Abstract

Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy (DPN) adalah bentuk komplikasi yang paling banyak pada pasien diabetes. Ankle Reflex (AR) merupakan pemeriksaan fisik sederhana yang dapat digunakan sebagai prosedur deteksi untuk mencegah morbiditas dan mortalitas yang disebabkan oleh DPN dengan mengevaluasi fungsi saraf sensoris dan motoris. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui validitas AR sebagai prosedur deteksi DPN pada pasien diabetes melitus (DM) tipe 2. Penelitian dilakukan di RSUD Dr. H. Moch. Ansari Saleh Banjarmasin. Jenis penelitian ini adalah uji diagnostik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Penelitian melibatkan 69 pasien DM tipe 2 di Poliklinik Penyakit Dalam sebagai peserta. Pasien dievaluasi menggunakan skor Diabetic Neuropathy Examination (DNE), Diabetic Neuropathy Symptom (DNS) dan pemeriksaan AR. Data dianalisis menggunakan tabel uji diagnostik 2x2 dan kurva receiving operating characterictic (ROC). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa AR memiliki nilai sensitivitas 100%, spesifisitas 72,73%, akurasi 82,61%, nilai duga positif 67,57%, nilai duga negatif 100%, dan 0.88 area under curve (AUC). Simpulan penelitian ini adalah AR memiliki nilai validitas yang baik dan dapat digunakan sebagai prosedur deteksi DPN yang cepat dan mudah untuk pasien DM tipe 2.

Abstract

Abstrak. Kegiatan ini merupakan desiminasi hasil penelitian. Penelitian mengungkap bahwa pembelajaran bahasa Jawa di SMA kurang didukung oleh kesiapan yang baik. Pengajar bahasa Jawa mayoritas dari bidang studi lain. Kurikulum muatan lokal kurang dipahami secara konseptual. Kompetensi komunikatif siswa rendah. Penelitian merekomendasikan perlunya pengembangan pembelajaran muatan lokal bahasa Jawa mampu menyentuh kebutuhan sosial budaya yang relevan dengan konteks lingkungan siswa. Untuk itu guru perlu dilatih mengembangkan model pembelajarannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah pedagogi partisipasi kolaboratif dengan menekankan latihan dan partisipasi aktif peserta. Akhir kegiatan, guru dapat menyusun materi dan rancangan pembelajaran sesuai dengan kebutuhan komunikatif dan sosial budaya siswa. Kata kunci:pembelajaran, sosial budaya

Abstract

Salah satu penyebabrendahnya keterampilan berbicara mahasiswa adalah strategi pembelajaran yang kurang akomodatif terhadap kondisi mahasiswa. Untuk itu perlu penelitian yang menggunakan strategi yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Jawa yakni strategi Gruop Field Tour. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus, yang masing-masing siklus terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, observasi, refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah dilakukan pembelajaran dengan strategi Gruop Field Tour ini nilai rata-rata kelas siklus I meningkat sebesar 63,47 dan siklus II telah mengalami peningkatan sebesar 24,07. Peningkatan nilai rata-rata kelas keterampilan berbicara tersebut merupakan gabungan masing-masing aspek penilaian. Keterampilan berbicara bahasa Jawa mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan setelah dilaksanakannya proses pembelajaran bahasa Jawa dengan menggunakan strategi Gruop Field Tour pada siklus I dan siklus II. One of the causes of students’ low speaking skill was learning strategy which does not sufficiently accommodate the students’ condition. A study which employs astrategy to improve the speaking skill in Javanese through Group Field Tour was required. The study was conducted in two cycles, each of which consisted of planning, observation, and reflection. The study showed that through the Group Field Tour the average score in cycle I improved 63.47 and in cycle II 24.07. The improvement of the average score of speaking was a combination of each assessment criterion. The students’ speaking skill in Javanese improved after the Group Field Tour strategy in cycle I and cycle II was executed

Abstract

Objectives of the research are (1) to know the necessity of learning Javanese speech, (2) to know the prototype development of media pepipak video, (3) to know the product validation of media pepipak video for speech learning. This research uses the research and development approach. The development of this media is through five steps, i.e (1) potential problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) test expert validation, (5) design improvement. The instrument of this research is the nontest instrument in the form questionnaire. Based on the analysis results, the necessity of learning Javanese speech shows the teacher and the students need media pepipak video. The prototype results of media pepipak video have duration 04.18 minutes which consist of: (1) opening of media, (2) content of media, (3) closing of media. The test expert validation of the materials and media are obtained percentage 71.76% and 78,82% which includes a good category with some revisions, that is on the opening of media which is added the identity of the media maker.

Abstract

Di Kalimantan Selatan, prevalensi penderita diabetes melitus sebesar 11,1%. Kalimantan Selatan merupakan provinsi dengan tambang batubara tersebar di seluruh wilayah. Hal ini menjadikan penderita diabetes melitus terpapar debu batubara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur peroksidasi lipid akibat paparan debu batubara subkronik dan pengaruhnya pada kadar gula darah tikus diabetes melitus. Kelompok penelitian meliputi tikus Wistar diabetes melitus (P1), kelompok diabetes melitus + paparan debu batubara dosis 12,5 mg/m3 1 jam/hari selama 28 hari (P2), dan kelompok diabetes melitus + paparan debu batubara dosis 25 mg/m3 1 jam/hari selama 28 hari (P3), masing-masing 6 ekor. Penelitian dilakukan mulai Agustus–Oktober 2010. Uji analysis of variance (ANOVA) terhadap kadar malondialdehid (MDA) plasma tidak didapatkan peningkatan secara bermakna antara kelompok perlakuan (p>0,05). Penurunan kadar gula untuk P1, P2, dan P3 berturut-turut sebesar 23,6%, 16,9%, dan 9,3%. Analisis uji t tidak berpasangan terhadap kadar gula darah tidak didapatkan perbedaan bermakna sebelum dan setelah perlakuan pada semua kelompok (p>0,05). Tidak terdapat korelasi antara kadar MDA plasma dan kadar gula darah setelah perlakuan pada berbagai kelompok (p>0,05). Disimpulkan bahwa paparan debu batubara subkronik tidak meningkatkan peroksidasi lipid yang mempengaruhi kadar gula darah pada tikus diabetes melitus dan tidak ada korelasi antara kadar MDA dan glukosa darah. South Kalimantan is a province with coal mine spread in all districts. This condition induce coal dust exposure on diabetes mellitus patients. Aim of this study was to measure lipid peroxidation by subchronic coal dust exposure and its effect on glucose level in Wistar rats model of diabetes mellitus. Group included diabetes mellitus Wistar rats (P1), diabetes mellitus + coal dust exposure at dose 12.5 mg/m3 1 hour/day for 28 days (P2) and diabetes mellitus + coal dust exposure at dose 25 mg/m3 1 hour/day for 28 days (P3) on 6 rats, respectively. This research was done from August–October 2010. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) test concluded no significant differently on increased plasma malondialdehyde (MDA) level between all groups (p>0.05). Percentage of blood glucose level decreased 23.6%, 16.9% and 9.3% for P1, P2, P3 group, respectively. Unpaired t test concluded that blood glucose level were not significant differently between pre and post treatment in all groups (p>0.05). There was no correlation between plasma MDA level and blood glucose level in all groups of exposure (p>0.05). In conclusions, that subchronic coal dust exposure doesn’t increase lipid peroxidation and no effect on blood glucose level in diabetes mellitus rats and no correlation between MDA dan blood glucose level. Abstract

Knowing students' learning outcomes and critical thinking abilities is crucial for effective instruction, resource allocation, and improving student learning across various subjects. This encourages testing of the effectiveness of problem-based learning in improving students' learning outcomes and critical thinking abilities. The aim of this research is to describe the impact of implementing the problem-based learning model on improving learning outcomes and critical thinking skills in mathematics learning. This quasi-experimental research employed a pre-test, and post-test control group design involving 42 fifth grade elementary school students in one of the cities in Central Java, with 24 participants assigned to experimental group and 18 participants to control groups. Throughout a four-week duration, the experimental group received instruction utilizing problem-based learning model, while the control group was taught applying traditional learning. Using tests of learning outcomes and critical thinking abilities, both groups were assessed before and after the intervention, and the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and t-tests. The research findings indicate that problem-based learning has a positive impact on mathematical learning outcomes and critical thinking, with improvements falling within the moderate category. In conclusion, there is a significant difference between classes using the problem-based learning model and conventional classes. This finding enriches our understanding of the effectiveness of innovative teaching methods such as problem-based learning in enhancing learning and critical thinking abilities in the context of mathematics education.
