Abstract

The problem of racism can occur anywhere and anytime, including in the Premier League. With so many clubs and fans around the world, the Premier League is prone to racism from players, spectators, to fanatical fans. To minimize racism, the English League held an anti-racism campaign with the theme 'No Room For Racism' which used attractive typography visuals and meeting fonts that were rarely used. The purpose of this study is to analyze visual elements to assess the effectiveness of the visual use of typography in  the 'No Room For Racism' campaign  from the perspective of visual communication design. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques, documentation, and analysis through aesthetic theory and semiotics. The results of the study show that the visual form of the logo of the "No Rooms for Racism" campaign  has applied the principles of graphic design well. The resulting works have high aesthetic value and are interesting to observe. However, based on an analysis of typography principles, the logo puts aside the legibility aspect and prioritizes the attractive visual aspect. The study provides a better understanding of how typography visuals affect messaging in social campaigns and offers ways to improve readability without sacrificing visual appeal in the future. This research shows that the proper use of visual typography in the 'No Room For Racism' campaign  can raise awareness and influence public attitudes towards racism, with attractive and different designs capable of attracting attention and influencing audience perceptions.Keywords: campaign, typography, visual communication designAbstrakPermasalahan rasisme bisa terjadi di mana saja dan kapan saja, termasuk di Liga Inggris. Dengan banyaknya klub dan penggemar di seluruh dunia, Liga Inggris rentan terhadap rasisme dari pemain, penonton, hingga penggemar fanatik. Untuk meminimalisir rasisme, Liga Inggris mengadakan kampanye anti rasisme dengan tema ˜No Room For Racism™ yang menggunakan visual tipografi menarik dan font rapat yang jarang digunakan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis elemen visual untuk menilai efektivitas penggunaan visual tipografi dalam kampanye ˜No Room For Racism™ dari perspektif desain komunikasi visual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data dokumentasi dan analisis melalui teori estetika dan semiotika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk visual logo dari kampanye œNo Rooms for Racism telah menerapkan prinsip-prinsip desain grafis dengan baik. Karya yang dihasilkan memiliki nilai estetis yang tinggi dan menarik untuk diamati. Namun, berdasarkan analisis prinsip tipografi, logo tersebut mengesampingkan aspek keterbacaan dan lebih memprioritaskan aspek visual yang menarik. Abstract

The subject of this study is based on article 149 letters (b) Compilation of Islamic law which reads: ex-husband must provide maintenance, maskan, and kiswah to ex-wife during the iddah, unless the ex-wife has been granted talaq bain or nusyuz and is not pregnant. There are two barriers for an ex-wife to earn a living during the period of iddah, namely because the wife is divorced ba'in and or because the ex-wife is nusyuz. In general, the wife filed for divorce in court because she could no longer stand her husband's treatment of her. As a result of the law, if the wife who filed for divorce sues the Court, then the panel of judges will issue a divorce. Unless the husband violates the talaq. In the context of the wife falling into the act of nusyuz, generally as a result of the treatment and conduct of the husband towards the wife. If this is returned to the sound of the law then it will be very felt the injustice received by the wife (ex-wife). This study seeks to find the answer from the formulation of the problem "Why is contra legem important for the judge in deciding the case (inconcritoplaintiff) divorce with the decision of talaq ba'in and or proven in court nusyus wife's arbitrary because of the husband treatment of his wife? Materials and data are obtained by methods library research, the nature of the research is normative research. The goal to be achieved is to provide an alternative solution in providing justice and legal protection to women (ex-wives) who do not get iddah alimony because of filing a lawsuit or nusyus with a theory approach contra legem. Positive law in practice is not sufficiently able to accommodate the legal facts revealed in the Court, in another narrative it can be said that positive law always lags behind social reality. So in the legal system in Indonesia, the judge's ijtihad to deviate and or find the law is accommodated by the principle of Contra legemin order to provide justice and benefits to the community seeking justice, the judge needs to do contra legem.Keywords: Contra Legem; Iddah Livelihood; Divorce Lawsuit; Judge's Decision

Abstract

Child protection is a right that must be obtained by children as it has become their rights as stated in the law. Child protection is a guarantee for its part to be upheld because in the constitution there is a guarantee of human rights, especially if you have been a victim of sexual violence. This article aims to find out how legal protection is for Child Victims of Sexual Violence and from the point of view of Islamic law and psychoanalytic psychology theory, which in the end can become sustainable protection. As a country that has various religions, there is Islam which plays a role in providing enlightenment, which is described in Islamic law with various theories. In addition, psychological impacts occur for children, will affect development so it is necessary to know how efforts must be made in terms of Psychoanalytic Psychology theory for this is an ongoing protection given to children as victims of sexual violence. This study uses a qualitative method with subjects AM (14 years) and MT (12 years) who are victims of sexual violence and stepfather perpetrators. The results of the research are: Legal protection must still be obtained, even though there has been a statement of forgiveness by the child as a victim inasmuch as this is clearly influenced by the psychological energy of anxiety caused by him getting wrong treatment from people who must provide protection to him. Islamic law exists so that children get their rights, including protection, education rights, custody rights, housing rights, the right to make choices, the rights of opinion and rights as children who are the hope of the nation.Keywords: Legal Protection, Child Victims Of Sexual Violence, Continuous Protection Means, Islamic Law, Psychoanalytic Psychological Theories

Abstract

By the development of the times, of course the law will also experience various developments, as well as marriage law in Islam which follows the times according to human needs. The development of marriage law in Islam cannot be separated from the existence of Muslim scholars. Among these Muslim scholars are Wahbah az-Zuhaili and Muhammad Syahrur. Az-Zuhaili uses the Usul fiqh method in interpreting the laws regarding marriage, while Syahrur uses the hermeneutic method in interpreting the laws regarding marriage. The two of them certainly have different opinions, because the way of thinking and the method of interpretation used are different. Therefore, through this study, the two thoughts of these figures will be examined. The results showed that the two figures viewed marriage as a very solid contract. The difference of opinion between the two lies in the discussion of the dowry, where according to az-Zuhaili that the dowry is a gift from the husband to the wife, and the wife has the right to get it because of the contract or actual intercourse, while Syahrur said the dowry is an unconditional gift given by the husband to his wife. Likewise, there are differences of opinion in the provision of a living and in terms of divorce and polygamy.

Abstract

This article aims to find out how the existence of alkhairat media and its role as a da'wah communication channel in the city of Palu. This study used qualitative research methods. The type of data to be collected in this study consists of primary data and secondary data. The primary data in this study were in the form of words or verbal utterances and the behavior of the subject or research informant related to the Alkhairat Media in the city of Palu. The primary data of this study were sourced from informants who were directly related and knew clearly about the problems studied, namely the editors of the Media Alkhairat daily newspaper, Palu City and stakeholders in the city of Palu. While secondary data is data sourced from documents in the form of notes, reports and other forms of documents. Data collection techniques in this study using observation and interview techniques. data analysis techniques using data reduction techniques, data presentation and data verification. The results of this study indicate that the existence of alkhairaat media as a propaganda channel in the city of Palu has the main characteristics, namely; Editorial guide policy Prioritizing local content enriched with regional content, national content, international content, Da'wah content that is more inclusive, tolerant, washatiyah and moderate, has a vision for alkhairaatan as a means of education and empowerment of the community and has a semi-Republican style, meaning mainstream content, but cannot be separated from the corridor of Islamic values. The role of Media Alkhairaat as a propaganda channel in the city of Palu is as a communicator, motivator, reference source and public education.

Abstract

Bantengan art, as part of East Javanese traditional culture, not only functions as entertainment, but also as a medium for social and ideological expression that is full of symbolic meaning. This research aims to analyze the relationship between Bantengan art and the ideology of freedom, with a focus on the Merdeka Banteng Dance as a representation of the spirit of freedom. The Merdeka Bantengan. Dance, one of the important elements in this art, is often associated with the spirit of resistance and freedom. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data was collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews with artists and cultural figures, as well as studying related literature. The analysis was carried out using thematic analysis and semiology methods to understand the symbolism contained in dance movements, costumes and music. The research results show that the Merdeka Bantengan Dance reflects the ideology of freedom through the use of the Bantengan symbol as a representation of strength and resistance to oppression. Through cultural and ideological meaning, the Merdeka Banteng Dance becomes a means of communication and expression of the spirit of freedom that is rooted in Bantengan art. This research provides new insight into how traditional art can function as a mirror of ideology and become a means of social expression in society.   Kesenian Bantengan, sebagai bagian dari budaya tradisional Jawa Timur, tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai hiburan, tetapi juga sebagai media ekspresi sosial dan ideologis yang sarat makna simbolis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara kesenian Bantengan dengan ideologi kebebasan, dengan fokus pada Tari Banteng Merdeka sebagai representasi spirit kebebasan. Tari Banteng Merdeka, salah satu elemen penting dalam kesenian ini, sering diasosiasikan dengan semangat perlawanan dan kebebasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dengan para pelaku kesenian dan budayawan, serta studi literatur terkait. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode analisis tematik dan semiologi untuk memahami simbolisme yang terkandung dalam gerakan tari, kostum, dan musik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tari Banteng Merdeka merefleksikan ideologi kebebasan melalui penggunaan simbol banteng sebagai representasi kekuatan dan perlawanan terhadap penindasan. Melalui pemaknaan budaya dan ideologis, Tari Banteng Merdeka menjadi sarana komunikasi dan ekspresi dari semangat kebebasan yang mengakar dalam kesenian Bantengan. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan baru mengenai bagaimana seni tradisional dapat berfungsi sebagai cermin ideologi dan menjadi alat ekspresi sosial dalam masyarakat.
