Abstract

In the 21st century, information and communication technology has developed rapidly. Changes in the learning system to be student-centered. One of the principles of the 2013 curriculum is that students learn from various learning sources. Learning resources can be in the form of print media or electronic media. When studying, teachers rarely connect physics with everyday life, whereas nowadays, the wording many learning media that can explain physics in everyday life. Research on physics learning media has done a lot. This study has a purpose, namely to see the impact of ICT-based physics learning media on senior high school student learning outcomes. The research method is meta-analysis. Articles published in 2011-2021. The article consisted of 17 national articles and three international articles that met the predetermined criteria to be processed to calculate the effect size. Effect size is calculated based on five categories, namely grade level, ICT-based learning media, learning materials, online/offline ICT-based media, and student learning outcomes. The research results obtained (1) ICT-based learning media gave the highest effect in class XI, namely 1,87. (2) ICT-based learning media gives the highest effect on Adobe Flash media, which is 3,30. (3) the learning material gives the highest effect on the rigid body equilibrium material, which is 5,50. (4) online/offline ICT-based media have the highest effect on offline media, namely 1,41. (5) learning outcomes have the highest effect on the knowledge aspect, namely 1,28. Therefore, ICT-based physics learning media has a good effect on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Responding to the 21st century, among others, is necessary to develop creative thinking skills. However, students' creative thinking skills are still low, this is due to the lack of modules that can help students in their knowledge and develop creative thinking skills, including in physics subjects. In general, this researcher is producing a contextual-based physics module that integrates creative thinking skills. In this research, the type used is R&D with ADDIE design. The instruments are in the form of a validity test questionnaire sheet by the lecturer and a practicality test questionnaire sheet by the lecturer. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using statistics with a correlated t-test”. Based on the analyzed data, it shows that the physics module developed has a value of 84.80 and is in the valid category. The use of the module on static fluid and heat temperature values obtains practicality values of 88 and 92, respectively, both of which are in the practical category. The use of the tested module its effectiveness on high school students scored 30.33 at the pretest stage and 60.73 at the posttest stage. This increase indicates that the module is in the effective category.

Abstract

Bahan ajar fisika yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran fisika harus mampu mengembangkan pengetahuan dan meningkatkan kemampuan proses kognitif siswa. Kenyataan di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang belum memenuhi harapan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan ajar taksonomi Bloom revisi konsep medan magnet pada pembelajaran fisika SMA dan mengetahui validitas dan pengembangan bahan ajar taksonomi Bloom revisi konsep medan magnet kelas XII SMA. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research And Development (RnD) dengan mengambil model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) yang diturunkan ke tahap pengembangan. Subyek penelitian adalah 3 orang dosen fisika UNP dan 3 orang guru fisika dari SMAN 1 Kampar Timur,SMAN 2 Kampar dan SMAN 1 Kampar Utara, dengan objek penelitian bahan ajar berbasis taksonomi Bloom. Revisi perangkat pembelajaran yang terdiri dari RPP, bahan ajar, dan instrumen. Evaluasi bahan magnet medan. Berdasarkan analisis data yang telah dilakukan, validitas bahan ajar berdasarkan taksonomi Bloom Revisi pada konsep medan magnet pada pembelajaran fisika di kelas XII SMA menurut tim ahli yang memperoleh hasil analisis dengan rata-rata 82,4% dan menurut tim praktik dengan rata-rata 91 , 73%. Secara keseluruhan diperoleh 87,06% dalam kategori yang valid secara teoritis dan dapat dilanjutkan dengan uji coba lapangan untuk mengetahui kepraktisan dan keefektifannya dalam pembelajaran fisika di SMA. dengan objek penelitian bahan ajar berbasis taksonomi Bloom.Revisi perangkat pembelajaran yang terdiri dari RPP, bahan ajar, dan instrumen. Abstract

Higher thinking skills must be possessed by students in facing 21st century education. Creative thinking skills are needed in various ways, especially in learning to improve student learning outcomes in class. So that text books are needed as a support for the learning process. For this reason, it is necessary to pay attention to whether the textbooks used are in accordance with the demands of the current 2013 curriculum. One of the curricula in the 2013 curriculum is the use of texts that can facilitate students' creative thinking skills. So it is necessary to analyze physics learning textbooks for class XI semester 2 on static fluid, temperature and heat materials as well as optical devices to find out whether the presentation of physics textbooks for class XI facilitates creative thinking skills. The population in this study were all textbooks for physics class XI published in Indonesia and used in West Sumatra. The samples used in this study were MK-ER textbooks and MR-TS textbooks. The results of the analysis show that the MR-TS physics textbook is a physics textbook with the highest level of availability of creative thinking indicators with a percentage of 38.69% in the less available category. While the MK-ER physical textbook has the lowest level of availability of creative thinking indicators with 37.68% results being in the less available category. This shows that the MR-TS physics textbook and MK-ER physics textbook have not been perfect in facilitating students creative thinking skills.

Abstract

This exploration depends on the low understudy learning results, the low understudy learning results, among others, brought about by the low innovative reasoning skill of understudies. This is partly due to the fact that in learning students are not accustomed to developing their creative thinking skills, this condition is due to the lack of teaching materials that facilitate students in improving their creative thinking skills which results in their learning outcomes. The solution is to develop a Physics learning module that integrates students' creative thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the Physics learning module on Momentum and Impulse material for class X SMA. The type of research used is research and development (R&D) and the object of the research is a physics module that integrates creative thinking skills. The design model used is the ADDIE model. The research steps include: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Based on the data investigation that has been finished, the normal worth of the module validation is 89% which is in the very valid criteria, it very well may be reasoned that the physics module of integration of creative thinking skills on momentum and impulse material can be said to be valid and can be utilized in class X material science learning in high school

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan pembelajaran fisika terkait kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi atau disebut juga dengan Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) peserta didik. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik SMA Negeri di Kota padang jurusan MIPA dengan 4 sekolah yang menjadi sampel.  Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik proportionate stratifield random sampling dengan instrumen penelitian yaitu wawancara, analisis dokumen Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) yang dirancang oleh guru, observasi guru mengajar di kelas, lembar angket penilaian diri peserta didik dan penilaian diri guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  bahwa RPP yang digunakan guru SMA Negeri di Kota Padang sudah memiliki kesesuaian dengan standar proses pembelajaran. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran berorientasi HOTS yang dilakukan guru sudah terlaksana. Penilaian diri guru dan peserta didik dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran berorientasi HOTS sudah mampu melakukan pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan baik. Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kesesuaian standar proses pembelajaran dan berorientasi HOTS dalam  pelaksanaan pembelajaran fisika yang dilakukan guru saat mengajar di kelas sudah terlaksana. This research aims to analyze the implementation of physics learning related to students' higher-order thinking skills and abilities. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The population in this research were all students of senior high school in Padang City majoring in Mathematics and Natural Sciences, with four schools as samples. The sampling technique used proportionate stratified random sampling with research instruments, namely interviews, analysis of the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) document prepared by the teacher, observations of teachers teaching in class, student self-assessment questionnaire sheets, and teacher self-assessment. The results showed that the lesson plans used by state high school teachers in the city of Padang already conformed with the learning process standard. The implementation of HOTS-oriented learning by the teacher has been implemented. Teachers' and students' self-assessment in implementing HOTS-oriented learning has carried out learning well. Based on these data, the conformity of the standard learning process and HOTS orientation in the implementation of physics learning by teachers when teaching in class has been implemented.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low creativity of students' thinking in learning and teaching materials in schools have not fully facilitated students' creative thinking abilities. Creative thinking is very much needed in learning, therefore supporting teaching materials are needed that can facilitate students' creative thinking skills, one of which is a module. For this reason, researchers will develop a Physics module that integrates creative thinking skills in it. This study aims to determine the practicality of the Physics module developed on Newton's law material. This type of research is included in research and development or commonly called R&D research. The research model with the ADDIE step is the model used in this study. The reason for choosing this model is that this model is suitable for module development because each stage carries out an evaluation so as to minimize product errors. for data collection in this study used a practicality test questionnaire that had previously been validated. This practicality test questionnaire was filled out by practitioners consisting of three teachers and 30 students. The data analysis technique uses a practical analysis of the module which is weighted using a Likert scale. The average practicality value of the Physics module by teachers and students who integrate students' creative thinking skills into Newton's law material is 86% and 91% with very practical criteria so that it can be stated that the Physics module has high practicality and can be used in learning.

Abstract

Weather has a close relationship with community activities in Kototabang. Weather information can be used so that the risk of crop failure and disaster hazards can be minimized. Research to investigate the relationship of weather parameters was carried out using descriptive research with the multiple linear regression method. The variables in this study were divided into independent variables of air temperature, air pressure, and humidity, and the available variable was rainfall. The research method used is a multiple linear regression method with secondary data measurement of AWS and AAWS in Kototabang. The multiple linear regression method aims to predict values based on independent variables. The characteristic of this method is the presupposition variable used by more than one variable. The data processing technique applied was a multiple regression linear with three predictors (temperature, humidity, and air pressure) with the characteristics of three predictors. The purpose of the translation technique, in general, is to describe the effect of the predicted parameters on rainfall. From the output obtained, it is explained that there is a positive contribution from the predictive variable to rainfall. The correlation that occurs from the output is also very strong, reaching an output value of 99.1%. Simultaneously and partially explained that there is a large enough change in the presumed parameters (air pressure, temperature, and humidity) to rainfall. This proves that there is a very rapid change between pressure, humidity, and air temperature to rainfall in Kototabang in 2020.

Abstract

The 2013 curriculum requires teachers to be skilled in the learning process which makes students more active in learning activities. Physics learning does not only discuss theory, but also needs to do practical work so that students understand the concepts being taught, if schools have limitations regarding laboratory equipment, then they can use virtual laboratories instead. There are many research articles about the use of virtual laboratories in physics learning. However, there has been no systematic study that summarizes these studies, for this reason a systematic study is needed that will produce new information. This study aims to: (1) analyze the model/strategy/method of using virtual laboratories in learning physics, (2) analyze the effect of virtual laboratories in learning physics on increasing students' understanding of concepts. The method used in this study is a systematic review. The collected articles totaled 25 articles published in the last 10 years in national and international journals. Data analysis was performed using predetermined instruments and effect size formulas. The results of the study are learning models/learning strategies/learning methods for using virtual laboratories in physics learning to improve students' understanding of concepts, there are 7 learning models, and 2 learning approaches. The discovery learning learning model and inquiry learning model are the most widely used. momentum and impulse materials have a good effect on students' understanding of concepts. with an average effect size value of 1.95 with a high influence category

Abstract

The 21st century requires the world of education to adjust the development of science and technology in improving the quality of education. However, there are several factors that occur in the field. First factor, the use of technology is not optimal as a medium for learning physics. The second factor, physics learning has not been implemented as needed. The third factor, the low scientific literacy of students. Following up on this, technology-based learning media such as interactive multimedia containing scientific literacy are needed. The first step in creating the media is a needs analysis. The purpose of this study was to obtain information on interactive multimedia needs analysis containing scientific literacy in physics subjects at Padang City Public High School. This type of research is descriptive research. The population of this research is all Padang City Public High School. The sampling technique is stratified random sampling and lottery techniques. So that the samples were obtained from three Padang public high schools. Data collection techniques using learning style instruments and instruments for student and teacher needs. This study uses descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The results showed that the student's learning style was 81%, the category was very high. The student's need for interactive multimedia containing scientific literacy is 97% very high category and the teacher's need for interactive multimedia containing scientific literacy is 100% very high category. The conclusion of this study is the need to develop interactive multimedia based on scientific literacy in physics subjects at Padang public high school.
