Abstract

The learning process that does not focus on student needs causes low learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the problems in the field, namely the learning outcomes of grade IV students of UPTD SD Inpres Perumnas 2 during the Mid-Semester Summative; only 13 students have completed it out of 30 other students. Thus, this study aims to improve student's learning outcomes by applying the Problem-Based Learning model. This study uses the Classroom Action Research method, with data collection techniques through observation and tests. This study consists of two consecutive cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. The results of the cycle I showed that 13 students (43.33%) had achieved the criteria for achieving learning objectives or had been declared complete because students always listened to the teacher's explanation and could work on evaluation questions correctly. While the other 17 students (56.67%) had not been declared complete because students were not focused on learning, even students had not done the evaluation questions properly. Student learning outcomes in cycle II showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes, with 26 students (86.67%) achieving KKTP or declared complete because the students were active, listened to the teacher's explanation, and did the evaluation questions well. The other 4 students (13.33%) did not achieve KKTP because they did not give their opinions during the discussion, disturbed each other, and could not even do the evaluation questions correctly. The completion of student learning outcomes in cycle II had reached 86.67%, so it was included in the very good criteria. It is known that learning by implementing the Problem-Based Learning model is very effective and can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi Keragaman Budaya Indonesia melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) di kelas V SD GMIT Kuanino 1. Masalah utama yang dihadapi dalam pembelajaran adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa karena metode pembelajaran yang digunakan masih berpusat pada guru. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang terdiri atas empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 18 siswa kelas V SD GMIT Kuanino 1. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa serta pemberian tes hasil belajar Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, dan hasil belajar. Aktivitas guru meningkat dari 70% pada siklus I menjadi 94% pada siklus II. Aktivitas siswa meningkat dari 68% menjadi 96%, dan ketuntasan belajar meningkat dari 61,11% pada siklus I menjadi 100% pada siklus II. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model PBL efektif dalam meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam materi pantun melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Make a Match di kelas V SD GMIT Uitao. Masalah yang ditemukan pada tahap pra siklus adalah rendahnya capaian belajar siswa, di mana hanya 17,4% siswa yang memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Pada siklus I, penerapan model Make a Match menunjukkan peningkatan capaian belajar menjadi 39,2%. Namun, hasil tersebut belum mencapai ketuntasan klasikal. Perbaikan dilakukan pada siklus II dengan memberikan waktu diskusi lebih lama, memperjelas instruksi, dan mengoptimalkan media kartu. Hasilnya, capaian belajar meningkat signifikan hingga mencapai 100%. Peningkatan dari pra siklus ke siklus II menunjukkan bahwa model Make a Match efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap struktur dan isi pantun. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar guru menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif yang interaktif dan menyenangkan sebagai bagian dari strategi pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Model Make a Match terbukti mampu meningkatkan partisipasi, motivasi, dan hasil belajar siswa secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

This research aims to improve students' analytical skills using the Group Investigation type cooperative learning model in fifth grade students at SD GMIT Kuanino 2. The research method used is a qualitative and quantitative approach (Mix Method). Data collection techniques consisting of observation techniques and test techniques; The research subjects were 21 fifth grade students consisting of 12 male students and 9 female students using qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. This research was conducted at SD GMIT Kuanino 2, Kupang City, with the results of this research showing that there was an increase in results in cycle I to cycle II with the average value in cycle I (68.19%) increasing to (81.57%) in cycle II . Of the 21 students, 11 students (52.38%) completed it while 10 students (47.62%) did not complete it. Furthermore, in cycle II of 21 students, 18 students (85.71%) were declared complete, while 3 students (14.29%) did not complete. Based on the research results above, it is concluded that the application of the Group Investigation Type Cooperative Learning Model can improve students' analytical skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran IPAS, khususnya materi mengubah bentuk energi di UPTD SD Negeri Sikumana 1. Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa menjadi latar belakang penelitian ini, sehingga diperlukan model pembelajaran yang mampu melibatkan siswa secara aktif dalam proses pembelajaran.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 19 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa serta tes hasil belajar. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menghitung nilai rata-rata dan persentase ketuntasan belajar.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada setiap siklus. Pada siklus I, nilai rata-rata siswa sebesar 80,63 dengan persentase ketuntasan 68,42%. Pada siklus II, nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 87,89 dengan persentase ketuntasan mencapai 94,73%. Hasil tersebut telah melampaui indikator keberhasilan yang ditetapkan, yaitu 80% .Selain itu, aktivitas guru dan siswa selama pembelajaran juga mengalami peningkatan ke arah yang lebih baik.Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dapat  meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV pada materi mengubah bentuk energi di UPTD SD Negeri Sikumana 1.

Abstract

Penelitian dengan judul “Penggunaan Media Flashcard untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Membaca Permulaan Murid Kelas II pada Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di UPTD SD Inpres Perumnas 1 Kota Kupang” dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan membaca permulaan murid kelas II. Hal ini terlihat dari sebagian besar murid yang belum mencapai kriteria ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran (KKTP) yang telah ditetapkan.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca permulaan murid melalui penggunaan media flashcard dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh murid kelas II UPTD SD Inpres Perumnas 1 Kota Kupang yang berjumlah 32 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi observasi dan tes. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Pada siklus I, hasil belajar murid mencapai persentase ketuntasan sebesar 43,75% dengan kategori cukup, namun belum mencapai indikator keberhasilan yang ditetapkan. Pada siklus II, hasil belajar murid meningkat secara signifikan dengan persentase ketuntasan mencapai 93,75% dan berada pada kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media flashcard efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca permulaan murid kelas II pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di UPTD SD Inpres Perumnas 1 Kota Kupang.

Abstract

The research aims to develop a Science Module based on Local Culture to enhance the Critical Thinking Skills of prospective Elementary School Teachers. This type of research is development research, using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The subjects of this study were 30 fifth-semester students of the Elementary School Teacher Education Program, who acted as prospective teachers and used the Local Culture-Based Science Module in their coursework as part of a trial of the module's use. The data collection methods employed were questionnaires to gather information on validation, attractiveness, and practicality, as well as tests to assess effectiveness. The data analysis technique used was descriptive quantitative analysis, where total scores and values were calculated and then averaged to be interpreted according to predetermined criteria. The results obtained from the research process showed that the Local Culture-Based Science Module was valid with a validity score of 3.85, attractive with a score of 82.2, practical with a score of 80, and effective with an average final test score of 83.06. In conclusion, the Local Culture-Based Science Module is valid, attractive, practical, and effective for use as a teaching guide for prospective elementary school teachers

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using Articulate Storyline 3-based interactive learning media on increasing the learning interest of fourth-grade students in the Pancasila Education subject, specifically regarding the topic of Rights and Obligations, at SDK Don Bosko 4 in Kupang. This study employed a quantitative method using a pre-experimental design of the one-group pretest-posttest type. The sample consisted of 20 students selected using a saturation sampling technique. Data collection was conducted through a learning interest questionnaire using a Likert scale that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using normality tests, paired-sample t-tests, and effect size calculations. The results indicated a significant effect of using Articulate Storyline 3-based interactive learning media on students’ learning interest. This was evidenced by the paired-sample t-test yielding a significance value of 0.008 (p < 0.05). The average student learning interest score increased from 66.60 on the pretest to 76.10 on the posttest. Additionally, the effect size calculation yielded a Cohen’s d value of 0.97, which falls into the large category. Thus, Articulate Storyline 3-based interactive learning media has been proven effective in increasing students’ learning interest in the Pancasila Education subject in elementary school.
