Abstract

This article discusses the application of smart clustering in the classification of dragon fruit in Banyuwangi Regency. Banyuwangi is the largest production center in Indonesia. However, some farmers experience problems in producing quality fresh fruit that meets market demand. Therefore, a convolutional neural network method is proposed for the dragon fruit classification system to differentiate rotten and fresh fruit. The dragon fruit sample uses 50 fruits which will be trained based on digital images. The results of applying smart clustering show that the best fruit search value achieved an epoch accuracy of 99.24% with 100 iterations. Meanwhile, iterations 50 and 70 get epoch accuracy of 98.88% respectively. The results of fruit classification are used as initial data in determining good (fresh) and bad (rotten) fruit quality. So, dragon fruit farmers can harvest earlier before the disease spreads to other fruit.

Abstract

This paper discusses electric-based vehicle control systems. Electric vehicle charging stations are only capable of charging based on slow, medium, fast, ultra fast charging and are not equipped with an overcharge system. So a control system is proposed for overcharge protection of battery current and voltage. The control system is modified with a half wave rectifier circuit to increase battery power efficiency. Method of modifying a half wave rectifier circuit with IC LM 7812 and capacitor. The results of the circuit modification show that the battery power is 7.96 w, 7.26 w, 6.60 w, 5.94 w, 5.24 w at varying input voltages of 220-200 Vac, and the efficiency is 0.87%-0.86% at an input voltage of 190-180 Vac. Meanwhile, the battery power is 7.96 w at an input voltage of 230 Vac and the efficiency is constant at 0.87%. The application of a control system can increase the efficiency of electricity-based vehicle batteries at a constant input voltage.

Abstract

Tulisan ini membahas tentang desain dan penerapan teknologi penguraian limbah organik pada kelompok budidaya maggot di Kecamatan Galagah, Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Penguraian limbah organik menggunakan maggot BSF, karena memiliki kandungan protein tinggi dan pengurai sampah hingga 80%. Penguraian limbah organik dilakukan dengan cara konvensional, namun hasil penguraian limbah masih berupa pupuk. Sehingga desain dan penerapan teknologi IoT diusulkan untuk memantau sistem budidaya selama 25 hari. Metode kegiatan pengabdian meliputi survei lapang, identifikasi limbah organik, perancangan budidaya maggot dengan ukuran ukuran 4m x 8m, perancangan sistem monitoring IoT dengan sensor DS18B20 dan ESP8266, kemudian evaluasi dan monitoring budidaya maggot. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa desain budidaya maggot dan sistem monitoring IoT suhu ruangan pada hari ke 6, 9, 15, 18, dan 24 dengan kondisi sebelum dan sesudah menghasilkan peningkatan produksi magot yang signifikan sebesar 2.1-2.7 kg. Inovasi teknologi merupakan alternatif pakan ikan untuk ketahanan pangan yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This paper describes the potential for attendance at Banyuwangi 1 State Vocational High School. The attendance system used is manual and does not optimal. The attendance based on face detector is proposed to determine the performance of employees and students. Face attendance is used to prevent employees from being absent from work and students not attending school. The results of the face detector show that the performance of employees and students can support the learning process in schools.

Abstract

This paper discusses the profile of the Sumber Manis Tourism destination. The destination profiles are used to promote tourism for local, domestic and foreign tourists. The manager of Alam Sumber Tourism is experiencing problems regarding the use of social media, and the potential for tourism to introduce its destinations. So that students and lecturers propose to collaborate with PT and Tourism Destinations in Banyuwangi in creating social media accounts and making profile books for promotion for visiting tourists. The method is carried out by survey, socialization and mentoring for 45 days. The results show that the impact of social media can increase visitors by 10% on Saturdays and Sundays and tourists understand tourism potential with profile books.

Abstract

The problem of waste and used oil waste is a serious challenge in environmental management. Waste that is not managed properly can pollute the environment, while used oil that is disposed of carelessly has the potential to pollute soil and water. This research aims to design and test a used oil-fueled garbage burner as a solution in reducing environmental impacts. The research method used is the experimental method, which includes designing, manufacturing, and testing the burner. Tests were conducted to measure combustion efficiency, fuel consumption, and exhaust emissions. Data were collected through direct observation and quantitative analysis using a gas analyzer to measure the levels of CO, CO₂, SO₂, NOx, and particulates produced. The results show that this device is able to burn waste more efficiently than conventional methods. The use of used oil as an alternative fuel also helps reduce oil waste that is harmful to the environment. However, although the burner significantly reduced the volume of waste, the exhaust gas analysis showed that improvements in the emission filtering system are still needed to minimize the impact of air pollution. In conclusion, the used oil-fueled waste burner can be an innovative solution in waste and waste oil management, but it needs further development to improve its environmentally friendly aspects. The recommendation of this research is the implementation of an exhaust gas filtration system as well as further testing to adapt the appliance to applicable environmental standards.

Abstract

Sterilization rooms are a concern for patients in hospitals. Inpatients affected by infectious diseases require a special action room. Therefore, the application of the sterilization room control and monitoring system with IoT is proposed to overcome TB patients. The study technique covers the design and testing of the control system and IoT monitoring system with time variations of 60, 90, and 120 minutes. The results of the application of the control system application show that the time variation causes a decrease in current from 0.8A to 0.5A with a test time of 60 minutes, but inversely proportional to the voltage with a test time of 90 and 120 minutes, which increases by 3.2V-3.9V. While the results of monitoring data in the inpatient room have varying lag times ranging from 0.13 seconds, 0.8 seconds and 0.7 seconds. the average value of time variation and data transmission affects the decrease in the bacteria of the hospital room cleaning process. the longer the irradiation time, the number of bacteria will decrease. Sterilizer control and monitoring system is used as a recommendation for infectious diseases in the inpatient room in the hospital.

Abstract

Penggunaan energi terbarukan menjadi sangat penting dalam mengurangi ketergantungan pada bahan bakar fosil yang semakin langka dan mahal. Penelitian ini mengkaji integrasi Internet of Things (IoT) pada sistem pembangkit listrik hybrid portabel yang menggabungkan teknologi Pico Hidro dan panel surya. Sistem ini dirancang untuk menyediakan pasokan listrik yang stabil dan efisien di daerah terpencil, khususnya untuk penerangan lahan pertanian. Melalui integrasi IoT, pemantauan hasil daya, tegangan, dan arus dari pembangkit dapat dilakukan secara real-time, sehingga meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan memperpanjang umur komponen. Pengujian dilakukan dengan mengukur daya yang dihasilkan oleh sistem hybrid dalam berbagai kondisi lingkungan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem pembangkit hybrid ini mampu menyediakan listrik yang cukup untuk kebutuhan penerangan lahan pertanian dan beroperasi secara optimal dengan bantuan IoT. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penggunaan energi terbarukan melalui penerapan teknologi hybrid portabel, menawarkan solusi berkelanjutan bagi pertanian di Kabupaten Probolinggo

Abstract

Penyandang Disabilitas (ODD) memiliki risiko kemiskinan yang tinggi di Indonesia dan dianggap tidak produktif. Menurut data Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), pada tahun 2019-2020, jumlah penyandang disabilitas di Indonesia mencapai lebih dari 28 juta orang. Tangan palsu telah menjadi solusi untuk membantu individu penyandang disabilitas meningkatkan kualitas hidupnya. Pemrosesan sinyal EEG untuk kontrol prostetik masih tergolong baru, dan diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk mengoptimalkan kinerja algoritma. diusulkan menggunakan desain algoritma Autonomous Deep Learning (ADL). Struktur jaringan dapat dibangun dari awal tanpa adanya pengaturan manual, mengingat kompleksitas jaringan saraf yang sering mengalami overfitting, model tidak efektif dalam klasifikasi. Hasil percobaan dari 6 subjek dengan rata-rata 96% dengan error 10% pada subjek mandiri

Abstract

The main challenge faced by small-scale fishermen in Probolinggo is the deterioration of fish catches due to limited cooling systems. This study developed a portable cooling box powered by a hybrid solar–wind energy system integrated with GPS–IoT. The system was designed using a 100 Wp solar panel, a 450 W wind turbine, a 100 Ah battery, a 3000 W inverter, and temperature sensors with IoT communication modules for real-time monitoring. Experiments were conducted for 12 hours under three operating modes: solar, wind only, and hybrid. The results show the hybrid mode maintained the cooling box temperature below 8 °C for more than 12 hours, while the solar-only and wind-only modes lasted only 4–7 hours. The GPS–IoT integration enabled simultaneous monitoring of vessel location and energy conditions. Therefore, the proposed system proved to be more reliable in preserving fish quality while enhancing efficiency and safety of small-scale fishermen through renewable energy.
