Abstract

Teachers are required to have various competencies in the process of transferring knowledge to their students, as are BIPA teachers. Quality teaching competency is an important aspect in the successful achievement of student competency. Therefore, discussions on teacher competence are important as supporting the success of second language learning, in the context that will be carried out, namely the competence of BIPA teachers in writing scientific papers. This is done because writing skills are skills that are difficult to learn and teach. Additionally, consider BIPA which is increasingly popular for non-native speakers to follow. The objectives of this PKM are (1) to provide training in an effort to increase the competency in writing scientific papers of BIPA teachers, (2) to provide insight related to the use of technology in writing scientific papers. This activity was carried out at Yala Rajabhat University, Thailand. This location was chosen because it held BIPA learning and there were problems regarding inadequate insight in writing scientific papers in the context of Indonesian language and culture.The solution offered is to provide academic writing material (1) paraphrasing and quoting skills, (2) word or lexical variations, (3) active and inactive sentences, (4) thinking processes which include ability to understand written information, (5) structure and development of arguments in micro and macro stages. In addition, to achieve the second goal, provide insights related to the use of Mendeley, Vos Viewer, and Sciendiret and Scihub. It is hoped that these two indicators will be able to solve the problems faced by BIPA teachers

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penyimpangan bahasa yang dilakukan murid kepada gurunya di sekolah dasar. Kajian ini menerapkan metode kualitatif. Data penelitian yang digunakan berupa tuturan antara murid kepada guru di kelas VI berupa pelanggaran maksim ketidaksopanan di SDI Mabdaul Falah. Adapun tahapan-tahapan pengumpulan data sebagai berikut: (1) mengumpulkan data yang sesuai (2) mereduksi data yang relevan (3) menyajikan data (4) menarik kesimpulan. Penelitian ini memastikan analisis dilakukan secara menyeluruh dan relevan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan enam temuan maksim yaitu: (1) kebijaksanaan (2) kedermawanan (3) penghargaan (4) kesederhanaan (5) permufakatan (6) kesimpatisan. Peneliti mengklasifikasi dan menyaring dalam setiap maksim ada dua contoh data serta pemaparannya. Jadi, total peneliti memperoleh sebanyak 12 data dari 6 maksim.Berdasarkan permasalahan yang telah dikaji. Hasil penelitian ini memiliki implikasi penting dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnya dalam pembentukan karakter dan etika berbahasa murid di sekolah dasar. Ditemukannya pelanggaran terhadap enam maksim kesantunan menunjukkan perlunya perhatian lebih dari guru, orang tua, dan pembuat kebijakan pendidikan terhadap pembelajaran etika komunikasi sejak dini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji daya subversif lagu-lagu dalam album Gelap Gempita karya Band Sukatani dengan menggunakan model Studi Wacana Kritis (SWK) Teun A. van Dijk  untuk mengungkap struktur mikro, superstruktur, dan struktur makro dalam lirik yang bekerja membangun kritik sosial tajam terhadap institusi kekuasaan. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif-interpretatif dengan data lirik tiga lagu yang dinilai paling representatif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa lagu-lagu tersebut menyampaikan kritik tajam melalui repetisi, kelugasan sintaksis, dan ketajaman leksikal menjadi strategi utama dalam menyampaikan kritik. Pada level superstruktur, pola verse–chorus digunakan sebagai mekanisme pengorganisasian wacana yang menegaskan kritik secara tepat dan tegas. Sementara itu, struktur makro menampilkan tema besar tentang korupsi sistemik, ketidakadilan hukum, dan pembangunan eksploitatif yang membentuk representasi realitas sosial kelas bawah. Secara praktis, temuan ini berkontribusi pada pembelajaran bahasa dengan menunjukkan fakta bahwa pilihan diksi dan organisasi wacana dapat digunakan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan analisis dan berpikir kritis terhadap sebuah wacana.

Abstract

Many ancient manuscripts in Indonesia are experiencing damage, neglect, and even illegal trade, endangering their status as cultural heritage. The Mpu Tantular State Museum, which houses 334 manuscripts, plays a crucial role in safeguarding these collections. However, a comprehensive evaluation of its preservation practices has never been conducted. This study aims to evaluate the preservation of ancient manuscripts at the Mpu Tantular State Museum using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews with three key informants, and documentation. Source triangulation was conducted through policy documents, activity reports, and field observations to ensure data validity. The results show that in the context aspect, the museum has established clear objectives and supporting policies, although a structured evaluation system is lacking. In terms of input, limitations remain in human resources, facilities, and budget allocation. The preservation process is conducted through traditional yet systematic methods, such as cleaning, citronella oil application, and fumigation, supported by external collaboration. The product aspect demonstrates positive outcomes in maintaining manuscript condition and academic utilization, although public access remains limited. Theoretically, this study contributes to expanding the application of the CIPP model in the field of manuscript preservation by adapting it to the context of regional museums, offering a new analytical perspective that bridges the gap between ideal preservation standards and practical implementation in local cultural institutions.

Abstract

Among the choices of grammatical forms, the transitive system stands out in the pedophile community. The purpose of this study is to reveal the exercise of power and ideology of pedophiles through their transitive choices. In systemic functional linguistics (SFL), the transitivity system is widely used to analyze isolated clauses and contextual clauses. The data for this research was taken from conversational texts by pedophiles at WordPress Jakongsu from December 2021 to February 2022. Data were collected through netnography approach (Kozinets, 2010), which applies ethnography collection technique in the virtual world. The existed data were compiled in a digital archive. To analyze the data, Fairclough's critical discourse analysis (CDA) model was used (i.e., description, interpretation, and explanation). The findings of the study indicate that pedophiles tend to use clauses of the material process than those of mental and relational processes.
