Abstract

"Pentecost" is a common term originating from the Bible centuries ago and marks a significant religious holiday for Christians, commemorating the day the Holy Spirit was bestowed upon Jesus' disciples in Jerusalem, occurring fifty days since the resurrection of Jesus Christ. While Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ with Easter, Pastor J. Sihombing sought to register the term "Pentecost" as a trademark under class 45, a registration unknown to Pastor Ev. Diane Evapora Siburian and Pastor K. Siburian, leaders of the Pentecostal Church. The court decision resulted in the trademark "Pentecost" being revoked. This article discusses the legal aspects of registering "Pentecost" as a trademark. The research conducted is normative, descriptive, utilizing secondary data processed qualitatively to draw deductive conclusions. The conclusion drawn is that "Pentecost" cannot be registered as a trademark. It does not denote a product or service but rather references a Christian religious day and is part of a movement/branch within Christianity.

Abstract

X Bank, a foreign owned private bank operating in Indonesia since May 15, 1959, has embraced technology in its business operations in response to advancements in the digital era. This practice aims to enhance convenience and efficiency in service provided to its customers, including through m-banking service. However, issues may arise in the practice, such as a case of a customer whose funds are lost due to transactions through the X Bank’s m-banking service. The main problem is X Bank’s responsibility towards the loss suffered by Customer Y, a user of X Bank’s mobile banking platform, that was resulted from transaction transfers through the X Bank’s m-banking application. Based on research, it was found that X Bank’s internal regulations hadn’t aligned with banking related regulations. X Bank is not liable for the loss experienced by Customer Y, and no sanctions are imposed on X Bank by The Financial Services Authority as a result of the discrepancy that led to the loss suffered by Customer Y.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine how the price, distribution and promotion influence on purchase decisions. This research is a simple random sampling, the number of object is 50 sample. The research method used in this research is deskriptive quantitative approaches supported qualitative method.The sampling in this study using sampling technique Probability Sampling. The software used to process and analyze the data of this study was SPSS version 23.0.Based on the result of t test analysis, it is known that tcount<ttable is 0.014<2.012with significance 0.989,so decision taken is Ho accepted and Ha rejected. These results indicate that the price partially does not give significant effect on Purchase Decisionsat PT Enseval Putera Megatrading, Tbk. Based on the result of t test analysis, it is known that tcount> ttable is 4.792 > 2.012with significance 0.000, so the decision taken is Ho rejected and Ha accepted. These results indicate that partially distribution has significant effect on Purchase Decisionsat PT Enseval Putera Megatrading, Tbk. Based on the result of ttest analysis, it is known that tcount> ttable is 1.143 < 2.012with significance 0.259,so decision taken is Ho accepted and Ha rejected. These results indicate that the promotion partially does not give significant effect on Purchase Decisionsat PT Enseval Putera Megatrading, Tbk. Based on the result of F test analysis, it is known that Fcount> Ftable 13.658>2.574 with significance value 0.001, so that decision taken is Ho refused and Ha accepted. These results indicate that all independent variables (Price, Distribution and Promotion) influence simultaneously or together to give to the performance of Purchase Decisionsat PT Enseval Putera Megatrading, Tbk.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Bidan mempunyai peranan penting dalam membantu perempuan dan keluarganya memahami proses kehamilan, persalinan, dan pascapersalinan, serta memberikan informasi tentang perawatan kesehatan yang tepat untuk  menjaga kesehatan ibu dan bayi sehingga, Pemenuhan tugas tersebut menjadi indikator penilaian masyarakat terhadap pelayanan tenaga bidan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi sikap masyarakat terhadap pelayanan tenaga bidan di Desa Purnama Kecamatan Kecamatan Permata Intan Kabupaten Murung Raya.Metode: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sikap masyarakat mengenai pelayana Kesehatan bidan di Desa Purnama Kecamatan Permata Intan Kabupaten Murung RayaHasil: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian secara kuantitatif. Popolasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh masyarakat di Desa Purnama Kecamatan Permata Intan Kabupaten Murung Raya yang berjumlah 598 (lima ratus sebilan puluh delapan), sampelya berjumlah 30 orang dengan Teknik Purvosive Sampling.Kesimpulan: Respon masyarakat kepada tenaga bidan di Desa Purnama rata-rata menjawab “baik” dalam memberikan pelayanan Kesehatan (63.3%).

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Menurut WHO 810 wanita meninggal setiap hari karena Preeklampsia dan Eklampsia (2020). Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi kejadian preeklampsia pada ibu hamil di wilayah kerja RS Dr. R Soeharsono Banjarmasin.Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Kualitatif (Wawancara langsung kepada responden), jumlah sampel 8 orang ibu hamil. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Accedental sampling. Penelitian dilakukan di RS Dr. R Soeharsono Banjarmasin bulan Maret 2023.Hasil: Semua responden mengalami Preeklamsia, Usia responden kebanyakan melbihi 35 tahun, Jumlah anak ada 7 Responden yang memiliki anak lebih lebih dari 1 ada 7 orang dan satu orang ibu hamil yang sedang hamil anak pertama. Jarak kehamilan ada 6 responden yang jarak kehamilannya melebihi dari 3 tahun, satu responden yang kurang dari 2 tahun dan satu responden yang baru hamil pertama. Pendidikan terakir responden ada 7 orang yang berpendidikan menengah dan satu orang yang berpendidikan tinggi.Kesimpulan: Pola makan responden semuanya cukup. Pola aktivitas responden yaitu ada 6 orang responden beraktivitas mengerjakan pekerjaan rumah dan ada 2 orang responden yang mengatakan siangnya bekerja. Pola istirahat responden semuanya mengatakan waktu istirahat mereka cukup selama masa kehamilan.

Abstract

Di era teknologi informasi saat ini telah banyak aplikasi desain grafis yang dapat digunakan untuk membuat brosur informatif sebagai media promosi usaha.Salah satu aplikasi desain grafis yang sangat populer dan banyak digunakan untuk membuat brosur informatif sebagai media promosi usaha adala Adobe Photoshop atau sering disebut dengan Photoshop. Adapun tujuan dilakukannya pengabdian ini yaitu untuk melakukan pelatihan pembuatan brosur informatif sebagai media promosi usaha bengkel las dengan aplikasi photoshop. Pengabdian ini dilakukan di Bengkel Las Tambund Jhaya. Bengkel Las Tambund Jhaya sejauh ini masih mengandalkan media promosi yang bersifat konvesnional, sehingga masih sulit untuk menjangkau calon pelanggan secara luas. Pelatihan yang kami lakukan mengenai penggunaan aplikasi Photoshop untuk membuat brosur informasi sebagai media promosi bengkel las ini dapat memberikan kontribusi yang sangat berarti bagi bengkel las Tambund Jhaya dalam meningkatkan softskill mereka dalam membuat brosur informasi dengan menggunakan aplikasi desain grafis photoshop. Dapat dijadikan sebagai alat promosi yang menarik untuk menarik perhatian dan minat konsumen. Selain itu, soft skill dalam mendesain brosur informasi dapat membantu Bengkel Las Tambund Jhaya menghemat biaya dan mempromosikan usahanya ke masyarakat luas agar tetap kompetitif dengan kompetitor.

Abstract

Dumai Port is a significant natural port in Sumatra, characterized by deep waters sheltered from waves and calm currents due to surrounding islands. It plays a crucial role in the export of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and the operations of Pertamina's RU II, which are expected to increase, leading to a rise in ship traffic. In response to this growing vessel traffic, this paper analyzes ship collision frequency and models the dispersion of oil spills as a potential consequence. The ship collision analysis utilizes the Integrated Waterway Risk Assessment Program (IWRAP), combining vessel traffic data over a year with the port's bathymetric data. The analysis revealed a total collision frequency of 0.589766 across various scenarios, including head-on, overtaking, crossing, bending, and merging, which is considered acceptable as it falls below the threshold of one collision per year. Additionally, oil spill trajectory modeling was conducted using two types of oil and two wave heights. In the 2000 m³ oil spill modeling at a height of 0.5 m, the crude oil model showed 68.4% still floating, while the product oil model had 41.7% floating. In the 1.5 m modeling, the crude oil model had 29% floating, and the product oil model had 16.2% floating. Based on these results, the chosen cleanup methods include oil booms, skimming, and dispersants. Effective oil spill cleanup requires collaboration among various stakeholders to ensure the process is carried out efficiently and accurately.

Abstract

Mobile Banking Channel or m banking is a facility provided by banks in the form of an application with various features to provide convenience in conducting financial transactions. One of the financial transaction features in addition to business needs is a non-business feature. This is to echo payments in the digital era as a banking commitment to support the steps of the government and stakeholders to increase public awareness to improve the economy. This study aims to test the influence of public interest and behavior on the interest and behavior of making payments using the m banking application online. This study uses a quantitative method, consisting of empirical data and obtained by filling out a questionnaire of 55 respondents from bank customers. The results of the study showed that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, facilitating conditions and social influence have a positive and significant influence on Use Behavior. Based on the results of the tests carried out, each P-Value of the variable is 0.000 which indicates that the P-Values ​​<0.05, therefore all hypotheses are accepted. That Performance Expectancy has a significant effect on Use Behavior, Effort expectancy has a significant effect on Use Behavior, Social influence has a significant effect on Use Behavior and Facilitating conditions have a significant effect on Use Behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using manipulative learning media on the learning motivation of 5th graders at SDN 3 Gunngsari in the 2020/2021 school year. This research is motivated by the use of manipulative learning media in increasing students' learning motivation. Data collection methods used are Observation, Documentation, and Questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique and inferential analysis technique. Descriptive data analysis technique is distribution, while inferential analysis technique is using Test (t) , and Sie Effect. The results of the normality test showed that the data was normally distributed, and the results of the homogeneity test obtained homogeneous data, while the results of the Hypothesis Test showed that there was a significant influence on the use of manipulative learning media on the learning motivation of 5th grade students at SDN 3 Gunungsari in the 2020/2021 academic year. This can be seen from the results of observations of the implementation of the use of manipulative learning media in the experimental group, namely in the first treatment a total score of 77.5 with good criteria, while in the second treatment the total score obtained was 82.5 with very good criteria. sig. (2-tailed) value is 0.005 < 0.05 or t count is greater than t table, because there are ( t count 3,525 and t table 1,8125 with df 10 with alpha 0.05, which means that there is a difference which is significant, and the effect size test shows a high influence, and there is an effect of the use of manipulative learning media on the learning motivation of 5th graders at SDN 3 Gunungsari in the 2020/2021 academic year.

Abstract

Agreements among business actors are common in the context of competition law in Indonesia and Japan. However, such agreements may be considered violations if they restrict competitors in the market, such as exclusive dealing on pricing or discounts. This study aims to describe the similarities and differences in the enforcement of laws by the Indonesia Competition Commission (KPPU) and the Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC). The research adopts a normative legal method with a comparative approach, utilizing secondary data and descriptive-analytical analysis. The findings reveal similarities in violations governed by Article 15(3)(b) of Indonesian Law No. 5 of 1999 and Article 19(6)(d) of Japan's Antimonopoly Act (AMA), such as the annulment of agreements and orders to cease unlawful practices. Differences are observed in the form of legal decisions, enforcement approaches, and the implementation of legal training programs in Japan. Additionally, while both KPPU and JFTC are independent authorities with similar mandates, JFTC holds the authority to enter business premises, which KPPU lacks. This study offers insights into the implementation of competition law regulations in the two countries.
