Abstract

Elektronika daya adalah aplikasi teknologi elektronika padat yang berfungsi untuk mengatur dan mengubah energi listrik, memungkinkan konversi dari satu bentuk tenaga listrik ke bentuk lainnya. Contoh rangkaian yang umum digunakan dalam elektronika daya meliputi konverter DC-DC atau DC Chopper, yang berperan sebagai pengatur tegangan DC dengan kemampuan menurunkan atau menaikkan tegangan, dan inverter, yang mengubah tegangan DC menjadi tegangan AC. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah konverter yang mampu menghasilkan tegangan keluaran yang lebih rendah atau lebih tinggi daripada tegangan masukan. Pengujian dilakukan melalui simulasi menggunakan perangkat lunak SIMULINK/MATLAB, yang menghasilkan data tegangan dan arus keluaran. Pengujian dilakukan dalam dua mode, yaitu open loop dan close loop. Pada konverter open loop, pengaturan dilakukan dengan mengubah nilai duty cycle dari PWM, sementara pada konverter close loop, pengaturan dilakukan melalui parameter Pi. Hasil perancangan konverter open loop menunjukkan operasi dengan tegangan masukan 12V, duty cycle 5% - 60% pada frekuensi 50 KHz. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan tegangan keluaran minimal sebesar 0.27 V pada duty cycle 5% dan maksimal sebesar 16.9V pada duty cycle 60%. Error tertinggi adalah 2.42V pada data ke-12. Sedangkan pada pengujian konverter close loop, tegangan masukan tetap konstan pada 12V dengan nilai set point antara 2V - 20 V. Dengan konfigurasi parameter Pi yang tetap, tegangan keluaran yang optimal diperoleh pada set point 20V dengan nilai teggangan keluaran 19.81V.

Abstract

The technology of components and electronic hardware has evolved to be able to produce a DC/DC current system for power, which is achieved by converting the DC power to higher or lower voltage. This DC voltage variable is commonly called the DC-DC Converter. This final task aims to find out the performance of the DC-DC Sepic Converter series design. The simulated testing of the system using SIMULINK/MATLAB software is subsequently obtained from the data analysis of the theoretical output voltage data and the monitoring of measurements that can be analyzed to determine the error level as well as the level of efficiency of the design of the sepic converter. The test was conducted by setting a constant input voltage of 12 V, a frequency of 50 kHz, with a duty cycle variation of 5% to 65% and a given load of 20 Ω. The result of the design of the Sepic Converter at the time of open loop mode with the value of duty Cycle of 5% produces a minimum voltage that is 0,38 V. Subsequently, when given the duty cicle value of 65%, the maximum voltage is 21,22 V error with the highest error rate of 1 V obtained at the 13th data trial. The average error value is 0,642 V and the standard deviation value is 0,453 V, the greatest efficiency point is 78,50% at the moment of the cycle duty value of 65. While the results of the testing of the Set of Sepic Konverters at the close loop mode, the input tension is given constantly 12 V. The configuration for the parameter value of PI is also constant, namely at the set point of 22,22 V, it is 21,97 V with an error difference 0,25 V.

Abstract

Along with increasing progress in the industrial world in Indonesia, the need for equipment used in the production of goods has also increased. One of the important equipment in an industry is a driving tool. The electric motor is a driving tool that has a big influence on the goods production system. Therefore, this paper discusses speed regulation of electric motors, especially 3-phase induction motors using Carrier Based Pulse Width Modulation (CBPWM) with Fuzzy Logic control which was carried out in Mataram. The speed response of the system will be improved with Fuzzy Logic Control (FLC). The results of the observations are compared with a system controlled by a PID controller. Simulation results with Simulink show that the Fuzzy Logic controller based on Carrier Based Pulse Width Modulation Control provides a better response than the PID controller. This is shown when there is an overshoot of 0%, a rise time of 0.5 seconds and a setting time of 1.5 seconds, whereas on the PID controller when there is an overshoot of 0.4%, a rise time of 0.7 seconds, and a setting time of 2.5 seconds, for a motor reference speed of 2 rad/second and load torque 0, 25, 50, 75, 100, 125, 150, 200 Nm. From the simulation results, it is proven that using a Fuzzy Logic controller based on Carrier Based Pulse Width Modulation Control, the speed response of a three-phase induction motor is better than using a PID controller.

Abstract

Technological developments and advances have caused many electrical and electronic devices to almost all use DC voltage sources whose voltage can be adjusted. So a tool is needed to reduce the DC voltage to an adjusted voltage, namely a buck converter. A buck converter is a device that can reduce DC voltage to a lower voltage. This research aims to design an open and close loop buck converter circuit, determine the level of efficiency and the effect of the duty cycle on the output voltage and the error difference value. Investigation and use of MATLAB/SIMULINK software. In this research, the buck converter duty cycle was changed from 5% - 99% in the open loop and the input voltage was 12 volts - 24 volts in the closed loop which worked at a frequency of 50kHz. The output voltage value that approaches 5 volts is a duty cycle of 40% with the voltage obtained being V measured 5.067 volts, V calculated 4.8 volts with an error difference of 0.267 in the open loop circuit and in the closed loop the average difference in output voltage error is obtained from The setting point voltage is 5 volts, namely 1.102.

Abstract

Many people do not understand how to use household electricity safely and economically. The above problems are also experienced by residents in Cemare Hamlet, Lembar Selatan Village, Lembar District, Lombok Barat Regency. To overcome this problem, the solution offered to the residents of Cemare Hamlet is to carry out counselling regarding this matter. This counseling will enable the residents of Cemare Hamlet to understand how to use household electricity safely and economically so that it can support the safety and efficiency of sustainable use of household electricity. On the day agreed between the counselling team and the residents of the hamlet, this counselling was carried out at the house of one of the residents of the hamlet. After most of the residents had attended, the event finally began. The counseling began with remarks from the team of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Mataram University, followed by counselling and questions and answers regarding the counselling material. Next, a written and verbal evaluation was carried out (because there were residents who were still illiterate) by the counselling team to the hamlet residents. There are 10 questions given, each worth 10 related to the counseling material that was given previously. The results obtained were that 73.33% of participants answered the questions given with a score of fair to very good, while 26.66% of participants answered the questions given with a score of very poor to poor. These results show that this counselling activity has provided knowledge to residents of Cemare Hamlet regarding the safe and economical use of household electricity.

Abstract

Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) is a fundamental aspect to ensure the security and continuity of academic activities, especially in technical laboratory environments that are highly prone to fire hazards. The Electrical Engineering Laboratory of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Mataram, is identified as a high-risk area due to the use of high-voltage electricity, electronic devices, and flammable materials. According to the fire triangle theory comprising fuel, heat, and oxygen fires can be prevented by eliminating one of these elements. A primary preventive effort in this context involves the use of fire extinguishers (APAR) and adequate training on their proper use. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of APAR training and awareness campaigns among active laboratory students. The training method applied an andragogical approach with the PASS technique (Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep), accompanied by pre- and post-tests, simulated fire suppression, and participatory observation. Results showed a significant improvement in students’ understanding, with the average score increasing from 18.75% to 88.38% and the standard deviation decreasing from 9.22 to 6.16, indicating more uniform comprehension among participants. A paired t-test revealed a highly significant difference (p < 0.0001), and one-way ANOVA supported that the training had a measurable effect on all evaluated aspects. Beyond cognitive gains, students also demonstrated positive affective and psychomotor responses through active participation and practical suggestions, such as improving extinguisher placement and adding usage instructions. These findings indicate that the APAR training program not only enhances technical knowledge but also cultivates a culture of safety within the academic environment. It is recommended that such training be institutionalized as part of the laboratory's integrated OSH management system

Abstract

Untuk mengatasi masalah yang dihadapi oleh Kelompok Nelayan ‘Obor Kehidupan' di Dusun Cemare, Desa Lembar Selatan, Kecamatan Lembar, Kabupaten Lombok Barat terkait penggunaan baterai (accu) sebagai sumber tenaga listrik yang mensuplai lampu penerangan perahu untuk menerangi perahu dan aktivitas melaut di malam hari, solusi yang ditawarkan adalah dengan menggunakan catu daya listrik sel surya (Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya skala kecil). Penggunaan catu daya listrik sel surya memiliki kelebihan dibanding penggunaan baterai (accu) sebagai sumber tenaga listrik. Penggunaan catu daya listrik sel surya hanya memerlukan sinar matahari untuk proses pengisian sehingga tidak perlu dicabut dari instalasi lampu penerangan perahu nelayan. Tidak adanya proses mencabut, memindahkan dan memasang yang dilakukan berulang kali akan menghasilkan dua keuntungan bagi kelompok nelayan tersebut. Pertama, tidak menambah beban kerja sehingga menguntungkan secara teknis bagi kelompok nelayan. Kedua, tidak menyebabkan baterai yang ada di dalam catu daya listrik sel surya cepat rusak sehingga menguntungkan secara ekonomis bagi kelompok nelayan tersebut. Tim pelaksana pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang beranggotakan staf pengajar dan mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Elektro Fakultas Teknik Universitas Mataram telah melaksanakan kegiatan berupa pembelian alat dan bahan yang diperlukan, perakitan dan penyuluhan cara penggunaan catu daya listrik sel surya kepada pengurus dan anggota Kelompok Nelayan ‘Obor Kehidupan' di Dusun Cemare. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi diperoleh hasil bahwa pengurus dan anggota kelompok nelayan tersebut telah dapat menggunakan catu daya listrik sel surya dengan baik. Selain itu juga diperoleh hasil berupa keuntungan teknis dan ekonomis bagi aktivitas nelayan dari Kelompok Nelayan ‘Obor Kehidupan' di malam hari.

Abstract

Pemahaman masyarakat tentang Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) Kelistrikan di Desa Sandik, Kecamatan Batulayar, masih tergolong rendah. Masyarakat cenderung mengabaikan potensi bahaya dari instalasi listrik yang tidak aman, seperti risiko kebakaran, sengatan listrik, dan ledakan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, dilakukan sosialisasi dan edukasi mengenai K3 Kelistrikan kepada masyarakat setempat. Kegiatan ini meliputi pengenalan potensi bahaya, cara pengecekan dan pemeliharaan instalasi listrik, serta pelatihan pemasangan instalasi listrik yang sesuai dengan standar Persyaratan Umum Instalasi Listrik (PUIL) 2011. Hasil monitoring dan evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pemahaman dan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap keselamatan kelistrikan setelah dilakukan edukasi. Dari 30 responden yang terlibat, 70% menyatakan setuju atau sangat setuju bahwa edukasi tersebut penting dan perlu ditingkatkan. Namun, masih terdapat 13,33% responden yang belum sepenuhnya memahami pentingnya keselamatan kelistrikan, sehingga diperlukan upaya edukasi yang lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan. Kegiatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat, namun pendampingan berkelanjutan diperlukan untuk memastikan keselamatan kelistrikan di Desa Sandik tetap terjaga.

Abstract

In the rapidly developing digital era, technical skills in information and communication technology are very important for Vocational High School (SMK) students, especially those who are doing internships. Mastery of computer hardware, such as installation and maintenance, is a vital skill to compete in the world of work. Intensive training in computer hardware installation during internships aims to improve the competence of vocational high school students, making them better prepared to face industry demands.The training methods used include planning based on needs analysis, orientation, balanced implementation between theory and practice, and continuous evaluation. This training succeeded in improving students' practical and theoretical skills, with 85% of participants being able to complete installation tasks well. In addition, the average student score in the theory exam increased from 60% to 85%. As many as 80% of participants obtained competency certificates, which increased their competitiveness in the job market.In conclusion, this training is effective in improving the technical competence of vocational high school students in computer hardware installation, making them better prepared to enter the world of work.

Abstract

Economic development in the dumpling chips business requires cooperation from the community and related agencies. One of the efforts made by the community service team is training in pangsit chip production. This is necessary because small businesses in Lendang Nangka Village face various challenges in developing their businesses. Production is still carried out traditionally, which has an impact on the lack of uniformity in product quality. One of the main challenges is the limited knowledge and skills needed to produce quality and consistent products. The purpose of Community Service is to strengthen small entrepreneurs in Lendang Nangka Village by improving production skills so that they can make good quality and consistent products. The activity method through training carried out by the Community Service Team and the Cooperatives and SMEs Service, covers aspects of improving technical skills in the production process. Through the production process, training is provided on how to enhance the quality of the product through the use of better techniques and raw materials. The results of community service give an understanding and skills related to pangsit chips raw materials and how to print, fry, dry, and package products. This can be used as a guideline to ensure that the pangsit chips produced are of good quality and can be stored properly. By overcoming existing challenges and utilizing existing opportunities, this program is expected to have a positive impact on regional economic development. Some things related to packaging are new knowledge for pangsit chip artisans. Pangsit chips artisans are interested in using packaging other than plastic to maintain product quality and use packaging for various sizes of their products.
