Abstract

Di era teknologi informasi saat ini telah banyak aplikasi desain grafis yang dapat digunakan untuk membuat brosur informatif sebagai media promosi usaha.Salah satu aplikasi desain grafis yang sangat populer dan banyak digunakan untuk membuat brosur informatif sebagai media promosi usaha adala Adobe Photoshop atau sering disebut dengan Photoshop. Adapun tujuan dilakukannya pengabdian ini yaitu untuk melakukan pelatihan pembuatan brosur informatif sebagai media promosi usaha bengkel las dengan aplikasi photoshop. Pengabdian ini dilakukan di Bengkel Las Tambund Jhaya. Bengkel Las Tambund Jhaya sejauh ini masih mengandalkan media promosi yang bersifat konvesnional, sehingga masih sulit untuk menjangkau calon pelanggan secara luas. Pelatihan yang kami lakukan mengenai penggunaan aplikasi Photoshop untuk membuat brosur informasi sebagai media promosi bengkel las ini dapat memberikan kontribusi yang sangat berarti bagi bengkel las Tambund Jhaya dalam meningkatkan softskill mereka dalam membuat brosur informasi dengan menggunakan aplikasi desain grafis photoshop. Dapat dijadikan sebagai alat promosi yang menarik untuk menarik perhatian dan minat konsumen. Selain itu, soft skill dalam mendesain brosur informasi dapat membantu Bengkel Las Tambund Jhaya menghemat biaya dan mempromosikan usahanya ke masyarakat luas agar tetap kompetitif dengan kompetitor.

Abstract

Dumai Port is a significant natural port in Sumatra, characterized by deep waters sheltered from waves and calm currents due to surrounding islands. It plays a crucial role in the export of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and the operations of Pertamina's RU II, which are expected to increase, leading to a rise in ship traffic. In response to this growing vessel traffic, this paper analyzes ship collision frequency and models the dispersion of oil spills as a potential consequence. The ship collision analysis utilizes the Integrated Waterway Risk Assessment Program (IWRAP), combining vessel traffic data over a year with the port's bathymetric data. The analysis revealed a total collision frequency of 0.589766 across various scenarios, including head-on, overtaking, crossing, bending, and merging, which is considered acceptable as it falls below the threshold of one collision per year. Additionally, oil spill trajectory modeling was conducted using two types of oil and two wave heights. In the 2000 m³ oil spill modeling at a height of 0.5 m, the crude oil model showed 68.4% still floating, while the product oil model had 41.7% floating. In the 1.5 m modeling, the crude oil model had 29% floating, and the product oil model had 16.2% floating. Based on these results, the chosen cleanup methods include oil booms, skimming, and dispersants. Effective oil spill cleanup requires collaboration among various stakeholders to ensure the process is carried out efficiently and accurately.

Abstract

Mobile Banking Channel or m banking is a facility provided by banks in the form of an application with various features to provide convenience in conducting financial transactions. One of the financial transaction features in addition to business needs is a non-business feature. This is to echo payments in the digital era as a banking commitment to support the steps of the government and stakeholders to increase public awareness to improve the economy. This study aims to test the influence of public interest and behavior on the interest and behavior of making payments using the m banking application online. This study uses a quantitative method, consisting of empirical data and obtained by filling out a questionnaire of 55 respondents from bank customers. The results of the study showed that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, facilitating conditions and social influence have a positive and significant influence on Use Behavior. Based on the results of the tests carried out, each P-Value of the variable is 0.000 which indicates that the P-Values ​​<0.05, therefore all hypotheses are accepted. That Performance Expectancy has a significant effect on Use Behavior, Effort expectancy has a significant effect on Use Behavior, Social influence has a significant effect on Use Behavior and Facilitating conditions have a significant effect on Use Behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using manipulative learning media on the learning motivation of 5th graders at SDN 3 Gunngsari in the 2020/2021 school year. This research is motivated by the use of manipulative learning media in increasing students' learning motivation. Data collection methods used are Observation, Documentation, and Questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique and inferential analysis technique. Descriptive data analysis technique is distribution, while inferential analysis technique is using Test (t) , and Sie Effect. The results of the normality test showed that the data was normally distributed, and the results of the homogeneity test obtained homogeneous data, while the results of the Hypothesis Test showed that there was a significant influence on the use of manipulative learning media on the learning motivation of 5th grade students at SDN 3 Gunungsari in the 2020/2021 academic year. This can be seen from the results of observations of the implementation of the use of manipulative learning media in the experimental group, namely in the first treatment a total score of 77.5 with good criteria, while in the second treatment the total score obtained was 82.5 with very good criteria. sig. (2-tailed) value is 0.005 < 0.05 or t count is greater than t table, because there are ( t count 3,525 and t table 1,8125 with df 10 with alpha 0.05, which means that there is a difference which is significant, and the effect size test shows a high influence, and there is an effect of the use of manipulative learning media on the learning motivation of 5th graders at SDN 3 Gunungsari in the 2020/2021 academic year.

Abstract

Agreements among business actors are common in the context of competition law in Indonesia and Japan. However, such agreements may be considered violations if they restrict competitors in the market, such as exclusive dealing on pricing or discounts. This study aims to describe the similarities and differences in the enforcement of laws by the Indonesia Competition Commission (KPPU) and the Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC). The research adopts a normative legal method with a comparative approach, utilizing secondary data and descriptive-analytical analysis. The findings reveal similarities in violations governed by Article 15(3)(b) of Indonesian Law No. 5 of 1999 and Article 19(6)(d) of Japan's Antimonopoly Act (AMA), such as the annulment of agreements and orders to cease unlawful practices. Differences are observed in the form of legal decisions, enforcement approaches, and the implementation of legal training programs in Japan. Additionally, while both KPPU and JFTC are independent authorities with similar mandates, JFTC holds the authority to enter business premises, which KPPU lacks. This study offers insights into the implementation of competition law regulations in the two countries.

Abstract

The United Nations has proclaimed the world's commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the Paris Agreement, and Indonesia has a net zero emissions target by 2060. One of the efforts to support this commitment is by applying environmentally friendly fishing vessel technology using sail and electric propulsion. However, to convince the application, it is necessary to consider several aspects, especially the economic aspect of business investment. This study aims to calculate the estimated cost of boatbuilding and fishing operations for 10 days in the Java Sea using the development of electric sailboat design. The payback period of a feasible investment is then calculated by comparing the revenue from Blue Swimming Crab (BSC) fishing activities. Based on the result, recognizing that with an investment value of nearly 400 thousand USD to purchase the boat, it is reasonable to set a minimum goal of capturing at least 1,2 Ton of crabs per trip, and a minimum of 20 trips annually, thus the payback period takes 10 years. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of a mathematical problem- solving ability of college student who takes learning by using interactive quiz method, students who take learning by using the conventional learning model conducted by researchers at the third-semester college students University State of Islamic Studies Raden Intan Lampung. This research is a quantitative type of experimentation with Quasi-Experimental Design. Hypothesis test using T-test and got a conclusion that interactive quiz method better than conventional learning model. Based on the results of analysis and discussion of research data obtained that there is the influence on learning achievement between students whose class apply the method of interactive quizzes, students in class apply the conventional learning model on the subject of Trigonometry.

Abstract

Literasi sangatlah penting untuk ana usia dini khususnya dalam belajar memahami cerita. Kemampuan peserta didik dapat dicapai Ketika guru mampu mengajar dengan kreatif. Kompetensi guru di lingkungan sekolah Pendidikan anak Usia Dini di PTT Bunga Teratai membutuhkan peningkatan kemampuan mendongeng. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas mutu mendongeng bagi guru PPT Bunga Teratai dengan berbasis Higher Order Thinking Skills. Pelatihan dilaksanakan pada akhir tahun 2021 dengan memberikan workshop secara luring di PPT Bunga Teratai. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan metode penelitian kualitatif yang berlangsung dalam latar ilmiah, narasumber merupakan instrument utama dan analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif.  Hasil dari workshop ditemukan bahwa ada peningkatan pengetahuan dalam mendongeng dan bertambahnya wawasan para guru dalam pengajaran bagaimana suatu dongeng dapat diceritakan dengan kritis dan analitis yang dapat disesuaikan dengan konteks perkembangan anak pada era digital saat ini. Pengabdian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi bidang ilmu kesusastraan. Guru dapat menyusun sebuah karya melalui improvisasi dongeng berbasis HOTS dengan memberikan makna dan melihat dari sudut pandang yang lebih positif.

Abstract

This community service activity is carried out to increase the capacity of human resources (HR) and simple accounting-based financial management for MSME actors in Harjosari II. Many micro and small business actors do not have an adequate understanding of financial management and HR management, so they often face various obstacles in running and developing their businesses. Through this activity, the participants were given hands-on training on the importance of systematic financial records and strategies in managing human resources more effectively. The implementation method includes identifying the needs of MSME actors, preparing training materials, implementing training, and evaluating. From the activities that have been carried out, the results show that the majority of participants have increased understanding and awareness in implementing better management practices in finance and HR. Thus, this service is expected to be able to make a real contribution in strengthening the competitiveness and sustainability of MSME businesses in Harjosari II.

Abstract

In the research, the focus is on organizations that have transitioned towards digitization across Indonesia. Managing organizational resources is key to understanding the shift from bureaucracy to digital, with the leader's role crucial in optimizing organizational effectiveness. Human resource development emphasizes viewing individuals as assets. This study involves all employees of Public Body X as samples, using a purposive sampling approach. In the context of Indonesia's government digitization policy, institutions already have digital platforms to enhance transparency. The article highlights challenges such as resistance to change, especially within robust bureaucratic structures, underscoring the importance of leaders being flexible and responsive to change demands. Looking ahead, the article emphasizes the significance of leaders with a growth mindset to comprehend and develop their potential in the digital era. Transformation towards a more agile digital system requires innovative strategies and the willingness of organizational members to undergo comprehensive change. In conclusion, leaders understanding digital dynamics can drive organizational effectiveness and efficiency while addressing challenges in the digital era.
