Abstract

PT X memiliki kapasitas produksi dan kecepatan produksi yang baik karena mayoritas pekerjaannya dibantu oleh mesin, namun peran manusia dalam proses produksi tidak dapat dihilangkan. Salah satu peran manusia yang masih banyak terlihat dalam alur perakitan produk adalah pada bagian logistik. Di bagian ini, banyak sekali operator yang bekerja mengangkat (lifting), menurunkan (dropping), mendorong (pushing) dan menarik (pulling) beban secara manual. Permasalahan yang timbul pada sistem kerja di bagian ini adalah kurangnya pengawasan terhadap penerapan kaidah ergonomi oleh operator dalam melakukan pekerjaan material handling. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan yang paling sering dilakukan oleh operator adalah membawa beban di atas bahu dengan satu tangan, membungkuk saat menurunkan beban, dan menarik dolly dengan postur tidak wajar. Software CATIA V5R20 digunakan untuk menganalisis postur operator dan interaksinya terhadap bahaya yang mungkin ditimbulkan baik internal maupun eksternal..Berdasarkan hasil pengumpulan data, kesalahan yang terjadi di lapangan terjadi rata-rata kesalahan yaitu 0,61 menit/kesalahan. Artinya setiap 0,55 menit (33 detik) terjadi satu kesalahan. Selain itu, nilai akhir untuk semua postur adalah buruk dan tidak direkomendasikan untuk diterapkan. Dari hasil peracangan postur yang baik, didapatkan nilai akhir 3 (kuning) yang artinya untuk melakukan pekerjaan berat, postur tersebut masih digolongkan aman dan tidak berpotensi mencederai operator dalam bekerja. Abstract

One aspect that needs to be assessed to make better product is usability.  Testing the level of usability on BIMO hand is performed using adapted Southampton Hand Assesment Procedure (SHAP) method. Users are given the task of using prosthetic hand to perform daily activities according to performance measurement rules. Based on the opinion of Jacob Nielsen, the theory used to measure usability are 5 main parameters, i.e: Learnability, Memorability, Efficiency, Satisfaction, and Errors. Testing is done by giving 15 task daily activity to the respondent. After testing, respondents were given USE questionnaires (Usefulness, Satisfaction and Ease of use) as a media for usability assessmentand received suggestions from respondents. Some suggestions were obtained from the respondents after the research was conducted, such as the size of the product, censoric product respond, the suitability shape and weight of product. Based on the percentage of USE questionnaire assessment known Usability Prosthetic hand level tested is in the status of GOOD, this indicates the respondents feel the product is good to use.

Abstract

This paper aims at determining the effect of music and light intensity on heart rate and perceptions of visitors in Industrial Engineering Library, analyzing the performance of users in various treatment conditions and by doing so, providing recommendations for the right combination of treatments to increase concentration and increase the level of relaxation. It proves a better performance of the students when they work in better physical environment design, especially in the library. Based on preliminary studies, it is indicated that the Industrial Engineering Library (IEL) needs re-engineering of the light and sound condition. The library room does not inline with the Head of National Library of Indonesia's rules, number 13 of 2017, about the national standard of college libraries for lighting condition. Besides, about 90.2% of students feel the classical music increases comfort and concentration in reading activities. The research data was collected by recording 24 respondents' heart rate and processed by experimental design using SPSS software. The result provides recommendations from the human physical aspect by selecting the treatment to achieve the highest performance. An additional questionnaire with a Likert scale was disseminated to measure the respondents' perceptions. The results showed that the interaction of 200-600 lux lighting and classical music variables was the best treatment to achieve the highest performance.

Abstract

The increasing population every year and the rapid economic development in Semarang City caused environmental problems related to the water resources used. One of the impacts of environmental problems is the lowering water quality of the Banjir Kanal Timur (BKT) Watershed. The study aims to identify the potential and conditions of the BKT watershed, and river segmentation as a basis for determining representative monitoring points that are used to determine the capacity that is adjusted to the description of river water segmentation class. The methods were descriptive and quantitative analysis approach based on the observation and measurement in the field campaign as well as the laboratory analysis. In addition, this research was also compiling the QUAL2E modeling to determine estimation of contamination load and capacity of contamination of Banjir Kanal Timur. The results conducted that the BKT has poor water quality based on the parameters of DO, BOD, and fecal coliform, while for the NO3 and NO2 parameters indicate good water quality. Segment that has load capacity of BOD contamination is segment 1. Segments that have load capacity of Nitrite (NO2) and Nitrate (NO3) contents are segment 1 to segment 4. The segment which has load capacity of contamination of fecal coliform is segment 2. Thus, Segment 1 can be classified into second class while segment 2 goes into third class. Furthermore, segment 3 and 4 are into fourth class respectively.

Abstract

Pada PT. Toba Pulp Lestari terdapat serangkaian proses rantai pasok yang memiliki risiko yang dapat mengakibatkan  kerugian terhadap perusahaan. Serangkaian proses rantai pasok tersebut dapat diidentifikasi dengan diagram proses pengadaan material yang melibatkan beberapa stakeholder seperti buyer, marketing, PPIC, purchasing, produksi, dan warehouse. Fokus penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi resiko operasional pada pengadaan material produksi dan mengidentifikasi alternative upaya menangani risiko. Metode yang digunakan adalah house of risk (HOR) terdiri dari mengidentifikasi risiko, menentukan prioritas sumber risiko, menentukan prioritas strategi penanganannya. Hasil dari HOR fase 1 diketahui 13 risk agent dominan dengan nilai ARP tertinggi adalah risk agent ke 15 yaitu karyawan perusahaan tidak melakukan inspeksi ulang. Risk agent yang diperoleh terkait dengan risk event ke 8 (E8) yaitu reservasi manual yang sebelumnya dilakukan belum diupdate di sistem. Kemudian pada HOR fase 2 dilakukan prioritas tindakan pencegahan (preventive action) risk event dengan risk agent tertinggi adalah re-fresher training kepada employees.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to evaluate the deviation between planned Cost of GoodsManufacturing with actual Cost of Goods Manufacturing (COGM) in PT. TMMIN thatexceeding 10%. The obtained priority issues is the procurement of Spring Guide Set DBAGS-Dcomponent. A localization activity is designed against Spring Guide Setcomponent procurement through several local suppliers, namely PT. HMI, PT. IT, andPT. JAPM. The analysis includes three aspects: cost, delivery time, and quality. ToyotaBusiness Practice (TBP) is applied in this study. Toyota Business Practice is a problemsolving method that consists of eight steps ranging from problem identification,determination of the root of the problem to the standardization activities. In the TBP,some calculations costs through cost estimation analysis approach and calculation ofdepreciation using the Sum of the Year Digits is taken into account. Throughlocalization activity, it is expected the import costs in the procurement of componentscan be reduced, in line with expected delivery and quality aspects. The results show therecommendations of selected supplier are PT. IT for then negotiated the cost reductionand PT. JAPM for quality improvement of the products offered.

Abstract

Kondisi kerja yang kurang nyaman dapat menimbulkan kerugian baik dari pihak operator maupun pihak perusahaan salah satu kerugian tersebut adalah keluhan musculoskeletal disorders. CV MANSGROUP merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang menyediakan berbagai alat alternatif dan mampu digunakan untuk melakukan servis kendaraan bermotor, dimana masih terdapat operator-operator yang bekerja dalam posisi yang kurang ergonomis, terutama pada bagian produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai resiko postur kerja operator bagian produksi pada CV MANSGROUP berdasarkan nilai RULA dan memberikan usulan perbaikan pada perusahaan untuk mengurangi resiko musculoskeletal disorders. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA), yaitu sebuah metode untuk menilai postur, gaya dan gerakan suatu aktivitas kerja yang berkaitan dengan penggunaan anggota tubuh bagian atas. Pada postur kerja aktual, OP 1, OP 2 dan OP 4 mendapat  final score 6, OP.3 mendapat grand score 7, yang berarti sangat dibutuhkannya penanganan segera pada keempat elemen kerja tersebut.  Pada postur kerja usulan, OP 1 – OP 4 mendapat final score 2 yang termasuk dalam golongan acceptable job. AbstractLess comfortable working conditions can lead to the loss of both the operator and the company’s side. One of those losses was a complaint of musculoskeletal disorders. CV MANSGROUP is a company that provides a variety of alternative tools and can be used to carry out servicing of motor vehicles, where there are operators who work in a position that is less ergonomic, especially on the production section. This study aims to determine the value of the risk posture of the operator in  CV MANSGROUP’s production section based on the RULA value and to propose improvements to the company to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal disorders. This study used Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) methods, which is a method to assess posture, style and movement of a work activity relating to the use of members on the upper body. In the actual work posture, OP 1, OP 2 and OP 4 got the final score of 6, OP.3 got a grand score of 7, which means it needs immediate action on the four elements of the work. In the proposed work postures, OP 1  - OP 4 got a final score of 2 which means an acceptable job.

Abstract

Penggunaan gadget ketika mengemudi sudah menjadi suatu gaya hidup di Indonesia, bahkan penggunaan gadget ini berperan dalam pekerjaan pengemudi taksi online. Cara penggunaan gadget yang sering dilakukan adalah secara hand-held dan hands-free. Menggunakan gadget ketika mengemudi merupakan salah satu sumber bahaya yang besar karena dapat menyebabkan distraksi pada kognitif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar penurunan performansi mengemudi dan bagaimana perilaku mengemudi terkait kecepatan dan perubahan posisi lateral yang dihasilkan ketika mengemudi sambil menggunakan gadget. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan driving simulator pada 2 jenis jalan yaitu urban road dan rurual road, masing-masing jalan diberikan 5 perlakuan yaitu mengemudi tanpa menggunakan gadget, mengemudi menggunakan gadget secara hand-held dengan distraksi telepon, mengemudi menggunakan gadget secara hand-held dengan distraksi SMS, mengemudi menggunakan gadget secara hands-free dengan distraksi telepon dan mengemudi secara hands-free dengan distraksi SMS. Penurunan performansi yang paling buruk dihasilkan pada penggunaan gadget secara hands-free degan distraksi SMS pada urban road dan rural road yaitu sebesar 48% dan 41%. Sedangkan penurunan performansi terendah pada urban road dihasilkan pada penggunaan gadget secara hand-held dengan distraksi telepon sebesar 6%. Penurunan performansi terendah pada rural road dihasilkan pada penggunaan gadget secara hands-free dengan distraksi telepon sebesar 1%. Perilaku yang dihasilkan ketika menggunakan gadget sambil mengemudi adalah pengemudi mengurangi kecepatannya dan sering mengubah posisi lateralnya. Rekomendasi yang dapat diberikan adalah agar segera membuat regulasi tentang pengguaan gadget dalam mengemudi dan mengadopsi teknologi google voice untuk mode mengemudi. Abstract[Analysis of Driving Performance and Behaviour on Hand-Held and Hands-free Gadget Use] Using gadget while driving has become a lifestyle in Indonesia that it takes a significant part in the work field of online based car transportation; in this case, the drivers. The most common way of gadget usage is by hand-held and hands-free. Using gadget while driving may cause a great danger as it may emerge distraction against cognitive aspect. This research is aimed to identify the decrease value of driving performance and driving behavior regarding the velocity and the range of lateral position emerged during driving while using gadget. This research is conducted by applying driving simulator on two types of road: urban road and rural road, each of which is given five different treatments: driving without using gadget, driving while using gadget in hand-held method with phone call distraction, driving while using gadget in hand-held method with SMS distraction, driving while using gadget in hands free method with phone call distraction, and  driving while using gadget in hands free method with SMS distraction. The greatest performance decrease is presented by gadget usage in hands free method with SMS distraction of 48% on urban road and 41% on rural road.  Meanwhile, the lowest performance decrease on urban road of 6% is shown by gadget usage in hand held method with phone call distraction. The least performance decrease on rural road of 1% is presented by gadget usage in hands free method with phone call distraction. Behaviors resulted from using gadget while driving includes driver slowing down and continuously changing the lateral position. An immediate arrangement of new regulation on gadget usage while driving and maximum utilization of Google Voice technology are highly recommended.

Abstract

PT Multipanel Intermitra Mandiri (PT MIM) merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang manufakturing. Fokus dari PT.MIM adalah memproduksi panel kelistrikan dan Transportable Power Control Room (PCR) yang mana banyak digunakan oleh perusahaan – perusahaan pertambangan di kawasan asia. Transportable Power control room adalah bangunan yang dibuat untuk mengatur kelistrikan pada area pertambangan. Kecelakaan kerja pada proses konstruksi PCR yang masih terjadi membuat PT.MIM perlu melakukan analisis yang lebih mendalam tentang keadalan manusia sehingga peran manusia dapat lebih diandalkan untuk menjaga kepercayaan konsumen terhadap PT MIM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai keandalan manusia pada proses konstruksi PCR di PT.MIM. Proses konstruksi dari PCR memiliki 8 task yang kemudian dibagi menjadi beberapa sub-task menggunakan Hierarchical Task Analysis. Setelah itu dilakukan pengukuran menggunakan Human Error Assesment and Reduction Technique dan diperoleh nilai error terbesar yaitu pada task 8.6 pengankatan bangunan menggunakan crane dengan nilai 3,168. Untuk itu dilakukan analisis perbaikan dengan menerapakan prinsip zones of responsibilitity.  AbstractHuman Reliability Assesment With Heart Method As An Effort To Reduce Human Error In PT. Multipanel Intermitra Mandiri. PT Multipanel Intermitra Mandiri (PT MIM) is a company engaged in manufacturing. The focus of PT.MIM is to produce electricity panels and Transportable Power Control Room (PCR) which are widely used by mining companies in Asia. Transportable Power control room is a building designed to regulate electricity in the mining area. Work accidents in the PCR construction process resulted PT.MIM to do more in-depth analysis in human reliability so that human role can be more reliable to maintain consumer trust in PT MIM. This study aims to determine the value of human reliability in the PCR construction process in PT.MIM. The construction process of PCR has 8 tasks which are divided into several sub-tasks using Hierarchical Task Analysis.The result of the measurement using Human Error Assessment and Reduction Technique shows task 8.6 (lifting building using crane) has a value of 3.168 and reducing this value can be done by applying principle zones of responsibilitity.

Abstract

Lean adalah suatu metode perbaikan secara berkelanjutan untuk mengeliminasi pemborosan dan meningkatkan nilai tambah pada perusahaan. Penerapan lean dalam bidang telah berkembang pesat pada berbagai sektor, termasuk sektor kesehatan yang disebut lean healthcare. RSKB Diponegoro Dua Satu sebagai salah satu rumah sakit terkemuka di Klaten dituntut untuk meningkatkan kinerja pelayanannya. Pada penelitian ini ditemukan aktivitas-aktivitas yang tergolong pemborosan yang menyebabkan lamanya waktu pelayanan di unit rawat jalan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi pemborosan yang menyebabkan lama waktu pelayanan beserta akar penyebabnya. Identifikasi aktivitas yang ada dan pemborosan dilakukan dengan Current Value Stream Mapping (Current VSM). Penentuan pemborosan kritis dihitung dengan metode Borda yang akan menunjukkan pemborosan yang paling sering terjadi di unit rawat jalan. Berdasarkan Current VSM dan metode Borda dapat diketahui jika rata-rata waktu pelayanan adalah 2 jam dan pemborosan yang sering terjadi adalah waiting, transportation, dan unnecessary motion. Hasil perhitungan efisiensi proses menunjukkan jika persentase efisiensi proses saat ini sebesar 25,31%. Selanjutnya, pemborosan kritis yang telah teridentifikasi dianalisis akar penyebabnya dengan metode 5 Why’s. Berdasarkan analisis dengan tersebut, peneliti merancang solusi perbaikan berdasarkan Rapid Process Improvement Workshop (RPIW) dengan metode Workload Indicator Staffing Need (WISN) dimana kebutuhan petugas di bagian registrasi dan rekam medis adalah 3 petugas. Sedangkan, estimasi waktu proses pada kedua bagian tersebut secara berturut-turut selama 3,67 menit dan 4 menit per petugas.                                                  AbstractTitle : Implementation of Lean Healthcare and Root Cause Analysis to Reduce Outpatient Department Process Time in RSKB Diponegoro Dua Satu Klaten .Lean is an continuous improvement method to eliminate waste and increase value added in company. Implementation of Lean has been developed rapidly in many sectors, include healthcare sector which is called Lean Healthcare. RSKB Diponegoro Dua Satu as a well-known hospital in Klaten required to improve their service performance. The purpose of this research to identify waste which affects the queue time in outpatient department and its root cause. In this research has  found activities which is categorized as waste and made long queue time in outpatient department. Existing activities and waste identification is conducted with Current Value Stream Mapping (Current VSM). Borda’s method is used to determine the critical waste. Based on Current VSM and Borda’s method results shows that the average queue time is 2 hours and the critical waste in outpatient department are waiting, transportation, and unnecessary motion. Then, the result of percentage Current Process Cycle Efficiency (PCE) is 25,31%. Based on critical waste which has been identified will analyzed its root causes with 5 Why’s method. Then, based on root cause analysis, researcher will design the improvement solutions based on Rapid Process Improvement Workshop (RPIW) with Workload Indicator Staffing Need (WISN) which staff needed in registration and medical record area is 3 staff. Then, estimation process time for each areas is 3,67 minutes and 4 minutes per staff, respectively.
