Abstract

Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwasannya model pembelajaran konstruktifisme dapat menumbuh kembangkan kreatif peserta didik dan juga guru, karena dalam model pembelajaran ini, siswa dituntut untuk berimajinasi dari materi yang telah disampaikan oleh guru, hasil ini setuju sependapat dengan pemikiran Alok Kumar (2011) model pembelajaran konstruktivisme menunjukkan bahwa dapat dipertahankan oleh dunia pendidikan karena hal ini dapat membangun pengalaman siswa melalui pembelajaran aktif. Menurut pendapat Rida Blaik-Hourani (2011) konstruktivisme memperbaiki pengetahuan siswa, mengembangkan keterampilan melalui berpikir kritis dan memberikan stimulus untuk memahami dunia sekitar. Hasil penelitian dengann pendapat Khaled F. Alazzi dan Ayed Khawaldeh, (2008) yang menyatakan bahwa pembelajaran konstruktivisme tidak diterima oleh masyarakat konservatif karena mereka beranggapan pengetahuan berpusat pada seorang guru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk integrasi antara Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dan Bimbingan Konseling (BK) dalam pembentukan akhlakul karimah santri di SMPIQu Al-Bahjah Cirebon. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena degradasi moral remaja yang menuntut adanya sinergi antara pembinaan spiritual dan pendampingan psikologis di lingkungan pendidikan Islam. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap guru PAI, guru BK, dan santri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi PAI dan BK dilakukan melalui pembinaan ibadah, mentoring akhlak, layanan konseling islami, serta kegiatan penguatan karakter berbasis nilai Qur’ani. Integrasi tersebut berdampak pada meningkatnya kesadaran spiritual, kedisiplinan ibadah, serta perilaku sosial santri. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa kolaborasi PAI dan BK merupakan model pembinaan karakter yang relevan untuk memperkuat akhlakul karimah di sekolah berbasis pesantren.

Abstract

The increasing complexity and volume of medical record documentation demand students to read efficiently and accurately. However, conventional learning approaches often do not adequately support the development of effective reading strategies aligned with professional needs. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of integrating speed reading strategies within the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model to improve reading speed among medical record students. This study employed a quasi-experimental design involving 60 second-year medical record students at STIKES Sapta Bakti Bengkulu. The intervention was conducted over six weeks by embedding speed reading techniques into the stages of the PBL learning process. Students’ reading performance was assessed using pre-test and post-test measurements of reading speed. The data were analyzed using comparative statistical analysis to determine the effectiveness of the intervention. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ reading speed after the implementation of PBL-based speed reading activities. The average reading speed increased from 150 words per minute (wpm) in the pre-test to 250 wpm in the post-test, with the difference being statistically significant (p < 0.05). These findings indicate that the integration of speed reading strategies within a problem-based learning environment effectively enhances students’ ability to process medical record texts more efficiently. In conclusion, integrating speed reading strategies into the Problem-Based Learning model is effective in improving reading speed among medical record students. This approach provides a relevant instructional strategy that supports the cognitive demands of medical record analysis and contributes to the development of effective learning practices in medical record education.

Abstract

The accuracy of diagnosis coding using the International Classification of Diseases, 10th Revision (ICD-10) is an essential component of medical record quality, health data validity, and healthcare financing systems. However, in practice, various coding errors are still found due to limited staff competence, incomplete clinical documentation, and the lack of continuous evaluation. This community service activity aimed to improve the accuracy of ICD-10 diagnosis coding through training, mentoring, and medical record quality control in hospitals. The program was implemented in stages, including theoretical training and case-based coding exercises, direct mentoring in the medical record unit, and periodic medical record audits as a form of quality assurance. Evaluation was conducted on 100 medical record files before and after the intervention. The results showed that the accuracy of primary diagnosis coding increased from 68% to 90%, while the accuracy of secondary diagnosis coding increased from 60% to 85%. Errors in the use of the fourth character of ICD-10 decreased from 32% to 10%, and the use of overly general codes declined from 28% to 8%. In addition, the completeness of clinical documentation improved from 70% to 92%. This activity proved effective in enhancing the competence of medical record officers, improving the quality of diagnosis coding, and supporting the improvement of health data quality and hospital services. Therefore, continuous training, regular mentoring, and routine medical record quality audits are recommended as sustainable strategies to maintain the accuracy of ICD-10 coding.
