or in generally known as test case. The type of this research is experimental research. This research is conducted by conducting trials where mechanical and electronic design for hardware component. Technique or method used is a method of library by collecting some written data both from books, literature, and tutorials as reference material and observe the conditions at Gate 1 of Sultan Hasanuddin Airport. Conclusion based on testing results of cigarette smoke detector is a prototype system of cigarette smoke detection tools can detect smoke of the smoking at the threshold of 650 ppm and provide information related to the location of smoke detection by utilizing a network Internet. So, the airport can detect cigarette smoke easily and to effective smoking ban in a room is AIR-conditioned.

Abstract

Instrument landing systems (ILS) at airports are very important in guiding aircraft through safe landing. The service of air navigation aids at Bandar Haluoleo Kendari has not been optimal so far. This is due to damage at the beginning of the installation. The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of ILS being less optimal on improving flight safety services. The research method used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods that describe the general conditions of aviation safety caused by the lack of optimal ILS and calculate the operating costs per type of aircraft that experienced a landing cancellation based on manual maintenance. The results of the study show that there is a significant influence between the lack of optimal ILS on flight safety when visibility below minima. It also has an impact on the loss of aircraft operating costs incurred by the airline, avtur losses on aircraft that experience holding / delay and time loss for passengers who use the air transportation services. Alternative problem solving is to re-optimize the use of ILS such as completing modules and refining modules by factory expert technicians or third-party procurement of ILS goods / equipment

Abstract

Spectrum Analyzer is a device that is reliable enough to analyze or test the condition of a system in a communication network. However, the high purchase price of a Spectrum Analyzer means that not everyone can afford it. One solution to overcome this problem is to make a piece of hardware capable of performing the same performance as a Spectrum Analyzer but at a relatively cheaper price. Prototype Spectrum Analyzer to be implemented is a device capable of displaying the spectrum of a signal in a certain frequency range. This engineering was carried out from July to October 2020 at the Makassar Aviation Polytechnic Campus and testing tools with a comparison tool was carried out at Otban Region V Makassar. The technique or method used in data collection is the library method by collecting some written data from books, literature, and tutorials on the internet, as reference material and then analyzing solutions that can be taken in solving problems. From the results of tests carried out by using RTL-SDR on the Single Board Computer (SBC), Raspberry pi can display the frequency spectrum whether it is done singly or applied to the network so that it can be used as a learning medium for wireless technology practice or other materials that measure frequency from sergi, the performance of the trainer spectrum analyzer with the use of raspberry pi as a device for processing radio / wireless signals is quite good at utilization with CLI mode (command line interface) but is relatively slow when used on the desktop as a portable spectrum analyzer that can be used as a learning medium.

Abstract

The problem that raised in this research is how to solve problems in using office electronic equipment to make it more efficient by utilizing internet technology as a medium for controlling, air conditioning, computers, and lights. Sometimes we still find a room that has electronic equipment such as air conditioning, computers, and lights that are still on even though they are not used so that it seems wasteful and inefficient, therefore we need an Internet of Things-based smart office system that can regulate and control conditions. office electronic equipment from anywhere via the internet network so that it can be useful for identifying and monitoring whether it is on or off. The control system is expected to help to identify and monitor the switching on and off of electronic devices remotely through a user interface. This research aims to design a smart office system based on the internet of things so that it can be used to flexibly identify and control office electronic equipment.
