Abstract

Group brawls between teenage students have become recurring problem. Violence has been regarded as a solution to any problem by the adolescents. This is clear evidence that adolescents are freely carrying out anarchic acts. Indeed, this poor behavior harms not only the people engaged in the fights or brawls, but also others who are not directly involved. This research aims to describe the pattern of handling teenage brawls using grounded theory approach. The data were collected through interviews obtained from 32 informants who were selected based on the criteria predetermined by the researcher. The analysis of themes was conducted through the N Vivo 12. The results of the study identified several models of prevention, diversion, and rehabilitation to deal with the behavior of teenage brawls.

Abstract

The background of this research is the importance of library management at SMA Negeri 19 Merangin to encourage and support the learning process in an educational institution which aims to describe the management of the library in fulfilling and carrying out the roles and functions of a library unit. To reveal this, research has been carried out using a qualitative approach, data and information are collected by observing, interviewing and documenting, and analyzed by reducing, displaying and verifying data, so that conclusions can be drawn from the research process carried out. The research results obtained can be concluded that library management still does not cooperate well in procuring library collections, library managers do not have library science education qualifications and their understanding is still low, the library collection is physically incomplete in general, and the management system is still manual.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatar belakangi penting pengelolaan Perpustakaan di SMA Negeri 19 Merangin untuk mendorong dan mendukung proses pembelajaran dalam sebuah lembaga pendidikan yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen perpustakaan tersebut dalam memenuhi dan melaksanakan peran serta fungsi sebuah unit perpustakaan. Untuk mengungkap hal ini semua telah dilakukan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, data dan informasi kumpulkan dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, dan dianalisis dengan melakukan reduksi, display dan verifikasi data, sehingga dapat disimpulkan dari proses penelitian yang dilakukan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa manajemen perpustakaan masih kurang kerja sama dengan baik dalam pengadaan koleksi perpustakaan, pengelola perpustakaan tidak memiliki kualifikasi pendidikan ilmu perpustakaan dan pemahamannya masih rendah, koleksi perpustakaannya secara fisik pada umumnya belum lengkap, dan sistem pengelolaan masih manual.

Abstract

Reference Manager Tool (Mendeley) training for students at the Faculty of Islamic Religion, Muhammadiyah University was carried out with the aim of assisting students in creating bibliographies automatically and searching for references from leading international and national journals that have accreditation, especially in writing quotations. Training is carried out through lecture methods, practice and question and answer sessions led by the team. This activity was held at campus IV, Muhammadiyah University on Wednesday, December 6 2023, with the participation of 95 students from the Faculty of Islamic Religion, Muhammadiyah University, Bengkulu. The implementation of this service uses several techniques, namely lectures, discussions and demonstrations. The implementation stages of this service consist of several opening and introduction sessions, introduction to Mendeley installation and initial preparation, Mendeley account creation, main feature training, reference organization, use of citation tools, making a bibliography, question and answer sessions and practice. This service concludes that 80% of students understand well how to insert citations and create a bibliography using Mendeley. This service provides significant benefits and makes a positive contribution in preparing students at the Faculty of Islamic Religion, Muhammadiyah University of Bengkulu to face academic challenges, as well as assisting in producing more structured written work. Some suggestions that should be considered for better implementation of service include conducting initial surveys to identify student knowledge and needs, providing complete and easily accessible training materials in various formats, conducting evaluations and collecting feedback from training participants to improve and adjust the program in the future.

Abstract

Pendekatan cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) adalah pendekatan psikoterapi jangka pendek yang dirancang untuk memengaruhi emosi, perilaku, dan kognisi disfungsional, melalui prosedur sistematis yang berorientasi pada tujuan. Pendekatan ini memiliki karakteristik unik yang membedakannya dari sebagian besar pendekatan kelompok lain, karena bergantung pada prinsip dan prosedur metode ilmiah, dan prinsip pembelajaran yang diperoleh secara eksperimental. Pendekatan ini semakin banyak digunakan untuk masalah kesehatan mental, dan diterapkan dalam layanan bimbingan dan konseling kelompok sebagai intervensi untuk penanganan perilaku-perilaku maladaptive. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa pendekatan CBT merupakan suatu metode terapi perilaku kognitif yang bertujuan untuk mengurangi tekanan dan disfungsi psikologis dengan mengeksplorasi dan mengatasi integrasi pikiran, perasaan, dan perilaku yang berkontribusi pada munculnya suatu masalah. Tujuan dan manfaat pendekatan CBT dalam bimbingan dan konseling kelompok sebagai preventif dan perbaikan perilaku maladaptive melalui penguasaan keterampilan praktis untuk membuat perubahan dalam pikiran, perilaku, dan emosi serta cara mempertahankannya dari waktu ke waktu. Peran pemimpin dalam kelompok CBT yaitu sebagai guru dan pendorong bagi anggotanya untuk mempelajari dan mempraktikkan keterampilan sosial dalam kelompok yang dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Tahapan pelaksanaan CBT dilakukan melalui tiga tahap yaitu; tahap awal, tahap kerja, dan pengakhiran.
