Abstract

This research is motivated by educational problems, especially Islamic religious education for Children with Special Needs (ABK), especially the blind, which are still not maximally given. In addition, blind people in Indonesia occupy the first level in Asia and second level in the world. This study aimed to analyze the role of teachers in instilling moral values in blind children with special needs (ABK) at Special Schools (SLB)-A Pembina Nasional Jakarta. The results of the study show the role of Islamic religious education teachers in instilling moral values in visually impairments at the SLB-A Pembina Jakarta National Level by acting as educators, teachers, directors, and trainers. In carrying out their role, the teacher faced obstacles in obtaining learning resources, visual aids as learning media, and the physical and emotional conditions of ABK. Therefore, it requires strong physical and spiritual readiness for the teacher so that he/she can carry out his/her role properly. The implication of this research is that it is necessary to carry out evaluations and policies to provide learning resources and visual aids so that the teacher's role can be carried out better.

Abstract

This article explores the model of Sufi-based education practiced by Syaikhana Muhammad Kholil of Bangkalan, a charismatic Islamic scholar renowned for his sainthood (maq?m al-wil?yah) and spiritual charisma (kar?mah). The study focuses on his approach to spiritual formation, which goes beyond formal-institutional structures and emphasizes the inner relationship between murshid (spiritual guide) and mur?d (disciple). Using a qualitative descriptive method and literature review, this article reveals that Syaikhana Kholil’s educational model was rooted in exemplary conduct, prayer, spiritual discipline, and deep mystical experiences. His karamah is seen not merely as supernatural phenomena, but as an educational tool for shaping the spiritual character of his students. This model reflects a form of esoteric and transcendental knowledge transmission, based on inner unveiling (muk?shafah). The study concludes that Syaikhana Kholil’s karamah-based Sufi education represents a unique form of tarbiyah in the pesantren tradition, capable of producing intellectually and spiritually mature scholars and da'wah figures.

Abstract

Bobot badan merupakan indikator untuk mengetahui produktivitas ternak domba karena penting digunakan dalam penentuan bibit ternak, pakan ternak, pemotongan ternak dan menggambarkan kualitas ternak. Pendugaan bobot badan melalui ukuran ternak merupakan alternatif cara untuk mengetahui bobot badan ternak selain dengan penimbangan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan analisis model korelasi dan regresi yang tepat untuk menduga bobot badan domba Sakub betina menggunakan ukuran-ukuran tubuh ternak. Domba yang digunakan sebanyak 35 ekor domba betina usia 2-3 tahun yang dipelihara secara intensif oleh peternak rakyat di Desa Pandansari, Kabupaten Brebes, Jawa Tengah. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survey dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, pengukuran tubuh dan penimbangan bobot badan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis korelasi dan regresi menggunakan SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata bobot badan adalah 48,46±5,88 kg; panjang badan 66,2±6,60 cm; lingkar dada 88,68±6,06 cm; dan tinggi pundak 67±3,84 cm. Nilai koefisien korelasi panjang badan, lingkar dada dan tinggi pundak terhadap bobot badan secara berturut-turut adalah 0,731; 0,712; 0,443. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah ukuran tubuh ternak menunjukkan korelasi yang positif terhadap bobot dan memiliki persamaan regresi yang dapat digunakan sebagai alat untuk menduga bobot badan domba Sakub betina.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. This study aims to explore the differences between beef cattle farming systems in Java and Sumba. The research was conducted using a survey method in three districts, two districts in Central Java and one district in Sumba Island, NTT. Data analysis used a descriptive qualitative approach, with the CATWOE Analysis framework to determine the perspectives of stakeholders involved in the beef cattle farming business system. Beef cattle farming in Java has been characterized by a cut and carry system, while in Sumba with a pasture grazing system. The research shows that the main purpose of cattle rearing in Java is to generate income for the family, so more and more are running enlargement and fattening businesses. Cattle rearing in Sumba is prioritized for savings for traditional purposes. Farmers in Sumba predominantly breed cattle without additional feed to save on maintenance costs. Farmers are still faced with the problem of unfairness in pricing. The study concluded that farmers show adaptive ability in allocating their resources to obtain profits. Differences in farming paradigms need to be considered in the preparation of livestock development programs.(Studi eksploratif pada sistem pemeliharaan sapi potong: analisis komparatif pada sistem cut and carry di jawa dengan sistem penggembalaan pastura di pulau Sumba, Indonesia)ABSTRAK. Peternakan sapi potong di Jawa selama ini dicirikan dengan cut and carry sistem, sedangkan di Sumba dengan sistem penggembalaan di pastura. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan eksplorasi lebih mendalam tentang perbedaan sistem usaha peternakan sapi potong di Jawa dengan di Sumba. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survey di tiga kabupaten, dua kabupaten di Jawa Tengah dan satu kabupaten di Pulau Sumba, NTT. Analisis data menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, dengan kerangka CATWOE Analysis untuk mengetahui perspektif dari para stakeholders yang terlibat dalam sistem usaha peternakan sapi potong. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tujuan utama pemeliharaan sapi di Jawa adalah untuk menghasilkan pendapatan untuk keluarga, sehingga semakin banyak yang lebih menjalankan usaha pembesaran dan penggemukan. Pemeliharaan sapi di Sumba lebih diutamakan untuk tabungan untuk keperluan adat. Peternak di Sumba didominasi pembiakan sapi tanpa tambahan pakan untuk menghemat biaya pemeliharaan. Peternak masih dihadapkan pada permasalahan ketidakadilan dalam penentuan harga. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa peternak menunjukkan kemampuan adaptif dalam mengalokasikan sumber daya yang dimiliki untuk memperoleh keuntungan. Perbedaan paradigma beternak perlu untuk diperhatikan dalam penyusunan program pembangunan peternakan.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan program dan kegiatan pengembangan klaster sapi potong. Peternakan rakyat sapi potong yang tergabung dalam kelompok tani ternak dan masuk kategori Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) dilibatkan pada penelitian ini. Variabel-variabel yang terkait dengan program dan kegiatan penguatan UMKM Sapi Potong dikoleksi. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan Root Cause Analysis. Program dan kegiatan pengembangan klaster sapi potong mencakup (i) program penguatan kelembagaan kelompok, (ii) program penguatan teknologi peternakan dan (iii) program penguatan akses pembiayaan perbankan. Program penguatan kelembagaan kelompok melalui kegiatan pendidikan dan pelatihan, peningkatan kerjasama (untuk penyediaan pakan dan modal, penanggulangan penyakit, pemasaran), peningkatan pertemuan antar anggota kelompok dan lembaga lain, peningkatan penguasaan teknologi diversifikasi. Program penguatan teknologi peternakan dengan kegiatan pelatihan berbagai teknologi peternakan, studi banding dan magang, pendampingan penerapan proven teknologi berorientasi peningkatan fisibilitas usaha. Untuk program penguatan akses pembiayaan perbankan berupa kegiatan sosialisasi pembiayaan perbankan dan pendampingan akses pembiayaan perbankan.(Beef cattle development through beef cattle cluster program: description of programs and activities)ABSTRACT. The purpose of this study was to describe the design of programs and activities of beef cattle clusters. Beef cattle farmer group (Micro Small Medium Enterprises, MSME) were involved in this study. Variables related to program and activities for empowering MSME were collected. Descriptive and Root Cause Analysis were applied in this study. The design of program and activities for beef cattle cluster include (i) program of empowering farmer groups, (ii) programs for strengthening livestock technology, and (iii) programs for increasing accessibility getting financial support from the bank. Program of empowering farmer groups involved education and training, increasing cooperation (for feeding capital, disease control, marketing), increasing cooperation among farmer group members and other institutions, transfer technology. Programs for strengthening livestock technology by activities such as training of livestock technologies, internship, provide proven technology for improving feasibility. The socialization of financial scheme, and assistance activities were involved for accelerating financial support from the bank.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of School Self-Evaluation (SSE) as a strategic initiative to improve educational quality at SD Negeri 1 Kebonharjo, Kendal Regency. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis involving school stakeholders, including the principal, teachers, and school committee members. The findings indicate that the school has initiated a structured SSE process, beginning with data collection and needs analysis, which has led to the formulation of follow-up improvement plans. SSE has been instrumental in identifying institutional strengths and weaknesses, serving as a foundation for targeted quality improvement programs aligned with national education standards. The principal plays a pivotal role in facilitating the evaluation process, conducting academic supervision, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Despite these efforts, the study highlights challenges such as limited parental and committee engagement, as well as the pressures of external accountability. The research highlights the importance of stakeholder capacity-building and the need for enhanced collaboration among school stakeholders to ensure sustainability and impact. This study contributes to the growing body of literature on internal quality assurance mechanisms in primary education, offering practical insights for schools seeking to institutionalize self-evaluation as part of their development strategy

Abstract

Kajian metodologi pendidikan Islam kontemporer masih didominasi pendekatan deskriptif-normatif dan belum secara sistematis menempatkan Al-Qur’an dan Hadits sebagai sumber metodologis utama. Kondisi ini menyebabkan belum terbentuknya kerangka teoretis metode pendidikan Islam yang dirumuskan secara akademik. Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis metode pendidikan Islam yang bersumber dari Al-Qur’an dan Hadits serta kontribusinya terhadap pengembangan metodologi pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian kepustakaan melalui analisis ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an, Hadits Nabi, dan literatur ilmiah terkait. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Al-Qur’an dan Hadits memuat beragam metode pendidikan, antara lain tabligh, dakwah, amtsal (perumpamaan), targhib dan tarhib, pendekatan lemah lembut, pembiasaan, pengulangan, serta pemecahan masalah. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa metodologi pendidikan Islam bersifat holistik dan aplikatif serta berkontribusi dalam memperkuat landasan teoretis pengembangan metode pendidikan Islam berbasis sumber normatif yang dianalisis secara akademik.   Contemporary studies on Islamic educational methodology are largely dominated by descriptive and normative approaches and have not systematically positioned the Qur’an and the Hadith as primary methodological sources. This condition has resulted in the lack of a clearly formulated theoretical framework for Islamic educational methods grounded in normative Islamic texts. This article aims to analyze Islamic educational methods derived from the Qur’an and the Hadith and to examine their contribution to the development of Islamic educational methodology. This study employs a qualitative approach with a library research design through the analysis of Qur’anic verses, Prophetic traditions, and relevant scholarly literature. The findings show that the Qur’an and the Hadith contain various educational methods, including tabligh, da‘wah, parables (amtsal), targhib and tarhib, gentle approaches, habituation, repetition, and problem-solving. These findings demonstrate that Islamic educational methodology is holistic and applicable and contribute to strengthening its theoretical foundation through an academic analysis of normative Islamic sources.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the implementation of religious moderation education at SMA Negeri 5 Depok through the lens of socio-constructivism. It focuses on school policies related to religious moderation and the strategies employed by religious education teachers in transmitting these values to students. Using a qualitative descriptive approach based on Lev Vygotsky’s socio-constructivist theory, data were collected through interviews with the principal, vice principal for curriculum affairs, religious education teachers, and students, as well as documentation including questionnaires, the school’s official website, curriculum documents, textbooks, and relevant articles. The findings reveals that SMA Negeri 5 Depok integrates the principles of religious moderation into its vision, mission, and school activities within its diverse religious environment. Teachers apply constructive and reflective learning strategies that encourage critical thinking and connecting religious values with social contexts. The learning process incorporates discussions, presentations, and case studies on intolerance, radicalism, and interreligious conflict. Positive social interactions between teachers and students support the growth of tolerance and religious harmony. In conclusion, religious moderation at SMA Negeri 5 Depok is practiced not only in formal lessons but also across school culture, fostering inclusivity and respect for religious diversity.
