Abstract

Introduction: One of the most common forms of anxiety among final-year students is thesis-related anxiety. A thesis is a requirement for students to earn their degree in their field of study. Difficulties in completing a thesis often arise from challenges in choosing a topic, writing the thesis report, and anxiety when dealing with academic advisors. This study aims to analyze the impact of social support through supportive group therapy on students' motivation to complete their thesis. Method: This study employs a one-group pre-test post-test design. The population consists of all final-year nursing students, totaling 94 students, with the sampling technique using total sampling. The therapy sessions were conducted in 14 groups, each facilitated by a supervising lecturer as a therapy facilitator. A motivation questionnaire was administered before and after the supportive group therapy sessions. The questionnaire consisted of 20 items related to motivation. Data analysis was conducted using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Results: The results of the study indicate a change in students' motivation to complete their thesis. Before the therapy, 82% of students had a moderate level of motivation, while 18% had a high level of motivation. After the therapy, the percentage of students with moderate motivation decreased to 5%, while those with high motivation increased to 95%. The data analysis showed a p-value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. Conclusions: Supportive group therapy provides for students to share experiences and strategies for completing their thesis. Students receive emotional and social support from their peers and facilitators, which boosts their confidence and motivation to overcome challenges in the thesis-writing process.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) pada Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK) di Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) Pancaran Kasih dan Sayange Cirebon pada dasarnya harus dilakukan sesuai dengan ketentuan pada umumnya, namun memiliki perbedaan yang besar terkait kondisi siswa yang berbeda tingkat kecerdasan intelegensi dan sosial dengan anak seusianya secara umum. Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan faktor pendukung dan penghambat pembelajaran PAI di SLB Pancaran Kasih dan SLB Sayange Cirebon. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi yang selanjutnya dianalisis dengan reduksi, penyajian dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: 1. Perencanaan pembelajaran dilakukan dengan cara membuat Program pembelajaran Individual (PPI) yang pada prinsipnya sama dengan Rencana Pelaksaaan Pembelajaran (RPP) hanya saja terdapat sejumlah adaptasi sesuai dengan kebutuhan. 2. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran untuk ABK membutuhkan guru dengan kualifikasi sarjana akan tetapi memiliki keterampilan dan sikap khusus berkaitan dengan ABK. 3. faktor penghambat pelaksanaan pembelajaran pendidikan agama islam bagi ABK di kedua sekolah tersebut yaitu: faktor internal, Kurangnya fokus pada saat proses pembelajaran dan faktor eksternal, Kurangnya pengajar faktor pendukung yaitu: faktor internal, Kerja sama antara sesama guru untuk selalu memotivasi siswa dan faktor eksternal, motivasi keluarga yang selalu mendukung anaknya. Abstract

The Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) outbreak occurred in almost all of countries. This phenomenon causes changes in various aspects of life, such as health, economic, social, psychological, cultural, and more. Psychological responses experienced by health workers are the feelings of anxiety about their health and the spread of the virus to their families. Hence, nurses need to understand the problems that being faced, therefore they have no difficulties in recognizing their emotions. The ability of nurses to regulate their emotions is needed to focus on dealing with a problem. This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional regulation and anxiety among nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is quantitative research with a descriptive correlation design and a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique that used was accidental sampling with a total of 202 respondents, which was carried out during July 2020. The results of the pearson product moment analysis obtained that p-value is 0.007 < 0.05. It can be concluded that there is a relationship between emotional regulation and anxiety among nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic. Nurses are expected to be able to control their emotions, therefore they can recognize problems and determine appropriate actions, thus anxiety will not occur

Abstract

Perkembangan era digital mendorong orang tua menghadapi tantangan baru dalam pengasuhan anak, terutama terkait paparan terhadap konten audiovisual. Namun, masih sedikit kajian yang membahas pemanfaatan teknologi terbuka dalam mendukung literasi anak di bidang ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pemanfaatan Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) dalam praktik parenting untuk meningkatkan literasi audiovisual anak. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa OSINT membantu orang tua dalam menyaring informasi, mengidentifikasi risiko media digital, serta membangun interaksi edukatif dengan anak. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa OSINT berpotensi menjadi alat strategis dalam pengasuhan modern yang berorientasi pada literasi media.

Abstract

Chronic malnutrition can cause growth and development disorders in children. This case is named stunting. Stunting is often experienced by toddlers in Indonesia. One of the main concerns of Tegal Regency Government is the high incidence of stunting. Efforts to decrease the incidence of stunting with structured interventions involving the community, especially parents who have children below two years of age. The study aimed to assess the efficacy of the Gemati program, namely the community assistance movement in Tegal Regency. The study took a quantitative approach and used a pre-experimental design with a single-group pretest-posttest design. All of the respondents were mothers of toddlers who were small in height. The sampling method was a total sampling. The study’s findings revealed an improvement in toddler mothers’ knowledge and skills in detecting and preparing a balanced nutritional menu. The government and the community must collaborate to ensure that the stunting prevention program is carried out effectively in order to reduce stunting. The government determines the policies to control stunting and protect the rights of mothers and children, increasing food security and environmental sanitation, and giving health education about stunting continually. The Gemati program has to be implemented sustainably and applied to all villages that have a high incidence of stunting so that the acceleration of handling stunting in Tegal Regency can achieve the results optimally.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meringkas berbagai jenis evaluasi yang bisa diterapkan dalam usaha pendidikan nonformal. Mengingat tantangan yang dihadapi oleh pelaku usaha pendidikan nonformal, evaluasi menjadi langkah penting untuk mengukur keberhasilan program dan melakukan perbaikan. Melalui studi pustaka, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi beragam model evaluasi yang telah dikembangkan, seperti evaluasi sumatif dan formatif, serta model-model evaluasi yang lebih spesifik seperti CIPP dan CSE. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keragaman pendekatan dalam evaluasi pendidikan nonformal. Pemahaman yang mendalam terhadap berbagai model evaluasi ini diharapkan bisa memberikan panduan bagi para pelaku usaha pendidikan nonformal dalam menentukan metode evaluasi yang paling cocok dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik program mereka.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of product quality on purchase decisions with brand trust as a mediating variable for injection products at CV Surya Fajar Multitama. The background of this research is based on the importance of product quality as one of the main factors in building trust in a brand, which in turn can encourage consumers to make purchases. In an era of increasingly intense business competition, companies are required to maintain consistent quality to create a brand image that is reliable and trustworthy. This research employs a quantitative approach with data analysis conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method based on SmartPLS. The sample consisted of 97 respondents, who were consumers of CV Surya Fajar Multitama, selected through purposive sampling. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire consisting of items measuring product quality, brand trust, and purchase decision variables. The results of the study show that product quality has a positive and significant effect on brand trust, with a coefficient value of 0.718 and a p-value of 0.000, indicating that the better the product quality perceived by consumers, the higher their trust in the brand. In addition, product quality was also found to have a direct influence on purchase decisions, with a coefficient of 0.460 and a p-value of 0.000, suggesting that consumers’ perception of product quality plays an important role in driving their purchasing decisions. Furthermore, brand trust was found to have a significant effect on purchase decisions, with a coefficient of 0.385 and a p-value of 0.000, indicating that consumers’ trust in a brand strengthens their confidence in making purchases. The indirect effect of product quality on purchase decisions through brand trust was also significant, with a coefficient value of 0.276 and a p-value of 0.000, showing that brand trust acts as a partial mediator in this relationship. These findings highlight the importance of continuously maintaining product quality to build brand trust and strengthen consumers’ purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan hak dasar setiap warga negara,namun fenomena anak putus sekolah masih menjadi permasalahan di berbagai daerah pedesaan ,hal ini terjadi akibat keterbatasan ekonomi,social maupun akses Pendidikan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mendirikan pusat kegiatan belajar masyarakat (PKBM) sebagai alternatif Pendidikan non formal bagi anak putus sekolah. Metode Pelaksanaan melalui Participatory Action Research (PAR),sosialisasi kepada masyarakat,pembentukan pengelolaan PKBM,serta Menyusun kurikulum kesetaraan. Hasil menunjukan adanya peningkatan kesadaran tentang pentingnya Pendidikan, terbentuknya PKBM di Desa Megu Cilik serta terselenggaranya program kesetaraan Paket A,B dan C.PKBM ini merupakan sarana yang strategis dalam memberikan kesempatan kedua bagi anak putus sekolah sekaligus merupakan wadah untuk memberdayakan masyarakat

Abstract

Analog rice is an artificial rice product that resembles the shape and texture of conventional rice. This study aimed to determine the optimal concentration of agar flour (Gracilaria sp.) substitution in the formulation of analog rice based on beneng taro starch and corn starch. A Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was used with four levels of agar flour concentration: 0%, 5%, 7.5%, and 10%. The research stages included the production of analog rice, evaluation of physical characteristics (whiteness degree, rehydration capacity, and expansion ratio), chemical properties (moisture, ash, fat, protein, carbohydrate), and hedonic test (appearance, aroma, taste, and texture). Data were analyzed using SPSS version 20.0, and the best treatment was determined using De Garmo’s effectiveness index. Nutritional Adequacy Rate (RDA) values were calculated using Microsoft Excel. The results showed that the best treatment was 7.5% agar flour substitution. The physical characteristics included an expansion ratio of 110%, rehydration capacity of 107%, and whiteness degree of 31.2%. The chemical composition consisted of 11.30% moisture, 1.89% ash, 0.18% fat, 1.73% protein, 84.80% carbohydrates (by difference), and 5.40% dietary fiber. The hedonic test results showed scores for appearance (5.07), smell (5.53), taste (5.10), and texture (6.03). These results indicate that the substitution of Gracilaria sp. agar flour can improve the physical, chemical, and sensory characteristics of analog rice.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran holistik pada anak usia dini yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai Qur’ani sebagai upaya pembentukan karakter Islam. Model pembelajaran holistik ini dirancang untuk mengintegrasikan aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik secara harmonis sesuai dengan ajaran Islam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan tahapan perencanaan, pengembangan, dan evaluasi model pembelajaran. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari pendidik dan anak usia dini di lembaga pendidikan yang menerapkan nilai Qur’ani. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran holistik berbasis nilai Qur’ani mampu meningkatkan pemahaman anak terhadap ajaran Islam sekaligus membentuk karakter religius yang kuat, seperti jujur, disiplin, sabar, dan kepedulian sosial. Model ini juga memberikan pendekatan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan sesuai dengan perkembangan anak usia dini. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran ini dapat dijadikan sebagai acuan bagi pendidik dalam membentuk karakter Islam sejak dini secara komprehensif.
