Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of work professionalism and work enthusiasm on the performance of Puskesmas Seberang Padang employees. Data collection methods are field research (Field Research) and library research (Library Research. Quantitative data type and data sources are primary data and secondary data. The population of this research is all employees of the Puskesmas across Padang. Sampling is done using a technique (non-probability). The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis and coefficient of determination. Meanwhile, to test the hypothesis, the t test and f test are used. The results of the research are: (1) Work professionalism has a positive significant effect on the performance of the employees of the Puskesmas Seberang Padang. (2) Work Morale has a significant positive effect on employee performance in Puskesmas Seberang Padang. (3) Work professionalism and work enthusiasm have a significant positive effect together on employee performance in Puskesmas Seberang Padang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh board size,board composition,ukuran perusahaan dan profitabilitas terhadap pengungkapan risiko keuangan studi empiris pada perusahaan otomotif yang terdaftar di BEI tahun 2015-2019. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data kuantitatif yang bersumber dari laporan keuangan perusahaan. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini merupakan data sekunder. Populasi dalam penelitian ini merupakan perusahaan otomotif di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada periode 2015 sampai 2019 sebanyak 15 perusahaan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sesuai kriteria yang sudah ditentukan, berdasarkan kriteria yang sudah ditentukan diperoleh sampel sebanyak 6 perusahaan. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji analisis linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial board size berpengaruh signifikan terhadap terhadap pengungkapan risiko keuangan,board composition tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengungkapan risiko keuangan, ukuran perusahaan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengungkapan risiko keuangan, profitabilitas berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengungkapan risiko keuangan, dan board size,board composition,ukuran perusahaan serta profitabilitas berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengungkapan risiko keuangan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of work shifts and age to job fatigue in production employees at PT X Batam City in 2023. The type of research used is quantitative. The population of this study were employees of the production unit (BU3) in line 6 as many as 200 respondents. The research instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. The sampling technique used in this study was simple random sampling with 133 respondents and statistical analysis using the chi square test. The results showed that there was a relationship between work shift and fatigue (p value = 0.000 < α = 0.05) and no relationship between age and fatigue (p value = 0.286 > α = 0.05). It is concluded that there is a significant relationship between work shift and job fatigue and no significant relationship between age and job fatigue. It is suggested that PT X Batam City pay more attention to employees such as providing food & beverage facilities, socializing 5 - 10 minutes warm-up activities to employees.

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui motivasi tata letak kantor, insentif dan motivasi kerja untuk meningkatkan pekerjaan karyawan di kantor DPRD Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah menggunakan metode kuantitatif asosiatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan random sampling dengan sampel 80 staf DPRD Kab. Pasaman Barat. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket dan angket. Sebelum digunakan sebagai alat pengumpulan data penelitian, kuesioner terlebih dahulu diuji untuk mengukur tingkat validitas dan reliabilitas kuesioner. Validitas adalah ukuran yang menunjukkan tingkat validitas instrumen atau akurasi dan akurasi instrumen dalam mengukur apa yang ingin Anda peroleh. Uji validitas menggunakan Koreksi Total Barang yang Dikoreksi. Uji reliabilitas menggunakan rumus Cronbach's Alpha. Data yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur.

Abstract

Background. Endurance plays a crucial role in determining an athlete’s performance, especially in high-intensity sports such as volleyball, which requires repeated bursts of activity, rapid directional changes, and sustained physical effort. VO2max, an indicator of aerobic capacity, is a key factor influencing endurance levels. However, many volleyball clubs lack structured monitoring and training programs to optimize VO2max development.Objectives. This study aims to analyze the VO2max endurance levels of female volleyball athletes from the Nomen Nascio and Brojomusti clubs in Pontianak.Methods. A quantitative research approach was employed, utilizing a survey method with Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Test Level 1 as the primary instrument for measuring VO2max. The study involved 55 female volleyball athletes, consisting of 40 athletes from Nomen Nascio and 15 from Brojomusti. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to interpret the VO2max levels among participants.Results. The results indicated that 57.5% of Nomen Nascio athletes fell into the poor category, while only 10% were classified as good. In contrast, the Brojomusti club exhibited better endurance levels, with 40% categorized as good and 6.7% as excellent. The findings emphasize the need for targeted endurance training programs to improve VO2max, particularly for clubs with lower endurance levels.Conclusion. Coaches and sports practitioners can utilize these insights to design structured, sport-specific training regimens that enhance overall athletic performance and long-term player development. This study contributes to the field of sports science by providing empirical evidence on the endurance levels of female volleyball athletes and highlighting the disparities in VO2max between different clubs.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase students' knowledge, legal awareness, and critical thinking skills so they can avoid deviant behavior regarding the dangers of drugs and online gambling. It was implemented through interactive lectures, discussions, educational media screenings, and a question-and-answer session. The mentoring activity demonstrated a positive response from participants, not only understanding the health dangers of drugs but also recognizing the strict legal implications. Similarly, regarding online gambling, students understood that this activity is a criminal offense that can lead to financial loss and addiction.

Abstract

Bioinformatics has developed into an application tool for basic and applied research in the biomedical and biotechnology field. Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) is a common technique in the molecular area that has always involved bioinformatics science. PCR cloning techniques such as TA cloning and PCR-mediated cloning exhibit complex processes with low success rates. One easy, effective, and practical solution is to use a mega-primer with the Overlap Extension PCR Cloning (OEPC) technique. The success of PCR cloning using the mega-primer design in the OEPC technique is strongly influenced by the characteristics of the mega-primer used. Knowledge of mega-primer characteristics is one of the important factors in the success of PCR cloning. The design process for the mega-primer str promoter was characterized based on the principle of a genetic algorithm using the web-based bioinformatics tools such as ClustalW, NetPrimer, and BLAST. The success of the mega-primer construction in producing recombinant pSB1C3 vector has been confirmed by the sequencing method and the function of the reporting protein (AmilCP). DNA analysis shows a 100 % homologous sequence on the str promoter, while  E. coli colonies successfully express the purplish-blue color. Mega-primer characters can save costs and time of the research by maintaining the primer parameters that provide optimal values and increase the success value of PCR cloning via bioinformatics software. Hence, implications on biological problems, especially using DNA and amino acid sequences, could solve rapidly.
