Abstract

Kue Sabongi merupakan salah satu produk pangan yang memiliki potensi besar dalam meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat, khususnya di Motilango. Dalam konteks ini, penting untuk memahami bagaimana pengembangan produk lokal seperti Kue Sabongi dapat memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat. Dengan demikian, pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi masyarakat Desa Motilango dalam pengembangan usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah yang berbasis pada Kue Sabongi, yang tidak hanya mengedepankan aspek produksi tetapi juga pemasaran dan pengemasan. Pendampingan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan masyarakat dalam memproduksi Kue Sabongi yang memiliki nilai jual tinggi. Metode yang diterapkan dalam pengabdian ini adalah pendekatan partisipatif, di mana masyarakat dilibatkan secara aktif dalam setiap tahap proses produksi. Hasil dari pendampingan ini menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat tidak hanya mampu memproduksi Kue Sabongi secara mandiri, tetapi juga memahami pentingnya aspek pemasaran dan pengemasan yang menarik. Dalam hal ini, pengemasan produk menjadi salah satu faktor kunci yang dapat mempengaruhi keputusan konsumen untuk membeli. Oleh karena itu, dalam pengabdian ini, masyarakat diajarkan cara mendesain kemasan yang menarik serta mencantumkan informasi yang relevan mengenai produk. Dengan demikian, diharapkan produk ini dapat menjadi salah satu sumber pendapatan baru bagi masyarakat Desa Motilango. Selain itu, pengembangan Kue Sabongi juga berpotensi untuk meningkatkan daya saing produk lokal di pasar yang lebih luas. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi masyarakat untuk terus berinovasi dan beradaptasi dengan tren pasar yang berkembang. Sabongi Cake is one of the food products that has great potential in improving the economy of the community, especially in Motilango. In this context, it is important to understand how the development of local products such as Sabongi Cake can have a significant impact on community welfare. Thus, this community service aims to assist the Motilango Village community in developing micro, small, and medium enterprises based on Sabongi Cake, which not only prioritizes production aspects but also marketing and packaging. This assistance is expected to improve community skills in producing Sabongi Cake which has high selling value. The method applied in this community service is a participatory approach, where the community is actively involved in every stage of the production process. The results of this assistance show that the community is not only able to produce Sabongi Cake independently, but also understands the importance of marketing aspects and attractive packaging. In this case, product packaging is one of the key factors that can influence consumer decisions to buy. Therefore, in this community service, the community teaches how to design attractive packaging and include relevant information about the product. Thus, it is hoped that this product can become a new source of income for the Motilango Village community. In addition, the development of Sabongi Cake also has the potential to increase the competitiveness of local products in a wider market. Therefore, it is important for the community to continue to innovate and adapt to developing market trends.

Abstract

Desa Motilango memiliki potensi sumber daya alam berupa pisang pagata yang melimpah. Namun, pemanfaatannya masih terbatas pada penjualan sebagai bahan mentah, sehingga tidak memberikan nilai tambah yang signifikan. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat melalui pelatihan pembuatan keripik pisang guna meningkatkan nilai ekonomi produk lokal. Kegiatan ini menerapkan metode partisipatif yang melibatkan ibu-ibu Dasawisma sebagai mitra lokal dalam seluruh tahapan, mulai dari observasi kondisi desa, pelatihan pembuatan keripik, pendampingan produksi, hingga pelatihan pengemasan dan pemasaran. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan masyarakat dalam menghasilkan keripik pisang dalam tiga varian rasa, serta kemampuan dalam pengemasan dan pemasaran produk. Beberapa peserta bahkan telah berhasil memasarkan produknya di pasar lokal. Kegiatan ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat dan mendorong pertumbuhan UMKM berbasis potensi lokal. Motilango Village has abundant natural resource potential in the form of pagata bananas. However, its utilization is still limited to sales as raw materials, so it does not provide significant added value. To overcome this, community service activities were carried out through banana chip making training to increase the economic value of local products. This activity applies a participatory method that involves Dasawisma mothers as local partners in all stages, starting from observing village conditions, chip making training, production assistance, to packaging and marketing training. The results of the activity showed an increase in community skills in producing banana chips in three flavors, as well as the ability to package and market products. Several participants have even succeeded in marketing their products in the local market. This activity is expected to increase community income and encourage the growth of MSMEs based on local potential.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership and organizational culture on the job promotion of civil servants at the Regional Office of the National Land Agency in Gorontalo Province, with work commitment as a mediating variable. A quantitative research method with a descriptive design was employed, using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) for data analysis. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 71 selected employees using purposive sampling. The results show that leadership has a positive and significant effect on work commitment, and organizational culture also exerts a positive and significant influence. Although leadership does not have a direct significant effect on job promotion, work commitment is found to significantly mediate the relationship between leadership and job promotion. Organizational culture has a positive impact on job promotion both directly and indirectly through work commitment. The study concludes that job promotion should be based on an objective and transparent merit system, supported by the development of positive leadership and organizational culture. These findings are expected to contribute to the advancement of human resource management in the public sector, particularly in enhancing the effectiveness of job promotion processes.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to analyze and describe the management of school archives. Research uses a qualitative approach, because the qualitative approach utilizes direct data sources in a natural context (natural setting) to reveal various aspects of observed phenomena. The type of research applied is descriptive research that aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the situation and conditions of a particular phenomenon. The results showed that archive management at SMP Negeri 6 Satu Atap Dulupi still has many obstacles. From the policy specs, there are still limited human resources specifically in the field of archives, lack of understanding of records management among teachers, and poorly structured organization of archives causing records management to be ineffective. Furthermore, looking at the determinants of records management, the results of the study show that financial management is not optimal, limitations of digital management, limitations of physical storage, and lack of a structured management system. Increased understanding, utilization of technology, the role of stakeholders, more focused supervision, and increased structuring in managing archives are needed to increase their efficiency and effectiveness.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how effective the application of fingerprint attendance is in improving employee work discipline at the Gorontalo City Regional Secretariat Office.  Judging from several indicators such as (1) Target Achievement (2) Adaptability (3) Job Satisfaction (4) Responsibility. The type of research used is the qualitative research method, which is a form of research that aims to provide a general overview in the form of data collected from the field for the purpose of descriptive research. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation directly in the field. The results of this research show that achieving targets when implementing finger print attendance can be said to be effective, this can be seen in employees from the increased level of attendance compared to still using manual attendance, and it also makes it easier for employees to carry out the attendance process. In addition to the adaptability of Gorontalo City regional secretariat office employees, employees already understand the procedures and use of attendance fingerprints and are able to adapt from manual attendance to fingerprint attendance. Then job satisfaction for Gorontalo City regional secretariat employees has provided comfort in terms of usefulness and increased employee motivation with additional incentives for employees.  Meanwhile, it can be said that the responsibilities of the Gorontalo City regional secretariat employees are still not optimal because there are still some employees who only take attendance but after that are not in the room without leaving clear information. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Efektivitas Penerapan Absensi Finger Print Dalam Meningkatkkan Disiplin Kerja Pegawai Pada Kantor Sekretariat Daerah Kota Gorontalo.  Dilihat dari beberapa indikator seperti (1) Pencapaian Target (2) Kemampuan Adaptasi (3) Kepuasan Kerja (4) Tanggung Jawab. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif yaitu suatu bentuk penelitian yang bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran umum berupa data yang dikumpulkan dari lapangan secara objektif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi secara langsung dilapangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa untuk pencapaian target pada saat penerapan absensi finger print ini sudah bisa dikatakan efektif, hal ini dapat dilihat pada pegawai dari tingkat kehadirannya yang meningkat dibandingkan masih menggunakan absensi manual selain itu juga memudahkan pegawai dalam melakukan proses absensi. Selanjutnya kemampuan adaptasi pegawai kantor sekretariat daerah kota gorontalo, pegawai sudah mengerti tata cara dan penggunaan absensi finger print serta mampu menyesuaikan diri dari absensi manual ke absensi finger print. Kemudian kepuasan kerja bagi pegawai sekretariat daerah kota gorontalo sudah memberikan kenyamanan dalam hal penggunaannya dan meningkatnya motivasi pegawai dengan adanya penambahan insentif kepada pegawai. Sedangkan tanggung jawab dari para pegawai sekretariat daerah kota gorontalo bisa dikatakan belum maksimal karena masih ada beberapa pegawai yang hanya melakukan absensi tetapi setelah itu tidak berada di dalam ruangan tanpa meninggalkan keterangan yang jelas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh profesionalisme birokrasi terhadap kinerja aparatur pada Badan Perencanaan Penelitian Pengembangan Daerah Kota Gorontalo. Dalam konteks pemerintahan, profesionalisme birokrasi dapat diartikan sebagai kemampuan, kompetensi, dan sikap positif yang dimiliki oleh pegawai negeri dalam menjalankan tugas dan fungsi mereka. Hal ini sangat penting untuk memastikan bahwa pelayanan publik berjalan dengan baik dan efisien. Dalam penelitian ini, pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode ex-post facto. Metode ini dipilih karena peneliti ingin melihat hubungan antara variabel yang sudah ada tanpa melakukan manipulasi pada variabel tersebut. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner yang dirancang untuk mengukur tingkat profesionalisme birokrasi serta kinerja aparatur. Dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 59 orang yang diperoleh dari teknik total sampling, penelitian ini berusaha memberikan gambaran yang representatif tentang kondisi yang ada. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Metode ini memungkinkan peneliti untuk mengevaluasi sejauh mana variabel profesionalisme birokrasi dapat mempengaruhi kinerja aparatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profesionalisme birokrasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja aparat Badan Perencanaan Penelitian Pengembangan Daerah Kota Gorontalo sebesar 43%. Ini berarti bahwa peningkatan dalam profesionalisme birokrasi dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan kinerja aparatur. Sebagai contoh, jika seorang pegawai negeri memiliki pengetahuan yang baik tentang prosedur dan regulasi yang berlaku, serta mampu berkomunikasi dengan baik, maka ia akan lebih mampu menyelesaikan tugasnya dengan efektif. Selain itu, kinerja yang baik juga dapat mendorong pegawai lain untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme mereka, menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang lebih produktif. This study aims to determine the effect of bureaucratic professionalism on the performance of the apparatus at the Regional Development Planning Agency of Gorontalo City. In the context of government, bureaucratic professionalism can be interpreted as the ability, competence, and positive attitude possessed by civil servants in carrying out their duties and functions. This is very important to ensure that public services run well and efficiently. In this study, the approach used is a quantitative approach with the ex-post facto method. This method was chosen because the researcher wanted to see the relationship between existing variables without manipulating the variables. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire designed to measure the level of bureaucratic professionalism and apparatus performance. With a sample size of 59 people obtained from the total sampling technique, this study attempts to provide a representative picture of the existing conditions. Data analysis in this study used simple linear regression. This method allows researchers to evaluate the extent to which the variable of bureaucratic professionalism can affect the performance of the apparatus. The results of the study indicate that bureaucratic professionalism has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the apparatus of the Gorontalo City Regional Development Research Planning Agency by 43%. This means that an increase in bureaucratic professionalism can contribute to improving the performance of the apparatus. For example, if a civil servant has good knowledge of applicable procedures and regulations, and is able to communicate well, then he will be better able to complete his duties effectively. In addition, good performance can also encourage other employees to improve their professionalism, creating a more productive work environment.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the impact of leadership and work discipline on employee performance at the regional office of the Gorontalo provincial ministry of trust. The research approach used in this research is quantitative, where the sample in this research is 35 employees using a research approach and research design. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires or questionnaires to the data analysis technique used was multiple regression analysis. The results of the regression analysis test indicate the influence of leadership and work discipline on employee performance in the regional office of the Gorontalo provincial ministry of trust. Using this, the first hypothesis (H1) can be demonstrated or accepted. The R Square value is 0.412, in other words, 41.2% of the independent variables, namely (X1) Leadership, (X2) work discipline contribute to the variable (Y) employee performance, while the balance is 58.8% in the form of donations from other variables not examined in this research. The results of the regression analysis test show the influence of leadership and work discipline on employee performance in the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion, Gorontalo Province. Thus the first hypothesis (H1) can be proven or accepted. The R Square value is 0.412, in other words, 41.2% of the independent variables, namely (X1) Leadership, (X2) Work Discipline contribute to the variable (Y) Employee Performance, while the remaining 58.8% is in the form of contributions from other variables not examined in this research. Penelitian ini bertujuan buat mengetahui imbas kepemimpinan dan disiplin Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai pada kantor daerah kementerian kepercayaan provinsi Gorontalo. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif, dimana sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 35 orang pegawai dengan memakai pendekatan penelitian serta desain penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara menyebarkan angket atau kuesioner kepada teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda. Hasil uji analisis regresi yang menandakan pengaruh kepemimpinan serta Disiplin Kerja Terhadap Kinerja pegawai di kantor daerah kementerian kepercayaan provinsi Gorontalo. Menggunakan demikian hipotesis pertama (H1) dapat ditunjukan atau diterima. Nilai R Square sebesar 0,412 dengan kata lain itu sebanyak 41,2% dari variable bebas yaitu (X1) Kepemimpinan, (X2) disiplin kerja memberikan donasi buat variable (Y) kinerja pegawai, adapun keseimbangan sebanyak 58,8% berupa donasi dari variabel lain yang tidak diteliti pada penelitian ini. Hasil uji analisis regresi yang menunjukan Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Dan Disiplin Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Di Kantor Wilayah Kementerian Agama Provinsi Gorontalo. Dengan demikian hipotesis pertama (H1) dapat dibuktikan atau diterima. Nilai R Square sebesar 0,412 dengan kata lain bahwa sebesar 41,2% dari variable bebas yaitu (X1) Kepemimpinan, (X2) Disiplin Kerja memberikan kontribusi untuk variable (Y) Kinerja Pegawai, adapun sisanya sebesar 58,8% berupa kontribusi dari variable lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the dynamics of women's leadership in the governance of private universities in Gorontalo Province, focusing on the challenges, strategies, and their contributions to the quality of management of higher education institutions. Although the discourse of gender equality is increasingly strengthening in the world of education, the representation of women in strategic positions is still relatively limited. A qualitative approach was used with a case study method through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document review in a number of private universities in Gorontalo. The results of the study indicate that women leaders have high adaptive capacity, build collaborative leadership models, and play an important role in driving institutional innovation. However, they still face various structural barriers, including gender stereotypes, patriarchal culture, and lack of internal policy support. This study concludes that empowering women's leadership not only has an impact on more inclusive and responsive governance, but also on improving the academic quality and governance of universities as a whole. The implications of these findings encourage the need for affirmative policies and institutional cultural transformation to strengthen participation in higher education leadership structures.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT TASPEN Cabang Gorontalo. Dalam konteks ini, motivasi kerja dapat diartikan sebagai dorongan yang dimiliki individu untuk melakukan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya di tempat kerja. Motivasi ini sangat penting karena berhubungan langsung dengan produktivitas dan kualitas pelayanan yang diberikan oleh karyawan. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk mengkaji lebih dalam bagaimana motivasi kerja dapat mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan, terutama di perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang pelayanan seperti PT TASPEN. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdianini adalah observasi dan studi kasus selama Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Profesi. Hasil dari pengabdianini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara motivasi kerja dan kinerja karyawan. Karyawan yang memiliki motivasi tinggi cenderung menunjukkan produktivitas yang lebih baik serta memberikan pelayanan yang berkualitas kepada nasabah.  Salah satu poin utama yang perlu diperhatikan adalah bagaimana lingkungan kerja dapat mempengaruhi motivasi karyawan. Dalam pengamatan yang dilakukan, ditemukan bahwa lingkungan kerja di PT TASPEN Cabang Gorontalo terbilang cukup nyaman. Namun, kenyamanan ini justru dapat menjadi bumerang jika tidak diimbangi dengan tantangan yang memadai. Lingkungan kerja yang terlalu nyaman dapat membuat karyawan merasa stagnan dan kurang termotivasi untuk meningkatkan kinerja mereka. This community service project aims to investigate the effect of work motivation on employee performance at the PT TASPEN Gorontalo Branch. Work motivation refers to the drive individuals have to fulfill their duties and responsibilities in the workplace. This motivation is crucial as it directly affects employee productivity and the quality of service provided. Therefore, it is essential to explore how work motivation affects employee performance, particularly in service-oriented companies like PT TASPEN. The methods employed in this project include observation and case studies conducted during the Professional Community Service Program (internship). The findings indicate a significant relationship between work motivation and employee performance. Highly motivated employees typically exhibit greater productivity and deliver higher-quality service to customers.  One noteworthy aspect to consider is the effect of the work environment on employee motivation. Observations reveal that the work environment at PT TASPEN Gorontalo Branch is comfortable. However, this comfort can be counterproductive if not balanced with adequate challenges. An overly comfortable work environment may lead to feelings of stagnation and reduced motivation to enhance performance.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the community-based drinking water supply and sanitation program (PAMSIMAS) in Telaga Biru District, Gorontalo Regency, focusing on three villages: Modelidu, Ulapato A, and Ulapato B. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that the effectiveness of the program varies in each village, namely Modelidu and Ulapato A villages, the program has not been fully effective due to weak institutional management, low community participation, and limited infrastructure maintenance. Meanwhile, Ulapato B village shows successful program implementation with routine maintenance, good water quality, and active community participation. These findings indicate that the sustainability of the program is highly dependent on community participation, strengthening village institutions, and ongoing technical and policy support. This study recommends revitalizing management institutions and increasing community capacity as keys to the effectiveness of the community-based drinking water supply and sanitation program (PAMSIMAS) in rural areas.
