Abstract

Desain grafis kini menjadi aspek penting di berbagai bidang, mulai dari dunia kerja hingga media sosial. Bagi siswa jurusan Desain Komunikasi Visual (DKV) di SMK penguasaan terhadap aplikasi desain seperti CorelDRAW yang mudah dipelajari oleh pemula dan umum digunakan sangatlah penting. Namun berdasarkan pengamatan awal, banyak siswa mengalami kendala dalam mengoperasikannya, yang disebabkan oleh keterbatasan fasilitas dan minimnya praktik langsung. Untuk mengatasi kebutuhan tersebut, tim menyusun kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa pelatihan dasar desain grafis berbasis CorelDRAW. Pelatihan ini ditujukan untuk siswa kelas X DKV di SMK Ibrahimy 1 Sukorejo guna memberikan pemahaman dasar, pengenalan antarmuka, penggunaan tools dasar, teknik pewarnaan, serta keterampilan membuat desain sederhana seperti logo.

Abstract

The Microsoft PowerPoint training program is one form of skill development in the use of information technology within the educational environment. This activity aims to enhance students’ understanding and skills in utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint as an effective and engaging presentation tool. The training was conducted on June 3, 2025, at the Laboratory of the Faculty of Science and Technology, involving 30 female students from Class X2 of SMA Ibrahimy 2 Sukorejo. The materials presented included an introduction to PowerPoint, steps for creating presentation slides, and hands-on practice sessions. The results of the training indicated a significant improvement in students’ ability to create independent and creative presentation media. It is expected that the participants will be able to apply the acquired skills in teaching and learning activities as well as in other contexts requiring structured and visual information delivery.

Abstract

This seminar was held to introduce and unify ideas about Operating Systems and Artificial Intelligence (AI) among students of SMP Ibrahimy 3 Sukorejo. The main objective of this seminar is to instill a basic understanding in students about how AI and Operating Systems can work together to improve the quality of teaching and learning activities. This seminar is packaged with an interactive method and equipped with easy-to-practice explanations so that students can more easily understand and apply AI wisely. The results of this event show an increase in students' interest and practical insight into AI technology and awareness of its responsible application. By holding this seminar, it is hoped that students will have the initial capital to face the rapid progress of technology and be able to use it productively and ethically

Abstract

Presentations are the ability to transfer knowledge effectively. Microsoft PowerPoint is a robust and reliable presentation software. The skill of presenting information visually and engagingly is no longer just a supplementary ability; it's key to developing students' critical thinking, creativity, and communication effectiveness.However, at SMP  Ibrahimy 3, a significant gap has been identified in female students' mastery of the PowerPoint application. Varying levels of understanding and limited access to computers result in suboptimal, less interactive presentations that fail to convey information effectively. This situation directly hinders the students' academic potential in various learning activities, from project assignments to group discussions.Therefore, efforts to improve proficiency in using Microsoft PowerPoint are crucial to equip students with relevant and essential digital skills in the current era.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to develop the graphic design skills of the female students at SMK Ibrahimy 1 Sukorejo through training on the use of the Canva application. The training was conducted to motivate students to utilize Canva optimally. The method employed was a descriptive qualitative approach consisting of three main stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The training was carried out virtually and involved 49 participants, covering lecture sessions, Q&A discussions, and practical poster-making exercises. The evaluation results showed that most participants felt satisfied and benefited from the training. In addition to enhancing graphic design skills, this activity was also intended to foster creativity, boost self-confidence, and cultivate entrepreneurial potential among students in the creative industry sector. The average satisfaction level among participants was 90.4%. Therefore, this training proved effective as a means of empowering students to face the challenges of a digitally driven job market.

Abstract

SMA Ibrahimy 1 adalah sebuah institusi pendidikan yang bernaung di bawah Pondok Pesantren, dan saat ini masih mengalami kendala dalam pemanfaatan serta perkembangan teknologi informasi. Keterbatasan dalam pembaruan teknologi berakibat pada rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam beradaptasi dengan sistem dan teknologi informasi yang terus berkembang. Oleh karena itu, program pengabdian ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menghadapi tantangan dunia digital dengan mengadakan seminar teknologi, terutama mengenai penggunaan aplikasi Microsoft Excel. Microsoft Excel adalah salah satu perangkat lunak pengolah data yang umum digunakan di banyak sektor, termasuk pendidikan, bisnis, dan pemerintahan. Seminar ini menyediakan pembahasan praktis untuk siswa agar bisa menggunakan Microsoft Excel, mencakup materi seperti pembuatan data absensi, pengolahan data, dan pembuatan grafik. Pelaksanaan seminar ini dilakukan secara tatap muka dengan melibatkan lembaga, terutama dalam lingkungan SMA Ibrahimy 1. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan sistem informasi yang sederhana dan mudah dipahami dapat meningkatkan kesiapan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran di era digital. Dengan kata lain, penguasaan Microsoft Excel menjadi langkah penting dalam mendukung transformasi digital dan pengembangan keterampilan teknologi siswa di SMA Ibrahimy 1.

Abstract

Keterampilan desain grafis sangat dibutuhkan di berbagai sektor usaha, seperti percetakan, periklanan, multimedia, fashion dan industri kreatif lainnya. Salah satu aplikasi desain grafis adalah CorelDraw. CorelDraw memiliki kelebihan mudah digunakan dan memiliki banyak fitur juga alat, sehingga media ini cocok digunakan untuk pemula sebagai latihan dasar dalam membuat sebuah desain grafis. Pelatihan desain grafis CorelDraw diberikan kepada siswa kelas X DKV SMK Ibrahimy 1 Sukorejo. Pada tahap awal persiapan harus ditentukan terlebih dahulu tema pelatihan desain grafis. Setelah itu dilakuka survey pada lokasi kegiatan pelatihan. Dari hasil survey terhadap tema pelatihan desain grafis,semua siswa kelas X DKV yang memiliki keahlian dan bisa mengoperasikan aplikasi CorelDraw untuk menghasilkan sebuah karya desain, poster, pamflet dan karya lainnya. Setelah mengetahui kondisi di lokasi kegiatan Pelatihan, selanjutnya membuat materi pelatihan desain grafis Corel Draw. Pelaksanaan pelatihan dengan tema pelatihan desain grafis CorelDraw bagi siswa kelas X DKV SMK Ibrahimy 1 Sukorejo berjalan dengan lancar. Peserta pelatihan antusias mengikuti pelatihan dan dapat menerima materi dengan baik, Hasil evaluasi terhadap kepuasan kegiatan PKM, sebanyak 11 peserta (82%) menyatakan sangat  puas dan 4 peserta (17%) menyatakan puas. Beberapa masukan terkait waktu pelaksanaan perlu ditambah dan ada pelatihan lanjutan pelatihan desain grafis menggunakan aplikasi lain seperti Adobe Photoshop.

Abstract

The potential of social media, pamphlets, and posters and others is greatly influenced by graphic design skills. Graphic design plays a crucial role in the creative industry. Mastery of the CorelDRAW application significantly enhances student competence, especially for those in the multimedia field. One form of this effort is carried out through training activities at SMK Ibrahimy 1 Sukorejo which aims to improve students' graphic design skills through the use of the CorelDRAW application.The training program involved intensive learning, hands-on practice, and project evaluation. A total of 30 multimedia students participated in this activity, which was conducted in four stages: Presentation session, Hands-on practice session, discussion session. The evaluation results showed that 85% of students demonstrated improvement in producing better and more aesthetic designs. This indicates a strong understanding of CorelDRAW features, particularly in mastering vectors, layout design, and object manipulation.Moreover, the training succeeded in fostering student creativity to produce innovative design works with strong appeal, which can compete in the creative industry. This community service initiative is expected to strengthen vocational competencies and better prepare students to face challenges in the global job market.

Abstract

Developing students' design skills in the aspect of skills has become a necessity and is important, so it is necessary to conduct design training using CorelDraw for the students of SMK Ibrahimy 1 Sukorejo. However, the challenge faced by the students of SMK Ibrahimy 1 Sukorejo at this time is the low interest of students in using design technology. This is evident from some students who still struggle to create designs with CorelDraw. This activity includes training in graphic design, logo creation, covers, and book cover design using the CorelDRAW application. The objective of this activity is for students to better understand graphic design and to create impressive creative works.

Abstract

 Scientific writing skills (KTI) and Microsoft Word proficiency are essential for students starting in junior high school. This community service activity aims to improve the student council (OSIS) of Ibrahimy 3 Sukorejo Junior High School's (SMP Ibrahimy 3 Sukorejo) ability to structure scientific papers using Microsoft Word features. The training lasted two hours, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. WIB (Western Indonesian Time), using a demonstration approach and hands-on practice. The activity included a needs survey for participants, material preparation, two training sessions (theory and practice), and evaluations based on interactive quizzes and individual practice. The training materials covered the structure of scientific papers and the use of Microsoft Word features, such as headings, margins, page numbering, and an automatic table of contents. Evaluation results showed that 80% of participants were in the "Good" to "Very Good" category, with satisfaction scores ranging from 3.6 to 3.9 on a scale of 4. These findings indicate that the training was well-received and effective in improving participants' academic literacy and digital skills
