Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce learning devices and LKS based on a realistic, valid and effective approach to realistic mathematics education. This learning tool is expected to be able to improve student learning activities and outcomes. This type of research is development research using a 4-D model consisting of 4 stages, namely 1) defining, 2) designing (design), 3) developing, and 4) disseminating (disseminate). The contextual mathematics learning tools developed are Student Worksheets (LKS) and Learning Implementation Plans (RPP). Validation is done by experts in mathematics education, basic education and language. The practicality of learning devices is investigated by observing the implementation of learning, filling the practical questionnaire by students, and conducting interviews with students and teachers. To see its effectiveness is done by observing the activities and student learning outcomes. The collected data was analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the learning tools of the realistic mathematics education approach (PMR) produced were valid in terms of their constructs and contents for Class VII of Merangin 14 Middle School. Contextual mathematics learning tools can be said to be practical in terms of the implementation of learning and effective on the activities and learning outcomes of students for class VII. Learning tools for realistic mathematics education approaches (PMR), have been tested and implemented. Based on the results of the trial and implementation it can be said that the learning tools approach to realistic mathematics education (PMR) are valid, practical and effective

Abstract

This research is based on the understanding of mathematical concepts using cooperative model of the power of two type based on problem based learning (pbl) better than conventional learning. This research uses quantitative approach with experiment method. The population in this study is the students of class VIII SMP Negeri 11 Merangin which amounted to 90 people consisting of 3 classes. Sampling technique using simple random sampling technique. The selected sample is class IX A as experiment class and class IX C as control class. Technique of data collecting through comprehension test of mathematical concept in the form of essay matter with the number of five items on the subject of kesebangunan. The data analysis technique used to test the hypothesis is t-test, with its calculation assisted by SPSS program. From the analysis of the final test data in the experimental class using the cooperative learning model of the power of two type based on problem based learning, it is obtained on average 81.77 while the control class using conventional learning obtained an average of 67.77. Hypothesis test results obtained t count> ttable or 5.634> 1.671 then H1 accepted and H0 rejected. The conclusion of this research is the understanding of mathematical concepts using cooperative model of the power of two type based on problem based learning better than conventional learning on the material kesebangunan class students IX SMP Negeri 11 Merangin lesson year 2017/2018.

Abstract

Purpose of this study is to describe an increase in mathematics learning outcomes in the three dimensional space material using the Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI) Model in class X SMA N 3 Merangin Academic Year 2016/2017. This research is a classroom action research which consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection carried out in SMA N 3 Merangin with the research subjects being all class XB SMA N 3 Merangin 2016/2017 Academic Year totaling 28 people. The study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of III meetings. Data was collected using observation and evaluation, observations in the form of student activity sheets, for evaluation of learning outcomes tests in the form of essay test questions. Data analysis techniques use simple statistics. The results of the study indicate that the Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI) Learning Model can improve student learning outcomes and the average value of students 64.63 in the first cycle to 88.01 in the second cycle. Increased student mastery learning in the first cycle is 14 students or 46.7% increased in the second cycle to 26 students or 86.7%. Thus the completeness of student learning outcomes has reached more than ≥ 70.00. Based on the results of this study it is expected that teachers can be used to add models in learning so as to improve the ability of students in learning.

Abstract

This research is motivated by students' low mathematical communication skills. Students have difficulty in solving questions related to mathematical communication. One reason is learning that only uses conventional learning models, so students' creativity and activity are still less visible. The purpose of this study was to find out and describe mathematical communication skills taught by problem based learning learning methods better than those taught with conventional learning models with expository methods. This type of research is a Quantitative Approach with quasi experimental methods. The sample of the study amounted to 67 students, 33 students in the experimental class and 34 students in the control class obtained by the Simple Random Sampling technique. The technique of collecting data through a test of mathematical communication skills in the form of a description sheet (Essay) consisting of 8 questions. The data analysis technique uses the t-test. The results revealed that the results of the average experimental class score were higher than the results of the average score of the mathematical communication skills of the control class students. Thus the problem based learning learning method influences students' mathematical communication skills ( . The conclusion of this study is that mathematical communication skills of students who use problem based learning learning methods are better than students' mathematical communication skills using conventional learning, meaning learning methods of problem based learning provide an influence on mathematical communication skills.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar matematika pada materi bangun  ruang sisi datar dengan menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Missouri Mathematic Project pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 14 Merangin Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang pelaksanaannya terdiri dari empat tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi yang dilaksanakan di SMP N 14 Merangin dengan subyek penelitian adalah semua siswa kelas VIII D  SMP N 14 Merangin Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019 yang berjumlah 28 orang. Penelitian dilakukan II siklus, Setiap siklus terdiri dari III pertemuan. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan observasi dan evaluasi, observasi berupa lembar aktifitas siswa, untuk evaluasi tes hasil belajar berupa soal tes bentuk essay. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik sederhana. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Model Pembelajaran Missouri Mathematic Project dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan nilai rata-rata siswa 68,83 pada siklus I menjadi 88,36 pada siklus II. Peningkatan ketuntasan belajar siswa pada siklus I yaitu 14 orang siswa atau 50% meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 26 orang siswa atau 88,7%. Dengan demikian ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa telah mencapai lebih dari  ≥ 70,00. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan guru untuk menambah model-model dalam pembelajaran sehingga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Low carbon steel can be welded with all types of welds. One of the welding techniques is SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), which has its own advantages, under which the large current can be varied as the heat source used, easy to use in different welding positions and penetration and width of melting electrodes can be adjusted. This study uses an SMAW welding machine with a sliding adaptive two-axis system that varies the current strength and welding speed according to the characteristics of the weld, by visual observation, tensile strength and microstructure on the weld. The parameters were varied from the strength of the 90 A, 100 A and 120 A currents and the welding speed controlled by the Arduino Uno with the rotation of the stepper motor as a driver. The material used a low-carbon steel, using V camp with a vertical angle of 600. The results of the study show that the highest tensile strength of 505.31 Mpa and the lowest value of 224.20 Mpa. The micro-weld structure was determined by many factors, including heat input, current, welding speed and cooling speed. In this study, the HAZ area has a larger grain structure than the base metal and the weld metal.keywords Current, Welding Speed, SMAW, Sliding Adaptive Two.

Abstract

Friction welding is a type of solid state welding with high quality results from two components that are similar or different so that it attracts a lot of attention. With phenomena that occur during welding, the finite element method becomes a very appropriate method to be developed in this welding process. In appropriate and easily simplified settings, this method is simulated in Finite Element Method based applications. Based on previous observations and research, the right time to provide forging loads on welding is very difficult to determine. For that we need to do a simulation before doing welding so that we can get a picture to do welding with good results, and with this simulation it is also expected to be able to know the temperature propagation in the specimen against the welding time.Keywords : Friction Welding, Simulasi, Finite Element, Dissimilar Material, Timing of Diffusion.

Abstract

Welding of automatic sliding adaptive two-axis systems is defined as welding Automatic with equipment that has a control system that automatically determines changes in welding conditions and acts under the equipment with adjustable actions to make adjustments to SMAW 1G and 1F welding positions. In the development of this study using the development method of DFMA (Desing for production and assembly) that can be interpreted as the design of a product or component that can facilitate the production process and the assembly process with other components to become a product unit. This welding uses the X and Y coordinate system. An axis is used to control the movement of the space in the X direction. The other is to move the perpendicular position in the direction of the Y axis. In addition, two opposite coordinate systems can be activated to apply two-way growth together welding. The development of sliding adaptive two-axis machines includes the design, manufacture of tools, testing of sliding adaptive two-axis machines, and testing of welding results based on visual savings and penetrant testing. The parameters are used are hem of v with an angle of 60, the current uses 90 Amper and the welding speed controlled by Arduino Uno with 4.34 rpm stepper motor, the material used is low-carbon steel. Liquid penetration tests are performed on 3 samples, the least of which are welding defects, namely in sample A compared to sample C.Keywords : SMAW Welding, Sliding Adaptive Two-Axis, Penetrating Tests

Abstract

Generally, coconut farmers in areas of Indragiri Hilir have not exploited waste plantation of coconut in theform of coir. There is only a small portion of them utilize the coir to be processed further but the processing ismanually or traditionally. Whereas coconut husk if it is processed properly that can increase the economicvalue of the coir and also can support the economic community. To overcome these problems, the design ofcoconut coir machine is conduced in this research. This design uses the method of Quality FunctionDeployment (QFD) as the design basis that aims to get the design parameters in accordance with the wishes ofthe community. From the ranking of house of quality (HOQ) which become the main priority in design of thiscoconut coir decomposer machine is ergonomic design, with the total value of importance of 159. The secondpriority is the tool dimension with the total value of importance of 93.12, And the third priority is the selectionof materials and components supporting the engineers of coconut coir, with a total value of interest 89.75. Theselection of the main material and components are: selection of the decomposer blade, selection of the drivingmotor, selection of the pulleys and belts, the selection of the shaft, the choice of bearings, the choice of steelplate, the selection of the profi L steel.Keywords : Coconut coir machine, QFD, HOQ

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to evaluate and test the reliability of sales and accounts receivable information system of PT. LMY in order to help overcome the problems faced by the company. The methods used are literature review and field researches such as interviews, checked-question lists, observations and analysis. Audit around the Computer is used as the audit method. The evaluation results in some discoveries of the advantages and disadvantages of the sales and account receivable information systems used, where the disadvantages allow for the potential risks. The conclusion based on the obtained evaluation results on the control of information systems sales and accounts receivable company is that any improvement is still needed, especially on the control of security management as well as boundary. Thus, it is necessary for the company to do audits regularly on sales and account receivable information system so that the information system can be more reliable.
