Abstract

Soil surface arthropods are soil arthropods that reside and act on the surface of the soil. One of the terrestrial areas that is a habitat for ground-level arthropods is a rubber plantation in Senamat Village, Pelepat District, Muaro Bungo Regency, Jambi Province. This research aims to determine the types of surface arthropods in the rubber plantation. This research is descriptive research. Soil surface Arthropod sampling was carried out in August 2024 using 30 Pitfall Trap traps installed randomly (Random sampling) and measurements (Temperature, pH and soil water content) were carried out directly in the field. The samples obtained were identified based on the body morphology of the Arthropods. The trapped arthropods were 34 species from 11 orders of 27 families, namely Oniscus asellus, Julus virgatus, Polydesmus serratus, Lycosa sp. Oedothorax apicatus, Oxyopes salticus, Herpyllus ecclesiasticus, Latrodectus sp., Pseudoparonella sp., Oncopodura tiegsi, Acanthurella sp., Entomobrya sp., Blattella germanica, Hemithyrsocera palliata, Alydus eurinus, Cofana spectra, Xylosandrus crassiusculu, Canthidium multipunctatum, Canthidium sp.1, Canthidium sp.2, Calosoma scrutator, Trigonotarsus rugosus, Titanolabis colossea, Myara aperta, Teleogryllus commodus, Gryllus assimilis, Dolichopus pugil, Sepsisoma flavescens, Asphondylia sp.1, Scelio sp., Tetramorium facificum, and Oecophylla smaragdina.

Abstract

Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit PT PANP Desa VI Koto Selatan Kecamatan Kinali Kabupaten Pasaman Barat, merupakan perkebunan dengan luas 891 ha. Disana banyak ditemukan vegetasi dasar, untuk mengendalikan vegetasi dasar di bawah tegakan kelapa sawit, biasanya dilakukan dua jenis penyemprotan: penyemprotan piringan sebanyak 4 kali dalam setahun dan penyemporotan gawangan sebanyak 3 kali dalam setahun karena dianggap sebagai gulma. Namun, vegetasi dasar sebenarnya memiliki peran penting, seperti melindungi tanah dan air, menyerap CO₂ melalui fotosintesis, serta meningkatkan cadangan karbon di tanah (Yahya dkk., 2022). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis vegetasi dasar diperkebunann kelapa sawit PT PANP Desa VI Koto Selatan Kecamatan Kinali Kabupaten Pasaman Barat dan menghasilkan buku ilmiah populer mengenai jenis-jenis vegetasi dasar di perkebunan kelapa sawit.  Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deksriptif. Penelitian telah dilakukan pada  bulan Februari - Mei 2025. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan di area perkebunana PT PANP Desa VI Koto Selatan Kecamatan Kinali Kabupaten Pasaman Barat dengan menggunakan metode transek ukuran plot 1m x 1m. Dan sampel diidentifikasi di Laboratorium Botani Universitas PGRI Sumatera Barat. Hasil penelitian ditemukan 37 spesies vegetasi dasar yang terdiri dari 2 divisio 22 familia

Abstract

Insects are the class with the largest number of species and the widest distribution in the Animalia kingdom, this is because insects are organisms that are easily found on the earth's surface. Insects are one of the Arthropod classes that have a body divided into caput, thorax and abdomen. This study aims to determine the types of Insects found in the People's Sugarcane Plantation of Nagari Lawang, Matur District, Agam Regency. This study is a descriptive survey study with direct insect sampling in the field using insect nets with (sweeping) and (hand sorting) techniques. Sampling was carried out using the exploration method at 3 different locations with 2 time periods (morning and afternoon). From the research results, 22 species of insects from 7 orders and 16 families were found, consisting of Aspidimorpha deusta, Lygistopterus perfacetus, Neopyrochroa fermoralis, Epilachna admirabilis, Coelophora inaequalis, Cofana subvirencens, Bothrogonia ferruginea, Gonocerus acuteangulata, Tetrix subulata, Valangan nigricornis, Acrida cinirea, Trilophidia annulata, Tessellana tessellata, Musca domestica, Netelia inedita, Vespa affinis, Ypthima baldus, Forsterinaria quantius, Nyctemera baulus, Hypagyrtis esther, Eurema hecabe, dan Orthetrum Sabina.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning process using group discussion methods, lectures and scientific approaches. The ongoing discussion activities have not run well because they are not heterogeneous so that student involvement in group discussions is not optimal. This results in low student learning outcomes. By implementing a direct learning model that is not optimal, it makes student motivation and understanding of the material low. This study aims to determine the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Padlet media on Biology learning outcomes in phase F students at MAN1 West Pasaman (Even Semester 2024/2025). The research method is experimental research. Using two sample classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The learning process in the experimental class uses the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Padlet media while the control class uses a scientific approach. The design used is Randomized Control Group Posttest Only. The sample consists of two classes (experimental and control classes), selected by purposive sampling. The research instrument is in the form of multiple-choice questions through summative assessment. Data were analyzed using the t test. The summative assessment was higher (75.82 > 58.72), there was a significant (t??? > t table). It can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model assisted by Padlet media can improve learning outcomes in the summative assessment of students in phase F of MAN 1 West Pasaman. The implications of this research are: 1) Biology teachers can use the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Padlet media to improve students' biology learning outcomes, 2) Other researchers can apply the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Padlet media to different materials and different variables.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the large number of students who did not do their assignments, did not bring textbooks, this was caused by the low level of student learning independence. This research aims to describe the picture of independent learning of students at SMP N 1 Bayang. This research uses quantitative methods with a descriptive approach. The sample in this study was 131 students at SMP N 1 Bayang who were selected using the starified random sampling technique. Data was obtained using a valid and reliable learning independence questionnaire. The research results show that the learning independence of SMP N 1 Bayang students is generally in the medium category (66.47).

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low level of assertive behavior of students at SMP Negeri 13 Padang. Many factors influence assertive behavior, one of which is self-concept. The self-concept of students at SMP Negeri 13 Padang also experiences problems. Further research was conducted regarding the relationship between self-concept and assertive behavior of students at SMP Negeri 13 Padang. The aims of this research are: (1) to describe students' self-concept; (2) describe students' assertive behavior; (3) examine the relationship between self-concept and assertive behavior of students at SMP Negeri 13 Padang. This research uses quantitative methods with a descriptive approach. The sample in this study was 245 students at SMP Negeri 13 Padang who were selected using a stratified random sampling technique. Data was obtained using self-concept and assertive behavior questionnaires which were valid and reliable. Data processing is carried out using the product moment correlation formula. The results of the research show that the self-concept of students at SMP Negeri 13 Padang is in the sufficient category (63.27%), the assertive behavior of students at SMP Negeri 13 Padang is in the sufficient category (51.02%) and there is a significant relationship between self-concept and assertive behavior with a coefficient (0.447).

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of students who have problems with adjustment, where students have not been able to adjust, violate school regulations, have difficulty adapting to new environments, often play truant, do not comply with dress codes, are not active in participating in lessons and school activities, are alone at school, There are students who still don't know the name of the teacher who teaches in the class and don't know a place in the school environment. The objectives of this research are: : (1) describe the self-concept of students at SMPN 1 Lembah Gumanti; (2) describe the students' adjustment at SMPN 1 Lembah Gumanti; (3) examine the relationship between self-concept and self-adjustment of students at SMPN 1 Lembah Gumanti. This research uses quantitative methods with descriptive correlational research. The sample in this study was 130 class VII students at SMPN 1 Lembah Gumanti. The sampling technique was simple random sampling technique. The instruments used in this research are self-concept instruments and self-adjustment instruments with a Likert scale model. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis, analysis requirements testing, and Pearson product moment correlation test with the help of SPSS version 20. The results of the research show that: (1) students' self-concept is generally in the medium category with a percentage of 52.31%, which means many students in the sample had a moderate self-concept; (2) students' self-adjustment is generally in the medium category with a percentage of 39.23%, which means that many students in the sample have moderate self-adjustment; (3) there is a significant positive relationship between self-concept and self-adjustment of students at SMPN 1 Lembah Gumanti with a correlation coefficient of 0.701 at a significance level of 0.000. This means that the higher the self-concept, the higher the student's self-adjustment and vice versa. Based on the research results that have been obtained, it is hoped that guidance and counseling teachers can play an active role in efforts to improve the self-concept and self-adjustment of junior high school students by providing assistance in the form of services related to self-concept and self-adjustment. The services that can be provided are information services, individual counseling services, group guidance services and group counseling services.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and academic stress in students at SMP N 10 Padang. This research is motivated by the behavior of students who show symptoms of academic stress such as not focusing on studying, often feeling anxious when facing unfinished learning problems and the pressure they feel while studying. This research aims to reveal the phenomenon of self-efficacy and academic stress and describe the picture that occurs and determine the relationship between self-efficacy and academic stress. This research uses quantitative methods through a correlational descriptive approach. The sample for this research was 256 students using Stratified Random Sampling techniques. Obtaining data in this research uses the Pearson Product Moment correlation formula. The results of the research show that (1) the self-efficacy of students at SMP N 10 Padang is in the medium category with an average score of 84.33 (67.3%), (2) the students' academic stress is in the medium category with an average score of 79 .64 (60.54%) and (3) there is a significant negative relationship between self-efficacy and academic stress in students at SMP N 10 Padang with a correlation of -0.608. This means that the higher the self-efficacy, the lower the student's academic stress, and vice versa. Based on the research results, teachers are asked to play an active role in efforts to increase students' self-efficacy and reduce students' academic stress by providing service assistance and counseling to students. The services provided include information services, individual counseling services, group guidance services and group counseling services.

Abstract

The existence of students with poor self-esteem those who doubt their own skills, are timid when speaking in front of the class, experience fear and anxiety when confronted with challenges, and minimize their abilities was the driving force for this study. (1) To describe the self-esteem of SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Padang students; (2) to describe the peer pressure that students at SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Padang experience; and (3) to determine whether there is a relationship between peer pressure and students' self-esteem. Descriptive and correlational models are used in this kind of quantitative study. Using the stratified random selection approach, 111 students were selected from the 153 students enrolled at SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Padang during the 2024–2025 academic year, which served as the study's population. A self-esteem measure and a peer pressure scale were utilized to collect data for this study. With the aid of SPSS version 20, the data was processed using descriptive analytic methods and Pearson product moment correlation analysis. According to the study's findings, (1) students' self-esteem falls into the low category (42.34%), (2) students' experiences of peer pressure fall into the high category (45.05%), and (3) correlation analysis reveals a significant and negative relationship between peer pressure (X) and students' self-esteem (Y), with a significance level of 0.000 ˂ 0.05 at a weak relationship level, or -0.329. The findings of this negative and significant connection suggest that students' self-esteem tends to decrease with increasing peer pressure and increase with decreasing peer pressure. According to the study's findings, BK instructors and counselors may offer subject mastery services that include resources on enhancing social skills as well as individual and group therapy.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini dirancang berdasarkan hasil analisis empiris terhadap kompetensi Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) konselor Indonesia yang menunjukkan bahwa tingkat TPACK konselor secara keseluruhan masih rendah, dengan skor rata-rata 40,67 dari skala 100. Kelemahan paling mencolok ditemukan pada aspek Pedagogical Knowledge (PK) dengan skor 33,01, Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) dengan skor 43,61, dan Content Knowledge (CK) dengan skor 48,66. Temuan riset inilah yang menjadi landasan utama dirancangnya program pengabdian berbasis kebutuhan (evidence-based community service) bersama Musyawarah Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling (MGBK) SMA Kabupaten Agam. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 21 Oktober 2024 di SMK N 1 Tilatang Kamang, melibatkan 45 konselor sekolah dengan pendekatan pelatihan terpadu yang mencakup ceramah, diskusi, dan praktik langsung. Program penguatan difokuskan pada tiga domain: (1) technological knowledge, (2) pedagogical knowledge, dan (3) content knowledge, yang secara bertahap diintegrasikan menjadi kerangka TPACK yang utuh. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman konselor terhadap konsep dan implementasi TPACK, tumbuhnya kesadaran pedagogis tentang pentingnya integrasi teknologi dalam layanan BK, serta perubahan paradigma dari layanan konvensional menuju layanan digital yang lebih kreatif dan inovatif. Program ini menegaskan bahwa penguatan kompetensi profesional konselor tidak dapat dilakukan secara parsial, melainkan membutuhkan pendekatan terintegrasi yang berkelanjutan dan berbasis bukti empiris.
