Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the effect of the TPS learning model to increase Critical Thinking Skills and students learning activities toward subject matter of Circulatory System at class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Natar. The research design was pretest-posttest non-equivalent groups. The samples in this study  are the students class XI IPA2 and XI IPA4 randomly selected by purposive sampling technique. Quantitative data obtained from the average value of pretest and posttest were statistically analyzed using u-test. Qualitative data in the form of student activity data during the learning process. The The results showed that the use of TPS learning model there are significant effect improving Critical Thinking Skills students, it’s seen in the experimental class average N-value gain of 47.8 and an average value of N-gain control grade of 21.5 . Then the average yield of all activities of the students stated that activity in the classroom using TPS learning model each meeting higher. It’s can be concluded that the use of the TPS learning Model can improve Critical Thinking Skillsand activities of the student  class XI IPASMA Negeri 1 Natar District, South Lampung toward subject matter of Circulatory System.

Abstract

This research was aimed at determining the effect of Jigsaw learning model to students' verbal communication skills and learning outcomes which the design was pretest posttest for non equivalent groups. The samples were students of class VII A and VII B which were selected by purposive sampling. The qualitative data such as the average score of students' oral communication skills and students' responses questionnaire were analyzed descriptively. The quantitative data were obtained from the average score of pretest, posttest, and gain then statistically analyzed using t-test and U test. The results showed that the students of experimental class had an average score of verbal communication skills with good criterion (81.48). Students’ learning outcomes had increased, with an average gain (0.57). Most of the students (96.30%) gave  positive responses to the implementation of Jigsaw cooperative learning. Thus, Jigsaw cooperative learning model was influential in improving students’ oral communication skills and learning outcomes. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran tipe Jigsaw terhadap kemampuan komunikasi lisan dan hasil belajar siswa dengan desain pretes-postes kelompok tak  ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII A dan VII B yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data kualitatif berupa rata-rata nilai kemampuan komunikasi lisan siswa dan angket tanggapan siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai pretes, postes dan gain, kemudian dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan uji-t dan uji U. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata siswa kelas eksperimen memiliki kemampuan komunikasi lisan dengan kriteria baik (81,48). Hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan, dengan rata-rata gain (0,57).  Sebagian besar siswa (96,30 %) memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi lisan dan hasil belajar siswa. Kata kunci : hasil belajar, komunikasi lisan, pembelajaran kooperatif Jigsaw

Abstract

This research was aimed to know the influence of STAD  model in improving student learning activity and material mastery. This study design was pretest-post test non equivalent group. Samples were XIIPA1  and XIIPA2  was chosen by purposive sampling. The data of this research used qualitative and quantitative. The qualitative data was gotten by student learning activity and questionnaire that was analyzed descriptive. The quantitative data were the average of pretest, posttest and N-gain score, there were analyzed by using U-test. The result showed that  the average of student learning activity in experimental class increased by well criteria (80.23). The material mastery also develop, with N-gain average score (67.38). Beside that, the most of students responded positively to the application of the STAD method. Thus, it could be concluded that the application STAD method was influenced significanly to improve the student learning activity and material mastery on the material of digestion system.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model STAD dalam meningkatkan aktivitas belajar dan penguasaan materi oleh siswa. Desain penelitian adalah  pretes-postes kelompok non ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XIIPA1 dan XIIPA2 yang dipilih secara purposive sampling.  Data penelitian  ini berupa data kualitatif dan kuantitatif.  Data kualitatif berupa aktivitas belajar dan tanggapan siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai pretes, postes dan N-gain, kemudian dianalisis dengan uji U. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan dengan kriteria baik (80,23) . Penguasaan materi oleh siswa juga mengalami peningkatan dengan rata-rata N-gain (67,38). Selain itu, sebagian besar siswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap penggunaan model STAD. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran menggunakan model STAD berpengaruh signifikan terhadap aktivitas belajar dan penguasaan materi oleh siswa pada materi pokok sistem pencernaan makanan.Kata kunci:   aktivitas belajar siswa, model pembelajaran STAD, penguasaan materi, sistem pencernaan makanan

Abstract

This research was aimed to find the effectiveness of Jigsaw learning model to students learning outcomes and activities.This research was conducted in SMPN 5 Bandar Lampung with research design was pretest- posttest non equivalent. The research sample were students in V11h andV11i class that were selected by purposive sampling method. The research data were quantitative obtained from the average value of test that were analyzed by using t-test and U-test and the qualitative data were obtained from the observation sheet of learning activities and questionnaire of students response that were analyzed descriptively.The results showed that the average of learning outcomes in experimental class was higher than N-gain average (eksperiment = 54,90 and control = 22,41). The average of students learning activities percentage in all class aspects in experiment class shown higher environment than control (class 73,61 and 60,14). The students gave positive responses to the using of Jigsaw learning model.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran Jigsaw terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP N 5 Bandar Lampung dengan desain penelitian pretes-postes tak ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian siswa kelasV11h dan V11i dipilih menggunakan metode Purposive Sampling. Data penelitian berupa data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai tes dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dan uji-U dan data kualitatif diperoleh dari lembar observasi aktivitas belajar dan angket tanggapan siswa dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebihtinggi dengan rata-rata N-gain (eksperimen=54,90; kontrol =22,41).Rata-rata persentase aktivitas siswa semua aspek kelas eksperimen juga menunjukkan peningkatan yang lebih tinggi (eksperimen = 73,61; kontrol = 60,14). Semua siswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap penggunaan model pembelajaran Jigsaw.Kata kunci : aktivitas belajar, hasil belajar, jigsaw, metode diskusi, pengelolaan lingkungan

Abstract

This research was aimed to know the effect of audio visual towards conceptual understanding and students learning activities. This research design was pretest-postest non equivalent group. The population of this research were classes of SDN Kampung Baru. The samples class were VA and VB that were chosen by purposive sampling. The quantitative data was obtained from the average value of pretest, postest, and N-gain that were analyzed using t-test and U-test. The qualitative data were student activity and responses were analyzed descriptively. The result with N-gain naverage 40,40. N-gain average of C1 indicator was 58,57% and C2 38,46%. Learning activities of students in the experimental class have an average 77,72%. Most of the students (94,49%) gave positive responses towards audio visual. Thus, audio visual is significant influence to improve students conceptual understanding and student learning activities for subject matter of natural phenomena and its impact.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan audio visual terhadap peningkatan penguasaan konsep dan aktivitas siswa. Desain penelitian adalah pretespostes kelompok tak ekuivalen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 1 Kampung Baru. Sampel penelitian ini kelas VA dan VB yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai pretes, postes, dan N-gain yang dianalisis menggunakan uji t dan uji U. Data kualitatif berupa aktivitas dan tanggapan siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian dengan rata-rata N-gain sebesar 40,40. Rata-rata N-gain pada indikator C1 58,57% dan C2 sebesar 38,46%. Aktivitas belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen memperoleh rata-rata 77,72%. Sebagian besar siswa (94,49%) memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap penggunaan audio visual. Dengan demikian, audio visual berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan penguasaan konsep dan aktivitas siswa pada materi peristiwa alam dan dampaknya.Kata kunci : audio visual, penguasaan konsep, peristiwa alam dan dampaknya

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the influence of picture cards media to activity and student learning result matter of Mushrooms. The samples were students of X MIA 1 and MIA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Negeri Besar chosen by Purposive Sampling technique. Design of this research was pre-test-post-test non equivalent. The quantitative data were obtained from student learning result were analyzed using t-test and u-test. The qualitative data consist of learning activities and student responses were analyzed descriptively. The result was cards media influenced significantly student learning result with average 80.80 of experiment class was higher than 65.00 control class. Therefore, learning using a picture cards media significantly influence in improvement of activity and student learning result in cognitive of matter Mushrooms. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh media kartu bergambar terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa materi pokok Jamur. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIA 1 dan MIA 2 di SMA Negeri 1 Negeri Besar yang dipilih dengan teknik Purposive sampling. Desain penelitian ini pretest-postest non equivalen. Data kuantatif diperoleh dari hasil belajar siswa yang di analisis menggunakan uji-t dan uji u. Data kualitatif berupa aktivitas belajar dan tanggapan siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan dengan rata- rata nilai kelas eksperimen yaitu 80,80 lebih tinggi dibanding kelas kontrol sebesar 65,00. Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran menggunakan media kartu bergambar berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa materi Jamur.Kata kunci: aktivitas, hasil belajar, jamur, media kartu bergambar

Abstract

This research was aimed to know the effect of Student Work Sheet (SWS) based inquiry towards student Critical Thinking Skills (CTS). The samples of this research were XI IPA1 and XI IPA2 that was chosen by purposive sampling. The quantitative data was obtained from the average value of test that analyzed by using U-test. The qualitative data were description of  student CTS, learning activities and questionnaire responsed that analyzed descriptively. The results of experiments showed that the improvement of student CTS was increase in experiment class with gain average (0.45) in middle criteria. Gain average on deduction skils (0.29); induction skill (0.75); and argument skill (0.63). Where as students average of learning activities was (61.70%)  with middle criteria. Thus, learning used SWS based inquiry was influenced not significantly to improve students CTS.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) berbasis  inkuiri terhadap KBK (Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis) siswa. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas XI IPA1 dan XI IPA2 yang dipilih secara  purposive sampling. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai tes yang dianalisis menggunakan uji-U. Data kualitatif berupa deskripsi KBK, aktivitas belajar, dan angket tanggapan siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan KBK siswa pada kelas eksperimen dengan rata-rata  gain (0,45) yang berkriteria sedang. Rata-rata gain pada kemampuan melakukan deduksi (0,29); keterampilan melakukan induksi (0,75); dan keterampilan mengemukakan argumen (0,63). Sedangkan rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa sebesar (61,70%)  yang berkriteria sedang. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran menggunakan LKS berbasis inkuiri berpengaruh secara signifikan dalam meningkatkan KBK siswa.Kata kunci :  aktivitas belajar, KBK, LKS berbasis inkuiri

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the influence of PBI to creative thinking skill in argumentative writing and student responses by using PBI on human role in environmental management subject matter. The samples were student of VII1 and VII5 SMP Satya Dharma Sudjana Lampung Tengah by purposive sampling technique. The design of this research was pretest-posttest non equivalent. The quantitative data of creative thinking skills were obtained from pretest, posttest and N-Gain which were analyzed by t test and U test. The qualitative data was student responses from questionnaire which were analyzed descriptively. The result showed that PBI increase creative thinking skill on students argumentative writing significantly with the average of N-gain in experiment class (44,20%) which was higher than control class (36,27%). More than 80% students gave positive responses to the using of PBI. Based on this research PBI gave influence to improved creative thinking in argumentative writing.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh PBI terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif dalam tulisan argumentatif dan tanggapan siswa terhadap penggunaan PBI materi peran manusia dalam pengelolaan lingkungan. Sampel adalah siswa kelas VII1 dan VII5 di SMP Satya Dharma Sudjana Lampung Tengah dengan teknik purposive sampling. Desain penelitian ini pretest-posttest non equivalen. Data kuantatif kemampuan berpikir kreatif diperoleh dari pretest, posttest, dan N-Gain yang dianalisis menggunakan uji t dan uji U. Data kualitatif berupa tanggapan siswa dari angket yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil menunjukkan PBI meningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dalam tulisan argumentatif siswa secara signifikan dengan rata- rata N-Gain kelas eksperimen (44,20%) lebih tinggi dibanding kelas kontrol sebesar (36,27%). Lebih dari 87% siswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap penggunaan PBI. Oleh karena itu, PBI berpengaruh meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dalam tulisan argumentatif.Kata kunci: kemampuan berpikir kreatif, PBI, tulisan argumentatif

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the influence of problem solvings learning in increasing students argumentation skill and students learning outcomes. The samples were students of VIIA and VIIB SMPN 19 Bandar Lampung chosen by Purposive Sampling technique. The research used pretest-postest non equivalent design. The qualitative data were the assesment sheet of argumentation skill and student responses that were analyzed descriptively. The quantitative data were the learning outcomes that was analyzed by using T-test. The increasing in the average of students argumentation skill of experiment class was (51,4%). The result of students learning outcomes with N-gain average (51,9) was significantly different with class control (29,4). Most of students (81,5%) showed positive responses. Therefore, problem solvings learning could improve students argumentation skill and learning outcomes.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Solving terhadap kemampuan berargumentasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIA dan VIIB SMPN 19 Bandar Lampung yang dipilih dengan teknik Purposive Sampling. Desain penelitian menggunakan pretest-postest non equivalent. Data kualitatif berupa data kemampuan berargumentasi siswa dan tanggapan siswa terhadap model Problem Solving yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Data kuantitatif berupa hasil belajar siswa yang dianalisis dengan Uji T. Peningkatan rata-rata kemampuan berargumentasi siswa kelas eksperimen sebesar (51,4%). Hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen dengan rata-rata N-gain (51,9) berbeda signifikan dengan kelas kontrol (29,4). Sebagian besar siswa (81,5%) memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap model Problem Solving. Sehingga, penggunaan model Problem Solving dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berargumentasi dan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, kemampuan berargumentasi, problem solving

Abstract

This research aimed to know the effect of brochure towards student’s learning activities and material mastery. This research design was pretest-postest non equivalent group. Samples were VIIIB and VIIIC that was chosen by purposive sampling. The result showed that the brochure teaching material can improve student’s learning activity with the average score of all aspect in experiment class was high criteria (75.53%) with present discuss result (88.3%) as highest aspect and give an idea (66.3%) as lowest aspect. While the students’ material mastery result of the average of gain was 0.70. Gain average of C2 indicator was 0,53; C4 indicator was 0.74; and C5 indicator was 0.9. Beside that, generally student (74.16%) gave positive response towards brochure. Thus, learning use brochure is significan influence to improve students’ material mastery.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan bahan ajar brosur terhadap peningkatan penguasaan materi oleh siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah pretes-postes kelompok tak ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas VIIIB dan VIIIC yang dipilih dari populasi secara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan bahan ajar brosur dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa dengan nilai rata-rata semua aspek pada kelas eksperimen berkriteria tinggi (75,53%) dengan aspek tertinggi mempresentasikan hasil diskusi kelompok (88,3%) dan aspek terendah mengemukakan ide (66,3%). Sedangkan penguasaan materi siswa diperoleh rata-rata gain 0,70. Rata-rata indikator kognitif C2 sebesar 0,53; indikator C4 sebesar 0,74; dan indikator C5 sebesar 0,9. Selain itu, pada umumnya siswa (74,16%) memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap penggunaan brosur. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran menggunakan brosur berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan penguasaan materi oleh siswa.Kata kunci : aktivitas belajar, brosur, penguasaan materi
