Abstract

Website filkom.ub.ac.id is a facility provided by the Faculty of Computer Science Universitas Brawijaya as a medium for disseminating important information related to academic and non academic information and to fulfill the assessment on the form so that the quality of the website must be considered for the accuracy and completeness of the published data information as well as for know the ease of operation of website for user. To be able to know the quality of website, then conducted a research in the form of evaluation of website quality Faculty of Computer Science Universitas Brawijaya use product operation concept with correctness, reliability, effiency, integrity, and usability aspects. The design of this study using descriptive and techniques used to collect data is a questionnaire with the number 98 respondents. In the descriptive analysis, the average result of the correctness variable is 82,98% with good category, the reliability variable equal to 81,05% with good category, effiency variable equal to 73,00% with good category, integrity variable equal to 82,63% with category good, and usability variable equal to 83,57% with good category in indicator communicativenes and operability, where as on training indicator at task T2, T3, and T4 have 100% effectiveness and 100% efficiency while for effectiveness T1 get score 95% and efficiency 84%. From the average of T1, T2, T3, and T4 obtained very good category for effectiveness and very good category for efficiency. Abstract

One of the problems in this research is the existence of the evaluation has not been done of Education department website. The purpose of the evaluation is conducted to find out the quality of usability, information quality, and service interaction quality of website in Education Department of Pasuruan Regency. The sample used of 100 respondents from a population of website users, with sampling simple random sampling. The collection of data obtained from the dissemination of the questionnaire then analyzed using descriptive statistics and calculation of Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The results of descriptive statistics that the third variable included in the high category. The results of the value of the variable gap usability it of -0.35, information quality of-0.32, and service quality of interaction -0.36. Based on this website we can conclude that the website is considered able to meet the ideal quality. Indicators that need to be done improvements web colors, comfortable design is viewed, the type and size of the font is easy to read, the color of the background contrasts with the font color, information up to date, useful information for user information is beneficial to users, ease of communicating with organizations (links to the SKPD), and speed to respond and give a response.

Abstract

Surya Sembada Regional water utility company Surabaya using website technology for customer to find bill information or water installation. Until this day surya sembada website has never been evaluated to check by web provider whether the website already fulfill user expectation or not. This research is using WebQual method that creates 3 main focus variable which is usability, information quality, and service interaction to assess site quality from user perspective. Then with Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method to assess the quality of product and service based on customer perspective. The collection of data was obtained by distributing questionnaire to 100 respondents. The sampling technique used is convenience sampling. The data analysis technique using descriptive statistics. The result of this research is indicators from WebQual method that require recommendation based on quadrant IPA analysis in quadrant low priority. In variable usability indicators that require recommendations are easy to trace, draw, and design. In variable information quality there are no indicators that require recommendations. In service interaction variables indicators that require recommendations are good reputation, personalization, and community.

Abstract

CV KAJEYE FOOD is a company that engaged in fruit processing, especially chips and candied fruit that called SoKressh & Kenyil. The recap process of fruit chips sales is still done manually. It takes time and has possibility of human error that caused the error information. The company sometimes experience over-production in the fruit chips production, so it can cause harm to the company. The company needs information system that can manage the sales and can predict the demand of fruit chips in the next period. Development of information systems using waterfall method that starts from requirement analysis, design, implementation and testing. Design and implementation using structural approach (Data Flow Diagram, Entity Relationship Diagram and State Transition Diagram). Implementation of sales management information system is web-based and uses exponential smoothing and moving averages method in forecasting demand. The test results using white-box and black-box method indicate that all function of system run well according to requirement and design. Testing of forecasting method of exponential smoothing and moving averages shows that exponential smoothing method with constant 0.9 is the most accurate forecasting method, with mean absolute deviation of 924.5, mean square error of 876,752.5 and mean absolute percent error of 26.1%.

Abstract

Faculty of Computer Science Brawijaya University create a web-based application to facilitate the work of stakeholders. Application was named Filkom Apps. the observations found that does not display any information. Empty menu will affect user expectations of the system. User do not know the existence of logbook guidance, while logbook feature is one of the main features. Therefore it necessary to evaluate usability, to measure application usability level based on 5 usability aspect efficiency, effectiveness, learnability, memorability and satisfaction. Methods of usability testing, observation and interview are used to measure usability level and to explore problem that related to usability by given task scenario to users. The result of usability testing shows that the value of efficiency (86%), effectiveness(87,5%), learnability has gap 1,35 between test 1 and test 2. Memorability improves the ability of the number click and the number of steps. Satisfaction measured by a SUS questionnaire get scored 65 under the average standard (68). There are some problem related content, navigation and layout. Usability problem found during testing was given improvement recommendation to increase the usability level.

Abstract

User Experience (UX) is an important aspect in the development of digital business as it is one of the key in website content. Researchers have attributed a pleasurable user experience to the fulfillment of the following variables: usability, satisfaction, enjoyment, fun and visual appeal. Parallax scrolling as one of the web design techniques is considered to bring UX to a new interactive level and is even considered a new limitation in UX. Therefore, parallax scrolling has recently become quite popular among web developers. Parallax scrolling is a visual effect that duplicates the depth of an image or two-dimensional screen to make it look three dimensional. Unfortunately, speculation about parallax scrolling and UX relationships is still emerging because parallax scrolling is considered bad for search engine optimization (SEO), weakening internal linking and causing load duration due to the large number of images used in websites with parallax scrolling which may then potentially have an effect on UX. In this study used the above variables in order to see how the user experience when interacting with the website with and without parallax scrolling and find the reason why parallax scrolling is considered to have an effect or no effect on UX.The results showed that participants' experience did not differ greatly, so parallax scrolling concluded did not significantly affect UX. Another reason why parallax scrolling is considered to be unaffected is that in the study only two participants were aware of the effects of parallax scrolling on the website they were using, so it was not certain that the assessment by all participants was due to the use of parallax scrolling.

Abstract

Kampung Batik Jetis is one of the tourist village located in Sidoarjo regency. However, tourists who visit the Sidoarjo regency is less knowing of the existence of the village. Therefore, there are emerging needs of the village of batik, which currently do not have a profile web-based information portal with the purpose of showing all information for the public. Website development is done by using Rational Unified Process method. This method allows to systematically control the changes that occur in the software during the development process. Website development use object-oriented analysis and design approach where each requirement is grouped in several objects. Diagrams used include use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams and class diagrams. The test was performed using black box testing method and white box testing method. The solution for the lack of media introduction Kampung Batik Jetis one of which is the development of a website profile. Black box testing results using the use case testing techniques of 18 features tested entirely valid. While testing with white box testing method with basis path testing techniques resulting in three valid test results. The expected results with the website profile, residents, especially craftsmen Kampung Batik Jetis can promote the village to the maximum.

Abstract

SIAKAD Polinema is created to ease the performance of the academic authorities and students in organizing documents, files, and matters related to academic. It was necessary to evaluate the quality of service and rate of admission to the information system in Politeknik Negeri Malang. The analysis was performed using two methods: WebQual 4.0 and the Technology Acceptance Model 1.0. In this study, each method was limited to use one variable only. The WebQual 4.0 method used Variable Usability and the Technology Acceptance Model 1.0 method used Variable Perceived Usefulness which these two variables had the average percentage that could be included into the high category. Perceived Usefulness had an average percentage of 71.6% and the percentage of Usability has an average of 67.0%. The recommendation that can be given in this study is the second variable that was used needed to be improved in order to improve service quality and level of admissions of SIAKAD Polinema.

Abstract

The rapid development in the business world, especially on the field of electronic selling requires good data management. Branded IT Store is one of the companies that sells electronic goods. Implementation in recording of sales transactions that are still manually managed, causes sales data can not directly connected with other data related to product and has no information about products given to the customers via online. Based on the problems, sales force automation information system provide solutions by developing a system that can solve the problem of sales transactions and facilitate customers to seek information via online. The development of this research uses prototyping method to make it easier for users to better understand the needs of users in the early stages. There is 1 iteration from the results of this study, resulting in 21 functional requirements and 1 non-functional requirement. The results of validation testing of this research are functions related to the management of product data, data management sales, employee data management, customer data management, and make purchases can run well and have valid results. The result of UAT shows that the system is 100% acceptable from the company where manager, seller and cashier as the tester. In the compatibility testing results there are minor issues in the web browser application from Internet Explorer 9 to 11, Firefox 58 web browser and BlackBerry web browser application with version 7.1 or earlier.

Abstract

PPID department on KPU Malang city is a department that its function is to provide, serve, and publish public information. In the daily operation, some processes are still not optimal like data is not integrated, loss of data because of human error, and information that is not updated on timely manner because of poor management of information. Based on those mistakes, this research aim to evaluate current business process on PPID. Business process is modeled using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN). After modeling the business process, the next step is to evaluate the business process and improving the business process. After the business processes are evaluated using Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), the result is Risk Priority Number (RPN). Each of highest RPN from four business processes are solved using Business Process Improvement (BPI) method. The results of business process improvement are time improvement of 65.47% per process on penerimaan permohonan informasi publik process, time improvement of 99.47% per process on penyusunan laporan process, time improvement of 28.33% per process on pengesahan laporan process, and 97.46% per process on umpan balik laporan process.
