Abstract

This article will discuss the impact of technological advances on the insurance industry. Digital insurance is a type of insurance that can be purchased online, which makes it easier to obtain insurance without using an intermediary. All previously traditional insurance purchasing processes can now be completed online at any time and from any location as long as you have an internet connection. Nowadays, various digital insurance options are also accessible, including online life insurance offered by insurance companies, travel insurance, car insurance, health insurance, and accident insurance. Apart from being purchased online, buyers will receive their insurance policy in digital format, which is usually called an electronic policy. Usually, online insurance policies. The claim procedure can also be completed online. When compared to traditional insurance promoted by marketers, digital insurance is generally not much different. For those of you who want to start trying to get protection, digital insurance offers a number of benefits that are worth considering.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the independent variables, namely premium income, investment returns and claims on the dependent variable, namely profits at PT Insurance Multi Artha Guna Tbk (AMAG). This study uses a quantitative methods and the data used are secondary data in the form of annual financial reports starting from 2012-2021 (last 10 years). This study uses the Eviews 10 data processing application with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that premium income partially has a negative and insignificant effect on profits at PT Insurance Multi Artha Guna Tbk (AMAG), investment returns partially have a positive and significant effect on profits at PT Insurance Multi Artha Guna Tbk (AMAG) and claims in general partial negative and insignificant effect on profit at PT Insurance Multi Artha Guna Tbk (AMAG). Premium income, investment returns and claims simultaneously have a significant effect on profits at PT Insurance Multi Artha Guna Tbk (AMAG). Based on the coefficient of determination, profits at PT Insurance Multi Artha Guna Tbk (AMAG) is influenced by premium income, investment returns and claims of 75,8195% and the remaining 24,1805% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze economic growth in Southeast Asian Muslim countries from an Islamic economic perspective (case studies of Indonesia and Malaysia). This type of research is causal associative. The population for this study is Indonesia and Malaysia. The population in this study is all data on the development of foreign investment, exports, inflation and exchange rates and GDP data in Indonesia and Malaysia in 2006-2021. so that the number of samples used is 32 sample data. Methods of data analysis using multiple linear regression. The results showed that exports and inflation had a partial effect on profit growth, while foreign investment and exchange rates had no effect on economic growth in Indonesia and Malaysia. Foreign Investment, Exports, inflation and exchange rates simultaneously influence Economic Growth in Indonesia and Malaysia from an Islamic perspective. From the analysis of the Islamic economic perspective, it can be concluded that in order to realize economic growth for the community, the objectives and facilities used must be in accordance with sharia values and principles based on the Al Quran and Sunnah. Islamic expenditure theory uses principles taken from Al-Qawaid Al-Fiqhiyyah in order to avoid potential spending inefficiencies, as well as Islamic consumption norms.
