Abstract

The waste problem is a severe problem that significantly affects the environment and public health. To effectively determine the public’s perception of the waste problem, it is necessary to examine public sentiment toward waste management. This research aims to develop a sentiment analysis model using VADER and deep-translator and analyze the Yogyakarta waste emergency problem. This research was conducted in two phases, namely, the first phase was developing a sentiment analysis model by evaluating its performance based on public data. Then, the second phase classifies public comments from YouTube regarding the waste problem to understand public perceptions and evaluations by identifying positive, negative, and neutral sentiments. The model evaluation results show that sentiment analysis using VADER and deep translator can achieve Accuracy, Precision, Recall, and F1-score values of 0.716, 0.837, 0.853, and 0.738, respectively. The sentiment results from YouTube comments obtained positive, neutral, and negative sentiments of 30.0%, 31.7%, and 37.3%, respectively. The results of the sentiment analysis are neutral sentiment discussing waste management, disappointment in negative sentiment, and hope for waste management in positive sentiment.

Abstract

. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra yaitu Sanggar Bimbingan (SB) Gombak Utara adalah permasalahan kondisi ekonomi dan sosial. Permasalahan ekonomi orang tua siswa disebabkan karena minimnya pendapatan yang diperoleh selama menjadi imigran di Malaysia dan permasalahan sosial disebabkan kesibukan orang tua yang bekerja seharian sehingga interaksi dengan anak-anaknya terbatas. Kondisi ekonomi dan sosial orang tua siswa tersebut berdampak pada faktor kesehatan dan pendidikan siswa. Faktor kesehatan meliputi kesehatan fisik, lingkungan, dan psikologis, sedangkan faktor pendidikan meliputi kemampuan dan proses belajar siswa. Tujuan dari dilaksanakannya program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa tentang pelaksanaan kebersihan dan kesehatan lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan PkM ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi, praktik secara langsung, dan game atau permainan. Kegiatan PkM meliputi pelatihan dan praktik tentang pengelolaan hygiene sanitasi personal dan kesehatan lingkungan, pengelolaan sampah organik dan anorganik, pembuatan poster terkait kesehatan lingkungan, pelatihan trauma healing melalui cerita anak dan permainan, pelatihan penanganan stres pada anak, serta serah terima alat. Semua kegiatan dapat terlaksana dengan baik dan maksimal sesuai yang direncanakan dan peserta antusias mengikuti setiap sesi kegiatannya. PkM ini dapat menumbuhkan semangat belajar dan tekad yang kuat pada diri siswa dalam menghadapai berbagai permasalahan dan tantangan. The problems faced by partners, namely Sanggar Guidance (SB) North Gombak, are problems of economic and social conditions. The economic problems of students' parents are caused by the lack of income earned while being immigrants in Malaysia and social problems are caused by busy parents who work all day so that interaction with their children is limited. The economic and social conditions of the student's parents have an impact on the student's health and educational factors. Health factors include physical, environmental and psychological health, also educational factors include students' abilities and learning processes. The purpose of the community service program is to increase students' knowledge and skills about the implementation of hygiene and environmental health. Implementation of the community service program by using lecture, discussion, hands-on practice and games. The community service program includes training and practice on personal hygiene sanitation and environmental health management, organic and inorganic waste management, making environmental health posters, trauma healing training through children's stories and games, stress management training in children handover tools. All activities can be carried out well and maximally as planned and participants enthusiastically follow each activity session. This community service program activity can foster a strong spirit of learning and determination in students in facing various problems and challenges from the situation.

Abstract

Machine translation is an automatic tool that can process language translation from one language to another. This research focuses on developing Statistical Machine Translation (SMT) from Indonesian to Bengkulu Malay and evaluating the quality of the machine translation output. The training and testing data consist of parallel corpora taken from Bengkulu Malay dictionaries and online resources for Indonesian corpora, with a total of 5261 parallel sentence pairs. Several steps are performed in SMT. The initial step is preprocessing, aimed at preparing the parallel corpus. After that, a training phase is conducted, where the parallel corpus is processed to build language and translation models. Subsequently, a testing phase is carried out, followed by an evaluation phase. Based on the research results, various factors influence the quality of SMT translation output. The most important factor is the quantity and quality of the parallel corpus used as the foundation for developing translation and language models. The machine translation output is automatically evaluated using the Bilingual Evaluation Understudy (BLEU), indicating accuracy values observed when using 500 sentences, 1500 sentences, 2500 sentences, 4000 sentences, and 5261 sentences are 80.56%, 90.86%, 92.50%, 92.91%, and 94.48% respectively.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi telah mengalami pertumbuhan yang sangat pesat. Era digital membawa banyak kemudahan dan keuntungan, mulai dari akses informasi yang cepat, komunikasi yang efisien, hingga kemudahan layanan online yang mempermudah kehidupan sehari-hari. Sejalan dengan hal tersebut era digital juga menghadirkan tantangan baru dalam hal keamanan informasi atau cyber security. Keamanan informasi menjadi semakin krusial dengan meningkatnya penggunaan teknologi digital, membuat individu, organisasi, dan institusi rentan terhadap ancaman siber seperti peretasan, pencurian data, malware, dan serangan phishing.  Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pelatihan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman siswa SMK 1 Sedayu, tentang pentingnya kesadaran dan pemahaman cyber security.  Kegiatan program pemberdayaan umat (PRODAMAT) meliputi tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan PRODAMAT dilakukan dengan metode ceramah dan diskusi tanya jawab. Peningkatan pemahaman siswa diukur dengan rangkaian pre-test dan post-test. Hasil yang diperoleh dari program pemberdayaan umat menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan pemahaman pada indikator kesadaran “Sangat Paham” meningkat dari 31% menjadi 52%.

Abstract

Customer segmentation is a critical process in businesses to understand and meet the diverse needs of customer. This study focused on the challenges of managing large and complex volumes of customer data and identifying the right segments to personalize marketing strategieshow about if I . K-Means Clustering has been widely utilized for its ability to group multidimensional data, but this method often generated broad clusters that lack detailed insights. Therefore, cluster evaluation with the Silhouette Score method became essential to ensure the optimality and validity of the generated groupings. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the quality of K-Means Clustering using the Silhouette Score method on customer segmentation. This research began with the acquisition of a dataset comprising 2,000 data points characterized with 7 attributes: sex, marital status, age, education, income, occupation, and settlement size. The data then underwent pre-processing by checking missing values and normalizing data. K-Means Clustering was then applied to group data into several clusters based on their proximity to the cluster center (centroid). The results of the clusters were assessed using the Silhouette Score method to determine the most optimal number of clusters. The results of this study consisted of manual calculations using Microsoft Excel on 27 data points to facilitate understanding of the logic, steps, methods and practical foundations before implementation on the complete dataset. Furthermore, the results of the Python calculation in 2000 data points showed that the optimal number of clusters (close to the value of 1) between k = 2 to k = 7 was the k = 4 cluster with a Silhouette Score value of 0.43, categorized as a weak structure. Although this value indicated a weak cluster structure, it was the highest value in the test, indicating that the division of data into four clusters (k = 4) was better than the number of other clusters. However, the quality of this cluster indicates the need for futher improvement. Future work should review the used attributes, data normalization methods, or consider other clustering algorithms to achieve a more robust structure and more meaningful interpretation.

Abstract

File carving is a method for recovering files using software such as Foremost and Autopsy. The recovery is conducted for deleted files or formatted devices. Popularity Solid State Drive (SSD) has outperformed Hard Disk Drive (HDD) because SSD is faster, more efficient, and shock resistant. However, recovering SSD devices have a lower probability success rate than HDD because the security system often hampers files recovered on SSD. Based on previous research, the success rate of Security Digital High Capacity (SDHC) only achieved 50% more than SSD, whereas SSD can only return 85.7% of its success. Forensics Digital is a part of Forensics Knowledge for deliver valid digital evidence for law investigation. This research aims to increase the success rate of recovery files using two different software: Foremost and Autopsy. The research uses a 512GB Eaget brand SSD with a New Technology File System (NTFS). The file carving is also conducted using the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) method. APCO has several stages: Planning, Capture, Analysis, and Presentation. The experiment results show that Autopsy software with deep recover mode returned 81 out of 88 files (92%), whereas Foremost software run on Debian to make sure no virus on device that could damage computer especially windows system. First attempt recovery can only return 46 out of 88 files (52%). The findings show that the Autopsy software has a higher successful return rate and can be used for evidence in law enforcement and digital forensics investigations.

Abstract

Obesity is a chronic condition affecting millions worldwide, influenced by genetic predispositions, environmental factors, lifestyle habits, and excessive caloric intake surpassing energy expenditure. widespread prevalence, existing studies lack a comprehensive exploration of classification models that effectively address the complex interplay between lifestyle and physical attributes. This study tackles the absence of an optimal machine learning model for accurately classifying obesity based on these multifaceted factors. To address this gap, the study evaluates the performance of three machine learning algorithms: Support Vector Machine (SVM) with a Radial Basis Function (RBF) kernel, Naïve Bayes, and K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN). The primary objectives are to identify the most accurate classification approach, analyze the strengths of these algorithms, and highlight the importance of lifestyle and physical attributes in obesity prediction. Experimental findings show that SVM with RBF kernel achieves the highest accuracy at 89%, surpassing the performance of the other models. This study advances the field of obesity classification by offering a detailed comparative analysis of machine learning algorithms and underscoring the critical role of integrating lifestyle and physical factors into predictive modeling.

Abstract

Diseminasi hasil publikasi adalah salah satu tugas wajib yang dimiliki oleh dosen Universitas Ahmad Dahlan dengan menghasilkan berbagai macam judul artikel publikasi. Namun permasalahannya adalah artikel tersebut belum diketahui analisis pola pasangan kata yang sering dipasangkan bersamaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari pola pasangan kata dari judul artikel publikasi dengan algoritma Apriori. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan empat tahapan. Tahapan pertama adalah dengan mengkaji penelitan terdahulu, mengumpulkan data serta menganalisis. Tahap kedua adalah melakukan crawling data artikel publikasi dari Google Scholar. Data judul publikasi yang telah diperoleh dilakukan text preprocessing untuk menghasilkan data yang relevan dalam tahap ketiga. Kemudian melakukan pencarian aturan asosiasi pola pasangan kata menggunakan algoritma Apriori dengan menentukan nilai confidence dan support berdasarkan data yang telah melalui tahap text preprocessing. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data judul artikel publikasi dengan jumlah sebanyak 476 data. Berdasarkan 10 kali percobaan yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan nilai support  dan confidence yang berbeda, maka diperoleh hasil rules terbanyak dan memungkinkan untuk dianalisa adalah sebanyak 23 rules dengan nilai tertinggi untuk support, confidence dan lift ratio adalah 13%, 88% dan 12.62, masing-masing.

Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) technology is becoming increasingly popular and holds great potential for application in various fields, including construction. Utilizing AR technology can mitigate problems faced by construction project workers. Construction workers often encounter numerous challenges that hinder the smoothness and efficiency of their work. Common issues include difficulty in design visualization, lack of collaboration, errors in tasks, safety deficiencies, and inefficiency. This study aims to develop a web-based AR application that uses markerless location-based technology to assist construction workers in project visualization and collaboration. The application uses Global Positioning System (GPS) sensors and location data in the form of longitude and latitude to activate and display 3D construction models at actual locations. Users can interact with the 3D model to view detailed information, measure distances, and conduct simulations. The research demonstrates that a web-based AR application using markerless location-based technology can significantly enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of construction work. AR.js enables developers to create web-based AR applications directly in mobile browsers without the need for special app installations. This plugin operates by leveraging the device's camera and recognizing markers such as location, images, or other 2D objects. Once recognized, digital content like 3D models, animations, videos, or other web pages can be displayed on or near the object. Teknologi Augmented Reality (AR) semakin populer dan memiliki potensi besar untuk diaplikasikan dalam berbagai bidang, termasuk bidang konstruksi. Memanfaatkan teknologi AR bisa mengurangi masalah para pekerja proyek konstruksi. Pekerja konstruksi seringkali dihadapkan dengan berbagai tantangan yang dapat menghambat kelancaran dan efisiensi pekerjaan. Masalah umum yang dihadapi pekerja konstruksi adalah kesulitan visualisasi desain, kurangnya kolaborasi, kesalahan dalam pekerjaan, kurangnya keamanan dan kurangnya efisiensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi AR berbasis website yang menggunakan teknologi markerless location-based untuk membantu pekerja konstruksi dalam visualisasi dan kolaborasi proyek. Aplikasi ini menggunakan sensor Global Positioning System (GPS) dan data lokasi berupa garis bujur (longitude) dan garis lintang (latitude) untuk aktivasi menampilkan model 3D elemen konstruksi di lokasi yang sebenarnya. Pengguna dapat berinteraksi dengan model 3D untuk melihat informasi detail, mengukur jarak, dan melakukan simulasi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi web AR berbasis web dengan teknologi markerless location-based dapat membantu meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pekerjaan konstruksi. AR.js memungkinkan developer untuk membuat aplikasi web AR langsung di browser handphone, tanpa perlu instalasi aplikasi khusus. Plugin AR.js ini bekerja dengan memanfaatkan kamera perangkat pengguna dan mengenali penanda berupa lokasi, gambar, lokasi, atau objek 2D lainnya. Setelah dikenali, konten digital seperti model 3D, animasi, video, atau halaman web lain dapat ditampilkan di atas atau dekat objek tersebut.

Abstract

Teknologi Augmented Reality (AR) semakin berkembang dan banyak diterapkan di berbagai bidang, termasuk industri konstruksi yang menghadapi tantangan dalam mempresentasikan dan memvisualisasikan struktur bangunan kepada klien dan pekerja di lapangan. Metode visualisasi tradisional dengan model 3D statis masih memiliki keterbatasan dalam hal interaktivitas, kejelasan, diskusi teknis, serta promosi hasil bangunan. Solusi yang ditawarkan dalam penelitian ini adalah penggunaan AR berbasis markerless location-based untuk visualisasi model 3D bangunan secara real-time di lokasi proyek tanpa memerlukan marker fisik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) yang meliputi enam tahap: konsep untuk menentukan tujuan dan kebutuhan aplikasi, perancangan arsitektur aplikasi dan antarmuka pengguna, pengumpulan data lokasi dan model 3D, pembuatan aplikasi dengan Unity dan fitur location-based AR, pengujian aplikasi untuk memastikan fungsionalitas, dan distribusi aplikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa aplikasi AR berbasis Android yang mampu memvisualisasikan model 3D bangunan di lokasi fisik menggunakan data GPS, sehingga memfasilitasi promosi dan visualisasi proyek secara interaktif. Pengujian aplikasi mencakup uji fungsionalitas, kinerja, kompatibilitas, user experience, validitas, dan reliabilitas. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman klien dan pekerja terhadap desain bangunan serta membantu pengambilan keputusan selama proses konstruksi. Aplikasi ini menawarkan solusi inovatif dalam visualisasi, promosi, dan kolaborasi di industri konstruksi.   Abstract Augmented Reality (AR) technology is increasingly developing and widely applied in various fields, including the construction industry which faces challenges in presenting and visualizing building structures to clients and workers in the field. Traditional visualization methods with static 3D models still have limitations in terms of interactivity, clarity, technical discussion, and promotion of building results. The solution offered in this study is the use of markerless location-based AR for real-time visualization of 3D building models at project sites without the need for physical markers. This study uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) methodology which includes six stages: (1) concept to determine application goals and needs, (2) design of application architecture and user interface, (3) collection of location data and 3D models, (4) application creation with Unity and location-based AR* features, (5) application testing to ensure functionality, and (6) application distribution. The results of this study are Android-based AR applications that are able to visualize 3D building models at physical locations using GPS data, thus facilitating interactive project promotion and visualization. Application testing includes functionality, performance, compatibility, user experience, validity, and reliability tests. The test results show that this application is effective in improving clients' and workers' understanding of building design and assisting decision-making during the construction process. This application offers innovative solutions in visualization, promotion, and collaboration in the construction industry.
