Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mejelaskan implementasi pendekatan saintifik dalam mewujudkan kemandirian belajar peserta didik di SMP Negeri 1 Banyumas Kabupaten Pringsewu. Jenis penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Adapun teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Untuk uji keabsahan data penelitian menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pendekatan santifik dalam mewujudkan kemandirian belajar peserta didik di SMP Negeri 1 Banyumas Kabupaten Pringsewu berjalan dengan baik. Hal ini ditandai dengan guru telah melakukan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran dengan baik. Kemudian pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan saintifik pada pembelajaran PAI di SMP Negeri 1 Banyumas Kabupaten Pringsewu, guru sudah menerapkan langkah-langkah pendekatan saintifik yang meliputi, kegiatan mengamati, kegiatan menanya, kegiatan mengumpulkan informasi, kegiatan menalar, serta kegiatan mengomunikasikan. Peserta didik telah menunjukkan kemandirian belajar setelah mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan saintifik yang meliputi beberapa aspek, yaitu memiliki inisiatif, aktif dalam pembelajaran, dan dapat bertanggungjawab pada saat mengikuti proses pembelajaran PAI.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims: 1) to determine the planning of character education values for students in the era of society 5.0 at Madrasah Aliyah Pondok Pesantren Yasrib Lapajung Watansoppeng, 2) to identify the implementation of character education values for students in the era of society 5.0 at Madrasah Aliyah Pondok Pesantren Yasrib Lapajung Watansoppeng, 3) to assess the evaluation of character education values for students in the era of society 5.0 at Madrasah Aliyah Pondok Pesantren Yasrib Lapajung Watansoppeng. This research is qualitative in nature and conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Pondok Pesantren Yasrib Lapajung Watansoppeng. The data sources are the school principal, educators, and students. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. The research instruments consist of observation guidelines and interview guidelines, with data analysis involving data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing, and verification. Data validity is ensured through triangulation. The findings of this research reveal that; 1) Planning for character education values for students in the era of society 5.0 at Madrasah Aliyah Pondok Pesantren Yasrib Lapajung Watansoppeng is very good, with planning conducted through meetings involving all educators in the planning process; 2) The implementation of character education values for students in the era of society 5.0 at Madrasah Aliyah Pondok Pesantren Yasrib Lapajung Watansoppeng, particularly in terms of religious, social care, creativity, curiosity, peace-loving, and friendliness, can be considered suboptimal, as the implementation does not align with the previous planning; 3) Evaluation of character education values for students in the era of society 5.0 at Madrasah Aliyah Pondok Pesantren Yasrib Lapajung Watansoppeng. The evaluation conducted by the madrasah and educators has been performed well to assess the extent to which the implementation of character education values can be realized by students both inside and outside the classroom. Conclusion that planning of character education values for students at Madrasah Aliyah Pondok Pesantren Yasrib Lapajung Watansoppeng in the Society 5.0 era is very well-executed, focusing on the integration of information technology in teaching and training for educators. However, the implementation is not optimal due to a lack of cooperation among educators, infrequent training, and limited facilities such as insufficient multimedia rooms. The evaluation of character education values has been well-conducted through meetings, end-of-semester exams, online features, and observations to ensure effective implementation both inside and outside the classroom.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the comparison of voter participation among Generation Z, Millennials, Generation X, and Baby Boomers in the 2024 General Election in Lampung Province. This study employs a quantitative method with a survey approach, where the population consists of 6,539,128 registered voters, and a sample of 2,085 respondents is selected using the Slovin formula. Data were collected through a questionnaire designed to measure political knowledge, attitudes toward elections, and political participation. The discussion results indicate a significant difference in voter participation levels across generations. Generation Z exhibits a lower participation rate compared to other generations, influenced by a lack of political knowledge and interest in political issues. Meanwhile, Millennials and Generation X demonstrate more active participation, driven by an awareness of the importance of their votes in shaping policy direction. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that to enhance voter participation, particularly among Generation Z, more intensive political education efforts and effective communication strategies from political parties are needed. This study provides valuable insights for policymakers and political parties in designing programs that can improve voter participation in the future.

Abstract

One of the elements contributing to teenagers' moral deterioration is technological advancements in the digital era that are not aligned with their moral progress. This study aims to discover the moral issues of teenagers in the digital age, the concept of morality in Islam, and moral teaching from the perspective of Islamic education. This study employed library research with a descriptive-analytic approach. The study findings indicate that the sophistication of digital technology has negative consequences for teenagers, pushing them further away from religious ideals. The purpose of moral education in Islamic education for teenagers is to live according to Allah's commands and carry out their duties as servants of Allah and His representatives on earth. As a result, Islamic education is inextricably linked to efforts to instill Islamic educational values, including moral values known as akhlak.

Abstract

Kecerdasan intelektual (IQ) menyumbang sekitar 20% dalam prestasi hidup seseorang, sedangkan 80 % lainnya dipengaruhi oleh kekuatan lainnya, yang diantaranya adalah kecerdasan emosional (EQ). Dengan strategi yang tepat, diharapkan guru dapat mengembangkan kecerdasan emosional peserta didik agar mampu memahami pembelajaran yang disampaikan, karena akal saja tidak cukup tanpa adanya penghayatan emosi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pengembangan kecerdasan emosional (Emotional Quotient/EQ) peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di SMK Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini menggali strategi guru PAI dalam mengembangkan EQ peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dalam pengembangan EQ peserta didik strategi yang digunakan yaitu melalui model pembelajaran yang digunakan seperti cooperative learning, quantum learning, dan project based learning. Kemudian metode pembelajaran yang variatif, media pembelajaran yang reflektif, dan evaluasi berbasis reflektif. Serta kegiatan luar kelas seperti shalat berjamaah, tadarus, dan kegiatan perlombaan islam. Kemudian terdapat faktor pendukung dan penghambat yang mempengaruhi pengembangan EQ peserta didik diantaranya; peran guru, inovasi pembelajaran, fasilitas, peran orang tua dan juga peserta didik itu sendiri.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas model pembelajaran Project Based Learning pada hasil belajar siswa di SMP Ma’arif 09 Way Jepara pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain Eksperimen Semu. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari kelas eksperimen (VIII A) dan kelas kontrol (VIII B). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes. Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis (Independent Sample t-Test). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model Project Based Learning dibandingkan dengan model Direct Learning. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai Sig.(2-tailed) < P Value yakni 0,00 < 0,05., yang berarti model Project Based Learning secara signifikan lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Secara deskriptif, rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi (M = 79,00) dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol (M = 62,50) Hasil tersebut menunjukan bahwa Project Based Learning lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam karena model ini mendorong keterlibatan aktif siswa, meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan mendorong mereka dalam memahami materi melalui project yang relevan. Oleh karena itu, penerapan Project Based Learning dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di sekolah perlu lebih dioptimalkan guna meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the ROPES learning model on the learning motivation of students in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) for Grade XI at SMA Negeri 13 Bandar Lampung. The study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental, posttest-only control group design. The sample consisted of two classes randomly selected through simple random sampling: the experimental class, which used the ROPES learning model, and the control class, which used conventional learning methods. The ROPES model was implemented through five steps: Review, Overview, Presentation, Exercise, and Summary. Data were collected using a learning motivation questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, yielding a reliability coefficient of 0.691. The post-test data were analyzed using normality and homogeneity tests, followed by an independent samples t-test. The analysis revealed a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.271 (> 0.05), indicating no significant difference in learning motivation between the experimental and control groups. In conclusion, the ROPES learning model does not have a significant effect on students’ learning motivation. Factors such as the implementation process, learner characteristics, or the limited duration of the intervention may have influenced these results. This study contributes to the development of learning models and the measurement of learning motivation and recommends further research under different conditions and with longer intervention periods.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of improving students’ learning outcomes in the cognitive domain at the C4 level (analysis), which is a crucial component of higher-order thinking processes. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of problem-based learning models on students’ learning outcomes at the analysis level. This study employs a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental posttest-only control group design. The research sample consists of two eighth-grade classes at SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung, selected using simple random sampling. Class VIII.6, serving as the experimental group, received instruction through a problem-based learning model, while class VIII.8, serving as the control group, received conventional instruction. The instrument used was a multiple-choice test consisting of five valid items, with a reliability coefficient of 0.673. Data analysis was conducted using prerequisite tests and an independent samples t-test. The results showed a significance value of 0.073 > 0.05, indicating that H₀ is accepted. Therefore, there is no significant difference between the learning outcomes of the experimental group and the control group. In conclusion, the implementation of the problem-based learning model did not have a significant effect on improving students’ analytical skills compared to conventional teaching methods.

Abstract

SMP Negeri 1 Kota Agung has implemented a culture of literacy as a means to improve students' insights, supported by adequate reading book facilities for grades VII to IX. The implementation of literacy is carried out in the morning with a descriptive qualitative field research approach, which collects main and additional data through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing and verification techniques, and using triangulation of sources, techniques and time to ensure data validity. The results showed that Islamic information literacy planning at SMPN 1 Kota Agung has been well integrated by PAI teachers through the preparation of lesson plans and regular meetings. The implementation of Islamic literacy focuses on religious habituation activities carried out every day and once a week, as well as through intracurricular activities such as reciting the Qur'an before learning. Evaluation of Islamic information literacy activities is considered very effective in shaping students' positive behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of moderate Islam in Indonesian society through a bibliometric approach, focusing on scholarly literature published between 2019 and 2024. Moderate Islam has become a vital pillar in maintaining social harmony, promoting interfaith tolerance, and reducing the potential for radicalization, particularly among the younger generation. Based on the bibliometric analysis, there has been a notable increase in the number of publications related to moderate Islam, peaking in 2021, although a decline was observed in subsequent years. This study highlights the role of moderate Islam in shaping policies that emphasize interreligious dialogue and reinforce the values of inclusivity in social life. Furthermore, moderate Islam plays a significant role in promoting social balance, fostering a more just society, and encouraging the active participation of women in the public sphere of religion. Through bibliometric analysis, this research identifies trends and patterns in publications related to moderate Islam and illustrates its contribution to developing social and political stability in Indonesia. Overall, the findings of this study offer valuable insights for policymakers, academics, and the public in strengthening the values of moderation in religious life across Indonesia.   Keywords: Moderate Islam, Bibliometric Analysis, Social Harmony in Indonesia
