Abstract

Electronic modules are electronic learning media that are systematically arranged and include competencies that will be mastered by students and are equipped with an attractive appearance. Problem-based learning is a learning strategy that focuses on improving students' ability to learn and collaborate in groups to find solutions to problems in the surrounding environment. This study aims to describe the implementation of learning and student activities using e-modules based on problem-based learning of digestive system material. This study used the research and development (R&D) method modified by Sugiyono (2017). Data collection techniques used observation sheets of learning implementation and student activity sheets. The problem-based learning e-module trial was conducted on a limited scale. The subjects in this study were 15 students of Class XI 1 SMA Negeri 1 Tapa. The results of the study found that the practicality test based on the percentage of learning implementation was 88.7% in the "very good" category and student activity was 91.6% in the "very good" category. Based on the study results, it can be concluded that the e-module based on problem-based learning of digestive system material has met the practical criteria so it is feasible to use in biology learning.

Abstract

This research aims to get interactive e-book learning media  oriented to science literacy skills on immune system material. The e-book learning criteria  produced in this study have been valid, practical, and effective. This type of research is development research that uses 4D models (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). This study used 6 instruments, namely: interview instruments, validation instruments, student response instruments, learning implementation assessment instruments, student activity assessment instruments, and learning outcome assessment instruments (pre-test and post-test). The results found that the validity test based on the assessment results of validators of material experts, media experts, question experts and teachers obtained x ̅ scores of 98%, 97%, 93.33%  and 91.33% (very good) respectively. The practicality test for the results of learning implementation in this study was the first meeting and the second meeting got a score of x ̅ 97%, the results of student activities in the first and second meetings got a score of x ̅  respectively 87%, and 90%, and the results of student responses in this study got a  score x ̅ is 86% (all of those results belong to the "very practical" category). The effectiveness test based on the results of N-Gain analysis in this study received a value of 0.80 (effective). The author concludes  that the interactive e-book developed is valid, practical, and effectively used in the Biology learning process at SMA Negeri 2 Gorontalo

Abstract

Online learning is a learning system that uses internet media in the learning process. Applications that are usually used in online learning are WhatsApp, Youtube, google meet, google Classroom, and other online media. This study aims to determine the difficulties experienced by students during the online learning process on excretory system material at SMP Negeri 2 Pinogaluman. The subjects of the study were classes VIIIA and VIIIB SMP Negeri 2 Pinogaluman for the 2021/2022 Academic Year with a total of 40 respondents. The form of research is Quantitative Description. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out  by survey method, namely by distributing questionnaires using internal factors consisting of cognitive, affective, interest, motivation, and intelligence indicators and using external factors consisting of indicators of the family environment, community environment, and government environment to students. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that students experience learning difficulties during the online learning process of excretory system material. The percentage of internal factors and external factors that affect learning difficulties is 66% which indicates that student response is low so that students experience high learning difficulties. Students experience difficulties in cognitive aspects with an average low percentage of  reasoning ability of  49%
