Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of mindfulness dhikr breathing therapy on the quality of life among individuals suffering from insomnia. This study involved forty-seven participants who were randomly allocated into three groups: mindfulness dhikr breathing (MDB), progressive muscle relaxation (PMR), and a Control group that did not receive any treatment. The participants were adults aged between 20 and 35 years, with 78.72% female and 21.28% male. Among the participants, 91.49% were students, while 8.51% were employees. The treatment period spanned 28 days, with four sessions conducted every Saturday. The primary outcome measure was the assessment of the quality of life, which was evaluated using a valid and reliable World Health Organization-Quality of Life (WHOQOL) BREF questionnaire. Statistical analysis involved the utilization of various tests, including paired t-tests, Wilcoxon tests, independent t-tests, Mann-Whitney tests, and one-way ANOVA tests. Significant differences were observed in the effects of the three intervention groups on overall QoL (p=.035), general health (p=.008), physical well-being (p=.006), psychological well-being (p=.000), and environmental factors (p=.007), except for the social relationship domain (p=.269). However, no significant differences were found in the effects of MDB and PMR treatments on overall QoL (p=.922), general health (p=.756), physical well-being (p=.497), psychological well-being (p=.883), social relationships (p=.569), and environmental factors (p=.618). In conclusion, mindfulness dhikr breathing therapy has demonstrated its effectiveness in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with insomnia. It holds the potential to serve as a suitable alternative to commonly used insomnia therapies, such as progressive muscle relaxation.

Abstract

Keywords : Non Tariff Barrier, Technical Barrier to Trade,   Hang Tag, Pelabelan Identitas  Budaya

Abstract

The body's iron levels may become insufficient when one is not in the habit of having breakfast, potentially resulting in anemia among adolescents. Online nutrition education on anemia serves as a means to enhance knowledge and breakfast habits among adolescent girls. This study aimed to determine the effect of online nutrition education on anemia on adolescent girls’ breakfast habits. The study design was a cluster randomized trial (CRTs). The subjects were randomly assigned to the treatment group (n = 99) or the control group (n = 101). Research data were collected at SMP Negeri 5 Sukoharjo and SMP Negeri 2 Sukoharjo, which were selected through simple random sampling from March to December 2022. Online nutrition education was directed for six sessions over two weeks with a 1-month reflection. Data on breakfast habits were collected using the Food Record form and analyzed using the Mann–Whitney test. No improvement in breakfast habits was observed in either group. There was no difference in breakfast habits among adolescent girls in the treatment group, who received nutritional education about anemia, and in the control group, who did not (p=0,174). In conclusion, online nutrition education has not been sufficient to improve breakfast habits among adolescent girls.

Abstract

This study has two objectives, namely compiling and analyzing vulnerability indexes of business unit, and analyzing key success variables for food and beverage industries after the COVID-19 pandemic. The analysis tool used in this study is business vulnerability analysis. The vulnerability analysis is derived from the vulnerability index to the COVID-19 threat, which is collected from all aspect indicator values of MSMEs' vulnerability to the COVID-19 theeat. These values consist of exposure, sensitivity, and adaptive capacity. The results of the study explain that food and beverage MSMEs are categorized into medium vulnerability to the threat of COVID-19, where sensitivity is the highest influence aspect as a determinant of the vulnerability level. Due in part to the high number of MSMEs that are sensitive to the threat of COVID-19 and lack the ability to adjust, there may have been a fall in sales and bankruptcy of food and beverage MSMEs during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Obesity is a health problem that can occur in various circles, including adolescents. The prevalence of obesity in adolescents continues to increase, although various efforts have been made to prevent and control obesity. Health education with the lecture method is less effective to be applied to today's youth. Therefore, one of the educational methods provided is the provision of education through animated videos that can attract the attention of teenagers so that messages can be conveyed and increase adolescent knowledge. This educational activity will be held in September 2022 in the PK Al Kautsar Kartasura Junior High School Hall. The participants of this activity were 51 teenagers consisting of grades 8 and 9. Nutrition education began with giving a pretest, then continued with the provision of material containing indicators of obesity, causes, impacts and how to prevent obesity with animated video media, to see the increase in knowledge, students were given posttest and discussion and question and answer. Increased knowledge about anemia that occurred in 40 adolescents, while 11 adolescents did not experience an increase. The average increase in knowledge is 29.67 points. This increase in knowledge shows that providing education by presenting animated videos can be effective in increasing adolescent knowledge. Therefore, the parties suggest that similar activities can be carried out regularly to increase their knowledge of the health of their students.
