Abstract

Teaching aids are one component that determines learning effectiveness. If teachers do not use strategies and utilize teaching aids specifically for science subjects, students will have difficulty capturing and understanding the material provided so that learning objectives are not fully achieved. The use of teaching aids also serves to train students to think more critically and learning will be more interesting because students can see and observe directly the events that occur and their experiences will also increase. However, the development and use of some teaching aids is considered difficult for alumni of science education study programs. This occurs due to the lack of experience and skills of alumni of the science education study program in implementing and making science teaching aids. Therefore, training or workshops are held which aim to improve the quality of learning for partners through workshops (training) in making science teaching aids. The results of the implementation of this activity showed that after a workshop on making teaching aids, the majority of alumni of the science education study program stated that they strongly agreed, while others stated that they agreed to apply teaching aids in the science learning process, whether in physics, biology or chemistry.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah "Apakah penerapan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbantuan media Wordwall dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SDN No. 47 Dumbo Raya?". Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SDN No. 47 Dumbo Raya melalui penerapan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbantuan media Wordwall. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini meliputi observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SDN No. 47 Dumbo Raya yang berjumlah 18 orang, terdiri dari 5 siswa laki-laki dan 13 siswa perempuan. Observasi awal menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan siswa masih sangat rendah, dengan hanya 4 siswa (22%) yang mencapai hasil belajar IPA di atas KKM. Pada pelaksanaan siklus I terjadi peningkatan, yaitu 7 siswa (39%) yang mencapai KKM. Karena belum mencapai kriteria ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 75%, penelitian dilanjutkan ke siklus II. Pada siklus II, terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, dengan 14 siswa (78%) yang mencapai KKM. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbantuan media Wordwall dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SDN No. 47 Dumbo Raya.

Abstract

Urgensi permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu minimnya media ajar dan variasi model pembelajaran berdampak pada rendahnya pemahaman dan minat siswa terhadap materi zat tunggal dan campuran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan Pengaruh Model Project Based Learning Berbantuan Media Sederhana Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa IPA Di Kelas V SDN 3 Kabila Bone. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Penggunaan metode pre-experimental design dengan desain one group pretest posttest. Variabel bebas penelitian ini adalah model project based learning berbantuan media sederhana dan variable terikat adalah hasil belajar siswa. pengujian hipotesis penelitian ini menggunakan uji paired sampel t-test. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis yang telah dilakukan menunjukan nilai thitung = -12 ≥ ttabel 1,782 dengan kriteria apabila nilai thitung lebih kecil dari ttabel maka H0 diterima dan H1 ditolak atau dapat dilihat berdasarkan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000 ≤ 0,05 dengan kriteria apabila nilai sig lebih kecil dari pada 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Berdasarkan kedua kriteria diatas dapat disimpulkan H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima yang berarti terdapat Pengaruh Model Project Based Learning berbantuan media sederhana terhadap hasil belajar siswa IPA di kelas V SDN 3 kabila bone.

Abstract

Abdul Holik Kurniawan Wuwungan, 2024. Development of Interactive Learning Media on Human Growth and Development Based on Gamification in Grade V at SDN 4 Anggrek, Gorontalo Utara Regency. The Principal Supervisor is Prof. Dr. Abdul Haris Panai, M.Pd., MCE., and The Co-Supervisor is Dr. Irvin Novita Arifin, S.Pd., M.Pd. This study aimed to (1) develop Interactive Learning Media on Human Growth and Development Based on Gamification in Grade V at SDN 4 Anggrek, Gorontalo Utara Regency, and (2) assess the feasibility and practicality of the Interactive Learning Media on Human Growth and Development Based on Gamification in Grade V at SDN 4 Anggrek, Gorontal Utara Regency. This study was conducted at SDN 4 Anggrek, Gorontalo Utara Regency, using the 4D model development approach. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, and questionnaires. Moreover, the data were then analyzed using a Likert scale. The study resulted in a product in the form of interactive learning media based on gamification for human growth and development in grade V at SDN 4 Anggrek, Gorontalo Utara Regency. Feasibility tests conducted by experts yielded an average score of 90.7%, categorized as "Highly Feasible" However, the practicality tests yielded an average score of 92.4%, categorized as "Highly Practical." Thus, the Interactive Learning Media on Human Growth and Development Based on Gamification in Grade V at SDN 4 Anggrek, Gorontalo Utara Regency, developed by the researcher, is deemed feasible and practical for implementation.

Abstract

Adjusting to developments in learning, educators are required to be creative and the quality of human resources must be improved through educational channels using science teaching aids. The research results obtained were that the response from alumni of the program study Science Education UNM before the workshop on making science props was 100% very interested in taking part in the workshop on making props and the response from alumni of program study Science Education UNM after the workshop on making science props was 76.5% of participants after it was held There will be a continuation of the workshop on making science teaching aids to develop teaching aids in science learning in Biology, Physics and Chemistry. Therefore, training or workshops on making science teaching aids were held for alumni of the program study Science Education UNM.

Abstract

Penggunaan alat peraga IPA merupakan format pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan pemahaman dan pemanfaatan IPA ke dalam rangkaian proses belajar mengajar sehingga siswa dapat secara mandiri memperoleh pengetahuan proses. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan yakni respon alumni yang mengetahui tentang design alat peraga, yang menjawab sangat setuju sebesar 64,7%, yang menjawab setuju sebesar 29,4% dan yang lainnya tidak setuju. Dan respon alumni tentang kebermanfaatan alat peraga yang menjawab dengan berbagai respon positif yaitu salah satunya “bermanfaat untuk memudahkan dalam menyampaikan materi".

Abstract

Teaching science through STEAM projects is increasingly popular in Indonesian elementary schools, yet one persistent challenge is the lack of psychometrically validated assessment instruments that match what actually happens in those classrooms. This study developed and validated a three-part STEAM-based assessment package—a conceptual post-test (17 items), a project performance rubric (15 criteria), and a student response questionnaire (25 Likert items)—for use across three hands-on projects: a Stick Bridge (Grade 4/Force), an Energy-Efficient House (Grade 5/Energy), and a Simple Flashlight (Grade 6/Electricity). Two expert validators assessed content validity using Aiken's V, and 102 students from SDN 2 Tapa and SDN 3 Batudaa in Gorontalo completed the instruments as part of an empirical field trial. Results showed strong content validity (V̄ = 0.812), acceptable reliability for the 16-item valid questionnaire scale (α = 0.732), and a positive student response rate of 76.9%. Rasch Rating Scale Model analysis revealed that all items fell in the negative logit range, indicating a person-item gap that points toward a need for more challenging items in future revisions. A significant difference between schools was found for individual post-test scores (p = 0.018). These findings confirm that the instruments are content-valid, reliable, and practically usable in Indonesian elementary science classrooms, while also providing clear directions for refinement.

Abstract

The problem formulation in this study was: “Can the multiplication calculation skills of third-grade students at SDN 56 Kota Timur be improved through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by multiplication board media?” This study aimed to improve students’ multiplication calculation skills through the application of a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model supported by multiplication board media among third-grade students at SDN 56 Kota Timur. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design. The findings involving 19 students indicated that in Cycle I, 11 students achieved the learning mastery criteria, representing 58% of the total participants. This result had not yet met the predetermined performance indicator target of 80%; therefore, the study was continued to Cycle II. In Cycle II, 16 students successfully achieved the learning mastery criteria, accounting for 84% of the participants, thereby fulfilling the established performance indicator target. Based on the results and discussion conducted in each cycle, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by multiplication board media was effective in improving the multiplication calculation skills of third-grade students at SDN 56 Kota Timur.
