Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work integrity and job demands on employee loyalty, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable on gold shop employees in traditional markets in nine sub-districts in Grobogan Regency. The method used is explanatory quantitative research with PLS-SEM analysis using SmartPLS version 4.1.1.6, involving 154 respondents selected through purposive sampling technique. The results of the study indicate that work integrity does not significantly influence job satisfaction or employee loyalty. In contrast, job demands have a significant positive effect on job satisfaction and loyalty, although the direction of the influence is different from the initial hypothesis. In addition, job satisfaction has a significant positive effect on employee loyalty, and is proven to mediate the relationship between job demands and loyalty, but does not mediate the relationship between work integrity and loyalty. These findings confirm that employee loyalty is more influenced by perceptions of job demands and levels of job satisfaction than by work integrity. Practically, the results of the study recommend the importance of proportional management of job demands and increasing aspects of job satisfaction to strengthen employee loyalty in gold shops.

Abstract

The development of digital platform-based work systems increasingly emphasizes the importance of fairness in reward provision and flexibility in work arrangements for driver-partners. This study aims to analyze the effect of platform-based work rewards and work flexibility on partner performance, with affective trust as a mediating variable. This study used a quantitative approach through an explanatory survey design with 100 active driver-partners. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results show that platform-based work rewards and work flexibility have a positive influence on affective trust and driver-partner performance. In addition, affective trust shows a significant mediating role in explaining the relationship between the two variables and performance. These findings confirm that reward fairness and work flexibility play a significant role in building emotional trust and improving driver-partner performance in algorithm-based work systems.

Abstract

In order to examine how work motivation mediates the link between hard skills, soft skills, and work preparedness, this study focuses on seventh-semester management students who completed internships at Dian Nuswantoro University during the 2025-2026 academic year. The purpose of the research is to look at how different types of abilities, both hard and soft, affect job readiness and motivation. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) and SmartPLS 4 were used for statistical analysis of the survey data. Students in their seventh semester of management programs who had completed internships were selected using a purposive sample technique. The results demonstrate that students' employment readiness is positively and significantly affected by their job motivation, which is affected by both their hard and soft skills. Mediation studies have shown that intrinsic job motivation strengthens the relationship between job readiness, hard skills, and soft skills. The R² value for work readiness is 0.751, which means that Hard Skills, Soft Skills, and Work Motivation together explain 75.1% of the variation. In contrast, the R² value for work motivation is 0.685, which suggests that Hard Skills and Soft Skills account for 68.5% of the variation. This study's findings highlight the importance of internships in enhancing management students' job motivation, technical competence, and interpersonal skills in order to better prepare them for the profession upon graduation. This study presents strong evidence that schools should focus on helping students improve their hard skills, soft skills, and motivation for the job as important strategies for preparing them for the workforce.
