Abstract

City parks are public facilities as green open spaces (RTH) that have social, ecological, conservation and aesthetic functions as a means for recreational activities, sports, education, research and social activities. The purpose of this study is to determine and examine the function and existence of plant diversity in Sewaka Dharma City Park, Denpasar. Sewaka Dharma City Park has an area of ​​2.5 ha, located on Jalan Gatot Subroto, Dauh Puri Kaja Village, North Denpasar District, in one area of ​​the Denpasar City government center. The existence of a very strategic city park equipped with sports facilities, play facilities and social facilities, planted with various types of plants and trees that are neatly arranged, providing a beautiful, shady, comfortable and beautiful atmosphere.

Abstract

Padi berasosiasi dengan berbagai mikroba bersifat patogenik maupun non patogenik yang berasal dari golongan jamur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengisolasi dan mengidentifikasi jamur yang terdapat pada tanaman padi (Oryza sativa L.) yang dibudidayakan di kawasan Kecamatan Melaya, Kabupaten Jembrana, Bali. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan April 2023 sampai bulan September 2023. Sampel diambil pada bagian daun tanaman padi dan jamur yang terdapat di dalam jaringan daun diisolasi dengan metode pengenceran, dimurnikan dan diidentifikasi secara morfologi di Laboratorium Fakultas Pertanian dan Bisnis, Universitas Mahasaraswati, Denpasar. Identifikasi molekuler dilaksanakan di Lab Biosm Indonesia Jakarta. Hasil penelitian menemukan 4 isolat jamur yaitu isolat Black, Darkgreen, Softgreen, dan White. Hasil pembacaan urutan nukleotida pada BLAST menunjukkan bahwa isolat Black memiliki kemiripan sebesar 100% dengan jamur Curvularia pseudobrachyspora asal Thailand, isolat jamur Dark Green identik 100% dengan Aspergillus clavatus dari Malaysia. Isolat, isolat Soft Green memiliki kemiripan sebesar 99,97% dengan jamur Trichoderma reesei asal China, isolat White memiliki kemiripan sebesar 99,96% dengan jamur Schizophyllum commune asal India. Berdasarkan pohon filogeni dengan similaritas >97% maka dapat disimpulkan terdapat empat spesies jamur pada tanaman padi yaitu: Curvularia pseudobrachyspora, Aspergillus clavatus, Trichoderma reesei, dan Schizophyllum commune.

Abstract

Liquid organic fertilizer is a complete fertilizer because it contains macro and micro elements. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an influence or concentration of Bio GuSuan liquid organic fertilizer on the vegetative growth response of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.). This research is an experimental research. The independent variables is the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer, namely the concentration of 1%; 2%;3%;4%; 5%, and control (0%). Data analysis used statistical analysis with one way analysis of variance (ANOVA) test with a significance level of 5%. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded: (1) There is an effect of Bio GuSuan liquid organic fertilizer on the vegetative growth of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L), (2) Bio GuSuan liquid organic fertilizer with a concentration of 5% in treatment (T5) is the most optimal concentration for the vegetative growth of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L). Leaf area is 5.2 and the number of leaves is 3,800. Based on the F table value with a significance level of 5%, (the sum of inter =3 and the sum of inner =20), the H0 rejection limit is 3.10.

Abstract

The culture of a nation goes hand in hand with civilization in people's lives. Culture, customs and natural resources of a nation as local wisdom have the potential to be developed and preserved through ethnopedagogy. Ethnopedagogy is the inculcation of the local wisdom’s value of a nation or region that needs to be introduced by revitalizing it for the advancement of civilization. Ethnopedogogy research, as a medium for preserving local wisdom in biology learning, aimed to re-introducing the culture of the region where the learners come from as local wisdom to foster a sense of love and foster self-confidence in existing cultures. The implementation of local wisdom in biology learning is expected to be able to instil character education in order to create Pancasila students. Budaya suatu bangsa berjalan seiring dengan peradaban dalam kehidupam masyarakat. Budaya, adat istiadat dan kekayaan alam suatu bangsa sebagai kearifan lokal yang berpotensi dikembangkan dan dijaga kelestariannya melalui etnopedagogi. Etnopedagogi merupakan penanaman nilai kearifan lokal suatu bangsa atau daerah perlu diperkenalkan dengan melakukan revitalisasi untuk kemajuan peradaban. Penelitian etnopedogogi sebagai media pelestarian kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran biologi, memiliki tujuan mengenalkan kembali budaya daerah tempat peserta didik itu sebagai kearifan lokal untuk menumbuhkan rasa cinta dan menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri pada budaya yang telah ada. Implementasi kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran biologi diharapkan mampu menanamkan pendidikan karakter agar tercipta pelajar Pancasila.

Abstract

Limbah sayur dan buah banyak diproduksi dari aktivitas hidup masyarakat yang memerlukan pengelolaan melalui pengolahan menjadi lebih bermanfaat, diantaranya untuk eco enzym. Pengolahan limbah menjadi eco enzym berkontribusi terhadap penurunan pembuangan ke TPA. Kemanfaatan eco enzym yang sangat multiguna akan berdampak kepada kebutuhan yang terus meningkat, sehingga diperlukan beberapa metode untuk mempercepat produksi eco enzym dengan pertumbuhan mikroorganisme lebih banyak. Oleh karena itu dalam penelitian ini dilaksanakan melalui identifikasi morfologi dan populasi mikrorganisme berbahan sayur dan buah dengan perlakuan diblender, dicincang dan glondongan pada inkubasi selama 90 hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk identifikasi morfologi dan populasi mikrorganisme berbahan sayur dan buah dengan perlakuan diblender, dicincang dan glondongan. Pada penelitian ini didapa data kualitatif tentang identifikasi morfologi mikroorganisme dan data kuantitatif populasi mikroorganisme melalui pengamatan di laboratorium dengan metode uji angka lempeng (ALT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa morfologi mikroorganisme pada eco enzym berbahan dasar limbah sayur dan buah dengan perlakuan diblender (kode A) menunjukkan morfologi dari konsorsium bakteri dan fungi yang didominasi oleh fungi. Perlakuan bahan dicincang (kode B) dan glondongan (kode C) menunjukkan morfologi dari konsorsium bakteri. Jumlah populasi mikroorganisme dari bahan organik kode A, B dan C paling banyak pada bahan yang diblender (kode A) berturut-turut, yaitu: 13.3 x 106 CFU/mL; 4.3 x 106 CFU/mL dan 5.9 x 106 CFU/mL. Abstract

ABSTRACTEscherichia coli O157:H7 contamination of the meat used in preparing sate lilit, a favorite traditional food in Bali, Indonesia, has been a great concern for both local people and foreigners. Although C. burmanni has been included in its spice ingredients, active compounds that play a significant role in this pathogen have limitedly been elucidated. The main objectives of this research were to investigate the potency of this plant to control contaminants and elucidate possible compounds that prevent such contaminants by applying the disk diffusion method and LCMS analysis, respectively. The results showed that the leaf extract of this plant inhibited the in vitro growth of E. coli O157:7, with minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) and LC50 values of 4% and 2.59%, respectively. The LCMS analysis chromatogram showed that the plant extract's most active fraction produced nine peaks, representing nine possible active compounds. Among those, three compounds (Azoxystrobin, Stigmatellin Y, and 2-arachidonoyl glycerol) were suspected of contributing to control contamination, especially by E. coli O157:H7.

Abstract

Silangjana Village in Buleleng, Bali, has natural tourism potential, one of which is the Candi Kuning Waterfall. The potential of Silangjana Village has not been balanced by structured educational tourism, village economic institutions, and low digital literacy and human resource capacity. The Impact Student Executive Board (BEM Berdampak) program has the main objective of increasing the capacity and empowerment of two target partners, namely the Lila Dharma Kerti Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) and the Dharma Kerthi Honey Bee Farmer Group, through the implementation of the innovative Eco-Art-Tech model. This model integrates environmental sustainability, namely Eco which refers to modern Trigona bee cultivation, Art which targets the creative economy with a program to recycle plastic waste into souvenirs, and Tech for digital systems supporting tourist attractions. The program's implementation methods include outreach, technical training, mentoring, and evaluation. Initial results show a significant increase in the knowledge and skills of Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) partners regarding source-based plastic waste management, as well as their ability to create various souvenir products such as fans, wallets, and key chains, to support tourism promotion. The Bee Farmers Group also experienced an increase in knowledge regarding modern Trigona honey cultivation techniques, and even achieved an effective and hygienic honey harvest. This program supports the SDGs and community economic independence.

Abstract

The transition toward a circular economy has become essential in addressing environmental challenges and economic limitations in resource-based rural communities. Bentek Village, North Lombok Regency, faces persistent problems related to unmanaged bamboo waste generated from satay stick industries, which poses environmental risks and lacks economic value. This community service program aimed to accelerate the implementation of a waste-to-wealth–based circular economy by enhancing technical capacity, social entrepreneurship, and digital marketing skills. The target partners were the Kelompok Tani Hutan (KTH) “Lengkah Pangkok” and the youth organization Karang Taruna “Bareng-Bareng,” involving 40 participants. The program employed a participatory action research approach through stages of socialization, focus group discussions, training on bamboo waste processing into organic fertilizer and bio-briquettes, social entrepreneurship strengthening, infrastructure development, and continuous mentoring and evaluation. The results indicate an average competency improvement of 40.3% based on pre-test and post-test analyses, covering technical knowledge, social entrepreneurship, and digital marketing competencies. Qualitatively, the program enhanced environmental awareness, community participation, the establishment of two new waste-based business units, and reduced bamboo waste by approximately 60%. These findings demonstrate that a community-based circular economy approach is effective in promoting social empowerment, economic resilience, and environmental sustainability at the village level.

Abstract

AbstrakProgram Kosabangsa ini bertujuan untuk menekan perusakan hutan yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat melalui memberdayakan masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan dan pendampingan, montoring dan evaluasi, serta keberlanjutan program. Fokus kegiatan ada 2 yaitu beternak lebah madu Trigona sp. dan pemanfaatan limbah ternak menjadi pupuk organik untuk menekan perusakan hutan di Desa Tukadaya, Kecamatan Melaya, Kabupaten Jembrana, Bali. Mitra sasaran ada 2 yaitu: (1) Kelompok Budidaya Lemah Madu Sabda Wisesa berjumlah 20 orang dan (2) Kelompok Pupuk Organik Anglus Amertha Sari Berjumlah 20 orang.  Mitra berharap adanya program kegiatan pemberdayaan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam beternak lebah madu Trigona sp. dan pembuatan pupuk organik. Setelah pelatihan dan pendampingan berakhir masyarakat memiliki pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam beternak lebah madu Trigona dan pupuk organik untuk meningkatkan pendapatan, sehingga perusakan hutan dapat ditekan dan kelestarian hutan tetap terjaga. Kata kunci: pemberdayaan; lebah madu; pupuk organik; perusakan hutan; Tukadaya AbstractThe Kosabangsa program aims to reduce forest destruction by the community through community empowerment. The methods used include socialization, training and mentoring, monitoring and evaluation, and program sustainability. The focus of the activity is 2, namely raising Trigona sp. honey bees and utilizing livestock waste into organic fertilizer to reduce forest destruction in Tukadaya Village, Melaya District, Jembrana Regency, Bali. There are 2 target partners, namely: (1) the Sabda Wisesa Lemah Madu Cultivation Group consisting of 20 people and (2) the Anglus Amertha Sari Organic Fertilizer Group consisting of 20 people. Partners hope that there will be an empowerment program to increase community knowledge and skills in raising Trigona sp. honey bees and making organic fertilizer. Abstract

Riset pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pemasaran digital dan branding produk kopi di Kelompok Tani di Desa Belatungan, Tabanan, Bali, yang menghadapi kendala literasi digital dan akses pasar. Metode implementasi menggunakan  pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan tahapan sistematis: analisis kebutuhan menggunakan Diagram Fishbone (4M), pelatihan langsung, pendampingan intensif, dan evaluasi terukur. Intervensi termasuk pelatihan manajemen media sosial,  optimalisasi e-commerce, dan desain kemasan berkelanjutan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan dampak yang signifikan terhadap berbagai indikator kinerja: (1) Skor kompetensi digital peserta meningkat sebesar 62% (N-Gain 0,74/Tinggi); (2) Tingkat aktivasi akun toko online (e-commerce) melonjak dari 20% menjadi 80%; (3) Tingkat keterlibatan  media sosial tumbuh sebesar 21,4%; dan (4) Kualitas kemasan telah meningkat secara drastis (Skor 40% hingga 87%) melalui adopsi bahan ramah lingkungan. Transformasi ini secara langsung berkontribusi pada peningkatan pendapatan mitra rata-rata sebesar 124%. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini menegaskan bahwa model pemberdayaan berbasis masyarakat yang mengintegrasikan teknologi digital dan nilai-nilai keberlanjutan telah terbukti efektif dalam memperkuat daya saing.
