Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menjadi penyebab kesulitan belajar pada mata pelajaran IPA (Biologi). Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan menggunakan angket dan wawancara. Penelitian ini di lakukan pada siswa kelas VII MTsS PGAI Padang Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa faktor yang menjadi penyebab kesulitan belajar Biologi siswa yaitu 45% siswa sulit belajar karena dari faktor diri sendiri, faktor dari lingkungan sekolah 33% dengan kategori rendah, faktor keluarga 70% (dengan kategori tinggi), faktor dari lingkungan masyarakat 63% (dengan kategori tinggi).

Abstract

Materi sistem ekskresi pada manusia merupakan salah satu materi biologi yang sulit dipelajari karena bersifat abstrak. Untuk mempelajari materi tersebut diperlukan media yang dapat menyajikan materi dalam bentuk gambar animasi yang disajikan secara interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan CD interaktif sistem ekskresi pada manusia yang valid serta mengetahui respons siswa yang menggunakannya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian  pengembangan yang menggunakan  four  D-models  yang  terdiri  dari  tahap  pendefinisian  (define), perancangan (design), pengembangan (develop), dan penyebaran (disseminate). Penelitian ini dilakukan sampai pada tahap  develop. Tahap develop dilakukan melalui tahap-tahap, yaitu validasi oleh pakar, dan uji coba terbatas pada siswa di MAN Koto Baru Padang Panjang kelas XI IPA1. Data yang dikumpulkan dari penelitian ini adalah hasil validasi CD interaktif, dan respons siswa terhadap CD interaktif yang dihasilkan, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil validasi yang diberikan validator memperoleh nilai rata-rata 3,5 yang dikategorikan sangat baik. Respons siswa yang diminta setelah kegiatan uji coba secara umum positif dan membangkitkan minat belajar siswa.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to know the application of guided inquiry learning model to the biology learning result of the students of second years of yunior high school in the affective domain. The study was conducted in the odd semester of the academic year 2017/2018. The research is an experimental research using randomized control group postest only design research design. The study used two sample classes: the experimental class with given the application of Inquiry guided learning model and the control class using conventional learning method. The research instrument used is observation sheet of attitude evaluation. Indicators assessed are responsibility and confidence. The result showed that the average affective value of the experimental class is 82,50 (Good predicate) and the control class average is 73,85 (Good predicate). Working hypothesis accepted because tcount = 3.26> ttable = 1.672, and there are differences in student learning outcomes in both classes of samples significantly. That is means the implementation of Inquiry Learning model can improve the learning outcomes of biology of grade VIII SMP students affective

Abstract

The low value of the students in the subjects of biology at Madrasah Aliyah Sumpur seen some of the factors that affect the learning outcomes one of which is the learning process. The learning process is one of the critical success factors in learning. To obtain a good learning must be supported by a good learning process and effective. In addition, the learning often occurs in terms of issues such as teachers, students, facilities, and infrastructure. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Data validity checking technique used is the technique of triangulation. The data were analyzed qualitatively. Based on the results of analysis of the learning process can be concluded as follows (1) Planning Learning in terms of the format is in accordance with aspects of assessment in the IPKG-1. Based on the study of documentation in terms of content, learning Implementation Plan (RPP) is not in accordance with the syllabus (2) The general teaching is in conformity with the appraisal aspect IPKG-2 (3) assessment / evaluation of learning is done in the capture of the cognitive aspects of the value daily tests. Affective and psychomotor assessments taken from the attitude and skills of the student assessment for learning (4) learning problems that occur specifically in learning biological medium category (2.23). The problem there in terms of teachers, students, facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to describe self control and truant behavior students and examine the relationship between self control with the behavior of truant students. This research applied quantitative method and descriptive correlational design, with a sample of 234 students,  that drawn by Propotional Stratified Random Sampling technique. The instrument of this research was a scale of Likert model. Hypothesis testing of research using the formula Pearson Product Moment Correlation with SPSS for mindows release 20.00. The results showed: (1) on average,  the truant behavior of class X and XI SMA Negeri 7 Padang was 19.86 hours of lessons in 2 months, (2) on average,  class X and XI SMA Negeri 7 Padang self control was 108.24 at the high category, (3) there was significant negative of self-control with truant behavior of students, with a correlation coefficient -0.289  significance level 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05. This research can be used as an analysis of the needs of students for the teacher of guidance and counseling for the manufacture of guidance and counseling services programs at SMA Negeri 7 Padang.

Abstract

Self-concept is an opinion, feeling or perception of someone about his/herself that is related to the physical appearance, social, emotional, moral, and cognitive. This research is based on the visual impairment people who judge themselves in negative way. This research uses quantitative method with descriptive approach. The subject of this research is 50 visual impairment people which consist of 30 blind people, and 20 low vision people. The instrument of this research is questionnaire. The result of this research shows that the self-concept of all of those visual impairment people are in the medium category. It is expected to all of guidance and counseling teachers to give their service based on the need of those people for keeping their self-concept good and helping to develop their self-concept in the positive way.

Abstract

Hopelessness is a state of helpless individuals who lose hope about their future. This study aims to describe hopelessness and see the the difference in terms of the criminal period served and the intensity of family visits on female prisoners in LPKA class IIB Payakumbuh. This research uses a comparative descriptive approach. Research subjects in this study were 32 female inmates. The research instrument was a questionnaire about hopelessness with a Likert scale model. Data were analyzed using variance analysis technique (ANAVA). The results showed : (1) Hopelessness of female convicts based on the criminal period underwent namely in the 0-1 year period was in the high category, in the 1-2 year period was in the high category, and >3 years was in the high category, and there were no differences the significant hopelessness of female convicts in terms of the criminal period served. (2) Hopelessness of female prisoners based on the intensity of family visit in the never visited are in the high category, in the group rarely in the very high category, and in the group often in the very high category, and there is no significant difference in the hopelessness of female prisoners in terms of the intensity of family visits. (3) There is no hopelessness of female prisoners in terms of the criminal period served and the intensity of concurrent family visit. Therefore we need guidance and counseling services to help alleviate hopelessness and parent support for female prisoners.

Abstract

This was is descriptiveresearch which is aimed at revealing the efforts done by the guidance and counselingteacher to improve the students’ activity in SMP Negeri Kota Padang. In collecting the data, the researcher used guestionnaires which were distributed to the sample 30 students. Based on the result of data analisys, it was revealed that the efforts done by the teacher in improving the students’ activity was in very good category. The percentage of the activity was 82,77%.

Abstract

This study departs from the anxiety in students 'learning and students' motivation in learning. The purpose of this study were to examine the relationship of anxiety in learning with motivation to learn. The study was descriptive correlational. Results showed that there was no significant relationship between anxiety in learning and motivation to learn. Means that the higher the anxiety study, the higher the students' motivation.
