Abstract

Freshwater sponges are animals from the Porifera phylum that live in freshwater. The sponge used is Oncosclera asiatica was taken from Kali Porong, East Java. Seventeen isolates of bacteria have been obtained from isolation. Antibacterial potential testing was performed by paper disc inhibition assay using Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus as pathogenic bacteria and amoxicillin as a positive control. The antibacterial activity test showed that four isolates have the potential activity. The isolates with the highest inhibition zones were identified using a 16S rRNA.The results of BLAST showed isolate number 2 was Pseudomonas moraviensis with 99.51% similarity. The phylogenetic tree analysis was build using the MEGA X program. The results of the phylogenetic tree analysis showed that P.moraviensis had a bootstrap value of 100% with a  genetic distance value of 0.001. P. moraviensis isolates screened for the presence of Non-Ribosomal Peptide Synthetase (NRPS) gene by A2gamF and A3gamR primers. The amplification result from NRPS gene showed positive meaning that P.moraviensis genome contained NRPS gene.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of the EMIS-based SIMDIK program at Madrasah Aliyah Purwakarta, which faces challenges such as limited budgets, human resources, infrastructure, and internet network issues in remote areas. The study aims to evaluate the implementation of SIMDIK in improving the performance of madrasahs, covering planning, organization, implementation, supervision, identification of problems, solutions, and performance outcomes. The qualitative research method, with observations, interviews, and documentation, is based on G.R. Terry’s POAC theory and Edison’s performance theory. The findings show: (1) planning is by the Ministry of Religion regulations; (2) organization involves the designation of a SIMDIK operator, though limited to one person and assisted by other non-permanent personnel; (3) implementation is directed; (4) supervision involves the head of the madrasah, committee, and foundation; (5) main challenges include human resources, infrastructure, funding, and stakeholder support; (6) proposed solutions are a special budget request and honorarium for managers; (7) the use of EMIS-based SIMDIK has contributed to improving madrasah performance. Implications: This study recommends increasing the special budget and recognition systems for SIMDIK managers to improve program effectiveness. Greater stakeholder support is also expected to accelerate progress in madrasah infrastructure and human resource capacity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of other comprehensive income, company complexity and public accounting firm size on external audit fees for companies listed on the Indonesia Sharia Stock Index 2020 - 2023. The sample used was 23 companies listed on the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index consistently from 2020 to 2023. The method used is a quantitative method using secondary data processed with the help of the EView 12 application. The results of the partial test analysis show that other comprehensive income and company complexity have no significant effect on external audit fees. Meanwhile, public accounting firm size has a significant positive effect on external audit fees due to the better audit quality of Big Four public accounting firm. In addition, there is an effect of other comprehensive income, company complexity and public accounting firm size simultaneously on external audit fees. Although public accounting firm size contributes individually, the combination of the three variables has a significant influence on the determination of external audit fees that must be paid by the company.

Abstract

This community service activity was conducted as an effort to provide assistance to students of MTs Nurul Qolbi in improving their learning motivation through inspirational learning mentorship. The background of this activity is the still low level of students’ learning motivation, which has an impact on the lack of clarity in their educational goals. The objective of this community service activity is to increase students’ learning motivation. The implementation method used a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. The results of the activity indicate that some students did not yet have strong learning motivation and did not fully understand the importance of education for their future. Through inspirational learning mentorship activities, students began to express their interests, learning obstacles, and expectations, resulting in a higher level of learning motivation compared to before.

Abstract

This research aims to examine how the planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of the Tatanén di Balé Atikan program were carried out in elementary schools to foster students’ Islamic character. This research used a qualitative approach using a phenomenological research method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The research findings indicated that the implementation of the Tatanén di Balé Atikan (TdBA) program at SDN Ciwangi instilled Islamic moral values in students through concrete habituation practices, including self-discipline, cooperation, care for nature, obedience in worship, and love for the homeland. This program was systematically planned by involving the three centers of education, namely school, family, and community, organized through working groups and activity schedules, and implemented in an integrated manner within intracurricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular programs and activities using a Sundanese local wisdom approach. Although internal supervision functioned well, external supervision had not yet been implemented optimally, indicating the need for stronger, continuous monitoring to ensure that the benefits of TdBA are more effectively shaped to students’ Islamic character

Abstract

The growing global population demands increased food productivity, which can be achieved using fertilizers. However, inorganic fertilizers harm the environment and leave chemical residues, making organic and biofertilizers a sustainable alternative. This initiative aims to enhance skills and inclusive learning for students with special needs while increasing economic and educational value, particularly in biofertilizer production at SLB-C Karya Bhakti, Purworejo. Biofertilizers contain beneficial microorganisms that support soil fertility and plant growth by breaking down nutrients, boosting disease resistance, and enhancing plant development. Unlike chemical fertilizers, biofertilizers are environmentally friendly and leave no harmful residues. They are produced using growth media like husks and fermented through solid-state or submerged fermentation methods. Proper packaging, such as vacuum sealing or PET-nylon-PP materials, is essential to maintain microbial viability and quality. At SLB-C Karya Bhakti, biofertilizers support plant growth in the school garden, actively involving students with special needs. Their use enhances food literacy, influences dietary choices, and improves economic conditions within the school. Additionally, this initiative fosters health and social development among students with disabilities, empowering them with valuable agricultural skills for a more inclusive and sustainable future.
