Abstract

The urgency of this service lies in the development of digital technology that has changed children's learning patterns, including in early childhood. Many educators have not fully utilized technology in the learning process. This Community Service is focused on the role of teachers and teachers' understanding in the application and use of digital media in learning in kindergartens in the IGTKI Tasikmasdu Karanganyar environment. The method used is in the form of qualitative descriptive with systematic stages starting from socialization to several kindergarten schools, training on the actualization of digital educational games, the application of technology in the use of digital educational games, mentoring and evaluation, ending with the sustainability of the ABC Kids digital educational game actualization training program at IGTKI Tasikmadu Karanganyar. The implementation of Community Service consists of several stages, namely observation, socialization; Training; and evaluation. Data was obtained by observation techniques and questionnaire distribution. Strengthening literacy skills at an early age through an interesting and innovative approach based on the actualization of ABC Kids digital educational games is very important to prepare children to face global challenges through improving reading and numeracy skills. This training aims to provide understanding and skills to educators at IGTKI Tasikmadu Karangnyar regarding the use of ABC Kids digital educational games as a fun and effective learning medium in improving literacy culture in early childhood. The results of the service showed a positive impact on learning for both teachers and children with the following survey results 82% of teachers understood, 90% of teachers were skilled in operationalizing, 87 teachers had implemented, and 88% of the results of the presentation met the KKM.

Abstract

This development research aims to describe and describe the development, feasibility, practicality and effectiveness of creative smart tube learning activity media to improve storytelling skills in kindergarten. This development research uses qualitative methods with R&D techniques which refer to the research and development design in Borg and Gall in aten stage research development process. In this development research, the researcher only took seven stages including advantages and problems, combining data, creating media, validating media, improving media, testing media, and revising media. Data collection techniques use observation, question and answer, documentation and bibliography techniques. The results of the accumulated data were then validated using development validation techniques which included the assessment stage of the feasibility results of creative smart tube media carried out by material experts and media experts. The data analysis technique uses qualitative data analysis. From the results of the data description and assessment of the results of development research, a summary conclusion can be drawn, namely: (1) validation of the achievement of the appropriateness of the props by media experts shows a value of 4.35 with an achievement percentage of 87.05% (very feasible), (2) validation of the practicality of the media obtained from group and field trials, (3) validation of media effectiveness obtained from product trials, (4) development of creative smart tube learning media realized in the form of digital learning media, web-based creative smart educational games in the form of numbers, letters and words.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan proses, tantangan, dan peluang implementasi aplikasi Canva sebagai alat bantu visual dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SD. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan strategi studi kasus terpancang. Fokus data mencakup proses, tantangan, dan peluang pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang bersumber dari informan (guru dan siswa kelas V SD Negeri 01 Banjarharjo), observasi aktivitas implementasi Canva, serta dokumen perangkat ajar. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, analisis dokumen, wawancara, tes, serta kuesioner. Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling yaitu siswa kelas V SD Negeri 01 Banjarharjo. Teknik validasi data dengan triangulasi metode dan sumber. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan model interaktif. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi Canva dapat digunakan guru untuk membuat presentasi, video, LKS dan poster serta dapat digunakan secara online (dalam jaringan) maupun tatap muka dalam pembelajaran dengan metode diskusi. Aplikasi canva dapat dimanfaatkan guru dan siswa untuk mendesain produk digital yang dapat diperjualbelikan dan bisa menjadi produk bernilai ekonomis. Tantangan yang dihadapi yaitu internet sekolah kurang stabil, kompetnsi guru dan siswa dalam menggunakan aplikasi canva. Pemanfaatan fitur gratis Canva berkontribusi pada optimalisasi eksplorasi visual yang signifikan. Hal ini secara nyata meningkatkan produktivitas dan kreativitas guru, serta berdampak pada terciptanya pembelajaran siswa yang lebih aktif dan kolaboratif.

Abstract

The purpose of this study describe the character value of the global diversity dimension the short story Ibu Guru Anakku (IGA) as material for strengthening the profile of Pancasila students in the high school phase. This study used descriptive qualitative research methods of text research type. Research data in the form of dialogue / narrative quotes that have messages with global dimension characters, the source of the data is the short story IGA by Gde Aryantha Soethama. Data collection through unit coding, recording units detected as character values with tools in the form of rubrics for classification of elements of global diversity dimensions. Data analysis is carried out by the process of reading the manuscript heuristically and hermeneutically while identifying the data in the manuscript through the matrix of indicator elements/subelements of the Pancasila student profile. The results showed that the global dimension of IGA short stories includes elements of (a) appreciation of local-regional, national, and global cultures; (b) the ability to communicate and interact interculturally, (c) reflection and responsibility for the experience of diversity, and (d) justice by believing in one's potential. Recommendation: the results of this study can be used to support/strengthen the character material profile of Pancasila students at the high school level through a holistic approach, even for students in universities. AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan nilai karakter dimensi berkebinekaan global pada cerpen Ibu Guru Anakku (IGA) sebagai materi penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila fase SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif jenis penelitian teks. Data penelitian berupa kutipan dialog/narasi yang memiliki pesan karakter berdimensi berkebinekaan global. Sumber data adalah cerpen IGA karya Gde Aryantha Soethama. Pengumpulan data melalui pengkodean unit, pencatatan unit yang dideteksi sebagai nilai karakter dengan alat bantu berupa rubrik klasifikasi elemen-elemen dimensi berkebinekaan global. Analisis data dilakukan dengan proses pembacaan naskah secara heuristik dan hermeneutik sambil mengidentifikasi data dalam naskah melalui matrik indikator elemen/subelemen profil pelajar Pancasila. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan karakter berdimensi berkebinekaan global cerpen IGA mencakupi elemen: (a) penghargaan terhadap budaya lokal-regional, nasional, dan global;  (b) kemampuan berkomunikasi dan berinteraksi antarbudaya, (c) refleksi dan tanggung jawab terhadap pengalaman kebinekaan, dan (d) berkeadilan dengan percaya pada potensi diri. Rekomendasi: hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan untuk mendukung/menguatkan materi karakter profil pelajar Pancasila tingkat SMA melalui pendekatan holistis, bahkan untuk mahasiswa di Perguruan Tinggi.

Abstract

This study examines the values of the Pancasila Student Profile contained in the novel Kartini by Wiwid Prasetyo and their relevance to Indonesian language learning in elementary schools. The research aims to describe (1) the Pancasila Student Profile values presented in the novel and (2) their relevance to elementary Indonesian language teaching materials. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method. The data consist of quotations, phrases, and declarative sentences obtained from the novel and Character Education documents issued by the Ministry of Education and Culture. Data were collected through library research, document analysis, and note-taking, with purposive sampling used. Data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation, while data were analyzed using the interactive analysis model of Miles and Huberman, including data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the Kartini novel contains six dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile: faith in God Almighty, global diversity, mutual cooperation, independence, creativity, and critical reasoning. These values are relevant to Indonesian language learning materials in elementary schools, particularly in fostering character values such as faith, diversity, cooperation, responsibility, leadership, and social care. The findings imply that novels can serve as effective learning media for integrating character education and strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile in elementary education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) Mendeskripsikan strategi penguatan nilai-nilai karakter Profil Pelajar Pancasila melalui pembelajaran sastra di Sekolah Dasar. 2) Mendeskripsikan implementasi penguatan nilai-nilai karakter Profil Pelajar Pancasila melalui pembelajaran sastra di Sekolah Dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yang berfokus pada guru dan siswa kelas V SDN 02 Wonosari. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan interview (wawancara), kuesioner (angket), observasi (pengamatan), dan gabungan ketiganya. Analisis data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini menerapkan teknik kualitatif interaktif yaitu pengolahan data secara inetraktif terus menerus sampai tuntas sehingga data sampai jenuh/maksimal. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan meliputi 1). Strategi utama yang digunakan adalah pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dan pembelajaran dengan kompetensi sosial emosional (KSE), yang menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan belajar siswa dan mendorong pengembangan kemandirian, kemampuan sosial, dan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Guru berperan sebagai sutradara dalam proses ini, memberikan contoh yang baik dalam tutur kata dan perilaku sebagai model bagi siswa. 2) Implementasi penguatan nilai karakter Profil Pelajar Pancasila melalui pembelajaran sastra secara mendalam elemen-elemen kunci Profil Pelajar Pancasila dan menerapkan pemahaman tersebut dalam pembelajaran sastra. Guru memfasilitasi siswa untuk memahami ajaran agama dan kepercayaan mereka, serta menerapkan pemahaman tersebut dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.Kata kunci: Nilai karakter, Pembelajaran sastra, Profil Pelajar Pancasila.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai moral dalam novel Cermin Jiwa karya Prasetya Utama sebagai penguat pendidikan karakter, mendeskripsikan implikasi pendidikan karakter yang terkandung dalam novel tersebut di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis isi. Data penelitian berupa kutipan yang berwujud kata, frasa, dan kalimat yang mencerminkan nilai-nilai moral pendidikan karakter. Sumber data berupa novel Cermin Jiwa karya Prasetya Utama yang diterbitkan oleh CV. Alvabet pada tahun 2017 dan modul pendidikan karakter dari Kemendikbud RI. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka, teknik baca, Teknik catat, dan analisis dokumen. Teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Analisis data menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi sastra, teknik dialektik, dan analisis interaktif model Miles dan Huberman dengan tahapan sebagai berikut pengumpulan data, reduksi data, sajian data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Cermin Jiwa karya Prasetya Utama mengandung nilai moral di antaranya: tanggung jawab, empati, kejujuran, kebijaksanaan, dan religiositas, yang esensial untuk pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar. Nilai moral tanggung jawab menguatkan pendidikan karakter percaya diri, nilai moral kasih sayang dan empati menguatkan pendidikan karakter kepedulian sosial, nilai moral religious menguatkan Pendidikan karakter berakhlak mulia, nilai moral kejujuran menguatkan Pendidikan karakter toleransi, nilai moral kebijaksanaan menguatkan pendidikan karakter sabar, dan nilai moral religious menguatkan Pendidikan karakter sabar. Implikasi nilai-nilai moral dalam novel Cermin Jiwa memperkuat pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar. Novel ini memberi teladan bagi siswa untuk mengembangkan karakter positif dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

This qualitative study explores the depiction of the "never give up" attitude in Ahmad Fuadi's novel "Negeri 5 Menara," focusing on its role in reinforcing the Pancasila student profile. Utilizing a methodological framework grounded in theoretical sources, the research conducts an in-depth investigation employing literature review, analysis, and presentation techniques. Data collection methods include library research and meticulous note-taking, with a structured strategy centered on focused inquiry and single case studies. Semiotic analysis is employed to uncover layers of meaning within the text, with data validation conducted through theoretical triangulation. The findings highlight the portrayal of the never give up attitude as the characters' relentless pursuit of success, influenced by their experiences at Pesantren Madani. Key principles shaping this attitude are identified, including "man jadda wajada" (Whoever strives will succeed) and "I’timadu alā nafsik" (Stand on your own feet). In conclusion, the study emphasizes the significance of the never-give-up attitude in fortifying the Pancasila student profile, fostering resilience and determination. It underscores the intricate interplay between literary portrayal and societal values, offering insights for educators and scholars.

Abstract

This research carries the main objective of uncovering the religious values contained in the novel “Garuda di Dadaku” by Salman Aristo and exploring its relevance in the context of literary education in secondary schools. Through a semiotic approach, this study aims to identify and analyze the various religious themes implied in the literary work, including aspects such as faith, Sharia, and morality. In an educational context, these values have great potential to be integrated into the literature curriculum in secondary schools as part of the effort to teach students Islamic character, morals, and teachings. The results of the research analysis highlight key elements such as Aqidah, Sharia, justice, responsibility, and effort contained in the novel. The findings not only provide deep insights into the religious messages conveyed through such literary works, but also provide a solid basis for developing relevant and effective learning strategies in the classroom. By using the novel as teaching material, literature teachers can facilitate in-depth discussions on the religious values found in the story, providing students with opportunities to reflect on and internalize the moral messages conveyed. Thus, this study emphasizes the importance of using literature as a tool to discuss and instill religious values in students. As a relevant and effective resource in literature learning in secondary schools, the novel “Garuda di Dadaku” not only provides a deep reading experience, but also opens the door for deep reflection on life values and religious teachings. Thus, this study makes an important contribution to curriculum development and literature learning practices centered on understanding religious values, semiotics, and students' literary experiences

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the mimicry language in the novel "Sabai Sunwoo" as teaching material for strengthening global diversity character. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach and literary content analysis techniques. The research data consists of words and sentences related to mimicry language found in the novel "Sabai Sunwoo." These materials are intended to be used as teaching resources to enhance the depiction of characters with global diversity. The primary data source of this research is the novel titled "Sabai Sunwoo" by Akmal Nasery Basral. Data were collected through documentation procedures, as well as reading and note-taking approaches. The validity of the data was ensured using source triangulation and theory triangulation methods. The data analysis strategy employs a dialectical approach within the sociology of literature. According to the research findings, mimicry language in Akmal Nasery Basral's novel "Sabai Sunwoo" is prominently displayed through the life of the main character, Sabai Rangkayo Sunwoo. This mimicry reflects the cultural clash between Korea and Indonesia and encompasses three types: behavioral mimicry, language and food mimicry, and lifestyle mimicry. The novel "Sabai Sunwoo" is suitable for use as literary teaching material in high school because it meets the standards of validity and applicability. By meeting these standards, the novel not only serves as a valid and reliable source but can also be effectively implemented in the educational curriculum to support the achievement of learning objectives.
