Abstract

Kegiatan ini dilakukan pada 2 kelompok yaitu : Kelompok Nelayan Suku Anak Dalam dan Kelompok Usaha Mina Gabus Target luaran kegiatan ini adalah Meningkatkan ketrampilan dan pengetahuan nelayan suku anak dalam di Desa Nyogan Kecamatan mestong dan kelompok usaha Mina Gabus di Danau Kedap Kecamatan Maro Sebo, Meningkatkan kualitas ikan kering/asin dan diversifikasi produk perikanan seperti presto ikan yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok usaha Mina Gabus di Danau Kedap Kecamatan Maro Sebo sehingga dapat meningkatkan pendapatan kelompok usaha Mina Gabus, Meningkatkan produksi hasil tangkapan ikan bagi nelayan suku anak dalam di Desa Nyogan sehingga dapat meningkatkan pendapatan nelayan suku anak dalam. Metode yang ditawarkan dalam kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode partisipatif dan aksi pada kelompok Nelayan Suku Anak Dalam dan Kelompok Usaha Mina Gabus. Kegiatan ini dibagi menjadi tiga tahapan yaitu; Pengenalan program, Kegiatan demonstrasi dan Pembinaan dan tahap Layanan Jasa dan konsultasi.

Abstract

Nusantara Real Work Lecture Program - Religious Moderation (KKN NMB) for Religious Universities in 2023 in Kab. Katingan takes the form of organizing community arts and culture performances for residents of the Malan Island Transmigration Settlement Unit (UPT), Buntut Village, Bali District. Malan Island. The people of UPT Malan Island come from Javanese, Sundanese, Batak, Dayak and Flores ethnic groups who have the potential for regional artistic and cultural diversity, but have not been actively displayed in public performances for a long time. The activity implementation method used Asset Based Community Development (ABCD), namely students identify and look for opportunities for assets owned by the community and then develop and empower them. This method started from an introduction where students approach residents and enter various fields including religion, education and health. Then, identified existing asset opportunities and continue implementing the work program. Every cultural asset owned by the community is developed through cultural arts performances on the eve of the Republic of Indonesia's Independence Day celebration on August 17 2023. This cultural arts performance activity aimed to bring together and develop a sense of tolerance and respect for local cultural diversity to strengthen religious moderation for the community at UPT Malan Island. This cultural parade activity brought together people who had different principles and did not want to join SP-1 and SP-2 UPT Malan Island. People from various tribes feel proud and touched because their cultural arts are displayed and appreciated by other communities in an atmosphere of harmony.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Leban Karas, Desa Pijoan, Jambi Luar Kota, Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Sasaran kegiatan adalah kelompok ibu-ibu warga Leban Karas. Permasalahan: kelompok mitra menghadapi kendala dalam hal sumber daya manusia (SDM), keterbatasan modal, penguasaan teknologi, serta daya tawar produk yang masih rendah. Solusi: diberikan pelatihan mengenai teknologi proses pembuatan biskuit ikan yang lebih higienis, rendah kadar minyak, serta dikemas secara menarik guna meningkatkan minat beli masyarakat. Selain itu, dilakukan juga pembinaan berkelanjutan untuk memperkuat keterampilan dan pengetahuan peserta. Mitra yang Terlibat: warga Leban Karas (Kelompok ibu - ibu) berperan sebagai penerima teknologi dari tim pengabdian. Melalui kegiatan ini, mereka memperoleh ilmu dan keterampilan dalam pengolahan ikan, khususnya pembuatan biskuit berbahan dasar ikan. Hasil dan Pembahasan: penambahan bahan pangan seperti daging ikan gabus dalam pembuatan biskuit menghasilkan produk dengan nilai gizi tinggi, terutama protein. Ikan memiliki keunggulan sebagai sumber protein hewani karena mengandung asam amino esensial yang seimbang dengan kebutuhan tubuh manusia serta asam lemak tak jenuh yang bermanfaat bagi kesehatan. Tim membuat biskuit ikan gabus di rumah, kemudian membagikan leaflet berisi panduan pembuatan serta contoh biskuit yang telah dikemas kepada kelompok ibu-ibu. Para peserta diminta membaca panduan, mencicipi produk, dan mengajukan pertanyaan jika ada hal yang belum dipahami. Kesimpulan:Tim membuat biskuit ikan gabus di rumah, lalu mendistribusikannya beserta leaflet kepada kelompok ibu-ibu Leban Karas sebagai mitra. Para peserta diberi kesempatan mencicipi produk dan memberikan tanggapan terkait proses maupun hasil biskuit.

Abstract

Bird’s eye chili (Capsicum frutescens) is an agricultural commodity with several advantages, including tolerance to climate variability, relatively high resistance to pests and plant diseases, and high productivity. Nevertheless, this crop requires growing media rich in nutrients, one of which can be provided through the use of enriched organic waste compost. Enriched organic waste compost is produced through the decomposition of plant and animal residues with the assistance of decomposer organisms, including both microorganisms and macroorganisms. This community service activity aimed to enhance the skills of members of the PKK women’s group of RT 20, Pakuan Baru Subdistrict, Jambi City, in cultivating bird’s eye chili to achieve healthy growth and high fruit yield. The outreach activities were conducted in two stages, namely the delivery of educational materials and hands-on practice. Following the implementation of the training, an improvement in participants’ knowledge was observed, and they were able to apply enriched organic waste compost in their cultivation practices.

Abstract

Bougainvillea, commonly known as paper flower, is widely used to enhance environmental aesthetics due to its bright and attractive flowers. In addition to its ornamental value, this plant also provides benefits for health and the environment. Proper cultivation of bougainvillea is essential to achieve healthy growth and abundant flowering. One of the key factors for successful plant growth is the use of appropriate growing media with a loose structure, good drainage, and sufficient essential nutrients. Compost fertilizer is an organic fertilizer produced through the controlled decomposition of organic materials by microorganisms, which is beneficial for improving soil structure and nutrient availability. In addition to compost, the application of biochar to the growing media significantly contributes as a soil amendment by improving both chemical and physical soil properties, while also enhancing the soil’s water-holding capacity. Through this community service activity, members of the PKK women’s group of RT 23, Pasir Putih Subdistrict, Jambi City, were provided with educational materials and hands-on demonstrations on the proper use of compost and biochar in bougainvillea cultivation. The activities resulted in increased knowledge and practical skills among the participants and are expected to provide long-term social and environmental benefits. Strengthening skills in ornamental plant cultivation through the use of appropriate and high-quality organic inputs is also important in supporting household-based productive activities within the community.Bottom of Form

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the income of shallot farming in North Kolaka Regency. The independent variables studied included farmer experience (LN_X1), amount of fertilizer (LN_X2), land area (LN_X3), and labor (LN_X4), while dependent variables were shallot farming income (LN_Y). Cobb-Douglas production function methods and multiple linear regression were used to analyze the data with the help of SPSS 27. The results of the analysis showed that the four independent variables had a significant influence on farming's income simultaneously, with an F value of 658.017 and a significance of 0.000. The land area variable had the greatest partial influence, with a coefficient of 1.385 and a significance of 0.000, while the variables of labor and fertilizer had a positive influence, with significance of 0.014 and 0.038, respectively. However, the farmer's experience did not affect income (significance 0.374). A coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.989 indicates that the model can explain 98.9% of income variations. Other factors outside the model affect the rest of the variation. The results show that increasing the income of shallot farmers can be achieved through the efficient use of input, as well as the strategic role of land access and labor.

Abstract

Women's dual roles as workers and housewives render them particularly susceptible to work stress. The objective of this study was to ascertain the role of work-life balance in female police officers. The research hypothesis posits that work-life balance plays a mediating role in the relationship between social support and work stress among female police officers. The present study employed a quantitative survey-cross-sectional design. The data were collected using a questionnaire disseminated via Google Form and subsequently distributed through social media with a purposive sampling technique. A total of 190 female police officers participated in the operation. The instruments employed in this study included the Revised-Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support, the Work-Life Balance Scale, and the Job Stress Scale. The data analysis technique employed utilized the PROCESS macro model 4 mediation analysis by Hayes. The findings indicated that work-life balance effectively mediated the relationship between social support and work stress. This finding underscores the significance of social support, defined as the presence of conditions that promote effective work-life balance, in mitigating work stress among female police officers. The limitations and recommendations are delineated in the section's conclusion.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan untuk memahami peran sinematografi, khususnya teknik handheld camera, dalam membangun kekuatan dramatik pada film horor Indonesia. Film Trah dipilih sebagai objek kajian karena menghadirkan perpaduan tema budaya lokal dengan visualisasi horor yang intens. Teknik handheld dipandang memiliki kontribusi besar dalam menciptakan suasana realis, emosional, serta kedekatan penonton dengan karakter.Metodologi penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan analisis scene penting pada film Trah. Peneliti berperan sebagai Director of Photography (DoP) untuk mengamati perencanaan visual, penggunaan teknik handheld, serta implikasinya terhadap empat unsur dramatik, yaitu curiosity, suspense, conflict, dan surprise. Data dikaji dengan menghubungkan teori sinematografi dengan praktik produksi, serta membandingkannya dengan tren film horor Indonesia lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa handheld camera mampu memperkuat keterhubungan emosional penonton dengan karakter melalui gerakan kamera yang dinamis dan imersif. Adegan curiosity, suspense, conflict, dan surprise semakin hidup karena penggunaan handheld yang terencana, bukan sekadar gaya visual semata. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa handheld dapat menjadi strategi artistik dalam memperkuat dramatik sekaligus membangun identitas film horor Indonesia. Kesimpulan penelitian menegaskan bahwa sinematografi berbasis handheld memiliki potensi besar untuk terus dieksplorasi, baik dalam konteks akademik maupun praktik industri film

Abstract

This service project aims at enabling teachers at SMPN 4 Tembilahan Hulu using planned application of the artificial intelligence in enhancing development of learning media. Under the name of E-Learning Dissemination in the Utilisation of Artificial Intelligence as Learning Media Tools, the presented program will be aimed at a group of 75 pupils and 13 teachers in the school. They included socialisation of AI ideas, intensive workshops, supervised demonstrations, technical support, which incorporated different AI tools, such as ChatGPT and Gemini as scripting and inquiry tools, Gamma and Canva visual design tools, Suno†AI and CapCut audio-visual production tools, and DeepFake and Teachbel Machines. The indicators of success included an increase in the score of technical competence, the creation of eight modules that were focused on AI, and a professional learning community of the teacher. It is projected that this action will enhance the capabilities of teachers to create and develop pedagogically sound, expand learning resources among students, and pose policy change in schools at large that sanction the sustainable use of AI.
