Abstract

Since decentralization was reinforced in 1999, local politicians have exploited local policies to enhance their popularity and electability. In this study, I describe the implementation of a food security policy to demonstrate how the local arena had undergone massive political dynamics through unintegrated food governance demonstrated by local governments in Makassar City.  This article aims to analyze the dynamic of urban food policy implemented by the municipality from 2013 to 2023. A qualitative approach had been employed through a case study of the implementation of food security policy. Data were collected by snowball method to eminent informants. Also, focus group discussions were employed in certain community groups. This study found that food policy in Makassar City during the study period had shown a political mobilization rather than a pure food security policy to help the community. In the policy planning, the failure was found in the limited technical analysis. The people who dwell in this city were not prepared for agricultural activities, including planting, maintaining the plants, and soil treatment. Also, the typical vegetables that were planted were not suitable for the climatic characteristics of this city. This study also found that media framing was massively exploited to escalate the positive framing of the ‘inclusivity’ of the leadership and attract the people to engage beyond food diversification.  On the other side, as this policy was funded through a discretionary approach, massive negative sentiment had emerged, particularly from the legislative. They felt like an abandoned partner. Consequently, the government should create an alternative mechanism through shadow bureaucrats, designed by the mayor.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Fraktur mandibula merupakan fraktur pada tulang wajah yang paling sering terjadi. Fraktur ini dapat terjadi akibat kecelakaan lalu lintas, olah raga, bermain, perkelahian, kegiatan profesi ,atau bahkan saat latihan peperangan. Berbagai metode perawatan telah dilakukan untuk mempercepat penyembuhan fraktur mandibula. Pemberian stem cells saat ini  merupakan salah satu alternatif perawatan pada fraktur karena stem cells mempunyai kemampuan self-renewal dan diferensiasi yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis literatur mengenai peranan pemberian stem cells terhadap percepatan regenerasi tulang pada fraktur mandibula. Metode: Rapid review dilakukan pada bulan Februari 2021 hingga April 2021. Pencarian artikel mengacu pada pedoman analisis PRISMA dengan menggunakan  strategi PICO melalui database PubMed, Sciences Direct, dan Google Scholar dengan kriteria inklusi berbahasa inggris dari tahun 2011 hingga 2021 serta membahas peranan pemberian stem cells terhadap percepatan regenerasi tulang pada fraktur mandibula. Artikel diseleksi berdasarkan duplikasi, judul dan abstrak, serta keseluruhan isi artikel. Hasil: Dihasilkan 4 artikel penelitian yang menyatakan bahwa kelompok yang diberi stem cells memiliki durasi penyembuhan dan kemampuan penyatuan tulang yang lebih cepat. Kesimpulan: penelitian literatur ini menunjukkan bahwa stem cells berperan dalam proses regenerasi tulang yang terlihat dari terbentuknya kepadatan tulang serta penyembuhan fraktur lebih cepat.Kata Kunci: Stem cells, Regenerasi Tulang, Fraktur mandibula

Abstract

Limit fungsi trigonometri merupakan salah satu materi matematika yang sulit dipahami oleh siswa. Sementara itu, pembelajaran berbasis proyek menjadi model pembelajaran yang direkomendasikan menjelang pelaksanaan Kurikulum Merdeka secara holistik. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap prestasi belajar siswa, khususnya pada materi limit fungsi trigonometri sesuai dengan silabus Kurikulum 2013. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 34 orang siswa kelas XII tahun ajaran 2021/2022, yaitu siswa yang menerima pembelajaran konvensional (sebagai anggota kelompok kontrol), dan 33 orang siswa kelas XII tahun ajaran 2022/2023, yaitu siswa yang menerima pembelajaran berbasis proyek (sebagai anggota kelompok perlakuan) yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik penyampelan acak sederhana, di SMA Santo Paulus Pontianak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengaruh pelaksanaan berbasis proyek terhadap prestasi belajar siswa dapat diketahui dengan membandingkan nilai rata-rata penilaian tengah semester ganjil yang diperoleh siswa pada dua angkatan tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap prestasi belajar siswa yang terukur dari diperolehnya nilai statistik-t sebesar -2,0541 (nilai-p sebesar 0,04421). Secara spesifik, nilai rata-rata penilaian tengah semester siswa yang menerima pembelajaran berbasis proyek lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang menerima pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis proyek dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa, khususnya pada materi limit fungsi trigonometri, sehingga dapat menjadi model pembelajaran yang direkomendasikan dalam rangka menyongsong Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

Bridges have a central role as routes that connect between regions, one of which is Permata Jangli Housing Phase 2. Because of the importance of this connectivity, community dedication to repairing bridges is a major concern in efforts to maintain the safety and sustainability of the bridge. This community service examines repair methods for the retaining walls around the bridge to avoid the potential for the bridge to be eroded by water flow. Through the active participation of community members and the implementation of appropriate construction techniques, the results of this collaboration show that the retaining walls around the bridge have been successfully repaired, as well as increasing their resistance to water pressure and erosion. The success of this community service not only improves the quality of life of local residents by ensuring sustainable connectivity, but also empowers communities in efforts to preserve their vital infrastructure. This community service can be an inspiring example for similar efforts in similar housing complexes that face similar challenges in maintaining important infrastructure such as bridges. This underlines the important role of community service in maintaining infrastructure as a key aspect in sustainable development in urban housing.

Abstract

2022 is the beginning of offline learning after the Covid-19 pandemic. where previously learning was carried out online including practicums. One of the practicums carried out in the Semarang State Polytechnic Civil Engineering department is the masonry practicum which is carried out for semester 1 students. With the offline masonry practicum, the practicum will leave behind brick fragments that can no longer be used. These broken bricks will usually be thrown away at the end of each semester after all the practicums have been carried out. the proportion of brick fragments to intact bricks usually reaches 30% to 40%. The construction workers come from the Ngadirgo community, they learn building work autodidactically based on experience. With the continued development of BSB, there are quite a lot of employment opportunities, including development workers. Techniques and methods of masonry work that comply with construction standards can increase the ability of craftsmen to become skilled workers so that it is hoped that they can improve the welfare of the community around Ngadirgo sub-district, Mijen sub-district. Ngadirgo sub-district currently has a village cemetery which is located in Ngadirgo hamlet RW 2, in this cemetery there is no coffin house which is used to store death equipment including the coffin which is currently still entrusted to one of the residents' house. With the existence of coffin house products made from brick masonry in the village cemetery area.

Abstract

Construction prioritizes the strength of concrete without thinking about the negative impact on the environment. The cement industry is estimated to contribute 5-7% of CO2 gas emissions in the world. On the other hand, Indonesia is also faced with environmental problems caused by various industrial waste. From this problem an innovation emerged, namely ABUTA (husk ash and brick ash). The aim of this innovation is to create a concrete innovation using Abuta Waste (Rice Husk Ash, and Brick Powder). For the manufacture of economical, environmentally friendly concrete to reduce the negative impacts caused by excessive use of cement and reduce industrial waste in Indonesia. In writing this proposal the author used the experimental writing method and data collection method. The concrete innovation applied is concrete with a mixture of variations in the composition of rice husk ash powder and red brick powder of 10% of the cement composition in conventional concrete so that it is more economical and environmentally friendly. In this study, the ACI (American Concrete Institute) mix design method was used with the required design quality of 30 MPa. It is hoped that this innovation can become an environmentally friendly concrete innovation to reduce the negative impacts of excessive cement use and reduce industrial waste in Indonesia. Based on the mix design, the proportion of ash mixture (rice husk ash and brick powder) is 1:1. Meanwhile, the ratio of the amount of ash mixture to cement is 10%: 90%. The compressive strength of concrete with a 0% Abuta mix variation (7 days old) was 19.5, while the concrete innovation with a 10% Abuta mix variation (7 days old) was 15.70 Mpa. This means that the 10% mixture reduces the compressive strength value by 46.28% below the 0% abuta mixture variation. Using a mixture of 10% ash (rice husk ash and brick powder) in innovative concrete can reduce production costs by IDR. 76,700/m ³. Based on the materials obtained in this manufacture, it can be concluded that to obtain optimal compressive strength, better quality materials are needed. The application of concrete can be applied in casting work floors and non-structural construction work such as buildings that require general load power such as housing, sculpture, home interiors and others.

Abstract

Tanah merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam konstruksi yang memerlukan perhatian saat perencanaan yang berhubungan dengan daya dukung pondasi, stabilitas lereng, tekanan tanah lateral serta bangunan sipil lainya. Sehingga banyak kejadian kegagalan struktur geoteknik terjadi saat kondisi tanah paling kritis. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini dirancang untuk mempelajari bagaimana pengaruh variasi kadar air terhadap kekuatan tanah pada kondisi normal dan jenuh sempurna. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimental di Laboratorium Mekanika Tanah Politeknik Negeri Semarang. Peningkatan variasi nilai infiltrasi dilakukan dengan cara merendam sampel tanah dalam cawan. Setelah dilakukan pemeraman, kemudian sampel tanah diuji triaksial UU. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada awal penjenuhan penyerapan air maksimum akan tercapai (19,6%) dan akan berkurang sebanding dengan lama penjenuhan. Nilai kadar air bertambah mendekati nilai 100% saat penjenuhan berlangsung selama 10 hari. Parameter kuat geser tanah (kohesi) akibat penjenuhan sebesar 0,39 kg/cm2; 0,28 kg/cm2 dan 0,35 kg/cm2. Sedangkan semakin jenuh tanah maka nilai sudut gesek dalam tanah juga menurun mendekati nilai nol, yaitu 11,80o; 12,17o dan 2,76o. Bertambahnya nilai kadar air pada tanah mengakibatkan menurunnya nilai kohesi dan sudut gesek dalam pada tanah. Semakin jenuh tanah (semakin lama penjenuhan) maka sudut gesek dalam tanah mendekati nol dan kohesi tanah lebih kecil dibanding kondisi tanah asli. Sehingga semakin jenuh tanah maka nilai daya dukung tanah tersebut semakin kecil.

Abstract

One of the challenges faced by students from SMK is the learning atmosphere and learning system applied by PTV. This is due to the gap between the SMK curriculum and PTV. State Vocational High School (SMKN) 7 Semarang is one of the vocational schools located in the city of Semarang. SMKN 7 Semarang has 8 expertise competencies, one of which is competence in the field of civil engineering, namely Building Construction, Sanitation and Maintenance (KGSP) and Road, Irrigation, and Bridge Construction (KJIJ). Students of SMKN 7 Semarang already have a basic understanding of civil engineering, but when they enter the PTV world, they still experience difficulties in several fields. Therefore, to bridge and fill the gap from the SMK curriculum to PTV, it is necessary to introduce and train related fields of civil engineering, one of which is field testing. Semarang State Polytechnic as one of the universities has competent human resources to provide solutions to these problems. The PKM team provided introduction and training on the use of hand drill and vane shear tools used for soil testing. The hand drill is used to take disturbed and undisturbed soil samples, while the shear vane is used to determine the shear condition of the soil. After conducting the introduction and training activities, students can better understand how to use the test equipment. In addition, students also understand better in analyzing soil data obtained from testing.

Abstract

Ruas Jalan Tol Semarang ”“ Demak diharapkan dapat mengatasi kemacetan di jalur pantura Semarang-Demak-Surabaya yang sudah melebihi kapasitas. Jalan Tol Semarang ”“ Demak Seksi 2 dibangun di atas tanah lunak dan mempunyai karakteristik daya dukung rendah. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, dipilih konstruksi jalan dengan sistem struktur plat pada tiang (Slab on Pile). Konstruksi plat tiang mempunyai daya dukung yang baik untuk kondisi tanah tersebut, dimana beban konstruksi bagian atas ditahan oleh gaya geser (gaya gesek) sepanjang selimut tiang, Sistem Slab on Pile menggunakan perhitungan kapasitas daya dukung friksi. Penentuan kapasitas daya dukung tiang dapat dilakukan metode empiris: berdasarkan data N-SPT (Standart Penetration Test) menggunakan metode Meyerhoff (1976) dan kontrol akhir dengan data kalendering menggunakan metode Hilley (1930) serta PDA Test ( Pile Driving Analyzer) dengan analisis CAPWAP (Case Pile Wave Analysis Program). Berdasarkan penelitian diperoleh daya dukung kalendering terhadap jumlah segmen dari konfigurasi tiang pancang menunjukkan peningkatan secara linear. Perbandingan daya dukung tiang pancang berdasarkan metode empiris yaitu data N-SPT dengan metode Meyerhoff cenderung memiliki nilai daya dukung yang lebih kecil dari hasil pengujian dinamik melalui PDA. Sedangkan berdasarkan kalendering menggunakan metode Hilley menunjukan nilai daya dukung yang relatif sama dengan PDA, hal ini karena keduanya merupakan tes dinamik.

Abstract

Today's digitalization era demands system transformation in all sectors of life, including the government and bureaucratic sectors. State officials’ competence needs to be improved in order to adjust to the digital government environment (e-government). Education and training are essential for coping with the dynamic environment and enhancing the competency management of Civil Servants (ASN), as mandated by Law Number 5 of 2014 concerning ASN. This necessity has led to the emergence of the Corporate University concept in education and training units. This research aims to assess the relevance of the Corporate University program in developing ASN competencies to meet the challenges of e-government in Indonesia. The research employs descriptive methods and qualitative approaches, with data sourced from literature reviews. Data collection is conducted through documentation methods, and problem analysis utilizes Miles & Huberman's data analysis techniques, which include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the Corporate University program is pertinent to the implementation of e-government, particularly in capacity building for civil servants through integrative learning and e-learning-based training in government agencies. Corporate University can be an effective solution to the need for digitally literate civil servants capable of operating an integrated digital service system, especially within local government, which is the closest government unit to the community.
