Abstract

Recently, the utilization of palm stem waste has been studied and explored by many researchers. One of them is the use of small pieces of palm stem as material for making particle board and laminated board. Processing of palm stems into small pieces can be processed by crusher system method. The shredder machine is the type of crusher machine, which incorporate with a rotating cutting of sharp blades that can destroy palm stem. However, his research did not get the optimal result because of limited research done to see the capabilities of the machine. To get optimal result need more research about crushing system, this research was to optimize the performance a shredder machine with some modifications for the engine system such as variations in the round cutter blade and geometry of cutter blade shredder machine. This research used experimental method to investigate the optimal result for crushing of the palm stem. Then, effect of variations the round cutter blade and geometric of cutting blade were tested in some conditions. Therefore, the result of this research might be expected to produce the optimal small pieces of palm stem.Keywords: Waste of palm stem, Shredder machine, Optimal results.

Abstract

Wire mesh machine is a machine used to produce wire mesh or plaid wire mesh with various size of width, length and diameter used in various places such as sports field and as a fence for the beauty of the plant. This machine is equipped with the movement of wire cutting mechanism and also wire mesh for wire removal is not necessary, this machine is also equipped with electrical circuit as control system with arduino based program with function to control electric motor so that after woven wire can directly cut wire has been in woven according to the size set in the arduino program. From the results of testing this tool, there are still some shortcomings that result in the cutting and cutting process that occurred is still not perfect. This is caused by several factors that cause the failure during the process of cutting. And the test result or simulation which have been done on arduino program designed can be simulated as expected and control system applied by arduino microcontroller on this mesh wire machine goes well.Keywords : wire mesh machine, cutting wire, and wire mesh automatic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor internal dan eksternal yang mempengaruhi penerapan teknologi informasi di Pemerintah Kabupaten Sintang sebagai dasar merumuskan strategi yang paling tepat dipilih dalam menerapkan teknologi informasi guna mewujudkan electronic government. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa yang menjadi faktor internal terdiri atas: 1) sumber daya manusia, 2) sarana dan prasarana, 3) dana/anggaran, dan 4) budaya organisasi, yang masing-masing teridentifikasi sebagai kekuatan (strength) ataupun kelemahan (weakness). Sedangkan yang menjadi faktor eksternal terdiri : 1) kondisi ekonomi, 2) politik dan hukum, 3) sosial budaya, 4) demografi dan 5) perkembangan teknologi dan globalisasi, yang selanjutnya berpotensi menjadi peluang (opportunities) ataupun ancaman (threats). Hasil analisa SWOT terhadap lingkungan strategis dengan mempertimbangkan seluruh unsur kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang maupun ancaman yang dihadapi oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten Sintang ditetapkan 7 (tujuh) strategi dalam penerapan teknologi informasi yaitu: 1) Pengembangan organisasi dan tata kerja, 2) Pembuatan aturan perundangan dan kebijakan, 3) Pengembangan SDM untuk menerapkan teknologi informasi, 4) Pembangunan infrastruktur dan akses jaringan komunikasi data yang memadai, 5) Pengembangan perangkat-perangkat lunak yang diperlukan, 6) Pemeliharaan dan perawatan perangkat lunak dan keras/jaringan, dan 7) Pengembangan dan koordinasi layanan informasi yang mampu mendukung terwujudnya masyarakat yang kompetitif serta dapat menarik minat investor ke Kabupaten Sintang.

Abstract

The processing of areca nut at the present time is still done manually and requires a long working time. To facilitate the skinner process and optimize the results that required a technology of machine which paring the areca nut skin. The Skinner machine of areca nut at this point still has deficiency. For resolving the problems that exist on the areca nut skinner machine which has type of screw then troubleshoot by varying the rotational speed of the screw feeding toward skinner tool of areca nut. After tested with variations of the rotational speed of the screw feeding to ward skinner tool of areca nut, then obtained the optimal results as much as 6 pieces and other 4 pieces of areca nut already broken on screw feeding speed at 37 rpm and 800 rpm on a skinner tool. The time that required to perform the paring process on this rotational speed is 21.7 seconds. In the process of blanking the shape of the workpiece (product) that is produced is round in the form of slabs, this form is the simplest easily measured and observed. Burr (sharpangle on the cutting edge of the sheet) is one of the characteristics of the results of cutting on the part of the workpiece (product) formed in the blanking process, these characteristics are influenced by the type of material,clearance dies, sharpness and shape of the eye tool punch. There are three criteria for failing or safe burr formation, which are categorized as good judgments if the burr height is very small, categorized as mediumrating if the height of burr approaches the limiting curve but still in the area of the safe curve, it is categorized as bad if the height of the burr is very large. In this study the blanking process uses mild steel plates with a platethickness of 1.5 mm. The punch tool used is four, namely the punch tool A, B, C, and D. The tool punch materialuses HSS with a diameter of 16 mm while for dies using AISI 4340. The clearance dies used is 0,09 mm. From the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the blanking process using the punch tool requires a working pressure of 115 bar with the smallest burr height of 0,12 mm and the largest of 0,47 mm. The blanking process using the punch B tool requires a working pressure of 50 bar with the smallest burrheight of 0,10 mm, and the largest of 0,24 mm. The blanking process using the punch C tool requires a working pressure of 119 bar with the smallest burr height of 0,55 mm and the largest of 0,75 mm. The blanking processusing the punch D tool requires a working pressure of 60 bar with the smallest burr height of 0,15 mm and the largest of 0,36 mm.Keywords: Blanking Process, Tool Punch, Dies, Burr

Abstract

Transport for humans at the present time this is a very necessary thing. The modifications made by the people is by making two-wheeled vehicles or motorcycles into three or more wheeled vehicles for the transport of goods. Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is a method that serves to design tools according to the needs of the community, so we get the design parameters in the manufacture outboard rickshaw connection. Design For Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) is a method that serves to determine the most efficient manner in the product creation process and minimize the time of the assembly, while the time required in the assembly process outboard rickshaw is 545.75 seconds with time efficiency of 7.69%.Keyword: Conection, Pedicab, QFD, DFMA

Abstract

Welding is an important part of industrial growth because it plays a major role in engineering and production repair. Shield metal arc welding (SMAW) is a welding technique using an electric current that forms an arc of current and a webbed electrode. In the SMAW welding process, there are variables that determine the quality of the welding results, including the selection of electrodes, the selection of currents in the machine that must be adjusted, and the position and welding speed that must be precise. In welding, high speeds can cause less penetration, reduce joint strength and result in less heat input. Welding speed that is too high will affect the narrow bead shape and low bead reinforcement. In addition, it can change the mechanical properties of the weld area in the form of increased tensile strength and low elongation. From these problems, this research will make a speed control system for a stepper motor that drives a welding handlebar, a speed controller based on a microcontroller. Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are types of businesses that are widely operated by individuals, households, and small enterprises. To fulfill their tax obligations, MSME taxpayers need to understand the principles of recording and bookkeeping, as these form the basis for calculating income tax liabilities. Trisakti School of Management's Center for Community Research and Development (P3M) collaborates with the Jakarta Grogol Petamburan Tax Office to provide guidance on how to maintain proper bookkeeping and recording for MSME taxpayers. This training event is conducted in partnership with the Kantor Kecamatan Grogol Petamburan, Jackpreneur, and Baqoel. The objective of this community service activity is to provide an understanding of how to maintain proper recording and bookkeeping for MSME taxpayers and how to calculate taxes using these records and books. The training method involves delivering materials through lectures, providing examples of recording and bookkeeping cases, and conducting tax calculations using the recorded data. The expected outcomes of this training are that participants will grasp their obligations when they possess a Tax Identification Number (NPWP) and will register their businesses to obtain an NPWP for those who do not have one. The ultimate target is to increase the number of MSME taxpayers who have an NPWP, make tax payments, and submit tax reports, thereby improving the compliance of MSME taxpayers.

Abstract

One of the main characteristics of modern society is technological progress in everyday life, but on the other hand, challenges in modern society include the spread of fake news, disinformation, and leaks of personal data. The study's goal is to investigate the influence of social commerce information sharing (SCIS) on consumer trust and the risk of privacy perceived by consumers, as well as the effect of consumer trust on the risk of privacy perceived by Tokopedia users, as mediated through trust. A questionnaire was issued to 100 Tokopedia customers to collect data. SEM-PLS (Structural Model) with WarpPLS software version 8.0 is used for data analysis. SCIS has an effect on trust and consumer-perceived privacy risk, while trust has no effect on consumer-perceived privacy risk, according to the findings. SCIS has a higher impact on consumer trust than on their perceived privacy risks. This demonstrates the need for Tokopedia to build consumer trust.

Abstract

XYZ Hospital medical personnel and their colleagues are the focus of this study, which seeks to define and clarify how motivation affects performance. In this study, quantitative techniques were applied. The population of this study were 46 people who worked at the Gowa Regency Personnel and Human Resources Office. sampling from research using saturated sampling. Direct field studies by distributing questionnaires to participants became a data collection method. After that, the validity and reliability of the questionnaires obtained were evaluated. The findings indicate a sizable beneficial impact of motivating factors on job performance. Employee performance is greatly enhanced by the cleanliness aspect. Employee performance will be enhanced with motivator improvement factors and hygiene considerations. As a result, the attractiveness of employee performance in the medical field, especially at XYZ Hospital is supported by motivator factors and hygiene elements.
