Abstract

The development of educational technology requires innovative learning media that can enhance students’ learning independence, particularly in elementary mathematics learning. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of digital comic media in improving learning independence among fifth-grade students at SD Islam Sultan Agung 4 Semarang. A quantitative experimental method with a One Group Pretest–Posttest Design was employed. The research subjects consisted of all fifth-grade students. Data were collected using a learning independence questionnaire administered before and after the implementation of digital comic media. Data analysis involved descriptive statistics and N-Gain analysis to determine the effectiveness of the media. The results showed an improvement in students’ learning independence after the use of digital comic media, indicated by higher posttest scores compared to pretest scores. The average N-Gain score was 0.485, categorized as moderate, indicating that digital comic media is sufficiently effective in enhancing students’ learning independence. Digital comics present learning materials through visual and narrative elements that support students in managing their learning processes more independently. Therefore, digital comic media can be considered an effective alternative learning medium for improving learning independence in elementary schools.

Abstract

This research aims to formulate a strategy to increase the competitiveness of Indonesian food and beverage products in the Thai market through the role of human resource (HR) competencies and participation in international exhibitions. The research approach used is mixed-method, which combines qualitative and quantitative analysis. Qualitative data were collected through in-depth interviews with exporters and related stakeholders, while quantitative data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. In addition, product competitiveness is evaluated through the Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) approach and the Dynamic Export Competitiveness Index (ECI) dynamically for the period 2021–2024. The results of the study show that human resource competence has a significant effect on increasing export competitiveness, with a t-statistic value of 5.949 and a p-value of 0.000. The role of international exhibitions has also been proven to indirectly contribute to increasing competitiveness through improving human resource competence. RCA and ECI analysis showed positive trends in several superior products such as processed fish, sauces and spices, as well as margarine and fat mixtures. These findings reinforce the importance of human resource development strategies and the use of international exhibitions as a means of market penetration. This study recommends that governments, stakeholders, and business actors be able to strengthen export-oriented HR training programs and encourage active participation in curated international exhibitions. This research also opens up further study space regarding the integration of digitalization aspects in the promotion of Indonesia's superior products to the global market.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the delivery of material from Pancasila Education teachers, which tends to be monotonous and lacks variety, as well as the less than optimal indicators of teacher communicative competence, such as being able to ask questions that encourage students to explore the learning material themselves, being able to ask questions that encourage high-level questions, and being skilled in various interaction techniques to prevent boredom. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of teacher communicative competence on the enthusiasm of learning Pancasila Education of grade IX students of MTs Tasymirusy Syubban Tedunan Jepara. This study is a study with a quantitative research design. The population in this study was grade IX students of MTs Tasymirusy Syubban Tedunan Jepara, with a population of 56 students. While the sample in this study were all grade IX B students of MTs Tasymirusy Syubban Tedunan, totaling 30 students. The sampling technique applied was cluster random sampling. The data collection technique used a questionnaire, and data analysis used a normality test, determination test, and F test with the help of the SPSS 25 program. The results of the study stated that there was a significant influence between teacher communicative competence and the enthusiasm for learning Pancasila Education of class IX students of MTs Tasymirusy Syubban Tedunan Jepara; this was indicated by the value of the F test results of 5.869, which was greater than the F table of 4.200, or a sig value smaller than alpha 0.050 (0.022 < 0.050). Teacher communicative competence had an influence of 17.300%, indicated by a determination value of 0.173. Based on the results of the research that had been carried out, it could be concluded that each variable had a relationship.

Abstract

Mata kuliah Merencana Konstruksi Baja merupakan mata kuliah pengetahuan berbentuk merencanakan struktur bangunan gedung terbuka dan bangunan gedung tertutup dengan bahan struktur dari baja. Berbagai kendala yang menghambat mahasiswa dalam pengerjaan tugas Merencana Konstruksi Baja, salah satunya tentang pengetahuan mahasiswa pada mata kuliah penunjang. Mata kuliah penunjang sangat berperan dalam penyelesaian tugas Merencana Konstruksi Baja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang pengaruh mata kuliah penunjang terhadap keberhasilan dalam penyelesaian tugas Merencana Konstruksi Baja pada mahasiswa S1 PTB Jurusan Teknik Sipil FT Unesa. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan data berbentuk angka. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode dokumentasi. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mahasiswa S1 PTB yang memprogram tugas Merencana Konstruksi Baja pada Semester Genap Tahun Ajaran 2013-2014 sebanyak 64 mahasiswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Alat analisis data yang digunakan adalah program komputer SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) versi 15. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ada pengaruh antara hasil belajar mata kuliah penunjang (variabel tidak terikat) yaitu Menggambar Struktur Bangunan II, Mekanika Rekayasa II, Matematika II, Struktur Baja I, dan Struktur Baja II secara bersama-sama terhadap (variabel terikat) keberhasilan penyelesaian tugas Merencana Konstruksi Baja sebesar 34,7%. Sedangkan sisanya sebesar 65,3% dipengaruhi atau dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam model penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan terjadi hubungan sedang antara mata kuliah penunjang terhadap keberhasilan penyelesaian tugas Merencana Konstruksi Baja sebesar 0,589. Various obstacles that hinder the students in performing tasks Drafting Construction Steel, one of which on the knowledge of students in a course support. Courses support was instrumental in the completion of the task Steel Construction Plans. This study aims to determine the effect of the course on supporting the successful completion of the task in Steel Construction Plans on S1 students PTB FT Unesa Department of Civil Engineering. This study was classified as quantitative research data approach shaped figure. Data collection was performed by using the method of documentation. The sample used in this study students who programmed the PTB S1 duty Steel Construction Plans in Even Semester Academic Year 2013-2014 as many as 64 students. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Data analysis tool used is a computer program SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) version 15. Based on the existing research results influence the outcome of learning support courses (the independent variable), namely Building Structures II Drawing, Engineering Mechanics II, Mathematics II, Steel Structures I and II Steel Structure together against (the dependent variable) the successful completion of the task Drafting Steel construction by 34.7%. While the remaining 65.3% is influenced or explained by other variables not included in this research model. The results also showed that there was a relationship between subjects support the successful completion of the task of Steel Construction Plans by 0.589. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of job satisfaction and work environment on employee performance with organizational commitment as a mediating variable at the Samodra Ilmu Cendekia Foundation. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of explanatory research to explain the causal relationship between variables. The population in this study is all employees of the Samodra Ilmu Cendekia Foundation, totaling 256 people, with sampling techniques using the census method. Data was collected through a questionnaire compiled based on the indicators of each variable and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling method. The results of the study show that job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, as well as a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. The work environment has also been proven to have a positive and significant effect on employee performance and organizational commitment. However, the test results show that organizational commitment has no significant effect on employee performance. In addition, organizational commitment does not play a role as a mediating variable in the relationship between job satisfaction and the work environment on employee performance. These findings indicate that the influence of job satisfaction and the work environment on employee performance is direct, without going through an intermediary mechanism in the form of organizational commitment. Theoretically, the results of this study confirm that in the context of foundation-based education organizations, employee performance is more determined by proximal and situational factors, namely job satisfaction and work environment, than by long-term work attitudes such as organizational commitment. Organizational commitment is more appropriately positioned as an outcome of a work attitude oriented towards loyalty and sustainability of human resources, rather than as a direct predictor of performance. Practically, this study implies that efforts to improve employee performance at the Samodra Ilmu Cendekia Foundation will be more effective if they are focused on increasing job satisfaction and improving the work environment directly, while still paying attention to the role of organizational commitment in maintaining employee stability and loyalty.

Abstract

Social behavior influences consumer purchase decisions, especially in the mobile telecommunications industry, which is increasingly reliant on social media. Consumers now not only depend on information from companies but also reviews, recommendations, and interactions on digital platforms. This study aims to examine how social behavior, with a focus on the influence of social media, shapes purchase decisions. Using an online survey experimental approach, participants were divided into three groups based on the information received: consumer reviews, expert reviews, and trusted friend recommendations. The results indicate that external information, whether from consumer reviews or experts, promotes faster decision-making, while recommendations from friends have a stronger influence on product choice compared to social media. Although the influence of social media is significant, personal recommendations remain stronger. In the post-purchase phase, external influences no longer alter the decisions already made. These findings provide guidance for telecommunications companies in designing more effective marketing strategies, leveraging social media and personal recommendations to influence purchase decisions.
