Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted to determine the influence of Counseling Services with Self-Management Techniques in improving the discipline of MTs. Sunan Drajat Lamongan students. Student Discipline is the attitude or behavior of students who obey and obey the rules in the school and carry out their duties with full awareness. This research uses quantitative experimental methods with research designs in the form of Quasi Expermental Design. Sampling technique with Purposive Sampling, with 16 study subjects. The data analysis technique in this study is the Mann Whitney U-Test. The results of the analysis show a significant influence of Counseling Services with Self-Management Techniques in improving student discipline. Data analysis showed that before treatment, the experimental group and the control group had the same level of discipline, namely Z = -,317; Asymp. Sig.= ,751. and after being given treatment, a value of Z = -2.371 was obtained; Asymp. Sig.= ,001. From the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that Counseling Services with Self-Management Techniques are effective in improving student discipline. Keywords : Discipline, Self Management, Student Abstrak : Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh layanan konseling dengan Teknik Self-Management dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa MTs. Sunan Drajat Lamongan. Kedisiplinan Siswa merupakan sikap atau tingkah laku siswa yang taat dan patuh akan peraturan yang ada di sekolah dan menjalankan kewaibannya dengan penuh kesadaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif eksperimen dengan desain penelitian yang berbentuk Quasi Expermental Design. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling, dengan subjek penelitian yang berjumlah 16 siswa. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah Uji Mann Whitney U-Test. Hasil dari analisis menunjukan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dari Layanan Konseling dengan Teknik Self-Management dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa. Analisis data menunjukan bahwa sebelum diberikan perlakuan, kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol memiliki tinhgkat kedisiplinan yang sama, yaitu Z = -,317; Asymp. Sig.= ,751. dan setelah diberikan perlakuan, diperoleh nilai Z = -2,371; Asymp. Sig.= ,001. dari hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa Layanan Konseling dengan Teknik Self-Management efektif dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa. Keywords : Kedisiplinan, Self-Management, Siswa

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pola asuh orang tua dalam membantu activity daily living dan faktor pola asuh orang tua dalam membatu activity daily living anak tunagrahita di SLB.C Kemala Bhayangkari 2 Kabupaten Gresik. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 3 orang tua anak tunagrahita di SLB.C Kemala Bhayangkari 2 Kabupaten Gresik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Hubberman. Teknik kredibilitas yang digunakan yaitu triangulasi teknik, triangulasi waktu, dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subjek memiliki pola asuh yang berbeda yaitu otoritatif, otoriter, dan permisif. Semua pola asuh orang tua berasal dari faktor yang sama yaitu sosial ekonomi, pendidikan, dan kepribadian.

Abstract

This study aims to empirically examine the effect of internal locus of control on prosocial behavior in students at SMA Negeri 1 Menganti – Gresik. This study analyzes the data obtained from a sample of 267 people. The measuring scale used is the Sala Internal Locus of Control and the Prosocial Behavior Scale. The statistical analysis method used is simple linear regression analysis. The results show that significance (p) = 0.000 less than 0.05 which means that the internal locus of control has a significant influence on prosocial behavior in students at SMA Negeri 1 Menganti – Gresik with internal influence locus of control on prosocial behavior of 23.1%. The results of the categorization of this study indicate that the subject has a moderate category on prosocial behavior and a moderate category on internal locus of control.

Abstract

Keeping pets is a hobby for many people and having an attachment to pets is also considered beneficial for their owners. This study aims to determine the effect of Pet Attachment on Psychological Well Being. This research uses quantitative methods. Determination of the sample using incidental sampling technique, as many as 105 respondents. Research data were collected by distributing questionnaires on the Pet Attachment Questionnaire (PAQ) scale developed by Zilcha-Mano, Mikulincer dan Shaver (2011) and the Psychological Well Being scale developed by Ryff (1989). The analytical method used is simple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis using a simple linear regression test get a sig value of 0.311, meaning that the significant value is more than > 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is no significant effect between Pet Attachment on the Psychological Well Being of pet owners in Gresik City.

Abstract

Humans have a attach with a place called a place attachment. In this study, researchers aimed to find out the picture of place attachment in the community of the Grave of Sunan Giri which was expressed through feelings and actions carried out. This research used a qualitative method with the subject of the study, namely the community of the Grave of Sunan Giri area which was selected through purposive sampling in accordance with predetermined characteristics so that as many as 5 research subjects were obtained. The collection carried out in this study used interview and observation methods. The credibility of the data used uses source triangulation by comparing the subject's interview data with interviews with significant other. Based on the research conducted, the results were obtained that there was a picture of place attachment in the community of the Grave of Sunan Giri which was shown through the feelings and actions carried out by the subject. The place attachment that occurs in the community Grave of Sunan Giri area is in the form of positive and negative emotions felt during their stay in the Grave of Sunan Giri area and actions to protect the Grave of Sunan Giri area.

Abstract

Dukungan pasangan merupakan salah satu elemen terpenting pada diri individu, karena interaksi pertama dan paling sering dilakukan individu adalah dengan orang terdekat yaitu pasangannya. Bentuk-bentuk dukungan sosial suami yang dapat diberikan kepada isteri adalah adanya kedekatan emosional, berbagi perasaan, perhatian, suami menghargai atas kemampuan dan menerima keadaan isteri, suami dapat diandalkan ketika isteri membutuhkan bantuan, dan suami merupakan tempat bergantung untuk menyelesaikan masalah isteri. Jenis-jenis dukungan sosial suami yang diberikan adalah dukungan informasi, dukungan emosional, dukungan instrumental dan dukungan penilaian. Dengan adanya dukungan suami, segala sesuatu yang tadinya terasa berat menjadi lebih ringan dan membahagiakan. Dukungan sosial suami memberikan pengaruh yang sangat baik untuk meningkatkan keadaan psikologis isteri. Dukungan suami merupakan faktor eksternal yang penting untuk mempertahankan harga diri perempuan pasca operasi pengangkatan payudara, dengan dukungan suami yang diterima, diharapkan harga diri perempuan pasca operasi pengangkatan payudara tidak mengalami gangguan sehingga perempuan tersebut dapat menata kehidupan mendatang dengan penuh percaya diri tanpa masalah yang membebani akibat dari tindakan pasca operasi pengangkatan payudara.

Abstract

Mothers who have children with special needs regarding the meaning of life sometimes struggle to find meaning and purpose in life, leading a mother to approach life with passion, zest for life, far from feeling empty and patient in living life, and the strength to live everyday life to give meaning in his life in the goals to be achieved so that each activity becomes more focused. The purpose of this study is to describe the meaningfulness of life for mothers who have children with special needs. This study used qualitative research methods. This research uses a case study research type. The research subjects in this study were 3 parents who have children with special needs. This study uses a semi-structured in-depth interview method. In this study, the steps taken by researchers were qualitative data analysis according to Miles and Huberman's interactive model, namely data reduction, data modeling, drawing conclusions. In this study the data validity test was carried out by conducting technical triangulation. The results show that the three subjects have significance in everyday life. An overview of meaningfulness in life can be seen from the ability to understand life goals, freedom of desire, attitude towards death, and life satisfaction possessed by mothers who have children with special needs, in this case are mothers who have children with autism, mentally retarded and physically disabled

Abstract

In the process of human education, intelligence has been owned and must be developed. One of the intelligence possessed by humans is linguistic intelligence. Linguistic intelligence is the ability possessed by a person to process words through writing, and expressions as a form of expressing his thoughts. In addition, one of the psychological factors that contribute to student success is self-confidence. In the study of self-confidence, the skills that must be mastered include speaking, listening, writing, and reading. This study aims to empirically prove whether there is a relationship between linguistic intelligence and self-confident students at MA Tarbiyatus Shibyan Sidorejo Panceng Gresik. This research approach uses quantitative research with the type of correlation research. The research subjects were 69—the data collection method used linguistic intelligence and student self-confident questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is the correlation test. The results showed that: There is no relationship between linguistic intelligence and self-confident MA Tarbiyatus Shibyan Sidorejo Panceng Gresik students. This is based on calculations using the person correlation test, the value of Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.044 > 0.05. Because of the value of sig. (2-tailed) is greater than the probability value. The level of linguistic intelligence is in the Medium category, with a minimum score of 51 and a maximum value of 92. As for the level of self-confidence obtained, namely: High with a minimum value of 88 and a maximum value of 148.

Abstract

This researcher aims to examine the effect of peer support on the adjustment of students at the Al-Adawiyyah Islamic boarding school for the daughter of Sunan Drajat. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach with a simple linear regression type of research. The research sample was 65 in the al-adawwiyyah dormitory of the Sunan Drajat Islamic boarding school. The instrument of this study used a peer social support scale and a self-adjustment scale. The data analysis technique used statistics and hypothesis testing using a simple linear regression test. It begins with the assumption test, the Kolmogrov-Smirnov normality test and the linearity test. Based on the table of the results of the regression coefficient test, it can be seen that the value of t = 0.163, in addition to the Sig column or the independent significance variables and constants, the significance level is below 0.05. It can be obtained from the results of the R Square value or the value of the coefficient of determination of 0.553 or 55.3%. This means that peer social support has a significant effect on self- adjustment. In knowing how much the variables of peer social support affect the adjustment variable in the al-adawiyyah boarding school students of the Sunan Drajat Islamic boarding school. The subject level is in the medium category, as many as 5 students with a percentage of 8%. Meanwhile, the subject in the high category was 60 students with a percentage of 92%. In the peer social support scale, none of them fall into the low category. Through this norm, it can be seen that the subjects in this study were students who had significantly high peer social support, but the subjects tended to have peer social support.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of school well-being on student motivation at Madrasah Aliyah Ma’arif 7 Sunan Drajat Lamongan. The hypothesis proposed is that there is an effect of school well-being on student motivation at Madrasah Aliyah Ma’arif 7 Sunan Drajat Lamongan. The subjects in this study were 150 students at Madrasah Aliyah Ma’arif 7 Sunan Drajat Lamongan. Taking the subject using purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique uses a school well-being level measurement tool and a learning motivation measurement tool that is arranged with a modified likert scale model. The analysis technique used to analized the data in this study is Simple Linier Regression with SPSS statistical programe. The result showed that the value of R square or the coefficient of determination was 0,565 from school well-being variable. The R square value of 0,565 indicate the effect of the independent variable (school well-being) on the dependent variable (learning motivation) of 56,5% while the remaining 43,5% is influenced by other variabels not examined.
