Abstract

This study attempts to discuss the influence of the PAIKEM Learning Model in learning aqidah akhlak in improving student learning motivation and student learning outcomes at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Lahat. To find answers to these problems, the author conducted a study using quantitative research methods. The sample was divided into two, namely the control class and the experimental class. The control class used textbooks as learning resources for learning aqidah akhlak, while the experimental class used the PAIKEM Learning Model. From the research data that the author found, the majority of grade VIII students liked and accepted the delivery of aqidah akhlak lessons using the PAIKEM Learning Model, the learning motivation of students who used the PAIKEM Learning Model had an average of 39.73 and those who did not use the PAIKEM Learning Model 30.61, there was an increase of 29.80% from the class that did not use the PAIKEM Learning Model. The average student learning outcomes were 82.83 while the class that did not use the PAIKEM Learning Model was 63.02. Thus, there was an increase of 31% from the class that did not use the PAIKEM Learning Model. Likewise, in class VII students who use the PAIKEM Learning Model have an average learning motivation of 39.12 and classes that do not use 35.57 there is an increase of 10.83% from classes that do not use the PAIKEM Learning Model. The learning outcomes of students who use the PAIKEM Learning Model are higher than classes that do not use the PAIKEM Learning Model, namely an average value of 70.19 while classes that do not use the PAIKEM Learning Model are 60 thus there is an increase of 24.26% from classes that do not use the PAIKEM Learning Model. Thus it can be concluded that the learning system using the PAIKEM Learning Model media (new method) can be used for the learning process of aqidah akhlak at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Lahat, and the new method (using the PAIKEM Learning Model) is better than the old method (without the PAIKEM Learning Model).

Abstract

In line with the development of the times, MTsN 1 Lahat and MTsN 3 Lahat have implemented the tahfidz program of juz 30. This tahfidz program of juz 30 is a superior program adopted by the Ministry of Religion as a form of habituation for students to memorize the Al-Qur'an, especially for juz 30. This program must be followed by all students from grade VII to grade IX. The target to be achieved is to make graduates of this junior high school as memorizers of the Al-Qur'an juz 30. The objectives of this study are, 1) To analyze the implementation of the tahfidz program of Al-Qur'an juz 30 at MTs N 1 Lahat and MTs N 3 Lahat. 2) To analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the tahfidz program of Al-Qur'an juz 30 at MTsN 1 Lahat and MTsN 3 Lahat. Meanwhile, the type of research used in this study is a qualitative research type in the form of a multi-site study approach at MTs N 1 Lahat and MTs N 3 Lahat. The results of this study are, first, in the implementation of memorizing the Al-Quran juz 30 which is held every Friday at MTs N 1 Lahat, the talaqqi method is applied. This method includes various other approaches such as the bi nazhar method which involves looking at the mushaf, as well as tahfidz which focuses on memorization. After students memorize, they will submit their memorization to the instructor with a maximum limit of 5 verses. Second, the Implementation of the Al-Qur'an Juz 30 Memorization Program with the Muraja'ah Method and Supporting and Inhibiting Factors at MTs N 3 Lahat. By carrying out memorization and deposit every day, as well as doing tashih every week to repeat memorization and assess the extent of reading fluency, tahfidz becomes very effective.

Abstract

Trucuk Subdistrict in Bojonegoro Regency, Indonesia, possesses considerable agricultural potential, yet its productivity remains limited due to inefficient irrigation systems. Damaged irrigation networks have led to inadequate water distribution, which indicates the importance of effective operation and maintenance strategies. This study aims to assess the existing condition of the Trucuk Irrigation Area (DI Trucuk) and determine management priorities to ensure a reliable water supply for agricultural land. A quantitative approach was employed using evaluative and management priority analysis, focusing on key irrigation components such as main buildings, control buildings, and secondary and tertiary canals. The results reveal that several irrigation channels, particularly GYN-5 and SRK-12, are severely damaged, with respective damage scores of 0.46 and 0.42. Although some channels, including GYN-5, SRK-12, and GYN-2, recorded the highest functional values, they were still poorly functioning. Based on a priority analysis, rehabilitation of GYN-5, GYN-2, SRK-12, and SRK-11 is recommended. Additionally, routine and regular maintenance of other irrigation channels and buildings is needed to ensure efficient and effective water distribution to agricultural areas. The proposed management plan offers a practical solution to improve irrigation performance and supports sustainable agrarian productivity in Trucuk Subdistrict.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: 1) Mengetahui bentuk-bentuk dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku menyimpang peserta didik Mts Hasyim Asy’ari Sidoarjo. 2) Mengetahui peran guru PAI dalam menanggulangi perilaku menyimpang peserta didik Mts Hasyim Asy’ari Sidoarjo. Metode pada penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Data bersumber dari Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah bidang Kesiswaan, dan guru Pendidikan Agama Islam. Teknik analisis data yang dipakai pada penelitian ini ialah teknik analisis interaktif dari Miles dan Hubermas yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gambaran bentuk-bentuk perilaku menyimpang pada peserta didik di MTs Hasyim Asy’ari Sidoarjo dibagi dalam beberapa ketegori berikut ini: kategori ringan; kelengkapan seragam tidak sesuai aturan disiplin sekolah, berambut panjang bagi Laki-Laki, berhias berlebihan bagi Perempuan, tidur di dalam kelas, terlambat masuk sekolah, membolos (pulang lebih awal), dan berada di kantin pada waktu jam pelajaran. Kategori sedang; Tutur bahasa yang kurang sopan, membuat gaduh ketika proses KBM berlangsung, dan membawa HP serta aksesoris. Kategori berat yaitu; berkelahi, memalak, dan bullying. Hal demikian dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal maupun eksternal. Adapun Peran guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam menanggulangi perilaku menyimpang adalah: Pertama, (melakukan tindakan represif) yaitu dengan cara menunda dan menahan perilaku menyimpang peserta didik atau menghalangi timbulnya perilaku menyimpang yang lebih parah serta memberikan bimbingan dan nasehat, menegakkan disiplin sekolah, penerapan sanksi dan pemanggilan orang tua. Kedua, melakukan tindakan kuratif yaitu dengan cara memberikan skorsing dan pengembalian peserta didik kepada orang tua. Ketiga, upaya melakukan pendekatan agama kepada peserta didik, sebagaimana yang telah dilakukan oleh narasumber yakni mengajarkan dan mengajak siswa untuk melakukan hal-hal yang bernuansa agamis. Hal ini didasari atas keyakinan bahwa hal tersebut mampu menjadikan hati siswa lunak sehingga mudah untuk dinasehati dan diarahkan menjadi pribadi yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Abstract— The biggest challenge in the 21st century learning era is how educators can face challenges and adapt to the development of this era. The success of students in learning is also influenced by the professional competence of teachers. Therefore, the role of the Principal is very important in efforts to improve the professional competence of teachers to survive in the current globalisation and advance the school they lead. This study aims to analyse and describe how the role of the Principal's strategy in improving the professional competence of teachers in the 21st century learning era as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in improving the professional competence of teachers at SMK Pusat Excellence Al-Azhar Menganti. While the type of research used is descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach conducted at SMK Pusat Keunggulan Al-Azhar Menganti Gresik intensively, in detail and in depth about certain events and phenomena in order to obtain valid information. The results showed 1) The role of the Principal as a manager, (educator) educator, and as a motivator as a way to improve the professional competence of teachers; 2) The strategic role of the Principal is to provide training programmes, workshops, and in house training as an effort to digitally improve the professional competence of teachers in facing the demands and challenges of 21st century learning, assisting teachers in improving the quality of their performance and a means of integrating the curriculum applied in schools with the needs of the Industrial World; 3) Supporting factors are competent Human Resources (HR), strong teacher responsibility. Willingness to continue learning, and high motivation to create and innovate. While the inhibiting factors are the inability to manage personal problems, lack of time management skills, cost factors, location, family and limited infrastructure facilities. Abstract

This research examines the strategies of school principals in promoting Islamic education institutions in rural areas with a focus on MTs State 3 Aceh Jaya Krueng Sabee District, Aceh Jaya Regency. The purpose of the study was to explore the strategic measures taken in improving the quality of education in neighborhoods facing various challenges post-tsunami 2004. The research method employed a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and study of documents. Data analysis was performed by data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study showed that the strategies applied included curriculum adjustment to local culture, development of teachers’ professionalism through training, as well as improvement of educational facilities. The impact of this strategy is evident in an increase in student enrollment by up to 30% and more active community participation in educational activities. Supporting factors include community support and strong leadership, whereas hindering factors include proximity to facilities and access to quality training. This study makes an important contribution in understanding the dynamics of educational leadership in rural areas and provides practical recommendations for sustainable quality improvement of Islamic education.

Abstract

In the digital era, formal education is not only about learning at school but also about learning and education outside of school. This condition has more or less directly affected the consideration of parents in choosing a school, especially in the digital era. This research is conducted using quantitative and qualitative analysis methods. The quantitative method is performed by analyzing the potential of the schools chosen by parents, while the qualitative method is to find out the opinions of parents in more depth in choosing schools for their children. TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) analysis is performed which involves three experts in assessing good schools in the digital era. Three types of schools are used as research objects such as Islamic Boarding Schools, Public Schools, and Subsidized Schools. Some interesting findings related to considerations of parents in choosing a school are related to religious education for their children, access to education, and also the reason for the relatively expensive cost of Islamic-based schools. Therefore, parents tend to choose non-boarding public schools.

Abstract

Banyaknya siswa yang diantar ke sekolah oleh kendaraan pribadi orang tuanya berdampak pada konsentrasi kendaraan di jalan. Jika masalah ini tidak segera diatasi, dapat menyebabkan penundaan perjalanan dan kemungkinan kemacetan lalu lintas. Tren yang terjadi adalah pertumbuhan jumlah kendaraan pribadi, yang memiliki peningkatan dominan jika dibandingkan dengan transportasi umum. Masalah lainnya adalah tingginya angka kecelakaan di Kabupaten Blitar yang melibatkan pelajar. Untuk mengurangi jumlah kecelakaan yang melibatkan siswa, perlu disediakan bus sekolah dan mengoptimalkan/mengaktifkan kembali transportasi umum yang ada sebagai bus sekolah. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk: 1) menganalisis potensi permintaan bus sekolah; 2) memilih rute bus sekolah yang perlu dikembangkan berdasarkan zona asal dan titik transfer yang efektif; dan 3) menentukan jenis dan jumlah bus sekolah yang dibutuhkan. Tahapan penelitian mulai dari mengeksplorasi latar belakang dan permasalahan hingga merumuskan tujuan penelitian, kemudian melakukan survei dan pengumpulan data untuk analisis selanjutnya yang akan dilakukan, yang meliputi analisis potensi permintaan, pemilihan rute, serta penentuan jenis dan jumlah armada sehingga dapat dibuat kesimpulan dan rekomendasi.

Abstract

AbstractTaman Wisata Air Wendit is a priority tourist attraction in Malang Regency. This tourist attraction offers artificial tourism related to water-pool for children and adults. However, there has been a significant decrease in tourists more than 60% in the last five years. Scholars explained that tourism services quality is an essential factor influences tourist visits. It is considered as a successful indicator of tourist attraction in providing restorative value/benefits. This research aims to analyze the gap between performance and importance of tourism service qualities in the Taman Wisata Air Wendit. Data collected used observation and questionnaires with 100 respondents/samples. This reserach applied a descriptive quantitative and Important Performance Analysis (IPA). The results of the IPA show that tangibles, assurances, and empathy variables were in quadrant 1 (concentrate here). This means that several indicators need to be improved both quality and quantity in order to increase the tourist’s expectations and their revisit intention. Thus, these priority indicators are considered for improving tourism service quality at Wendit Water Park, Malang Regency.Abstrak Taman Wisata Air Wendit merupakan objek wisata unggulan Kabupaten Malang. Objek wisata ini menawarkan wisata buatan berupa kolam pemandian untuk anak-anak maupun orang dewasa. Akan tetapi, terjadi penurunan wisatawan yang signifikan antara 25-40% dalam lima tahun terakhir. Beberapa peneliti menjelaskan bahwa kualitas pelayanan pariwisata merupakan faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap kunjungan wisatawan. Kualitas pelayanan wisata dianggap sebagai tolak ukur keberhasilan suatu objek wisata dalam memberikan nilai/manfaat restoratif. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa kesesuaian antara kinerja dan kepentingan terhadap aspek pelayanan pariwisata Taman Wisata Air Wendit. Metode pengambilan data dengan cara observasi dan kuesioner. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah wisatawan Taman Wisata Air Wendit dengan sampel yang diambil sebanyak 100 responden. Analisis data menggunakan Important Performance Analysis (IPA). Hasil analisis IPA menunjukan pada variabel tangibles, assurances, dan emphaty berada pada kuandran 1. Hal ini berarti beberapa indikator pada kuadran tersebut perlu untuk peningkatan kualitas maupun kuantitas demi memenuhi harapan wisatawan sehingga mereka berminat untuk berkunjung kembali. Dengan demikian, indikator prioritas tersebut dipertimbangkan untuk peningkatan kualitas pelayanan Taman Wisata Air Wendit Kabupaten Malang.

Abstract

This study investigates how Islamic values can foster environmental responsibility and influence youth behavior within the context of green governance education. Despite the expansion of global and national environmental policies, their effectiveness is often limited by weak ethical engagement and a lack of value-based education at the grassroots level. Existing research typically focuses on policy frameworks or institutional reforms, neglecting the potential of faith-based education to transform student awareness. To address this gap, the present study employs a qualitative case study design rooted in Social Justice Theory in Islam (Choudhury, 2020), which views humans as khalifah (stewards) responsible for upholding adl (justice) and tawazun (balance) in all aspects of life. Data were gathered through three Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with 28 university students from South Sumatra, Indonesia, representing two universities that actively participate in the UI GreenMetric program. Thematic analysis revealed that students' comprehension of Islamic environmental ethics transcended mere conceptual understanding, translating into responsible consumption, community engagement, and peer-led sustainability initiatives. These findings demonstrate that participatory Islamic pedagogy can cultivate moral leadership and ecological consciousness, positioning students as active advocates for environmental justice. The novelty of this study lies in its comprehensive analysis of how Islamic ethical principles are applied within green governance education, an area seldom explored in higher education. The results emphasize the need for Islamic education policy to incorporate faith-based environmental ethics into curricula, promoting spiritually grounded and sustainability-oriented youth leadership.
