Abstract

Abstract

Online meetings have become mandatory since the COVID-19 pandemic. The series of stages of online meetings are slightly different from those held offline. Using the online meeting application requires a license and meeting scheduling according to the license quota you have. Online meeting activities at the Ministry of Health, especially the work unit under the Secretary General, provide each online meeting application license, and the meeting management is still manual. The stages of the meeting which include ordering meeting schedules, sending meeting invitations to participants, making minutes and approval from the leadership, distributing minutes to meeting participants are still done manually, and also not yet integrated with offline meeting activities. This condition is not cost effective and time efficient. The purpose of this research is to design and develop an application web-based information system for online meetings and minutes within the Ministry of Health. The designed information system is the Echelon I Level Meeting Management Information System. The system development method used is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a prototype approach. The system design uses the PHP programming language, and also uses MySQL to design the database. The conceptual design is in accordance with the results of the analysis of existing conditions and is used as a reference in designing web-based information systems including using data flow diagrams, entity relationship diagrams, and table relationship diagrams. The results of this study are in the form of an integrated information system for work units at the Ministry of Health in managing online and offline meetings, integrating meeting room reservations (if online in the form of reservations for online meeting application slots such as zoom), automation of sending invitations to all meeting participants, making minutes online meeting and its approval, as well as sending the minutes of the meeting through the system. The advantages of this information system include saving costs for procuring online application licenses, generating a database of all meeting activities at the Ministry of Health, automation of sending invitations and meeting minutes, time efficiency in following up on meeting results because minutes can be made directly online and sent via the system to all meeting participants.

Abstract

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic has triggered increased anxiety and depression in pregnant women, while the ability of health workers to detect early symptoms of anxiety and depression in pregnancy remains poor. Expert system transfers expert intelligence into a computer to provide prediction and interpretation of mental health screening results. This expert system provides easy access to mental health services for pregnant women and reduces the workload for health workers so that obstacles to access to services during and after the COVID-19 pandemic can be resolved. Objectives: We propose a conceptual model based on expert systems to allow early detection of anxiety and depression symptoms in pregnancy. Methods: In this model, a systematic literature review was used to choose the instrument for the expert system. Next, to assess symptoms of anxiety and depression in pregnancy, we designed a decision table and produced an algorithm in a screening chart using the rule-based expert system procedure. Results: Based on the results of the systematic literature review, there were 15 studies that had validated the screening instrument for symptoms of anxiety and depression in pregnant women. The results of the systematic review stated that the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) had good sensitivity and specificity. Therefore, EPDS that be used in mental health screening based of expert system. Acquiring experts’ knowledge into a computer program, seven algorithms were designed on screening chart to detect anxiety and or depression symptoms in pregnancy. Conclusion: We illustrate that mental health screening in pregnancy using EPDS based on an expert system will provide accessibility of health services, accurate and fast results, a new approach for maternal mental health care, and avenues for future research.

Abstract

Early risk prediction and appropriate treatment are believed to be able to delay the occurrence of hypertension and attendant conditions. Many hypertension prediction models have been developed across the world, but they cannot be generalized directly to all populations, including for Indonesian population. This study aimed to develop and validate a hypertension risk-prediction model using machine learning (ML). The modifiable risk factors are used as the predictor, while the target variable on the algorithm is hypertension status. This study compared several machine-learning algorithms such as decision tree, random forest, gradient boosting, and logistic regression to develop a hypertension prediction model. Several parameters, including the area under the receiver operator characteristic curve (AUC), classification accuracy (CA), F1 score, precision, and recall were used to evaluate the models. Most of the predictors used in this study were significantly correlated with hypertension. Logistic regression algorithm showed better parameter values, with AUC 0.829, CA 89.6%, recall 0.896, precision 0.878, and F1 score 0.877. ML offers the ability to develop a quick prediction model for hypertension screening using non-invasive factors. From this study, we estimate that 89.6% of people with elevated blood pressure obtained on home blood pressure measurement will show clinical hypertension.

Abstract

The industrial revolution and the current era of information technology have touched various fields, including health. Competency development of health human resources is something that must be done to be able to adapt in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. In an effort to develop the competence of Health Human Resources, training is a form that is commonly carried out today. Post-training evaluation is a form of training evaluation to determine the effectiveness of a training so that training can be continuously modified to achieve the best effectiveness. Evaluation of post-health training is currently still done manually, which causes not all health training to be evaluated because it requires a lot of resources and budget. The use of information technology in conducting post-training evaluations can be a solution to existing problems. The post-health training evaluation is carried out by developing an information system for the post-health training evaluation that can be carried out quickly, precisely and massively. The purpose of this research is to design an evaluation information system after health training to the system design stage. The development method uses the System Development Life Cyle (SDLC) with the waterfall model until the system design stage. System design is done by making context diagrams, ERD, TRD, Data Dictionary, Flow Chart and DFD. The design of this information system is expected to be the basis for the development of a more comprehensive health EPP information system in the future.
