Abstract

This research aims to understand what the role of advocates is in the justice system and law enforcement. The approach used in the research here is qualitative. The method used to collect information is through interviews. The data analysis process in this research is descriptive. The findings from this research state that advocates are considered law enforcers and are a profession that has freedom, independence and responsibility in carrying out their duties to enforce the law as regulated by law. In Law Number 18 of 2003 concerning Advocates, Advocates play a role in providing services for handling a case requested by their client, and in handling their duties there are non-litigation and also litigation ones. What is meant by litigation is in court and non-litigation is outside of court. In Indonesia, there are four justice systems which include General Courts, Religious Courts, State Administrative Courts, and Military Courts. The judicial system refers to all processes or procedures carried out in court, which involve examination, decision and trial of a case by applying the law.

Abstract

Penelitian tesis ini mengkaji pertimbangan hukum hakim dalam kasus dispensasi nikah di Pangadilan Agama Barru (Perspektif Maqashid Al-Syariah). Terdapat tiga rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini: 1) Persepsi hukum Hakim tentang permohonan dispensasi nikah 2021 di Pengadila Agama Barru. 2) Faktor-faktor apa yang menjadi pertimbangan hukum Hakim tentang permohonan dispensasi nikah 2021 di Pengadila Agama Barru dan 3) Pandangan Maqashid al Syariah tentang pertimbangan hukum Hakim tentang permohonan dispensasi nikah 2021 di Pengadila Agama Barru. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan pendekatan yuridis empiris Teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Konsep pertimbangan hukum hakim dalam kasus permohonan dispensasi nikah tahun 2021 mencakup elemen yuridis dengan menetapkan peraturan dan sumber hukum sebagai rujukan tempat hakim menggunakan landasan hukum sebagai cara untuk melaksanakan kepastian hukum.Selanjutnya, pertimbangan mewujudkan keadilan. Selain penerapan landasan hukum, pertimbangan mewujudkan keadilan juga sangat penting. 2) Faktor dalam kasus permohonan dispensasi nikah di Pengadilan Agama Barru, hakim mempertimbangkan dua hal: kesiapan dan kesungguhan anak. Selanjutnya, hakim mempertimbangkan asas keuntungan, ketiga, karena situasi yang sangat mendesak, dan keempat, faktor budaya.3. Perspektif Maqahid Al-Syariah tentang pertimbangan hakim dalam kasus sensasi nikah di Pengadilan Agama Barru adalah bahwa pertimbangan hakim tentang perlindungan hak anak seharusnya sejalan dengan pasal-pasal yang tercantum dalam PERMA nomor 5 tahun 2019 dan juga sesuai dengan tujuan Maqahid Al-Syariah untuk memelihara kemaslahatan, yang berarti bahwa keputusan hakim tersebut memposisikan kedudukan syara' lebih tinggi dari Undang-undang”.

Abstract

Ascorbic acid (Acidum ascorbicum) is an active component of vitamin C planar joints that spread in Jambi City. The planar jointsform is more than the tablet. Ascorbic acid can turn into an inactive form because it is easily oxidized and accelerated by heat, this research was done to know the effect of heating ascorbic acid content. This research was used three types of vitamin C samples (2 tablets and 1 solution) were obtained randomly from three different pharmacies. Samples were given a heating treatment of 300 C, 600 C, 800 C and 1000C each at 0, 60, 120 and 180 minutes with 3 repetitions and vitamin C levels were known to use the Iodatometric titration method. The highest vitamin C tablet content was found in preparations heated at 300C with the percentage of sample I = 99.8%, sample II = 96.3% and sample 3 = 90.17%. The lowest vitamin C content was carried out at 1000C with the percentage of sample I = 74.6% and sample II = 74.4% and sample 3 = 70.2%. The statistical test results show the value of sig. smaller than 0.05, it is means that there are differences the result of heating effect from three samples tested.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of integrating digital media into the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to improve students’ critical thinking skills on wave concepts in Grade VIII at SMPN 8 Kota Bima. Using a quasi-experimental pretest–posttest control group design, the study involved Class VIII-A as the experimental group (32 students) and VIII-B as the control group (30 students). Instruments were developed based on Facione’s critical thinking indicators and validated through expert judgment. Results indicate a significant improvement in the experimental class, with an N-gain of 0.71 (high category), while the control class reached 0.40 (medium category). Independent t-test analysis confirmed significant differences between the two groups in posttest scores for both critical thinking skills and learning outcomes. Thus, integrating digital media within the PBL model effectively enhances students’ critical thinking and conceptual understanding of waves

Abstract

The growing prevalence of cyber threats and attacks poses significant risks to the security of personal data and the integrity of sensitive information worldwide. Cryptography plays a vital role in establishing strong cybersecurity defenses, and the development of robust cryptographic algorithms is essential for protecting data against cyber-attacks. This workshop aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of the mathematical foundations of cryptographic algorithms and equip them with practical skills to identify and mitigate cyber threats. It also introduced innovative educational tools, including an Augmented Reality (AR) application for teaching classical cryptography and a Game-Based URL Phishing Education application. A total of 110 participants attended and completed the pre-test. The post-test measured knowledge gained during the workshop, and an accompanying survey gathered feedback on its effectiveness and identified areas for improvement. Overall, the workshop successfully achieved its objectives by educating participants on cryptography in the Internet of Things (IoT), increasing awareness of social engineering, introducing cryptographic tools from ancient to modern times, and exploring the principles of quantum cryptography.

Abstract

This literature-based study aims to synthesize theoretical and methodological perspectives on needs analysis (NA) in English as a Foreign Language (EFL), emphasizing the framework of necessities, wants, and lacks (NWL) and its implications for materials development. A total of twenty-five peer-reviewed journal articles (2010-2024), three seminal books, and two policy documents were analyzed through thematic and comparative methods. Sources were selected based on their relevance to EFL contexts, academic credibility, and contribution to materials design. The review reveals three key findings. First, needs analysis serves as a cornerstone in curriculum and materials development, ensuring instructional relevance and learner engagement. Second, the NWL framework remains conceptually robust, though its application requires methodological diversification through triangulation of questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Third, digital tools and technology-enhanced approaches have revitalized NA practices, promoting dynamic and data-driven insights into learners’ needs. Conceptually, this study bridges classical and contemporary perspectives on NA. Practically, it offers guidance for teachers, curriculum designers, and material developers to integrate systematic and evidence-based needs analysis into EFL instructional design.

Abstract

Praktik Kemahiran Hukum II merupakan mata kuliah yang wajib di ambil oleh mahasiswa Fakultas Syariah semester VII di Universitas Islam Negeri Palangka Raya. Program dari mata kuliah ini bertujuan untuk menambah wawasan dan pengalaman serta meningkatkan potensi bagi mahasiswa Fakultas Syariah. Pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan bagaimana pelaksanaan praktik kemahiran hukum II bagi mahasiswa Fakultas Syariah UIN Palangka Raya melalui pengalaman mereka di Kecamatan Jekan Raya, Kota Palangka Raya. Adapun Pelaksanaan yang dilakukan meliputi pelayanan administrasi seperti  pendataan aplikasi edebu BPJS Kesehatan, pelayanan surat keterangan tidak mampu (SKTM) dan dispensasi Nikah, Serta Pendataan status penerima BPJS Kesehatan di Kecamatan Jekan Raya, Kota Palangka Raya. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini memberikan kesempatan mahasiswa dalam mencari  wawasan dan pengalaman kepada mahasiswa dalam memahami pengeloaan dan pelayanan administrasi yang ada di lingkungan Kecamatan Jekan Raya, Kota Palangka Raya. Hasil dari pelaksanaan ini mampu meningkatkan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam memahami bagaimana pelayanan administrasi di instansi pemerintahan khususnya di Kecamatan Jekan Raya, Kota Palangka Raya. Program mata kuliah ini sangat membantu mahasiswa dalam menghadapi kesiapan dunia kerja ke depan di instansi pemerintahan yang professional. Melalui Praktik Kemahiran Hukum II ini di harapkan untuk terus ditingkatkan dan di kembangkan sebagai bahan yang efektif dalam menambah wawasan dan pengalaman bagi mahasiswa Fakultas Syariah UIN Palangka Raya.

Abstract

Pokok masalah yang dibahas pada penelitian ini tentang Upaya guru dalam mengatasi problem Pelaksanaan Kurikulum 2013 pada Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Lingkup Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Maros. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan naturalistik dan pendekatan pengamatan berperan serta. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dokumentasi Adapun teknik pengolahan dan analisis data, yaitu: keseluruhan data yang terkumpul dianalisis sepanjang proses pengumpulan data dilapangan berlangsung hingga data yang dikehendaki sudah dianggap lengkap, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan membuat catatan hasil temuan ke dalam buku catatan lapangan, data tersebut diklarifikasi sesuai dengan permasalahan dan tujuan penelitian, kemudian diberi pengkodean dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa upaya guru dalam mengatasi problem budaya membaca yang masih rendah, antara lain guru melakukan inovasi dan strategi bagaimana caranya agar peserta didik tersebut bisa mencintai buku. Ada beberapa kiat yang harus dilakukan guru dalam menghadapi siswa-siswi yang minat bacanya rendah, antara lain: a) pemilihan buku yang tepat, b) ciptakan suasana yang nyaman, c) menempelkan slogan atau stiker yang memotivasi anak untuk giat membaca, d) sharing, dan e) membimbing siswa bagaimana caranya membaca yang baik.  2) Upaya yang dilakukan guru dalam mengatasi problem kurangnya penguasaan teknologi informasi, antara lain: a)..melakukan pelatihan secara berkala tentang penggunaan teknologi informasi.: b.) membiasakan diri bersentuhan dengan alat-alat elektronik terutama laptop terkait dengan materi pembelajaran, c) selalu menggunakan waktu luang untuk mencari informasi pembelajaran lewat alat elektronik dan d) mengikis sifat jenuh dalam diri untuk senantiasa berkembang dan berwawasan luas

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the difficulty level of Physics cognitive test items using the Rasch approach and the implementation of analysis through the application of R. The instrument consisted of 10 dichotomous items with three cognitive levels: C2 (comprehension), C3 (application), and C4 (analysis). A total of 100 students from SMAN 9 Gowa participated as respondents. The analysis was carried out using the Rasch 1PL model to obtain difficulty parameters (b), fit items and test information. The results showed that the difficulty of the item varied widely in the range of 0.12 to 2.22 logits, so that it was able to distinguish students' abilities, especially at the intermediate level, as evidenced by the peak of the Test Information Function at θ ≈ 1. However, some C2 items appear more difficult than the theory, which indicates the need for revisions to the redaction and effectiveness of the distractors. Items C3 and C4 were relatively consistent, although some items were classified as very difficult. The ICC analysis also showed differences in characteristics between items according to the principles of the Rasch model. Overall, the use of Rasch through R has proven to be effective in providing objective information about the quality of the items so that it can be used as a basis for improving the Physics cognitive assessment instrument to be more valid and in accordance with students' abilities.
